"I Am Lindsay Clancy" — What the Women in Pink Actually Believe

"I Am Lindsay Clancy" — What the Women in Pink Actually Believe
Hundreds gathered outside a courthouse for a mother who strangled her three children. The slogan on their shirts explains more than the trial does.

On August 20th, hundreds of women stood outside a Massachusetts courthouse in pink shirts and prayed for a mother who strangled her three children. Countless more showed their support online. What follows is my attempt to work out what a person has to already believe before they can absolve a murderous mother of moral culpability.

"Madness is rare in individuals — but in groups it is the rule."

— Friedrich Nietzsche

The Crowd That Chose the Killer

What happens when a society’s institutions adopt an ideology that portrays one sex as inherently flawed and “toxic,” while casting the other as unquestionably virtuous?

The reaction to Lindsay Clancy’s trial for the murder of her three children gives us some disturbing insights.

At first, feminist TikTok questioned her guilt, hypothesizing that the husband was the real killer — based on “forensic astrology,” one reading of which “basically states that he did it… & drugged her.” Nearly two thousand readers gave the comment a thumbs up. The hypothesis being that “Leo’s don’t kill. Geminis do.” Thousands more found this to be compelling. Another argues this is evident beyond doubt: “oh he’s a GEMINI? jail for him, that’s all i need to know.”

An entire movement grew out of these TikTok and Facebook posts. Users live-streamed the trial and dissected testimony — through their rigorous process of baseless speculation — posting about "Justice for Lindsay Clancy," how they "Stand With Lindsay," and even identifying with the murderous mother by stating "I Am Lindsay Clancy." This led to a trend of mothers posting videos with their children captioned "Same, Lindsay."

While you’d be justified in chalking these responses up to astrology induced retardation, I think there is a more plausible explanation. If you have accepted the presupposition that women and virtue are inextricably linked — which so much of our political and academic class has — then all arguments downstream have to fortify that belief. Information that reinforces the belief is accepted without questioning, while anything that contradicts it is ignored or viciously attacked.

Although, there's just one problem: these delusional hypotheses have hit a brick wall, considering Clancy admits to the killings. So while the astrological readings must be dispensed with, the underlying belief that created them remains. Hence why the movement now focuses on bolstering Clancy's legal argument that she experienced a psychotic break induced by postpartum psychiatric disease aggravated by overmedication. Perhaps true, but as we can tell by the appeal to astrology, truth isn't what is being selected for. Instead, the selection mechanism is whether the argument absolves Clancy of moral culpability.

The mob psychology around this case became visible on August 20th when hundreds of supporters, many in pink, gathered outside the courthouse. Shirts read “Believe,” “She Needed Help,” and “Peace for Lindsay.” Supporters made heart shaped hands, prayed, and claimed it could have been any one of them.

The sympathy and support is not merely emotional. Tens of thousands of people have resonated with Clancy deeply enough to send over $1 million to her parents — nearly 31,000 donations in roughly a week. The campaign explicitly disclaims any position on the criminal case, stating its purpose is to help her parents rebuild the financial stability they sacrificed over the past three years. It was created by a TikTok mother with her father’s permission.

I — like those practicing “forensic astrology” — have little interest in the granular details of the trial. The reaction and debates that have followed the case are what I find far more important.

One (female) X user claimed that “after watching the trial play out, not only am I convinced we should repeal the 19th Amendment, but we should also limit women’s interactions online.” To which another woman replied, “imagine applying this logic to men. Every time a man commits an act of violence, should we reconsider men’s voting rights? Restrict their internet access? Of course not because we understand that one individual’s actions do not justify stripping civil liberties from an entire sex.”

Except there are many problems with this counter-reasoning. First, not all acts of violence are equal in nature. If a man kills a home intruder threatening his family, he’s rightfully declared a hero. If a man kills his family, he’s rightfully declared a monster. Second, the act of violence committed by Clancy may have been individual, but the support is collective. The mass sympathy for the individual’s monstrous actions cannot be ignored.

Let’s reframe the scenario. Imagine an ex-NFL player suffering from CTE brutally murdered his three children. One could understand his legal team leaning on the violence inducing brain trauma as a defence. Except it’s inconceivable that hundreds of men would show up in person, backed by thousands — if not millions — online, to paint him as the primary victim to be empathized with.

Even if one was to empathize with the CTE sufferer, it’d likely come in a similar manner to Of Mice and Men. Lennie Small is an enormous, physically powerful man with the mind and emotional understanding of a young child. He starts stroking the hair of Curley’s wife, who then panics and screams, causing Lennie to become frightened. This oversized man-child responds by shaking her too forcefully and accidentally breaking her neck. George — Lennie’s closest companion — realizes that Lennie cannot understand or control his own strength and that similar tragedies will keep happening. He also knows that an angry mob led by Curley will seek revenge for the dead woman in a brutal fashion. To spare him from torture or capture, George comforts him by describing their dream farm, especially the rabbits Lennie hopes to tend to, and while imagining that happy future, George shoots him in the back of the head.

That is about all the sympathy I have for someone who murders the innocent and defenceless — much less children who look to you as their primary source of love and protection. As the book depicts, the collective response to such a murder — even if the murderer is truly mentally incapable of understanding such actions — is likely to be death or confinement until death. If Of Mice and Men instead depicted a mob declaring “We’re just like Lennie” or “Stand With Lennie,” the reader would not only question whether the townspeople went randomly insane but whether they should face the same fate as Lennie.

This is not even a men vs. women issue. Rather, it is yet another litmus test for sane vs. insane. A society which affords more sympathy to murderers than their victims — even gifting their family a million dollars — is undeniably morally corrupt.

When the unthinkable becomes debatable — whether it be the Lindsay Clancy support, the celebrations of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, or downplaying the institutional failures behind Iryna Zarutska’s murder — a civilization’s immune system is surely suppressed to a deadly degree.

The Women in Pink

The online and in-person support of Lindsay Clancy is best viewed as a mob — or what Gustave Le Bon would call a crowd. What defines a mob is not its physical assembly but a shared psychological state. The women supporting the child murderer say themselves that this stems from identification with Clancy. They do not see a woman separate from themselves but a reflection — “I Am Lindsay Clancy.”

What can explain such a horrid statement? The current feminist explanation is that mothers commonly face intrusive thoughts in the postpartum period. This may be true, and frequent, but whether someone experiences intrusive thoughts does not absolve them of the moral responsibility for acting on them.

A classic Bill Burr bit illustrates this perfectly: “I have a lot of f**ked up thoughts. You ever drive down the street and see thirty people and you just think [to run them over]?” The crowd erupts in laughter and applause, signalling they too have had similar intrusive thoughts. Burr continues: “You don’t do it, you just think it. That’s what separates the psychos from the functioning psychos.”

Every single person who is being honest with themselves will admit they've had unconscionable intrusive thoughts. Yet am I now expected to extend sympathy to someone who acts on the thought of mowing down a sidewalk full of people with their car? Of course not. Deciding whether to act on those thoughts is the defining difference between a monster and everyone else. We are only expected to elicit sympathy because Clancy is a woman. Not one of these feminists would return the moral leeway if it were a man.

Now I want you to consider the possibility of a feedback loop being created in the fallout of this issue. Social status is very important to humans. It is one of our fundamental drives. We first want to fit into a group and then to be held in high regard by that group. What do you think happens when the price of admission to a group is admitting to or vocalizing your intrusive thoughts? Even further, what happens when that group awards attention and status to those who have the worst thoughts — up to and including murdering their children? Do you think this will lead to fewer or more people within that group having those thoughts? Do you think this will increase or decrease the likelihood of someone acting on those thoughts? Now consider those in the group seeing a seemingly endless supply of emotional and financial support flowing to those who do act.

This is not to say we are going to see COVID-level mass hysteria of otherwise normal mothers now murdering their children, but I would argue that this creates a social environment where the small share of demented mothers now see an opportunity to remove their mask of sanity and get rewarded for it.

It’s truly terrifying that we’ve reached a state where this needs to be said, but if we cannot make clear moral distinctions between the universal experience of having intrusive thoughts and the very particular experience of acting on those thoughts then we are doomed.

Feminist Doublethink

The proclivity for TikTok feminists to argue that Lindsay Clancy cannot be held criminally responsible because her postpartum intrusive thoughts amounted to psychosis not only directly undercuts their entire movement but is also an example of doublethink. Orwell defines doublethink as the ability to hold two contradictory beliefs as true, signalling the erosion of critical thought.

The same movement that insisted the husband was the real killer and Lindsay could not have done this because of her astrology chart, pivoted to insisting she cannot be held responsible for having done it. The belief that women are inherently innocent remains, the argument required to protect it is what changes.

Let’s consider the following propositions:

  1. Women are just as rational, competent, and emotionally stable as men. Therefore, they deserve equal social and political representation.

  2. What Clancy experienced is a normal and relatable part of motherhood — "Same, Lindsay," "I Am Lindsay Clancy" — and that experience is sufficient to remove her legal responsibility for killing her three children.

These two beliefs cannot coexist. I’m not here to tell you whether one or neither of these beliefs is true, but to point out that they can’t both be true.

Note that the second proposition also contradicts the defence it claims to support. Clancy’s lawyers argue particularity by alleging this happened to a single woman, with a rare disorder, and a cascade of medication issues. The movement argues universality, claiming it could have been any one of them. The crowd is taking the the argument of a rare-disease in a specific case to make a claim about all women.

Schrödinger’s feminist is a term popularized by meme culture, but it maps onto the Lindsay Clancy story quite well. The movement portrays women as simultaneously empowered and victimized, choosing whichever state best suits their immediate advantage or argument.

Vying for political power or career opportunities? Women are strong, independent, and capable. Giving in to intrusive thoughts and murdering your children? Women are victims of postpartum depression and cannot be held morally liable for their actions.

AOC recently referred to Woke 1.0 as “crazy.” Well, if this is Woke 2.0, it’s genuinely psychotic, and it will continue to get worse unless we muster the courage to stop giving in to the emotional blackmail.

If women want equality of representation, then they need to exhibit equality of responsibility. If society is to return to sanity it must accept that men and women have both success and failure modes, and stop pretending one sex is toxic by default while the other innocent by nature.

Iranian star Parastoo Ahmadi reportedly sentenced to 74 lashes for singing without hijab - "Iran Iranian star Parastoo Ahmadi reportedly sentenced to 74 lashes for singing without hijab  Musicians and production team understood to be facing same punishment after livestream of patriotic song Deepa Parent Thu 18 Jun 2026 21.35 BST  The Iranian singer Parastoo Ahmadi and eight members of a production team, including musicians, have been reportedly sentenced to 74 lashes for performing in a concert livestreamed on Ahmadi’s YouTube channel in 2024.  According to court documents, the criminal court of Qom province sentenced the artists to flogging, a two-year ban on leaving the country and a two-year ban on engaging in artistic activities on charges that include offending public decency through the production and publication of “vulgar and immoral content” online... In December 2024, the 29-year-old singer performed the patriotic song Az Khoone Javanane Vatan (From the Blood of the Youth of the Homeland) without a hijab in a livestreamed performance that went viral... For Iranian artists, the ruling, though not unexpected, has deepened fears of escalating cultural repression.  The Iranian-British actor Nazanin Boniadi said: “The sentencing of singer Parastoo Ahmadi to flogging for the simple act of singing publicly without a hijab is a stark reminder that, despite talk in Washington of a ‘new regime’ in Iran, the Islamic republic’s machinery of repression remains unchanged.  “Accommodating a regime that flogs women for their voices and kills citizens for demanding their rights only emboldens it to continue down its tyrannical path.”  The Iranian actor Setareh Maleki, who was forced into exile after starring in Mohammad Rasoulof’s Oscar-nominated film The Seed of the Sacred Fig, said the performance had a powerful emotive impact on her. She told the Guardian: “When I watched the video of Parastoo Ahmadi’s concert, it reignited the spirit of resistance in me. For days, I kept watching the videos over and over again, and I felt immensely proud of Parastoo.  “Knowing all the consequences she would have to face, she still refused to give up her right, as a woman, to live, to sing and to be heard. Iranian women never stop fighting against tyranny, not even for a moment, and that is truly remarkable.”  She added: “For an Iranian artist who refuses to comply with censorship inside Iran, the daily routine is a form of resistance."
Damn 1953 CIA "coup" forcing Iran to impose the hijab on women!

A Moral Double Standard on Marital Infidelity - "Surveys have consistently found that most Americans find marital infidelity morally objectionable. Yet, American attitudes are more complex than they first appear. Public attitudes about the morality of infidelity are conditioned on whether it is committed by a man or a woman. Roughly two-thirds (66 percent) of Americans say that when a man has an affair it is always morally wrong. Fewer Americans (55 percent) say it is always morally wrong when a woman has an extramarital affair. Both women and men exhibit a double standard in evaluating the morality of extramarital affairs, although this is somewhat larger among women. Seventy percent of women say that a married man who has an affair is always morally wrong, while fewer (56 percent) say the same when married women have relationships outside their marriage. Gender plays a more modest role among men in how they judge the morality of marital infidelity. Fifty-three percent of men say it is always morally wrong for a woman to have an affair, while 61 percent say same for men.   The extent to which women judge the behavior of married women and men varies significantly by race. There is a massive gap in the views of Hispanic men and women. Nearly three-quarters (73 percent) of Hispanic women believe that a man having an affair is always wrong, while slightly more than half (53 percent) of Hispanic men agree. Conversely, black women assess the morality of marital infidelity about equally whether it is committed by a man or woman (65% vs. 63 %)   Differences also emerge by educational attainment. No group of women is more forgiving of marital infidelity than those with post-graduate degrees. Less than half (45 percent) of women who have an advanced degree say it is always wrong when women commit adultery. In contrast, 61 percent of women with no more than a high school education say this is morally wrong regardless of the circumstances.   There is a notable age gap as well. Nearly three-quarters (73 percent) of young women say it is always morally wrong for a man to have an affair, while only about half (51 percent) say the same for a woman. The double standard among older women is not nearly as large. Sixty-nine percent of senior women say it is always wrong for a married man to have an affair while six in ten say it is always wrong when a woman does."
Yet another sexual double standard that feminists don't care about. Given the age and education effects, it looks like feminism is promoting the double standard. The author is wrong about the literature on the alleged body count double standard

Proposed tougher penalties for theft would punish mostly women – and harm their daughters - "New Ministry of Justice projections predict a dramatic gender shift in New Zealand’s prison population over the next decade, partly due to a proposed law that would increase penalties for theft.  While the total number of people in prison is expected to grow by around 35%, the number of women behind bars is forecast to jump by 63%, almost double the overall rate.  The government’s Crimes Amendment Bill seeks to introduce a new category of low-value theft committed in an “offensive, threatening, insulting or disorderly manner”...   If this bill becomes law, it will affect women disproportionately because theft is more commonly a charge that leads to women being put in remand prison.   Share article  Print article  New Ministry of Justice projections predict a dramatic gender shift in New Zealand’s prison population over the next decade, partly due to a proposed law that would increase penalties for theft.  While the total number of people in prison is expected to grow by around 35%, the number of women behind bars is forecast to jump by 63%, almost double the overall rate.  The government’s Crimes Amendment Bill seeks to introduce a new category of low-value theft committed in an “offensive, threatening, insulting or disorderly manner”.  The bill’s explanatory note makes the intention clear: it is designed to allow harsher penalties for “retail crime […] when the threshold for robbery is not met”.  Under current law, robbery requires stealing from a person using force, threats or intimidation. The new category blurs an important legal distinction because it covers conduct that is non-violent but would attract penalties closer to those used for violent crime.  If this bill becomes law, it will affect women disproportionately because theft is more commonly a charge that leads to women being put in remand prison.  Men are typically remanded for other offences than theft, so they are less likely to be affected by the proposed law... The policy intended to make the public safer may, in fact, make life far less safe for the children of the women who will be imprisoned for petty theft...   New Zealand research estimates the mass incarceration of Māori men in the 1980s and 1990s – largely driven by Māori urbanisation, biased government policies and practices, and the youthfulness of the Māori population – likely exposed Māori girls to a 5.5 times greater risk of childhood sexual abuse compared with Pākehā girls."
If you think female criminals should go to prison, you're a misogynist and hate children. Just like if you think Maori criminals should go to prison, you're a racist and coloniser

James L. Nuzzo, PhD on X - "Gender studies academics are holding panel discussions on how to deal with the growing public criticism of their work. Of course, the problem is not them; it is you. You do not fully understand their greatness. "Programmes like [Gender Equality and Social Justice] are vulnerable in this moment because what we do is both crucial and hard to count. At our best, we do not simply deliver content. We build capacities that universities and democratic societies say they want but rarely know how to recognize, much less defend, when money gets tight. We teach students how to read power, how to think across difference, how to stay with difficulty, how to reflect on themselves as knowers, and how to move between intellectual and social worlds that do not easily meet.""

Adam Grant on X - "It's sad that women's success is a threat to marriages. 544k couples, 29 countries: Separation is 36% more likely when women outearn their partners. The risk goes up further if they have children. A woman's prosperity should be a source of pride, not relationship conflict."
Lisa Britton on X - "This post implies it’s men who are not able to handle their woman being “successful.” But tons of research shows that women still desire partners who earn more than they do. What if it’s not simply “ugh, men!” that’s the problem, but it’s the women who are resentful?"

The Conscious Lee (@theconsciouslee) - "iMa bE a fEmiNiSt bUt cApItAliSm jUsT nEeDs sOmE rEfOrM. Nah. You can't divorce the two, because the two was never separate to begin with. Patriarchy and capitalism ain't roommates who happened to move in together, they are load bearing walls in the same house, and you can't knock one down while promising to keep the other one standing.  Start with the history, because the history is where the receipts live. Silvia Federici showed us that capitalism didn't just inherit patriarchy, capitalism built itself on patriarchy. Before the factory could exist, Europe had to enclose the commons, criminalize women's independence, burn hundreds of thousands of women as witches, and convert women's bodies into machines for producing the next generation of workers.  Apply Federici here: the witch hunts wasn't some medieval superstition, the witch hunts was labor discipline. Capital needed a class of people whose work would never be paid, whose cooking and cleaning and birthing and raising would be renamed "love" and "duty" so the boss could pay one wage and extract two lifetimes of labor. That's not capitalism tolerating patriarchy. That's capitalism requiring it."
The left wing agenda is all connected. The same people who claim capitalism is inherently linked to patriarchy mock those who point out that feminism and other post Marxist ideologies are linked to Marxism

Million-year-old footprints show gender divide among our ancient relatives - "Fossilised footprints of our ancient human relatives show that even in the Pleistocene, males and females had separate roles.  Around 1.4 million years ago, a group of eight hominins left their prints in the moist ground surrounding Lake Turkana – located in what is now Kenya – where they were preserved.  The group members, all male, were stocky ancient relatives of humans called Paranthropus boisei and new research shows they would have stood as tall as Homo erectus, which lived nearby.  The reason for the all-male trip is unknown, but there is a noticeable absence of women and children, suggesting there was sex segregation for certain excursions or tasks in the earliest hominin communities. In modern ape groups, males form strong, cooperative networks, jointly defending territory, patrolling boundaries and hunting together."
How ignorant. Don't they know about the myth of Man the Hunter?!

Emma Watson, 35, says the pressure to get married is 'a violence' against young people
LindyMan on X - "Reminder. All traditional patterns have collapsed. You are free to do anything and organize your life as you want. There is no pressure from any group or society or institution. The modernity project is complete. You are liberated.   Many people cannot handle this truth so they make up fake statements about things "pressuring" them. It doesn't exist."
To left wingers, speech they disapprove of is violence, and violence they approve of is speech

Young women are completely wrong about relationships - "Did you know that one of the fastest-growing cohorts in the US is single, child-free, young women? So much so, in fact, that by the end of this decade, 45 per cent of women aged 25 to 44 will neither have married nor had a baby, according to a report by Morgan Stanley.  Keen to better understand this – and concerned because trends that originate across the pond typically turn up on UK shores before long – I found myself drawn into reading the bank’s reflections on the “Rise of the SHEconomy”.  It suggested that young women today are staying single because they are “more focused on advancing their careers”, they “desire more financial independence”, their “relationship standards are higher” and “their priority is personal fulfilment”. Ouch... Having a partner is not “embarrassing”, as a piece in Vogue suggested last year, but a source of deep fulfilment. It needn’t be the case that a love life comes at the cost of professional success, or vice versa.  I say this as a woman who has had a very successful career, including garnering that all-important financial independence, while also being a wife and mother. I know I am fortunate to be part of the first generation able to “have it all”. I just hope the young women of today don’t decide to also make us the last. The simple truth is that it’s all very well focusing on the career or the money, but no job ever loves you back. The graveyards are full of “essential” chief executives, editors, politicians and leaders. All careers end. And we are, whether we believe it or not, all infinitely replaceable to our employers. However good you are, they can always find someone else to do your job.  The only people to whom we are truly irreplaceable are our families and friends. Yes, it is fulfilling to earn your own money. Yes, it is gratifying to be respected and esteemed in an industry. But it is even sweeter to do both of those things and have deliciously gorgeous children, plus a partner who loves you. I worry that by prioritising “personal fulfilment”, money and career success over their relationships, young women today are going to miss out on the one thing that is crucial to true human flourishing – being seen, loved and valued for who we are.   Nothing is more important than having an intimate witness to grow old with who cares what we had for lunch. And that’s without mentioning the demographic disaster these trends are unleashing, with birth rates in the West plummeting rapidly. Of course, it is tiring to try to do – and have – it all at once, which is why it is so important for those who want a family to choose their partners wisely.  The most successful women I know tend to have a partner whose job is not their defining feature, and who is around to do school drop-offs and go to Sainsbury’s. One who realises that a family needs different kinds of inputs and isn’t too macho to be the lead parent or the domestic chief executive."

James Lindsay, anti-Communist on X - "Canada seems to be trying to set some kind of record for being a completely self-unaware Woke retard country, and this official parliamentary report on combating antifeminism is a great unintentionally hilarious but terrifying new example."
James Lindsay, anti-Communist on X - "Everything in this ultra-retarded report is guaranteed to make worse the exact problem it seeks to address, to the degree it hits legitimate points, because their answer to backlash to feminism and male and normal person alienation is more alienating, unfair feminist nonsense."

Uri Kurlianchik on X - "Liberal women see men from soft and peaceful societies as rapists and oppressors but treat men from hardened barbarian tribes as if they were stray puppies. Make this make sense."

Pamela Anderson declares herself an ‘anti-feminist’ - "the 49-year-old discussed her concerns over gender roles as people become more 'androgynous'. 'Men get weaker in an authoritarian environment; they don't need to be as manly. And women are working... who's watching the kids? I may get some heat for this, but I consider myself an "anti-feminist",' she said... 'I obviously believe in treating people equally, but men and women are different for a reason, with very important roles to play,' she explained.  Pamela also claimed she worries the 'world will forget how to make love'."

We should be putting more women in prison, not letting them all out - "Send fewer women to prison. That’s the consensus across the political spectrum. It is part of Andy Burnham’s plan to free up prison places for men. The Conservatives have said they are sympathetic and even Colin Sutton, Reform’s newly elected Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk, advocates it. Needless to say, prison reform charities are all in favour.  Apparently enough women could safely be released to repurpose HMP Bronzefield, England’s largest women’s prison housing over 500, for male offenders.  As with anything that has become an unquestioned truth, the idea that we are locking up too many women needs to be interrogated. A strong case can be made for the opposite position: that too few women are serving custodial sentences.  There are over 87,000 prisoners in England and Wales, but only around 4 per cent or 3,500 of these are women. This is a dramatic change from times past.  According to House of Commons figures, in 1900 17 per cent of prisoners were women... At 4 per cent of the prison population, we imprison a lower proportion of women than many other countries. In the United States about 10 per cent of the prison population is female. In Hong Kong, with the highest proportion, it is over 20 per cent; in Iceland it is 12 per cent and in famously liberal Sweden it is double that of the English and Welsh rate at almost 8 per cent. The only major Western countries that imprison a lower percentage of women are France and Israel. Having low female incarceration rates is hardly an indicator of female empowerment: Saudi Arabia’s are amongst the world’s lowest. Should there be more men in prison than women? Of course, men are responsible for vastly more violent crime. That said, it must be noted that over 1,000 of the 3,500 English and Welsh female prisoners are inside for violent offences, including murder. Three hundred and fifty or so are serving life sentences, which will be predominantly for murder or, in some instances, manslaughter... There will always be a gender disparity in prison populations. But it appears to have got out of hand here in Britain... Prison reformers always argue that non-custodial punishments can be more onerous than prison time and are getting tougher. If this were the case, one might imagine some defendants would prefer a prison term to a non-custodial alternative. Speak to any defence solicitor: they will never have met a defendant who would rather be banged up than face a community order.  There is good reason to believe that many fewer women are charged with offences than could be. Speak to defence lawyers and some will admit that there is often enough evidence to charge wives and girlfriends of drug dealers and other serious criminals with offences themselves, but they very rarely are so charged. As the Nicola Sturgeon affair indicates, it may be entirely possible for a fraudster’s wag to be unaware of her man’s crimes. But to be living with a drug dealer, you would need to be exceptionally obtuse not to know what your partner is up to. With some narrow exceptions (largely relating to terrorism, child sex offences, or performing a job in, for example, banking with specific reporting responsibilities) not reporting a crime is not a crime. But for many criminals’ wags, defence lawyers will tell you there is often clear evidence that their involvement goes much further.  Criminals respond to incentives and deterrents like the rest of us. If virtually no non-violent female offenders will face prison (and only this would make a meaningful difference to prison overcrowding), then the number of non-violent female offenders will surely go up. And criminal gangs will be incentivised to use them.  To argue that fewer women should be sent to prison is not feminist and denies them agency. True equality means banging up more women."
Of course, if you want women to be sentenced the same way as men, you're a misogynist

William Meijer on X - "Western women have won nearly every political battle over the last century, and yet they seemingly feel worse than ever compared to men. Social scientists have no good explanation why.  My theory is that people high in empathization and low in systemization tend to unknowingly pursue multiple desires incompatible with one another, as well as unique desires incompatible with their own persistence. Optimizing for women's incompatible desires thus creates frustration and unfulfillment in women.  An example of desires incompatible with one another is women's marital and political preferences. Women tend to be attracted to men of equal or higher socioeconomic status, while they tend to vote for income equality. The result is too few eligible men, dissatisfaction with the male dating pool, and lower-than-ever coupling rates.  An example of a desire incompatible with its own persistence is the desire for social liberalism. Western women want to feel kind and consistently vote for liberal parties that orchestrate mass immigration from illiberal cultures. They then denounce the rise of masculinist figures such as Andrew Tate, a man much more popular among non-Whites, a man whose audience they voted to bring into their country.  This is the best theory I could think of. What's yours?"
Moral Dynamics on X - "Theory: This form of a Kafka trap is biology’s way of periodically pumping up male dominance orientations.  Either an invader comes to “right” things, or the local guys step up into fascism (or equivalent) to get the momentum to do so.  Either way you get a large group oriented toward aggression.  What’s counter-fit at one level, like unhappiness, is very-fit at another level, like large-group society.  My 0.02"

The New Truth

From 2020. Another article on the religious aspects of wokeness.

The New Truth

"Perhaps that’s a uniquely New York thing, to place so much faith in talking. But it once felt very American, too... American because, if you could think it and you could argue it, then maybe you could be it, too. It was at least possible. And it was democratic in the best sense. You could talk to anyone, butt into any stranger’s conversation, as long as you had something interesting to say.

I don’t know how to argue in America anymore, or whether it’s even worth it. For someone like me, that is a real tragedy and so I would like to understand how this new reality came about.

There are distinct and deep-rooted traditions of rational empiricism and religious sermonizing in American history. But these two modes seem to have become fused together in a new form of argumentation that is validated by elite institutions like the universities, The New York Times, Gracie Mansion, and especially on the new technology platforms where battles over the discourse are now waged. The new mode is argument by commandment: It borrows the form to game the discourse of rational argumentation in order to issue moral commandments. No official doctrine yet exists for this syncretic belief system but its features have been on display in all of the major debates over political morality of the past decade. Marrying the technical nomenclature of rational proof to the soaring eschatology of the sermon, it releases adherents from the normal bounds of reason. The arguer-commander is animated by a vision of secular hell—unremitting racial oppression that never improves despite myths about progress; society as a ceaseless subjection to rape and sexual assault; Trump himself, arriving to inaugurate a Luciferean reign of torture. Those in possession of this vision do not offer the possibility of redemption or transcendence, they come to deliver justice. In possession of justice, the arguer-commander is free at any moment to throw off the cloak of reason and proclaim you a bigot—racist, sexist, transphobe—who must be fired from your job and socially shunned.

Practitioners of the new argument bolster their rationalist veneer with constant appeals to forms of authority that come in equal parts from biology and elite credentialing. Have you noticed how many people, especially online, start their statements by telling you their profession or their identity group: As a privileged white woman; as a doctoral student in applied linguistics; as a progressive Jewish BIPOC paleontologist—and so on? These are military salutes, which are used to establish rank between fellow “az-uhs” while distinguishing them as a class from the civilian population. You must always listen to the experts, the new form of argument insists, and to the science. Anything else would be invalid; science denialism; not rational; immoral.

Because of the way it toggles back and forth between rationalism and religiosity, switching categories by taking recourse to one when the other is questioned, the new form of argument-commandment, rather than invalidating itself or foundering on its own contradictions, becomes, somehow, rhetorically invincible—through the demonstration of power relations that the arguer denies exist, but are plainly manifest in the progress of the argument.

The group of historians who submitted their letter of dissent to The New York Times, objecting to the historical claims in the paper’s flagship 1619 project provided a nice demonstration of this point. They questioned the project’s scholarship and in response, were accused of being old white men, as indeed most of them were, and antique reactionaries. When they pleaded that they were not abettors of white supremacy but objected to the project’s historical claims, they were told their history was in error. In the end the historians, however distinguished their careers were beforehand, appeared confused and defeated, complaining solicitously in their allotted column inches in the paper’s letters section.

The 1619 project, meanwhile, having essentially conceded the historians’ central point, lost nothing at all. It marches on unscathed toward becoming the official curriculum in the nation’s public school system, replacing the products of the American historical profession as a whole, which must either adapt or suffer a similar humiliation. The outcome proved that whether or not the historians were right about the facts of history, they had made a fundamental error in judging where power lies. At best, they are dopes who thought they were smarter, which is to say more powerful, than they are. At worst, they are professionally self-destructive, and—who knows—maybe even racists.

Argument itself requires that certain fundamental questions are settled and beyond dispute. In order to argue over whether the sky is blue, we’ll have to agree on what the sky is. The new argumentation has not only vastly expanded the number of subjects that are supposed to be beyond argumentation, it has, by a sleight of hand, reversed the nature of the matters that cannot be questioned. Now, it is precisely the most contentious issues—is biological sex a valid concept? Is racism and abuse so widespread in American law enforcement that we should immediately defund the police?—that must be accepted a priori.

To insist that the conclusion that the arguer wishes to reach, with its implied corollary commandment, must be accepted by his or her opponent as a premise before the argument begins is not the move of a person who has confidence in their truth. It is the opposite of any form of reasoned argument. It is coercive. Except the people who argue this way claim that they cannot possibly be coercive, because you must accept the premise that they don’t have power—even if they are editing The New York Times Magazine, or threatening to get you fired from your job. You say they can’t have it both ways? They say, why not—and then accuse you of opposing the powerless, which, it turns out, is a form of authority that cannot be trumped.

The reason we cannot argue about certain things is because they have already been proven true and the truth they have established is such a significant moral advance—like ending child sacrifice—that to question the rational basis on which the truth rests is to risk eroding a foundation of the moral progress that separates us from encroaching barbarism. If you want to argue about those things, then you are a barbarian—which means that argument with you is impossible, because the only argument that barbarians understand is being put to the sword or sent off to a labor camp.

Do you need me to give you an example of this kind of argument? Not really, because such arguments have become the norm. But here are a few recent examples:

The moral injunction is: “Believe women”—and you believe women, don’t you? The argument underlying the slogan is that sexual violence is rampant in America and goes unaddressed and unpunished because of the endemic misogyny in our society. There are rational assertions contained within this argument: The claim that American women are the victims of rampant sexual violence enabled by ingrained cultural and legal biases was advanced initially as matter of social science—that is, as a matter of science—based on empirical evidence such as a famous study that found 1 in 5 women on American college campuses had been sexually assaulted.

If women were being victimized at such appalling rates and their assailants routinely going unpunished, it followed that they required protections greater than those which our current notions of legal and judicial fairness provided. In fact, one could see how it was precisely our prevailing notions of fairness, like due process or the rights of the accused to face their accuser, that were integral to an institutionalized “rape culture” responsible for the heinous epidemic of sexual assault against women.

Here are the two parts of the argument by commandment. There is the empirical assertion—let’s call it X. And there is the moral claim suggested by, or perhaps even mandated by the evidence of X—let’s call that Y. Empirical evidence shows that there is an epidemic of sexual assault against women, that epidemic requires a drastic corrective, and that corrective enshrines a moral claim and a commandment—American women are sexually victimized, egregiously and without the protections of a justice system that systemically discriminates against them. Therefore it is virtuous to “believe women” and to encode that belief formally in new procedures of law and justice.

Only it turns out the rational argument was wrong. The evidence did not actually show that 1 in 5 women would be sexually assaulted on a college campus, a statistic repeated by President Barack Obama himself to justify “sweeping changes in national policy.”

It turns out that the author of the study himself acknowledged that it was based on surveying only two campuses and the numbers could not be extrapolated to a national trend as the White House itself had done. Other studies widely cited at the time to justify the construction of a punitive new Title IX sex bureaucracy were also marred by significant methodological shortcomings.

But if you were clueless enough to point out the flaws in rational claim X, even if just to wonder over matters of degree, then wham!—you were whacked in the face with moral claim Y. Evidence X isn’t evidence; it’s window dressing. And if you’re too stupid to understand that, then you’re probably an even worse person than the arguer supposed.

Because—think about it—who else but a fervent, drooling misogynist, or a rape apologist, or a real live rapist, namely someone both ideologically and emotionally invested in actively disbelieving women, would be so interested in picking apart the evidence that supported such an obviously virtuous and necessary claim—especially now, at a moment when people are literally dying? What basis would anyone have to question X aside from the desire to violate the moral value of Y?

It’s no surprise that the entire #MeToo movement grew out of the revelations about Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein—a loathsome man who was, by all accounts, a bullying asshole, a lecher, a tyrant, a sweaty groping pig. But in the end, justice finally caught up to him and Weinstein became the evil pig who launched a whole movement. And that was where most of us stopped thinking about it.

But there were a few more twists in the story. First, there was Asia Argento, one of the first actresses to come forward with her story of sexual abuse at the hands of Weinstein and one of the leaders and public faces of the #MeToo movement—who turned out to be an accused sexual predator herself. No one should have to be a “perfect victim” or a moral exemplar to be given sympathy and believed, but Argento was pushing it.

Then there was the evidence that came out in Weinstein’s trial. One of his key accusers was a young aspiring actress with whom he had a yearslong relationship—just the kind of vulnerable victim that Weinstein was said to have sought out. But the private correspondence kept by this woman, which included both letters to Weinstein and letters to her boyfriend about the Hollywood producer, suggested something far more complicated than a predator-victim relationship of the kind that is criminally prosecutable. Especially revealing was the woman’s claim that Weinstein’s sexual organ was defunct, a detail that, if true, would present all sorts of complications for an alleged serial predator like Weinstein. Or should have.

Do we believe in the rightness of #MeToo because of what the Weinstein case revealed or in spite of it? It seems perfectly clear that Weinstein is guilty of some of the crimes against women of which he has been accused, but equally obvious that it is not supposed to matter on which specific charges he is guilty and on which he is innocent by the standards of the law. Weinstein’s guilt must be totalizing so that it can serve as a stand-in for an empirical case justifying a set of new rules and commandments. The entire discourse has been warped to fit a Hollywood narrative—wherein drama and action (and whatever good they might accomplish) are never mustered for regular people but only for the wealthiest members of the American cultural elite. It is rather difficult to point this out without appearing to excuse the actions of someone like Weinstein, but perhaps a movement truly concerned with ending gender discrimination in the workplace and protecting the victims of sexual assault would have focused on the retail industry or the healthcare field, rather than on Hollywood.

Black Lives Matter is a movement that makes its core doctrinal claim a value that no decent person can object to. It asserts that, not merely formal legal acknowledgement, but full human dignity and consideration has been uniquely robbed from black Americans throughout the country’s history. No one with a basic knowledge of American history can deny that this claim is true. But the statement Black Lives Matter makes also has a more pointed political meaning, which is that black lives are systematically devalued in the present, and under assault from racist police violence and an overarching regime of white supremacy that animates every aspect of modern American life. That life, therefore, is in urgent need of reparative justice—like defunding the police, and establishing formal and informal systems of preferences that this time prefer blacks over whites, that statues of white men must be pulled down, that corporations must fire their current employees and hire new employees based on their skin color, and that a massive program of public reeducation must be set in motion across American society, and especially in public schools.

There may be no more totemically powerful moral claim in all of American life than those three words: “black lives matter.” As a meme it is invincible. But the moral claim, with its demand for immediate radical changes to policing and other institutions of American life, is not just a moral claim, it is also supposedly a reflection of observed and analyzed material conditions. For instance, that there is an epidemic of racist, or, more correctly anti-black, police violence in America.

It seems appallingly obvious that systematic police violence targeting black Americans is real. The evidence is everywhere: in the state-sanctioned snuff films that circulate on YouTube and throughout social media maintaining a sense of terror and siege. It does little good to point out that the majority of police violence in 2020 America is directed toward white people, or that a total of 14 unarmed black men were in fact shot in America last year, while a greater number of unarmed light-skinned men were shot by the police, or that a majority of police officers protect their communities in a lawful manner under often difficult conditions. And since it doesn’t matter if you concede that there is evidence of racial bias in policing, just not at anything like the catastrophic level that justifies calls to defund the police, and it doesn’t matter whether you acknowledge a significant need for police reform to make it less prone to escalating violence and more accountable—since that hardly seems to matter in the context of a discussion that now centers on police abolition, why would anyone go to the trouble.

The paradigmatic case of police violence in the modern era was the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. It was Brown’s death, shortly after Trayvon Martin was killed in Florida, that consolidated the movement’s power in national politics. The motto born of the killing that gave birth to the modern era of race relations was “hands up, don’t shoot.” Only we know now that this phrase, a shorthand for the evidence that indicts the society and justifies its rejection and refounding, did not describe the reality of Brown’s death. A lengthy investigation of the killing by the Obama Justice Department found that Brown did not have his hands up and may have been charging at Wilson when he was killed. Of course, the Obama Justice Department report also found evidence of racial bias in the Ferguson police force but it did not support the central claim about the killing of Michael Brown. And so while the DOJ findings were dutifully reported in the press, it was, at the same time, often kept at safe distance from discussion of Black Lives Matter, the movement, the moral claim, the commandment.

The police execution of Michael Brown, who was shot with his hands up, proved the rational basis for the moral claim that “black lives matter” with its implied set of commandments. The moral position further legitimated the idea that progress is illusory and reform is not possible because American society is currently organized, as the Brown case proved, to devalue black lives and thus requires radical overhaul. And so the new argument proceeds, burying contrary evidence in unmarked graves while erecting new religious monuments and shrines at which the growing number of the faithful pay obeisance.

The organs of reason and expertise have one by one, pledged their cultish loyalty to this new faith. A group of doctors wrote an article in Scientific American explaining why the mentioning or reading of the results of George Floyd’s autopsy was a racist act. Public health officials across the country, who had in May condemned public demonstrations in the strongest terms, now fully endorse the protests sparked by the killing of George Floyd. In a petition signed by some 1,200 health officials, they declare that it is incumbent on others in the profession to offer “unwavering support” to the current protesters as a matter of both moral and medical hygiene. They all together elide the difference between empirical claim and moral commandment by declaring that, “White supremacy is a lethal public health issue that predates and contributes to COVID-19.” And so, the merger of pseudorationalist discourse with the new American religion of anti-racism is completed.

America’s elite institutions now routinely make statements and use language that empirically is false. Indeed, they have taken the making, propagation, and enforcement of such language as their central mission. Because these statements are false, they make solutions to the real problems that are being gestured at impossible—while turning people who may want to actually address those problems into evil rape apologists and racists.

What we are witnessing, in the rapidly transforming norms around race, sex, and gender, is not an argument at all but a revolution in moral sentiment. In all revolutions, the new thing struggling to be born makes use of the old system in order to overthrow it. At present, institutions like the university, the press, and the medical profession preserve the appearance of reason, empiricism, and argument while altering, through edict and coercion, the meaning of essential terms in the moral lexicon, like fairness, equality, friendship, and love. That the effort wins so much support speaks to the deep contradictions and corruption of American meritocratic institutions, and of the liberal individualist moral regime it seeks to replace.

Moral revolutions cannot tolerate ambiguity, but there is so much that I’m not sure of. How does one argue with this new form of truth? Not in the old way. Not by taking the bait."

The Clash of Sexual Civilisations

The Clash of Sexual Civilisations

It’s a pretty sick joke. A young man from Syria or Morocco or Afghanistan risks everything to reach Europe. He survives the crossing, the camps, the bureaucracy. He arrives in a civilisation that surrounds him with female flesh on a scale his culture considers obscene — on billboards, on public transport, in the gym, on his phone. And every centimetre of it is legally mined — one wrong look, one misread signal, one drunken encounter, and he becomes not a man who made a mistake but a criminal.

The man is broke, he is foreign, and to the women surrounding him in their skimpy gym wear, he is either invisible or a threat — rarely anything in between. If, by some miracle, he stumbles into a relationship he may end up in a marriage where his wife holds every legal and cultural card — including the power to withdraw sex, his children, his assets and freedom. He traded a society where men rule to arrive at the bottom of one where women rule. A better life? In some ways, perhaps. But when it comes to the thing that matters most to young men, he may have made the worst trade of his life.

Australia’s version of this story arrives by plane rather than rubber dinghy, and the young man in question is more likely to be clutching student enrolment forms than a life jacket. He comes from China, from India, from the Middle East or Southeast Asia. He is ambitious, his family’s great hope, carrying assumptions about women and sex formed in societies where the rules are utterly different. And his encounters with female flesh involve similar cultural and legal minefields – but the courtroom awaiting him may not be a criminal court but rather a campus kangaroo court. A court in name only, where the standard of proof is lower, the rights of the accused are minimal, and the penalty for losing is expulsion and a destroyed future. He came to Australia for an education. He got one — just not the one he paid for.

What we are witnessing is not a clash of civilisations in the grand geopolitical sense, but something more intimate and more combustible — a clash of sexual civilisations. Two utterly incompatible systems of rules about men, women, power, and desire — colliding on buses and street corners, in bars and bedrooms, and the consequences playing out in courtrooms and campus tribunals across the Western world. One system gives women all the power and calls it progress. The other gives men all the power and calls it God’s will. No one is talking honestly about what happens when they clash.

The consequences should be front page news but are usually buried. Writing just last month on his Substack Uncharted Territories, data analyst Tomas Pueyo compiled Eurostat figures showing that between 2014 and 2024, while the EU population grew by less than 2%, sexual assaults across Europe increased by 72% and rapes by 150%. A doubling of rape in a decade, in some of the most prosperous and supposedly civilised societies on earth!

Pueyo then breaks down the data by nationality of offender across five European countries — Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany and Italy. The pattern is consistent and unambiguous: immigrants from Muslim-majority countries are overrepresented in sexual and violent crime across all five nations. Germany’s 2025 police statistics show that Algerians in Germany are 26 times more likely to commit crime than the average German. Thirteen other Muslim-majority nationalities are at least five times more likely. When broken down specifically by sex crimes the overrepresentation is even more stark.

The UK tells a similar story — foreign nationals account for between a quarter and a third of sexual assault convictions despite being roughly 10% of the population, with conviction rates rising 62% in just four years. But it is Britain’s grooming gang scandal that most nakedly reveals what Islamic contempt for Western women actually looks like in practice. In Rotherham, Rochdale, Telford and scores of other towns, organised networks of predominantly Pakistani men systematically abused thousands of vulnerable white girls for decades — while police, social workers and politicians looked away, terrified of being called racist. The perpetrators knew exactly what they were doing. As Muslim community leader Mohammed Shafiq stated on the record, they believed “white teenage girls are worthless and can be abused without a second thought.”

“If you leave meat uncovered on the street and a cat eats it, whose fault is it?” In her book, Prey: Immigration, Islam and the Erosion of Women’s Rights, the brilliant Ayaan Hirsi Ali quotes her Somalian grandmother in warning of the consequences of mass immigration to Europe from Muslim-majority countries. She cites a UN survey of more than four thousand men in Morocco, Egypt, Palestinian areas and Lebanon, which found between one-third and two-thirds of men admitted to sexually harassing women in public.

Hirsi Ali’s anger is directed squarely at Islam — and rightly so. Her life’s work has been documenting the systematic subordination of women in Muslim societies, and the evidence she marshals is devastating. But her argument carries an implicit assumption worth examining, namely that the Western alternative represents unambiguous progress. From where she stands, having escaped one of the world’s most oppressive systems, that is entirely understandable. It is also not quite the whole story.

Western sexual culture has its own pathologies. A culture which encourages women to display their half-naked bodies in public — and then criminalises every male response, including the involuntary glance. A legal framework so aggressively expanded that the line between predatory behaviour and a misread signal has become genuinely unclear — not just to bewildered immigrants, but to men who grew up here. For a Western man who at least knows the rules, that is dangerous enough. For a man formed in a world where very different rules exist — it is a trap waiting to be sprung.

Here’s the thing about Pueyo’s soaring statistics: they are not measuring the same offences they were measuring ten years ago. Sexual harassment — “inappropriate staring or leering,” “indecent sexual jokes,” “inappropriate invitations to go out on a date” — is now formally classified as sexual violence under EU law, with individual countries steadily feeding ever-broader national definitions into the Eurostat data. Finland, for instance, redefined rape in 2023, instantly inflating its statistics to record a 23% jump in sexual offences in the first nine months alone. What counts as a sexual crime has been steadily, quietly, and deliberately expanded — and a man arriving from Syria or Morocco or Afghanistan is about to get a very expensive education in what Western feminism has done to a statute book.

None of this is to minimise what some of these men have done. Within these statistics are genuine predators — angry, entitled men who brought their contempt for women with them across the Mediterranean and acted on it with devastating consequences for their victims. That story is real and it matters. But within these same statistics are also confused, isolated young men who touched a knee on a bus, stared too long on the tube, made a clumsy pass at a work colleague, sent an unwanted text — and found themselves processed through a criminal justice system they had no framework to understand, for behaviour that in their world carried no moral culpability whatsoever, let alone criminal liability.

The irony — and it is almost too perfect — is that the refugee-welcoming, Greens-voting feminist left are likely the same women who spent decades building the legal machinery now crushing these men. It was built to catch Western men — and has been doing so for decades. The immigrants are just the latest, and least prepared, to stumble into it.

Some years ago, Australia activist Nina Funnell was one of nine finalists in an annual Women of Influence award sponsored by Qantas who wrote a letter of protest to the airline asking it to stop deporting failed asylum seekers. This is the woman who was one of the founders of End Rape on Campus, the organisation responsible for establishing kangaroo courts on our campuses. Quelle surprise!

Looking back on the steady stream of young men I have supported through this horrendous process, I am struck by how many are foreigners, newcomers who are easily targeted when they fail to navigate the confusing sexual climate they encounter on campuses. What haunts me is how rarely we have managed to save them.

Men like Chris, the Malay/Chinese tutor student dismissed by Melbourne university for various trivial accusations like placing a hand on a female student’s shoulder whilst herding students across a busy road. He’s now left the country.

Or Marcus, the Mexican doctor doing post-graduate research at a Sydney university who was suspended after a malicious and false sexual assault accusation. Two years later, a jury took 20 minutes to dismiss the case following a two-week trial. Marcus has given up his medical career.

There are many others — from India, Indonesia, China, across Asia and beyond — too frightened to have their stories told. I have talked to enough of them to know that what destroys these young men is not just the outcome but the process — the speed with which they are presumed guilty, the contempt with which their evidence is dismissed, the ease with which a university can erase years of work and a lifetime of family sacrifice on the basis of one woman’s word.

Kangaroo court is too polite a term. These are conviction machines, built by ideologues and staffed by true believers, where the verdict is decided before the hearing begins. And the cruellest irony of all is that the foreign students caught in them came here trusting that Australia was a country where justice meant something.

Yet in Australia we also see the real risk of importing men with extreme views about women. My good friend Paul Sheehan documented this in Girls Like You (2006) — about Pakistani brothers freshly arrived in Australia, gang-raping schoolgirls. But it was Bilal Skaf, the ringleader of a Lebanese gang whose 2000 attacks on teenage girls shocked the nation, who most nakedly revealed what Islamic contempt for Western women looks like on Australian soil. Bilal remains behind bars. His brother Mohammed was released in 2021 after twenty-one years — still blaming his victims, with not a shred of remorse. He was arrested just the other week for allegedly directing a large-scale cocaine syndicate. Some men don’t change. And our authorities remain determined to look the other way.

Importing large numbers of men raised to regard uncovered women as fair game is not compassionate — it is reckless. Dangerously reckless to the women they encounter — including the indulged Western women who have been taught they can dress and behave as they please, with no consequences. But mass immigration also delivers a very different kind of man — the gentle, disoriented foreign student who stumbles blindly into legal minefields.

A culture that maximises sexual provocation and then criminalises sexual response has no business congratulating itself on its enlightenment. We have lit the fuse, thrown open the borders, and then expressed shock at the body count. The least we can do is stop pretending we don’t know what we’ve done.

Girls get extra school help while boys get Ritalin - "In classrooms nationwide, girls are pulling ahead of boys academically...  little is being done to correct the imbalances. All of the major players — schools, education colleges and researchers — largely ignore the gender gap. Instead of pursuing sound solutions, many educators merely advocate prescribing more attention-focusing Ritalin for the boys, who receive the drug at four to eight times the rate of girls, according to different estimates. "Too often the first reaction to an attention problem is 'Let's medicate,' " says Rockville, Md., child psychologist Neil Hoffman. "Some schools are quick to recommend solutions before they've fully evaluated the problem."   One reason boys are losing academic ground to girls appears linked to a shift by schools to more word-based learning for which girls' brains are believed to have an advantage. Over the years, even math problems have become more word oriented, according to education researchers. But because schools are doing little to help boys adjust, males risk becoming second-class academic citizens. Already the academic success girls enjoy in high school translates into more college acceptances — 56% of the students on campuses are female.  The full impact from this shift is something society has yet to discover. But a drop in earnings for males is one likely result. Workers with only a high school diploma earn $20,000 a year less than those with a bachelor's degree.  One fact explains why educators are ignoring boys' needs: You can't address a problem that you don't admit exists. The U.S. Department of Education concedes that no serious research is available comparing different instructional methods that might help boys. In fact, many education researchers are hostile toward research aimed at exploring gender differences in learning.  Last April, when Kenneth Dragseth, superintendent of schools in Edina, Minn., presented a paper describing his district's gender gap at the American Educational Research Association's annual meeting in Chicago, he says the reception ranged from chilly to hostile. Female education researchers in the audience questioned whether helping boys would mean hurting girls.  Their attitude follows years of lobbying by groups such as the American Association of University Women, which alerted educators to the fact that girls were being shortchanged academically in the fields of math and science. The extra attention helped focus schools on girls' difficulties, but it has made it too easy for educators to overlook the problems of boys. Among them:
•Boys and girls learn differently. The best research on boy-girl learning differences is produced more by accident than by design. The lack of data in this field can hurt girls as much as boys. For instance, as part of an ongoing 20-year dyslexia study focusing on Connecticut schools, Yale neuroscientist and pediatrician Sally Shaywitz discovered that schools were identifying four times as many dyslexic boys as girls. Yet when her team entered schools to screen children, it diagnosed just as many dyslexic girls as boys. Shaywitz found that the mostly female teaching staff was quicker to identify rambunctious boys than quiet girls.  The results are just one example of what might be learned about the role gender plays in education, especially in elementary school, where 85% of teachers are women.
• Future teachers aren't trained to deal with learning differences. Therapist Michael Gurian, author of Boys and Girls Learn Differently!, has visited more than 100 education colleges. But he has not found one that offers courses on male-female brain differences. His discovery explains why many new teachers arrive in classrooms clueless about what teaching techniques might work best for boys' learning styles.
• Boys lack advocates. The special efforts made by schools to steer more girls into advanced math and science classes came after powerful advocacy groups embraced the problem. But Gurian and other advocates for boys say they run into resistance from educators who point to males' success in the workforce as proof that advocacy for boys is unnecessary.
In spite of the lack of research, anecdotal evidence shows that far more effective strategies are available for teaching boys than plying them with Ritalin. Patricia Henley runs a boy-friendly charter school in Kansas that hires many male teachers. It also recognizes boys' natural tendency to favor active learning by conducting more class work on the chalkboard and allowing more student movement within the classroom. And the school trains teachers to deal with boys' particular styles. For instance, because boys volunteer answers more slowly than girls do, teachers are told to count to 10 before calling on a student."
Damn patriarchy! We need to help girls even more!

When Will Feminism Be “Enough”? - "Throughout many of my debates with feminists, I've asked a simple question: “When will you stop fighting? What is going to be good enough for you?” Most of them can't give me an answer. It's not because the question is confusing or unfair, but because they can't admit the flaws of their own movement.  Women are outperforming men on every metric right now: college enrollment, graduate degrees, consumer spending power, social mobility. Yet we still see major influencers like Alex Cooper of Call Her Daddy claiming women are oppressed and will never be as successful as men, while signing a $125 million, three-year deal with SiriusXM. At a certain point, you have to ask: do these women actually want to be oppressed? I'm a social media influencer, and I'm honest enough to admit that I would not be as successful if I were a man. In fact, I've seen men put out very similar messages to mine, but attractive women will always be at an advantage when it comes to media and entertainment. Anyone who denies this is clinging to a victim mentality that has become more valuable than the truth.  Feminists still cite the “gender pay gap” as proof of systemic oppression, despite the fact that it has been debunked so many times I genuinely can't believe it's still used as an argument... This disparity in pay between men and women is not because they're women, but because the jobs women choose are generally lower paying.   But admitting that would undermine one of feminism’s last remaining grievances, so the myth persists. If feminism delivered what it promised, women should be thriving. Instead, the opposite has happened. Despite having more freedom, choice, and opportunity than any generation of women in history, women today are unhappier than ever. Researchers call it the “paradox of declining female happiness,” and it tracks neatly with the paradox of choice, which argues that an overabundance of options leads to anxiety and decision paralysis. Our current culture floods us with the idea that having an endless pool of choices is sexy and cool, but it's only making us more anxious. Ironically, married moms in America are the happiest demographic, as cited by a 2025 report.  But the data only gets more inconvenient for feminists from here. Feminism promised to elevate womanhood. Instead, it erased it. In their effort to "smash the patriarchy" feminists dismantled the very category they claimed to be fighting for. Today, even the most “educated” scholars in our society can't clearly define what a woman is... And the consequences are tangible: biological women are being beaten by male competitors in their own sports and competitions. Both Caitlyn Jenner and Dylan Mulvaney have been named “Woman of the Year” by major publications... The rise of radical individualism alongside feminism has devastated the institutions that hold society together. Traditionally, men's duty to society was to protect women and children. Women’s duty was to bear and care for children. But feminism erased women from any sense of social obligation, replacing duty with the singular pursuit of personal “happiness,” and then placed that happiness on a pedestal above everything else, including the continuation of civilization itself. Based on current U.S. birth rates, deaths are projected to outpace births by 2030. If the trend continues, we are on a trajectory toward demographic collapse within the next few centuries. The anti-suffragettes of the 19th century—women who opposed the passage of the 19th amendment—predicted nearly every crisis I've just described. They predicted the birth rates dropping from an average of 5 children in 1870 to just 2 children by 1940. They predicted the demonization and domination of men. They were also right about what the institution of marriage and family would look like. In 1900, the rate of births outside of marriage was only 4%. By 2010, that number reached 41%.  Even Susan B. Anthony, arguably the most well-known suffragette in history, framed the movement as the result of persistent activism by a committed minority. Many of the foundational rights—property, education, social influence—were already in place by that point, and most women were satisfied, even in 1897.  So what, exactly, was feminism still fighting for? Many feminists today argue that the movement must continue because women and children are still endangered by violent men. But they refuse to admit that their own movement made this worse. Feminism did not keep its promise to protect women and children. In fact, children are in more danger now than before the movement gained full cultural dominance. According to the National Incidence Study, the rate of overall endangerment standard maltreatment for children living with two married biological parents is about 16 per 1,000. The rate for children in all other circumstances is more than 52 per 1,000; the worst cases occurring in one biological parent cohabitating with an unmarried partner. In the U.S., women account for a slight majority of child maltreatment perpetrators—typically around 53% to 56%, compared to roughly 42% to 46% for men. Additionally, children from fatherless homes represent 90% of homeless kids, 85% of kids with behavioral disorders, 70% of kids in juvenile facilities, and 75% of kids in adolescent substance abuse treatment centers.   Feminism told women they didn’t need men and their children paid the price. After a century of organized feminism, women are three times more likely than men to have mental health problems. Children are more at risk for maltreatment than ever. Divorce rates are higher than ever... When you destroy the patriarchy—the very system that has been put in place to protect you—chaos and perversion takes hold. Feminism has ultimately become a vehicle for policies that have harmed the very women and families it claims to champion.  So I'll ask the question again: Will feminists ever admit that their movement made things worse for women? Or will they keep marching, no matter how much wreckage they leave behind?"

Spanish govt study finds huge backslide in people identifying as feminists - especially among young peple! Majority says it's political manipulation. : r/MensRights - "I am familiar with Spanish law and the situation in Spain. It is almost certainly the country where radical feminism has most successfully implanted its misandric ideology in laws and institutions.  Furthermore, the most high-profile radical feminists (led by the former Minister of Equality, Irene Montero) have shown nothing more than that they are out of their minds and completely disconnected from the reality that Spanish youth experience in their daily lives.  I believe this is why they have had the opposite effect on young people, along with the fact that they are now seen as pathetic, hysterical screamers and hypocrites who demand from others what they do not want for themselves.  I hope more data like this continues to emerge, because Spain is certainly the country that most needs to change its gender policies."

Gains in women’s rights haven't made women happier. Why is that? - "Evidence supports the idea that women’s rights and roles in the home in the US and Europe have not moved in step with changes in the workplace. Therefore, because women with jobs often do most of the chores and childcare, they shoulder a dual burden that cuts into their sleep and fun... When the dual burden is carefully measured – as it has been across European countries – the results illustrate the influence that expectations have on how happy we feel. Experiencing the dual burden leads working women in Sweden, for example, to feel more miserable than their counterparts in Greece, probably because Swedes’ expectations around gender equality are more ambitious. (Fewer than 35% of Swedish women do three-quarters of the housework, compared to 81% of Greek women.)... The social history of Switzerland, where women weren’t allowed to vote until 1971, reveals the subtleties of employment expectations on happiness. A decade after Swiss women gained suffrage, the country’s citizens voted in a referendum on whether the constitution should be amended to state that women deserve equal pay for equal work.  Different parts of Switzerland voted very differently. Unsurprisingly, cantons (Swiss states) with a high proportion of votes in favor of the amendment were recorded as having a small gender wage gap some years later. But strangely, working women in areas with strong traditional values – where most people had voted against equal pay – were happier than working women in liberal cantons.  Even though their salaries were further below those of the men around them, the women in more traditional communities were less likely to report discrimination than their countrywomen in more liberal areas. This inside-out result probably arises from different cognitive comparisons. Women in liberal communities are less happy and notice discrimination because they automatically compare their opportunities and salary to everyone else around them, men included"
When you add paid and unpaid work, married men do more work than married women, but the feminists can't accept that. But they are right about expectations - feminism tells women that they're oppressed, so women become unhappy
Clearly traditional women in Switzerland were just stupid and didn't know that they were being oppressed, because discrimination can never be in your head (despite the findings of the Dartmouth scar experiment)

Feminism against Jennifer Love Hewitt - "Many opined that these crude comments and attacks on Hewitt were the inevitable work of patriarchy, of men dominating and humiliating women by holding them to impossible ideals. These patriarchs, we are told, sexualize girls, then scorn them for aging. They dehumanize, reducing the vast subjectivity of a woman to a fleshy body—a mere ornament to be ogled. This is what we might call the feminist thesis of discourse about women. The feminist thesis claims that impossible standards of beauty are weapons of male control, used to denigrate and subjugate. This thesis is widely promoted, especially among educated elites, but it is implausible. The explanation is too simple, too ideologically convenient. A more plausible account must look not to patriarchy, but to two broader, interrelated social trends. First, the second and third feminist revolutions, which emphasized sexual liberation, have exacerbated intrasexual competition among women, where sexual allure becomes a primary instrument for securing status and desirability. Second, these same feminist revolutions have dismantled the reverence for motherhood that once dignified maternal bodies and honored aging women for their roles as caretakers of children and custodians of a civilization’s moral memory. The result is a society in which women are no longer respected for maternal dignity, for gaining weight or aging naturally. Instead, they are compelled to remain sexually alluring as long as possible, using cosmetics, fitness regimens, and eventually surgery in a vain battle against time itself. Competition for youth, thinness, and sexual capital is more intense than ever. The sanctity of motherhood is no longer honored but dismissed as an antiquated norm, a holdover or vestigial organ to be removed or transcended, but certainly not celebrated. Not only is the feminist thesis wrong, it is the opposite of the truth. It is feminism, not patriarchy, that has given rise to the impossible ideals now tormenting ordinary and famous women alike. It is feminism that encourages the barbs that sting aging women with maternal bodies. It is feminism that has vitiated the power of the wise, dignified woman, trading it for the fleeting currency of sexual capital. In many traditional (that is, patriarchal) societies, motherhood, and the plump body that often accompanied it, conferred dignity, not derision. The aging female body, marked by the strains of pregnancy and the labors of childcare, was not treated as an undesirable sexual body but was lifted above sexuality altogether. The Roman matrona exemplified chastity and exercised moral authority, robed in a stola and often commanding the household (domus). She did not compete with younger women for sexual allure; she guided the moral development of her children, inculcating Roman virtues and the ways of the ancestors (mos maiorem). The Victorian “angel in the house” likewise was not a seductress, but a sanctified presence whose maternal role eclipsed the fleeting intrigues of romantic dalliance. Religious iconography reinforces this elevation of motherhood across Western civilization, celebrating Mary and other saints for their uniquely feminine contributions to life. They were depicted not as sexual, but as motherly beauties. Plump, reserved, life-bearing beings.  The cultural reverence for motherhood did not survive the feminist revolutions of the twentieth century. Many feminists rejected the maternal ideal, the “angel in the house,” as repressive, claiming it was a role devised by men to confine women to domestic servitude. In its place, they celebrated the image of the liberated, “autonomous” woman, sexually expressive, economically independent, and freed from the burdens of biology. Feminism rejoiced in the ruin of the sanctified mother and matron. But in shattering what they called the tyranny of motherhood, feminists also destroyed its public dignity. What was once considered the culmination of feminine virtue, the highest expression of woman’s life-bearing gift, became simply a degraded body, a ruined, sagging, and scarred body desperately competing against younger, firmer, more nubile bodies. And the older woman, once celebrated as a matriarch, was now expected to maintain sexual relevance or risk obsolescence. Women fled the putative prison of motherhood only to enter the harsher incarceration of constant sexual competition. The intensity of female sexual competition cannot be explained solely by reference to male preferences or desires. The feminist errs profoundly in dividing the world into men and women, oppressors and oppressed. Women do not, in fact, share many interests and often have more in common with men than with one another. They are not comrades. They are rivals. If homo homini lupus est, then femina feminae vulpes est. Woman is a fox to woman, cunning and covert in her competition. As the status of motherhood declines and the number of sexually liberated competitors increases, the pressure intensifies. Women’s competition is often indirect and psychological rather than physical. They disparage one another’s bodies, mocking flab, scars, wrinkles, not always to please men, but to wound rivals. The goal is twofold. To diminish the other’s sexual status and to erode her confidence. A woman who is timid, insecure, and ashamed is far easier to surpass. She is less of a threat. Indeed, a cynic or a realist might contend that feminism itself is a tactic of intrasexual competition... Traditionalism, whatever its faults, reveres the maternal and discourages ferocious intrasexual competition among women. No, the real source of this cruelty, beyond the ordinary pettiness of human nature, is feminism itself and its long war against the so-called tyranny of motherhood. In the name of liberation, feminism has intensified sexual competition and degraded the mother and the matron. It has encouraged a desperate quest for the fountain of youth, not in the New World, but in the scalpel of the plastic surgeon."

Rothmus 🏴 on X - "The Deputy Prime Minister is reminding everyone that Scotland is a tolerant and inclusive society.  In leftist doublespeak, this means placing this community above the Scottish people.  It shields them from criticism and ignores their wrongdoings because holding any member accountable supposedly stains the entire group, and the community’s sanctity places it above scrutiny.  It also means locals must accommodate every cultural demand, including wearing the hijab apparently (hail Western feminism).   Assimilation is a one-way obligation where you adapt to the newcomers.  They have no duty to adapt to you, because your culture either doesn’t exist or is evil by definition.  Capitulation dressed up as virtue."
Rothmus 🏴 on X - "A tale of two feminisms.   In 2017, during her presidential campaign, Marine Le Pen visited Lebanon.  She was asked to wear a headscarf for her meeting with The Grand Mufti.   She refused, told reporters to pass along her regards, and left without attending.  “You will transmit my regards to the Grand Mufti but I will not wear a veil.”  She pointed out that two years earlier she’d met Egypt’s Grand Imam at Al-Azhar and no veil was required.   She accused the Mufti’s team of trying to present her with a “fait accompli.”  It’s not respect or tolerance or acceptance.  They wanted her wearing the veil as a sign of submission and humiliation.  She did not let them score that point.   Her words: “the headscarf is a symbol of a woman’s submission. I’m not putting it on.”"
If you believe non Muslim women shouldn't be forced to wear hijabs, you're a far right extremist

Fall from grace - "Fifty years ago Erin Pizzey answered the call of the sprouting global Women’s Liberation Movement.  Inspired by the notion of “women coming together for a greater good”, the young London mother sent in her membership fee. Full of anticipation, Pizzey attended her first group meeting only to see her hopes crushed: “There were posters of women waving guns on the walls and posters of Mao,” she recalled. “Communism was not what I expected or wished for, so I was upset from the start.”...   Erin Pizzey became the destitute’s hero, but fellow feminists resented her ways.  “My personal experience of an abusive childhood and my work with the women taught me that domestic violence is not a gender issue,” explained Pizzey. “I learned that both men and women are abusive, but this did not agree with women’s groups who were pushing the oppressive-patriarchy narrative.  “I did a study of the first hundred women that came into the refuge,” Pizzey recalled. “My conclusion was that 62 were as violent, even more violent than the men they left. I wrote the book Prone to Violence about my therapeutic work with violent women and their children, where I spoke of women as perpetrators of violence. That book changed everything. The people involved with the refuge said to me, ‘You can’t write a book about women being violent or else you won’t get any funds’ to which I replied, ‘That’s not the point — the point is the children.’”  The discord culminated at a 1974 church meeting where Pizzey was ousted by the movement she had founded.   “We held a conference in our little church hall, asking other groups to come and join us so that we could share what we’ve all been learning. In came group after group after group of highly organised feminists, who converted themselves into the National Federation of Women’s Aid and took over refuges everywhere. At the church meeting I realised that we were going to be erased,” said Pizzey with marked sadness. “I was cancelled and to this day, fifty years later, I am still airbrushed from their history books.”  The pain of rejection might be eased by the deep gratitude of the many women and grown-up children who contact Pizzey with thanks for the safety and the security they felt at the refuge. “But still, it is hard to feel like a hero when all your work has been destroyed and discredited.”... “The feminists did celebrate in the House of Lords with a huge number of attendees and star studded names,” replied Pizzey. “They celebrated because in 1974 they invaded the little conference and voted themselves into The Women’s Aid Federation. They were welcomed with open arms at the time by the Department of Health and Social Security, partly because most of them were feminists anyway.”  Pizzey was excluded because she rejected what she views as “the false consensus of men as the batterers and women always being on the receiving end”. She was cancelled because she asserted that “domestic abuse is not a gendered issue and that both women and men are abusive”. Pizzey was “airbrushed away” as she calls it, because she committed the ultimate sin in the feminist book — she empathised with men.   “Your cancellation brings to mind Warren Farrell, Bettina Arndt and Jordan Peterson who were castigated for highlighting men’s issues,” I told Pizzey.  “You are right,” she replied, pointing out that Farrell was the darling of the American NOW (National Organisation of Women) until he began to talk about men’s roles.  “To these groups man is the enemy and the patriarchal oppressor,” added Pizzey, “and here lies the difference — they hinge domestic violence on ‘the patriarchy’ where I see it as a human issue; they avoid mixing with men where I made it a point to always have kind, ‘normal’ men at the refuges, as positive male role models for the children.” Pizzey points to “this poisonous ‘patriarchy’” narrative starting in 1969 when the Women’s Liberation Movement came to England. “It was hugely fashionable to call yourself a feminist, after all, we were all told that this is equity feminism and of course we agreed with it; men agreed with equal rights for women too but what they didn’t know was that this was in fact a Trojan horse — from that point on, it was ‘man is the enemy’ which led to the breakup of the family.  “These feminists wanted a movement where women could hear each other’s voices, but like so many good intentions, it was taken over and became a weapon against men and fathers — when people look back historically, they’ll see the last 50 years as the Dark Ages.”   Therapy is key to breaking the cycle of abuse: “You can talk to a woman who has been born into a war between her parents, and has become violent, and tell her ‘look, these are strategies you learned as a child to survive in a very dangerous environment, but there are other ways of dealing with stress and frustration other than going straight from stress to rage’. That’s the work I did in the refuge but unfortunately, it was hijacked by the feminists, who at that point were looking for a just cause and funding — the refuge idea fell into their lap.”"
We are still told that feminism benefits men and that feminists care about men
