And when he purported to draw on scripture, the scripture bore him out. That’s why, even though he was physically unable to carry out actions useful to a jihad, he nevertheless exercised profound influence and commanded authority over jihadists. Doctrine matters to our enemies. Which is why it should matter to us... In the main, the plan is to exploit the West’s — particularly Europe’s — lax border security, generous social welfare regimes, and cultural self-loathing to forge Islamic enclaves. When the Muslim population gets to a critical mass (which need not be large; 5 percent of the population is more than enough if it’s sufficiently compact and aggressive), it seeks to take de facto control of neighborhoods — to the point, often, of making them “no-go” zones for the authorities. The aim of this deliberate adverse possession is to establish the enclave’s “right” to govern its affairs under sharia and to impose fundamentalist mores. - Vehicle theft down 80%.
What changed:
1. State troopers took over interstate patrol, freeing up local officers.
2. Police launched focused initiatives targeting fugitives, violent repeat offenders, and gang members.
3. National Guard, federal agents, and US Marshals came in and made 9,000+ arrests, including 400+ gang members. Plus 629 illegal firearms seized, 150 missing children located.
4. Technology filled the gaps. Police deployed license plate readers citywide, expanded drone use, and opened a downtown command center. A cancer center went from a crime attempt every other week to none.
Overall crime is now down more than 43% compared to the same period last year Memphis has a long way to go and remains a dangerous city. Its DA is still dismissing 3 out of every 4 felony cases. In fact, the state legislature just passed a bill to audit and potentially remove him. But the city is showing that a rogue DA doesn't have to be a death sentence for public safety. Flood the streets with law enforcement, target repeat offenders, and make arrests faster than he can dismiss them."

I was a Sergeant in Brooklyn.  My team was working on a pattern of vehicle break ins occurring in a neighborhood. The night before, I changed our tour to put cops in the area at the exact time the crimes were happening.  Late that night we spotted a guy walking down the block, peeking into car windows and checking door handles.  At one point he stopped, pulled out a blunt, and started smoking marijuana right on the street. When he finished, he put it in his pocket and kept walking and continued casing vehicles.  I had a young cop with me who was new to plainclothes work. He attempted to jump the guy too early, and we got made before we had enough to charge the individual for a car break in.  So I made the call.  We locked him up for smoking marijuana in public, which allowed us to identify him and search him for property connected to other break ins from the pattern.   This also gave us an opportunity to see if he would confess to the prior crimes or give us intelligence related to those and other crimes.   He didn’t have anything on him, and he didn’t confess or give us any info but that night there were no car break ins and the pattern died after that arrest.  The next day I was called into my Commanding Officer’s office.  Instead of asking about the crime pattern, I got a lecture about not locking up “black and brown people” for marijuana because they are locked up at disproportionate rates for this specific offense.  I remember responding:  “Black and brown people are locked up at disproportionate rates for major crimes like Rape and Robbery also, are you suggesting I only lock up white people?”  He told me I should use more discretion for minor offenses.  I told him:  “I didn’t lock him up for marijuana. I locked him up for breaking into cars. Marijuana was just the only charge I had at the moment.”  I also stated that he wasn’t just a dumb kid smoking marijuana, he had a lengthy criminal history and I observed him engaging in current criminal behavior.  I walked out of that office confused.  I remember thinking: How far is this not well thought out ideology going to go?  Now, more than a decade late, we have the answer."

Another Walgreens Is Closing in Chicago—Blame Criminals, Not the Company - "Walgreens is pulling out of Chicago’s South Side, home to some of the city’s most crime-ridden areas. The closure of a store in the city’s Chatham neighborhood, set for June 4, marks the seventh Walgreens location to shut down on the South Side in the past year.  Who’s to blame for this departure? Chicago Alderman William Hall, who represents Chatham as part of Ward 6, blames the company. Walgreens, he said, should be charged with “first-degree corporate abandonment” for creating a “medicine drought,” and he even accused it of committing a “pharmaceutical genocide.” (It’s particularly rich that Hall is now castigating Walgreens for closing, given that he hadn’t been happy about Walgreens opening, alleging it “ran out” small, local businesses.) Hall is right to be concerned that residents and seniors with chronic health conditions may suffer. But criminals, not corporations, are to blame for the closures. Strengthening both policing and prosecution of property crimes is the key to bringing Walgreens and other businesses back to the South Side. Thieves broke the locks, leaped over counters to steal liquor and cigarettes, and assaulted workers... even in its difficult circumstances, Walgreens is doing far more to serve vulnerable residents than is Chatham’s own alderman. The company is reaching out to local customers to explain how they can receive their prescriptions by mail and offering free delivery for seniors. It has made its Chatham employees eligible to transfer to other stores, where, one hopes, they won’t have to fear as much for their safety.  Meantime, Alderman Hall did not even bother to show up for this month’s town hall, according to residents. Two-tier policing of protests is REAL: Damning report into the Met calls for Labour mayor Sadiq Khan to be stripped of control - "Two-tier policing of protests is 'not merely a perception but a reality' in Britain's biggest force, a damning report has revealed.  Scotland Yard is prioritising the rights of demonstrators over the ordinary public, failing to make arrests and treating some protest groups more leniently, which may lead the public to believe 'the forces of law and order have lost control of the streets and yielded control to a mob,' according to a new assessment.  A report by the think tank Policy Exchange has called for the Metropolitan Police to be put back into 'special measures' due to its failure to handle protests properly and tackle runaway rates of mobile phone thefts, burglary and shoplifting.  In a stark assessment of the Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley's three years in office, the report points to public confidence in the force falling to an all-time low as many residents and visitors believe 'there is a culture of impunity to crime in London'.  It comes as the force is solving only a tiny fraction of thefts, identifying the culprit in merely 1 in 20 robberies and burglaries, 1 in 13 shoplifting offences and 1 in 179 street muggings.  Now the Policy Exchange wants London Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan to be stripped of responsibility for the Met's oversight, saying the Home Secretary should be given the power to ensure the force's performance improves. Entitled 'A Long, Long Way To Go', the report criticises the force for choosing 'to prioritise the rights of protestors over the rights of the wider public' and accuses officers of doing more to protect Muslims over the Jewish community in various demonstrations. It says: 'With the apparently differential treatment of different groups based on either the cause of the protest or the identity of those protesting, it has become increasingly clear that "two-tier policing" is not merely a perception but a reality.  'This inconsistent application of police powers and the law is perhaps one of the most troubling aspects of modern policing – a factor which has seriously damaged policing's reputation for fairness in the eyes of many.'  In one example cited, the force applied for 'very stringent conditions' in a United Kingdom Independence Party protest in Tower Hamlets on October 25, on the grounds that the area had the largest percentage of Muslim residents in the UK and the protest caused 'significant concern locally'... 'If the rationale for the force's decision is because they feared public disorder from those resisting the protest it is tantamount to an admission that 'mob-rule' has taken priority over the rule of law – an unacceptable state of affairs.'  The report also found: 'Too often police choose to prioritise the rights and freedoms of protestors over the rights of ordinary people going about their daily lives', with officers failing to arrest those committing criminal damage or shouting 'jihad' at pro-Palestinian rallies.  It called for the Met to face an inspection on its approach to protests, saying there needs to be transparency about decision-making. Elsewhere, the Policy Exchange suggested officers and staff be measured on crime fighting, with those failing to deliver being removed from their posts.  In the latest public survey, only 45 per cent of Londoners believe the force is doing a good job, down from 69 per cent in 2016.  Police station front counters have shut at a record rate, with just two set to remain open 24 hours a day in a city of 9 million people... I haven't been told I'm being charged with anything.  I'm really worried about this here. I know this is my own fault but what should I expect to happen? Can I maybe write a letter of apology to the hospital?"

Hatfield suggests that the primary mode of intimacy in Canada and the United States is hypergamy. Once again, he blames capitalism for this state of affairs, leaning heavily on Karl Marx’s “Communist Manifesto” and using terms like “bourgeois,” “proletarians” and “lumpenproletariat” throughout. He complains about bankers, merchants and businessmen. He argues that monogamy simply proved to be less profitable for the bourgeois than hypergamy. Surprisingly, Hatfield writes, “Women, though their behaviour can be very hurtful, are generally not at fault for things, nor are most of their male partners.” Instead, he insists, “It is the highly powerful and influential people — favoured males or otherwise — along with their most loyal, vile and crucial accomplices who are at fault for everything.” He then lists two classes of targets. Class A includes individuals like powerful CEOs, billionaires and elite bankers. Chillingly, it also includes places where they should be attacked, like conferences and corporate headquarters, echoing the alleged murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson by Luigi Mangione, who some on the left consider a hero. Class B includes individuals like drug dealers, pedophiles and creators of depraved content, like porn... Hatfield then writes about “permanent revolution” and the “preservation of the future order.” Again, he draws on Marx for his future vision of a world without hypergamy: the abolition of private property without compensation, the centralization of credit in a state bank, a planned economy and full state control over transportation and communications. Disturbingly, he ends by encouraging readers to use blades, bombs, guns or all of the above to attack the people and places on his list, advising them to: “Be unflinching, go forth, and KILL THEM ALL!” Is Hatfield an incel? In some respects, yes. But his violent, ideological bent is unarguably communist."
