Cardinal Dolan: Clinton and Trump were kind to each other - "Trump “turned to Clinton and said, ‘You know, you are one tough and talented woman,’” and Dolan said Trump added, “This has been a good experience -- this whole campaign -- as tough as it’s been.” “Whatever happens, we need to work together afterwards,” Clinton responded, according to Dolan. The two at least shook hands after the dinner, which they have not always been inclined to do after their debates."

Forcing the US cultural context onto Singapore (or, indeed, anywhere else) and then getting offended is cultural imperialism
Naturally the video (as well as The Smart Local's Singaporeans try Indian Snacks one) has been pulled: Banning "offensive" books means no one can judge them by their merits. Pulling "offensive" videos is the same.

Yunomori Onsen & Spa Singapore - Page 6 - Blowing Wind Main Forum - Blowing Wind Forum Home - "Haha omg for those who ask if able to do sexual activity
I think if thats the case, this branch is gonna be having warning just like in bangkok where they warned gay for oogling straight as there are too many complaining already"
"There is a difference between Japanese onsen and gay sauna:
Japanese Onsen: a term for hot spring with bathing facilities and sometimes inn
Gay sauna: a commercial place for men to have sex with other men
So guys, decide what u actually need......"
"Please la those guys who talk about having sex, erections etc. There are tons of other places for that. Respect Yunomori as a genuine onsen and don't equate nudity with sex.
And you wonder why some straights complain about gays when you try to sexualise every place and situation."

Ex-school teacher jailed 12 months for committing indecent acts with pupil, 9 - "A primary school teacher unzipped his pupil's shorts to look at the underwear he had bought him and had separately asked the boy to unzip his pants, exposing his underwear to him"
Underwear is indecent enough to deserve 12 months?

Study: Having daughters makes parents more likely to be Republican - "The daughters effect is considerably stronger among better educated and wealthier parents, they find. But among those farther down the socioeconomic ladder, it weakens to statistical insignificance... The researchers note that their results fly in the face of the few other studies that test the effect of daughters on political attitudes... However, their findings are consistent with a recent study that found boys who grew up with sisters in the house were more likely to identify as adults with the Republican Party"

Monumental mud-pack: Can India's favourite beauty treatment save the Taj Mahal from decay? - "The dome of India’s most iconic monument is about to get a makeover using one of the country’s most popular beauty products: the mud pack"

No evidence activity trackers boost health - ""We don't really find evidence of step increases in the short term, and there's no evidence that there's any health effects in the intermediate term"... A smaller, University of Pittsburgh study published Sept. 20 in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that young adults who paired fitness trackers with diet and physical activity actually lost fewer pounds after two years than a similar group who didn't use the devices."

ECRi Names Facebook 'Privacy Villain of the year' - "Everyone knows revealing personal information is built into Facebook's business model, but now the company has the award to prove it—not that it will want to show it to anybody. The European Digital Rights (EDRi), a coalition of civil rights organizations, awarded the social media giant its “privacy villain of the year” award"

Emma Phillips got vibrator stuck up backside during sex with boyfriend - "when she pressed down on her stomach she felt a buzzing inside her. They tried to remove it using a fork handle and barbecue prongs but all efforts failed."

Merriam-Webster owns SJWs in legendary shitpost | Age Of Shitlords - "The Merriam-Webster dictionary is really turning out to be the dictionary for Shitlords everywhere. Its no secret that Social Justice warrior snowflakes have been trying to invent new words and force them into the dictionary lately. I have no doubt that several dictionaries get bombarded with words like Dragonkin, xerself, xe, fuckkin, shitkin, etc. from people trying to get their bullshit terms recognized. To counter this, the Merriam-Webster dictionary released an Infographic on how a word gets added into the dictionary. The Infographic contains questions like “Are you a special snowflake and this is your special word”? if you answered “YES”, the Infographic tells you “We don’t care”."

Lawsuit: Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer led illegal purge of male workers - "“When Savitt began at Yahoo the top managers reporting to her … including the chief editors of the verticals and magazines, were less than 20 percent female. Within a year and a half those top managers were more than 80 percent female,” the lawsuit said. “Savitt has publicly expressed support for increasing the number of women in media and has intentionally hired and promoted women because of their gender, while terminating, demoting or laying off male employees because of their gender. “Of the approximately 16 senior-level editorial employees hired or promoted by Savitt … in approximately an 18-month period, 14 of them, or 87 percent, were female,” the lawsuit said."

Office of the United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict. Report of Workshop on Sexual Violence against Men and Boys in Conflict Situations - "One study in Liberia found that while 42.3% of women combatants and 9.2% of civilian women had experienced sexual violence during the conflict, the same was true for 32.6% of male combatants and 7.4% of male civilians (Johnson K, Asher J, Rosborough S, et al, Association of Combatant Violence and Sexual Violence, With Health and Mental Health Outcomes in Post-Conflict Liberia, JAMA, 2008; 300-6). Another in DRC provided more qualitative data on the nature of sexual violence against men (Mervyn C, Safari O, Ramzani P, Burnham G, Glass N (2011) Sexual and gender based violence against men in the Democratic Republic of Congo: effects on survivors, their families and the community, Medicine, Conflict & Survival 27:4, 227-246). A Human Rights Watch report in Sri Lanka has demonstrated that repatriated former refugees can also be targets. Although it is often assumed that civilians are the primary victims of sexual violence, and that military structures are populated by perpetrators only, the Liberian case suggests high levels of victims of male- directed sexual violence within military settings. This is echoed in US military reports that in 2012, 53% of reported cases of sexual abuse within the US military were against men... The perpetrators of conflict-related sexual violence against men and boys are generally other men, though cases of abuse by women are also not uncommon; where perpetrators are working in groups, such groups often contain women as well as men"

‘Corporate feminism’ oppresses women. Here’s how - "Evidence shows that an increase in women business leaders has little impact on anyone but the women leaders themselves. It’s a work promotion dressed up as a feminist campaign. This, then, is the issue with framing the under-representation of women among the super-rich as a feminist issue. Economic inequality is indeed a key force in marginalising women, but it’s not because we’re having to remortgage a mansion to pay for a cruise. Rather, women are more likely to be reliant on social security and insecure work, and thus end up hit hardest by austerity measures. We’re more likely to have caring responsibilities and financial dependants but less likely to control the household’s finances. In employment terms, too, there are very real feminist issues to be addressed: cuts to legal aid that disproportionately affect women; the fact that we’re over-represented in the low-paid service industries, or indeed the unpaid domestic one. The plight of wealthy, employed women frustrated in joining what is essentially an elite private members’ club somewhat pales in comparison. If capitalism plays a key role in sustaining gender inequality in all of these ways, it follows that a focus on women in corporate leadership may not just be naive and ultimately useless, but in fact a completely false flag. It’s a mantra that feminism is about nothing more than equality with men, but at its logical conclusion this suggests that the appearance of women in any space currently dominated by men is a success in and of itself. In fact, big corporations and structural inequality are entangled in a symbiotic relationship that will never be addressed by individual women filling the moulds of the men before them. Feminism should challenge this inequality at its roots, rather than simply change its figureheads."
The same is probably true of parachuting women into politics with quotas

Urban Dictionary: STEMlord - "From STEM, an abbreviation short for "Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics", a STEMlord is a pejorative term for a particular kind of person who has studied in these areas at university or works in these fields who holds a pretentious, condescending attitude to anyone who has studied in any other fields, particularly the Arts and Humanities. They typically believe themselves to be more "intelligent" and "rational", while generally remaining incredibly ignorant outside of their areas of expertise and having the charisma of a rotting pig's backside."

Alison Saunders should be sacked – for the Janner case, and for her absurd views on rape - "I am a victim of rape. I don’t think I’ve ever told anyone that before. But that’s probably because I never thought of myself as a victim. Until now. The crime happened years ago in my early twenties when, after a drunken night out, I ended up in bed with a man and we had sex... according to the Director of Public Prosecutions, Alison Saunders, I am a rape victim and that drunken horny bloke is an alleged rapist. Even though neither of us thinks a crime has taken place, Ms Saunders is adamant that she wants justice to be done in the wake of every drunken sexual encounter that turns sour the morning after the night before. She has instructed the Crown Prosecution Service that unless a man can prove a woman has consented, and unless he can be sure that she was not too drunk to give that consent, then he is effectively guilty of rape until proven innocent in a court of law."

Apophallation - "During courtship, two slugs will circle each other, often for hours, with both partners engaged in ritualized bouts of lunging, nipping, and sideswiping with their tails. The two slugs may also display their disproportionately large sex organs. The great gray garden slug's penis is nearly half its total body length. In fact, penis size is reflected in the scientific name of one banana slug species: dolichophallus -- Latin for "long penis"... After long bouts of writhing and pulling, the pair may resort to what scientists call apophallation. Translated, this means that one slug gnaws off the penis of the other."

You don't need much space to have sex: Josephine Teo on ‘no flat, no child’ belief - "You do not need much space to have sex. That was the feisty rejoinder from Senior Minister of State Josephine Teo, who oversees the National Population and Talent Division, to a question on whether young people are not getting their flats early enough to have children. The suggestion was that this could be a chicken-and-egg problem. To qualify for the Parenthood Priority Scheme, which gives first- time married couples first dibs on getting a flat, they must be expecting or have a citizen child below 16 But to have a child, some say they need to have a flat first. With a straight face, Mrs Teo declared: "You need a very small space to have sex.""

Study: Women's Brains Are More Sensitive To Negative Emotions; React Differently Than Men's - "“Not everyone’s equal when it comes to mental illness,” said Adrianna Mendrek, researcher at the Institut Universitaire En Santé Mentale de Montréal, in a recent press release. “Greater emotional reactivity in women may explain many things, such as their being twice as likely to suffer from depression and anxiety disorders to men”... women reported being more reactive to the emotional images. Meanwhile, higher levels of testosterone were most frequently associated with lowered sensitivity to the images, while higher estrogen levels, regardless of the person’s sex, almost always meant increased sensitivity... The researchers explained that the reactions of amygdala and the dmPFC say a lot about how a person processes emotion. The amygdala is known as the part of the brain that detects threat, and often fires when a person is exposed to fear or sadness, while the dmPFC helps process social interactions and mediates perception, emotions, and reasoning. “A stronger connection between these areas in men suggests they have a more analytical than emotional approach when dealing with negative emotions,” said Stéphane Potvin, associate professor at the University of Montreal’s Department of Psychiatry. “It is possible that women tend to focus more on the feelings generated by these stimuli, when men remain somewhat ‘passive’ toward negative emotions, trying to analyze the stimuli and their impact.”"

North American Indigenous Warfare and Ritual Violence - "Despite evidence of warfare and violent conflict in pre-Columbian North America, scholars argue that the scale and scope of Native American violence is exagerated. They contend that scholarly misrepresentation has denigrated indigenous peoples when in fact they lived together in peace and harmony. In rebutting that contention, this groundbreaking book presents clear evidence—from multiple academic disciplines—that indigenous populations engaged in warfare and ritual violence long before European contact. In ten well-documented and thoroughly researched chapters, fourteen leading scholars dispassionately describe sources and consequences of Amerindian warfare and violence, including ritual violence. Originally presented at an American Anthropological Association symposium, their findings construct a convincing case that bloodshed and killing have been woven into the fabric of indigenous life in North America for many centuries. The editors argue that a failure to acknowledge the roles of warfare and violence in the lives of indigenous North Americans is itself a vestige of colonial repression—depriving native warriors of their history of armed resistance. These essays document specific acts of Native American violence across the North American continent. Including contributions from anthropologists, archaeologists, historians, and ethnographers, they argue not only that violence existed but also that it was an important and frequently celebrated component of Amerindian life."

Jesus Cures Diabetes

A combination of so many types of woo I lost track:

From: D.C.Christian Coalition

"Bible Scholars unearth lost teachings of Jesus. Now, experts believe this discovery could forever change the way we fight disease. See the discovery here.

The trillion-dollar pharma industry is WORRIED SICK over this discovery

Theyd thought they were safe

And that folks like us had forgotten about these secret teachings of Jesus

To be honest, they were mostly right

But that was before a renowned biblical scholar rediscovered what are probably Jesuss most important teachings

Teachings that show us how to combat virtually any disease

And do it without the use of drugs, medications, or expensive procedures.

Click here to see the Lords specific disease-fighting instructions now.

That link takes you to a short presentation by the scholar

And tells you everything you need to keep yourself and your loved ones in good health for decades to come.

Check out the presentation now before these corporate medicine cartels get it taken down.
