What they really mean when they say ‘dog whistle’ - "Not for the first time, the government is being accused of engaging in racist ‘dog whistle’ politics. And also not for the first time, the charge is complete nonsense and reveals far more about the fetid imaginations of the government’s critics than it does about the government itself.  You might remember that, in December, MPs and commentators were up in arms after a government source said Angela Merkel would rather make the UK ‘crawl across broken glass’ than give concessions in the Brexit negotiations. This, they screeched, was a clear invocation of Kristallnacht, which it quite clearly wasn’t.  Now, in the seemingly never-ending row over knee-taking in football, we might just have an even more absurd example. This is the idea that Boris Johnson, in failing to condemn those fans who booed footballers taking the knee, and Priti Patel, who criticised the BLM-inspired pose as ‘gesture politics’ at the start of the European Championship, are responsible for the racist online abuse suffered by black players in the wake of England’s loss in the final on Sunday... There is a lot of nonsense to unpack here. First on the agenda is this idea that Priti Patel, our Indian-heritage home secretary, is beloved by the nation’s racists, that the feeling is apparently mutual, and that she is always on the lookout for opportunities to nod and wink at them. Once again Patel seems to have been denied her ethnic-minority identity because she happens to dissent from the identitarian view of things.  Then there’s the suggestion that criticising a particular ‘anti-racist’ stunt or tactic equates to siding with racism – as if there is no debate to be had about how best to stand up to prejudice, and no possibility that some methods are more meaningful and less divisive than others. This is a particularly slippery argument given much of what passes for ‘anti-racist’ activism today is actually just racial identity politics, pushing a bleak, racialised agenda.  But let’s dwell for a moment on that phrase ‘dog whistle’, because it reminds us of the most acceptable prejudice in elite circles today – that is, hatred of the working class"

Meme - "COLORADO SCHOOLS: Gadsden Flag *No*
COLORADO SCHOOLS: Full Body Furry Suits *Yes*"
Liberals will still pretend that furries in schools is fake news despite proof it's happening

Meme - Liberal teacher: "LET'S REVIEW. BUTTPLUGS AND DILDOS ARE FOR PLAY. PACKERS ARE FOR CREATING A PENILE BULGE IN..."
*Sees backpack with Based, Gadsden Flag, Doge, Bitcoin badges*
YOU CAN'T BRING THAT INTO THE CLASSROOM"
For reference, since liberals will definitely try to gaslight and pretend this never happened

Dean of Chicago school says students shown dildos, butt plugs while teaching about queer sex - "The dean of an elite school in Chicago has been caught on video openly discussing how students as young as 14 were handed dildos and butt plugs during 'comprehensive' sex education classes.    In the video, Joseph Bruno, 41, told an undercover reporter from the conservative news website Project Veritas that the school aims to teach students at the Francis W. Parker School all about queer sexual intercourse.   'During Pride — we do a Pride Week every year – I had like our LGBTQ+ Health Center come in. They were passing around butt-plugs and dildos to my students — talking about queer sex, using lube versus using spit,' Bruno says. He also disclosed that a drag queen had been invited into the classroom, who took photos with the children and handed out cookies... 'The kids are just playing with 'em, looking at 'em… They're like, 'How does this butt-plug work? How do we do – like, how does this work?' That's a really cool part of my job,' he says.   When the man filming asks if everyone is 'cool' with that and if he has received any complaints, Bruno simply responds no.   And when the Project Veritas reporter goes on to ask if parents - who pay fees of $40,000 to send their children to the school - might be worried if they found out, he says: 'No, it's queer sex.'... The Project Veritas member follows up by saying: 'You have so much freedom, so much wiggle room - to which Bruno responds: 'So much freedom. So much money to do stuff.'   When asked if the trustees were okay with it, Bruno claimed he hadn't told other school administrators about the sexual objects being shown to the students.   'They don't know,' Bruno states. 'I wouldn't even like run it by them. Like, why would I run it by them? They would be like, "Oh my God, that's wonderful,"' he continues.   In a statement, Francis W. Parker officials told DailyMail.com they are committed to providing high school students with a comprehensive and 'LGBTQ+ affirming' education... They continued, stating that Project Veritas had tricked Bruno into speaking.   Officials said Bruno believed he was describing the school's approach to sex education with another educator... 'Veritas deceptively edited the video with malicious intent'"
Private school defends dean who introduced class to sex toys and 'queer sex' (ABC 4 News mirror, since liberals believe if the Daily Mail says the earth is round, that means it's flat)
Of course, the liberal response is to celebrate it, then shoot the messenger and blame Project Veritas for publishing the video, and pretend that "deceptive editing" could amount to this. Literally "this is not happening, and it's good that it is"

Will weapon detectors at Salt Lake high schools disproportionally affect students of color? - "Salt Lake City high schools will begin staffing weapon detectors after fall break. But some parents and a few Salt Lake City School Board members worry the technology may have an outsized impact on students of color... "The only reason that a student will be stopped is if the machine beeps — that is independent of what the student looks like, who they are, what gender, what race or ethnicity. In terms of students being targeted more from a particular demographic over another, that won't happen because it's an objective beep machine that'll be the cause for a stop of any student," she said.  "The goal is to make sure that we're using every tool in our arsenal to keep students safe, but can't come at the cost of making them feel unsafe in other ways, of course. So we're we're taking that into account."... "I oppose it because the data shows that this type of hardening offers virtually zero protection against school-based violence," Anderson said during a meeting approving the contract. "But what I'm even more worried about is the body of public health and police deescalation research that shows unsworn officers — like those in the contract with PalAmerica — risk the escalation of violence, specifically for people of color."  PalAmerican declined to answer questions about how its security officers are trained and whether that training includes topics like implicit bias. However, the firm's website claims its security training is typically two to three times longer and more extensive than competitors and that officers receive education- and minor-specific training.  "Our students are already under so much stress," Baayd said. "Walking through a weapon detector is emotionally exhausting. I am speaking from my own experiences. I walk through TSA and I have to prepare myself two days in advance and worry if that weapon detector or that scanner goes off. ... And also I'm thinking about the minority kids who come from the refugee world, from places of war and then they would have to walk in through this and if it beeps, it's a nightmare. I don't know how to explain it to you.""
Those convicted for murder are disproportionately people of colour. Therefore making murder illegal is racist. Murder should be decriminalised

We're Not the Thought Police - "The audio records the visit by a couple of British police officers to the home of a British subject who had apparently been reported to the authorities for posting anti-Islam comments on social media. The householder in question greeted the cops with surprising – perhaps nervous? – cheeriness, and for a half hour he earnestly, willingly, and good-humoredly answered their indefensibly intrusive and insulting questions about his opinions. Among them: What were his political beliefs? What did he think of Islam? Did he hate Muslims? Was he a racist? Was he a Nazi?  It quickly became clear that this man – whose name we never learn, unless I missed something – is anything but a racist or Nazi or hater of any kind. On the contrary, he is a thoughtful citizen who, after considerable study, has come to some sensible conclusions about Islam... even as he spelled out these indisputable truths about Islam, the police officers responded as if he was imagining it all. They suggested that he might want to sit down for a conversation with an Islamic scholar, who could clear up what they seemed determined to view as his misunderstandings. They insisted, moreover, that they were not the Thought Police – even though there is no other word for police officers who show up at the home of an innocent citizen to interrogate him about his personal opinions.  A couple of reader comments on the Jihad Watch audio suggested it was fake, on the grounds that police officers in a free country would surely never do such a thing. Wrong. For me, the audio brought back vivid memories – for I’ve had my own very similar encounter with European policemen. My experience was slightly different in that instead of being visited at home, I was summoned to a local police station in Norway, where I live. But the encounter itself, which took place in January 2014, was strikingly similar to the one recorded on the Jihad Watch audio. My interrogators even assured me, as their British colleagues assured the fellow in the audio, that they were not the Thought Police. When I heard that statement on the audio, I couldn’t help wondering: are cops around Europe, even in different countries, working off of the same script?    Immediately after returning home from my visit to the police station back in January 2014, I sat down and typed up everything I could remember about the exchange I’d had with my new uniformed friends. The conversation had been in Norwegian, and I wrote it out in Norwegian. I sent copies to a few friends of mine, including Hans Rustad, editor of the vitally important Norwegian website document.no, who, in response, told me that he had heard similar, and equally disturbing, accounts from other people living in Norway. He actually took a copy of my testimony with him to a meeting at the Norwegian Ministry of Justice, where he confronted officials with this example of thoroughly inappropriate police conduct...   In a slightly irritated tone, one of the two men reminded me that during the first hours after the government buildings in Oslo were bombed, that is before Breivik was identified and before his motives were known, many people in Oslo had assumed that the city was under attack by Muslim terrorists, and that this had resulted in people assaulting Muslims in the streets. [Note: I have never seen any documentation of this claim.] One of PST’s concerns, he said, was that if a Norwegian Muslim committed a murder like the horrible killing of Lee Rigby in London, there would be a violent anti-Muslim reaction. [They always worry more about the anti-Muslim “backlash” that virtually never happens than about the actual Islam-motivated atrocity.]   My interlocutors had read Breivik’s “manifesto.” They talked about his patchwork of plagiarized historical essays and information about weapons in a way that suggested that, in their eyes, it was a key document for the understanding of the counterjihad movement.  “Have you read the Koran?” I asked.  “No,” both of them said. They were not at all embarrassed about it.  “Well, you should,” I said. “If you want to understand the mentality that underlies Islamic terrorism, you’ll find its origin there.“  One of them answered quickly. “We know that radical Muslims have misinterpreted the Koran.“... they seemed to find it distasteful to talk about the Koran in this way... bobbies in Britain (apparently Lancashire), like my PST buddies in Norway, have been trained to view Islam as essentially benign and criticism of Islam as a danger. Both sets of cops manifestly consider it part of their job to hunt down critics of Islam and try to intimidate them into silence. And none of them have the slightest regard whatsoever for freedom of speech. They don’t even seem to grasp the concept.  They’ve also apparently been taught – and this is the creepiest part – to emphasize that they’re not Thought Police. This is obviously a result of training, because it would never occur independently to such people – who have plainly never read a word of Orwell – to make such a declaration in the first place. This, then, is what we are up against in today’s western Europe: police departments that are producing Thought Police – and, as part of that production process, are instructing them to reassure the proles that, no, of course they’re not Thought Police.  Sure. And war is peace, freedom is slavery, and ignorance is strength."

Warner Bros. on X - "We celebrate LGBTQ+ artists, employees & fans and are proud of our stories that represent the LGBTQ+ experience, but acknowledge we have more to do. We are committing to tell more, authentic LGBTQ+ stories, nurture queer talent & harness our resources to advocate for equality."
Fantastic Beasts 3 Gay Dialogue Removed in China, Warner Bros Explains - "References to a gay relationship in “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” were edited out of the movie by Warner Bros. for the film’s release in China"
LGBT Groups And Warner Bros. Silent After Sexual Content Stripped From ‘Friends’ In China - "The Daily Caller News Foundation reached out to Warner Bros. concerning the details of its licensing agreement with PRC streaming platforms, but the company did not respond to request for comment. DCNF also contacted LGBT activist groups GLAAD and Human Rights Campaign, however they too did not make themselves available for comment...   As the series took as its premise the interlocking love lives of six people, the censorship of the PRC’s episodes of “Friends” has drastically altered the show, as topics such as strip clubs and orgasms have been harmonized, and several LGBT scenes and whole plot lines have been erased."

Threat of Animal Rights Violence Influenced Decision to Cancel Anthrax Project - "a commotion erupted over a canceled anthrax project at Oklahoma State University (OSU), Stillwater. The National Institutes of Health had agreed to fund the study, which involved creating an animal model of anthrax infection in baboons, and the university's animal use and care committee had given it the green light. But OSU President Burns Hargis decided that the project would not be allowed on campus, for reasons that weren't immediately clear... attacks by animal rights extremists have been on the rise in the United States in recent years."
Damn far right!

Can we ever be on the right side of history? - "Lincoln understood slavery “must” exist as a result of the Providence of God. This idea seems incomprehensible to a contemporary tourist. But it was such a central tenant of Lincoln’s thought that it found its way into the very Inaugural Address featured inside the Memorial itself...   If there is one force in nineteenth-century American Protestantism that shaped the nation’s response to the ills of slavery, it is the idea of God’s Providence. The thinking goes that because an event happens, God must have allowed it, and therefore, in a subtle way, approves it... If Providence is the great blindness of the nineteenth century, then our view of “history” may be the twenty-first’s. “History” is that mysterious force to which we keep referring, in so far as we want to be on the “right” side of it. We view history as a dividing line between heroes and villains, people to be revered or “cancelled.” History is the composite of our collective actions, looming over us ready to make a verdict.   Our relationship to “history,” like that of our forbears’ to Providence, corrupts our sense of personal agency. For Lincoln and Lee, inaction in the face of oppression; for us, a swing to the other side entirely, with many Americans, especially those in the Antifa and woke camps, believing that the present moment is the vantage point from which they can view history with accuracy. Not just history, but the present, too.  But anyone who believes it is possible to make an appropriate judgment from the present is suffering from a form of blindness, an inability to accept the fact that we are embedded in the narrative of history at this very moment, incapable of stepping outside of it enough to see things entirely.  Because the problem with history is that it is not linear. It is a tangled interplay of contemporary discoveries with objects, events and personalities of the past."

Attack of the Alphabet People - "The most powerful effect a work of art can have is to elicit the sensation of recognition within its audience, to verbalize or visualize or put into music those innermost emotions you thought were yours alone, and by doing so chip away at the barriers we have constructed between us—as man and woman, Black and white, Jew and gentile, heterosexual and homosexual. Think of the stand-up comedian who can make a room filled with people of different races, political views, and ages roar with laughter, or the musician who brings a concert hall to its feet in shared ecstasy. That a movie targeted at teenagers about a gay kid, based upon a work written by a heterosexual woman, could touch a 34-year-old gay man so deeply was, to me at least, one reason for optimism in this otherwise dreadful period of human history... Albertalli was being accused of “writing shitty queer books for the straights, profiting off of communities I had no connection to” and being “the quintessential example of allocishet inauthenticity,” a term I had to look up... “This doesn’t feel good or empowering, or even particularly safe. Honestly, I’m doing this because I’ve been scrutinized, subtweeted, mocked, lectured, and invalidated just about every single day for years, and I’m exhausted.” The whole essay reads like a hostage note.  If Albertalli’s literary work had me crying tears of joy, this missive left me feeling physically ill. For here was a critical mass of LGBTQ people, who should know the effects of bullying better than most, persecuting a woman whose “allyship” with our “community,” such as it is, has been compelling, compassionate, and deeply meaningful... The fact that a straight woman could produce a literary work with which so many gay people identified makes it laudable in its own right... An entire genre of writing composed by straight women envisioning homosexual relationships between male characters from popular cinema and television franchises—“Slash fiction”—has existed ever since some imaginative female Star Trek fans began creating homoerotic fantasies involving Captain Kirk and Spock. I have absolutely no interest in reading any of it, but if it makes the people who create and consume it even slightly more empathetic toward gay men, which I can’t help but imagine it does, why on earth would I demand that they relinquish “ownership” of “my” story? Rather than embrace the totalitarian logic of #ownvoices—an internet-based campaign devoted to the noxious catechism that only writers from marginalized groups may “represent” characters from said groups in their work, and which by interrogating people over their sexual orientation has brought the tactics of J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI to the realm of young adult fiction—we should be encouraging straight writers to create gay characters, gentile writers to create Jewish characters, Jewish writers to create Black characters, and so on through each and every imaginable permutation of human identity. To insist otherwise would usher in nothing less than a system of literary apartheid.  Yet the campaign of vilification directed toward Becky Albertalli is just the latest example of how authoritarian attitudes and tactics have become commonplace within LGBTQ spaces, itself a stark departure from the American gay tradition which had always emphasized individual autonomy... Now that it has achieved those freedoms and a cultural influence once thought impossible, much of what passes for gay activism today is driven by an impulse which is the very opposite of freedom: control. Gay people fought for a tolerant and open society. Now, many of us pour our energy and organizational resources into getting people who disagree with us fired, suing wedding photographers who decline their services on religious conscience grounds, and assailing heterosexual young adult novelists who have the gall to create relatable gay characters... A group which can proudly boast Oscar Wilde, Fran Lebowitz, Camille Paglia, James Baldwin, Gore Vidal, and Lily Tomlin as cultural icons is increasingly characterized by the hectoring “post-comedy” of Hannah Gadsby, the abstruse theories of the parodical Judith Butler, and the vengeful social media hordes who tsk-tsk Caitlyn Jenner for claiming “Dude looks like a lady” as her “theme song” and condemn RuPaul—who has done more to challenge and subvert gender norms than possibly any human being alive—for making the simple, and true, observation that drag performance “loses its sense of danger and its sense of irony once it’s not men doing it.”... one such icon, John Waters, gave a little-noticed interview to a local Washington, D.C., gay magazine. “Liberals are as big fascists as the Republicans,” the self-described “Filth Elder” said. “Because they never think that anybody wouldn’t agree with them. And I’m a bleeding heart liberal.”... “I thought you went to college to have your values challenged,” he added. “I thought that was the point of education.” Waters also confesses to reading The Wall Street Journal editorial page every day because “I want to read how smart people I don’t agree with think.”... If gay people wish to secure and enjoy the freedoms we’ve achieved for ourselves, we must take care to extend them to others."
The woke keep claiming that wokeness is about empathy, but besides not having any empathy with the "privileged", they also believe empathy is impossible, so identity is paramount (e.g. in going on about "representation). Ironic
The "myth" of the slippery slope strikes again. Gay marriage being rammed through did not just result in trans mania - it also resulted in the weaponisation of homosexuality

Lawyer for Black girls 'ignored' by Rosita at Sesame Place demands park pay their mental health bills - "After a video of a costumed figure at Sesame Place refusing to high-five two black children went viral, many stepped in to hold the representatives of the children's theme park accountable... The theme park responded by saying that the park stands for "inclusivity and equality in all forms," and that it does not tolerate any behavior in the parks that is contrary to that commitment. The statement read, "Our brand, our park and our employees stand for inclusivity and equality in all forms. We do not tolerate any behavior in our parks that is contrary to that commitment. Regarding the incident yesterday, the costumes our performers wear sometimes make it difficult to see at lower levels and sometimes our performers miss hug requests from our guests."... "The only acceptable action is for this performer to be terminated. No other kid should go through what these kids went through.""
These are the people who go on about "white fragility"

Lawyer: Only explanation of Sesame snubbing girls is racism
When the only tool you have is a hammer...

Theme parks were not meant for Black families: why racism at Sesame Place is part of a shameful tradition
Liberals always dig up ancient history, then get upset when you point out the Democratic Party was the party of slavery and Jim Crow (they also mock those who point out the wrongs that covid hysteria led to, claiming they're idiots because all that is over - though they keep going on about slavery themselves)

ELDER: Don't confuse Sesame Place with Jim Crow | Toronto Sun - "There’s a lot we don’t know. Who was in the costumes? Were Black kids intentionally mistreated? But let’s assume that these Black kids were, in fact, snubbed because of their race. How these kids deal with this slight will be entirely dictated by their parents.  Does Rosita reflect “systemic racism,” a microcosm of Blacks’ second-class status? Or do the parents teach their children to put this incident in perspective by instructing their kids that not everybody behaves properly, and that people like that win if you become bitter and view life through race-tinted glasses?...   Meanwhile, in 2021 Philadelphia had a record number of homicides, and this year is on track to exceed last year’s number. Most of the perps and victims are Black. While nationwide about 10% of American families have their kids in private school, a 2004 study by the Fordham Institute found that 44% of Philadelphia government schoolteachers with school-age kids put them in private schools.   Recent videos show a Black toddler attempting to strike Black Minneapolis police officers, with one little kid calling a Black cop an “Oreo.” A Black 16-year-old with a criminal record who fought violently with an NYPD officer in a subway station was released in less than 24 hours. He asked the judge whether he could press charges against the cops. As for Baltimore, the hometown of the family that filed the lawsuit, 2017 tests show 13 public high schools in Baltimore where 0% of students were math proficient and another half-dozen where only 1% were math proficient.  Has Jesse Jackson said a word about any of this?"
Looks like Philadelphia public teachers know something about their schools that other liberals don't

Inconvenient Fact About Mass Killings: White Males Are 'Underrepresented' While Blacks and Asians Are 'Overrepresented', by Larry Elder - "Lowery implies that "right-wing rhetoric" turns white males into mass killers. But there's a problem with this narrative — the facts. When it comes to mass murderers, almost all of which are men, white men are actually underrepresented and black men overrepresented when compared to their percentages of the American male population...   UCLA law professor Eugene Volokh noted that blacks and Asians, from 1982 to 2021, committed 17.4% (12.3 % of the population) and 6.6% (3.6 %of the population) of mass shootings, respectively. Volokh wrote, "Non-Hispanic whites don't seem to commit mass shootings at greater than their share of the population. The groups that appear overrepresented are blacks and Asians."  An opinion piece last year in The Washington Post called "The Numbers Undercut Myths About Mass Shootings and White Men" found: "So it appears that the number of white men committing these crimes is close to what we'd expect from pure chance, maybe even slightly lower — the opposite of what we'd see if white supremacy culture were at fault."... The left-wing media hyperventilate about "underrepresentation" or "overrepresentation" when it comes to poverty, prison population, admission to elite colleges and universities, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, NFL head coaches or Academy Award winners. But when it comes to mass shooters, suddenly "over-representation" becomes irrelevant."

The Cynical and Dangerous Weaponization of the "White Supremacist" Label - "that Rittenhouse was a "white supremacist” was deemed so unquestionably true that questioning it was cast as evidence of one's own racist inclinations (defending a white supremacist).  Yet all along, there was never any substantial evidence, let alone convincing proof, that it was true. This fact is, or at least should be, an extraordinary, even scandalous, event: a 17-year-old was widely vilified as being a white supremacist by a union of national media and major politicians despite there being no evidence to support the accusation. Yet it took his acquittal by a jury who heard all the evidence and testimony for parts of the corporate press to finally summon the courage to point out that what had been Gospel about Rittenhouse for the last fifteen months was, in fact, utterly baseless. A Washington Post news article was published late last week that was designed to chide "both sides” for exploiting the Rittenhouse case for their own purposes while failing to adhere carefully to actual facts... four days after this admission by The Post's newsroom, their opinion editors published an op-ed by Robert Jones that flatly asserted the very same accusation which The Post itself says is bereft of evidence... It continues to be staggering how media outlets which purport to explain the Rittenhouse case get caught over and over spreading utter falsehoods about the most basic facts of the case, proving they did not watch the trial or learn much about what happened beyond what they heard in passing from like-minded liberals on Twitter... we find that the same news outlets which love to accuse others of “disinformation” — and want the internet censored in the name of stopping it — frequently pontificate on topics about which they know nothing, without the slightest concern for whether or not it is true... this episode vividly demonstrates how cheapened and emptied and cynically wielded this "white supremacist" slogan has become. The oft-implicit but sometimes-explicit premise in liberal discourse is that everyone who deviates in any way from liberal dogma is a white supremacist by definition.  Within this rubric, perhaps the most decisive "evidence" that one is a white supremacist is that one supports the Republican Party and former President Trump — i.e., that half of the voting electorate in the U.S. at least are white supremacists. A subsidiary assumption is that anyone who views the police as a necessary, positive force in U.S. society is inherently guilty of racism (it is fine to revere federal policing agencies such as the FBI and other federal security forces such as the CIA, as most Democrats do; the hallmark of a white supremacist is someone who believes that the local police — the ones who show up when citizens call 911 — is a generally positive rather than negative force in society). An illustration of how casually and recklessly this accusation is tossed around occurred last year, shortly after the George Floyd killing, when my long-time friend and colleague, Intercept journalist Lee Fang, was widely vilified as a racist and white supremacist, first by his own Intercept colleague, journalist Akela Lacy, and then — in one of the most stunningly mindless acts of herd behavior — by literally hundreds if not thousands of members of the national press, including many who barely knew who Lee was but nonetheless were content to echo the accusation (that Lee is himself not white is, of course, not an impediment, not even a speed bump, on the road to castigating him as a modern-day KKK adherent)... What was the evidence justifying Lee Fang's conviction by mob justice of these charges? He (like Rittenhouse) has expressed the view that police, despite needing reforms, are largely a positive presence in protecting innocent people from violent crime; he suggested that resorting to violence harms rather than helps social justice causes; and he published a video interview he conducted with a young BLM supporter, who complained that many liberals only care when white police officers kill black people but not when black people in his neighborhood are killed by anyone who is not white... polls continually and reliably show that the pro-police sentiments of the type that caused Rittenhouse, Fang, and so many others to be vilified by liberal elites as "white supremacists” are held not only by a majority of Americans, but by a majority of black and brown Americans, the very people on whose behalf these elite accusers purport to speak... What all of this demonstrates is that insult terms like "white supremacist” and "racist” and "white nationalist” have lost any fixed meaning. They are instead being trivialized and degraded into little more than discourse toys to be tossed around for fun and reputation-destruction by liberals, who believe they have ascended to a place of such elevated racial enlightenment that they are now the sole and exclusive owners of these terms and thus free to hurl them in whatever manner they please. It is not an overstatement to observe that in elite liberal discourse, there are literally no evidentiary requirements that must be fulfilled before one is free to malign political adversaries with those accusatory terms"
Despite the acquittal and extensive trial, lots of liberals are still spewing misinformation about Rittenhouse

The Meme Policeman - Posts | Facebook - "This meme from Robert Reich is false, given the evidence that the KY AG laid out yesterday. Many of the prior narratives (and memes) in this case fell apart after his press conference, and once again we have a case where the initial narrative presented wasn’t supported by the evidence. Here are the facts laid out by the independent investigation, which involved 1000s of hours. And not that it should matter, but the AG is black...
-Evidence shows that the officers both knocked and announced their presence at the apartment. This was confirmed by an independent witness in a nearby unit. This is counter to the previously popular narrative that this was a “no knock raid.” The AG stressed it wasn’t a no knock raid. (19 min)...
-Upon entering, the officer identified two individuals, standing beside each other, at the end of the hall, Ms. Taylor and her boyfriend Mr. Walker. This upends the other popular narrative, and the claim Reich makes even after this conference, that Taylor was in bed. The officer reported that the male was standing, holding a gun, arms extended, in a shooting stance. The officer heard a shot and immediately knew he was hit after feeling heat in his upper thigh. (19:45)"
Comment: "It's really emerged as a pattern that the media keeps getting the initial story completely wrong and it's always wrong in the same direction."

Rep. Ronny Jackson handcuffed and 'briefly detained' during rodeo while trying to assist with medical emergency, witness says - "Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson of Texas was handcuffed and placed on the ground face-first by local law enforcement while he was trying to assist a teenage girl in medical distress at a rodeo over the weekend...   In a Facebook post, Linda Dianne Shouse, a home healthcare and traveling nurse, said her 15-year-old relative was “seizing due to possible hypoglycemia” Saturday night at the White Deer rodeo, about 45 miles northeast of Amarillo, Texas. Jackson represents the Amarillo area and was an attendee at the rodeo.  Shouse said she and another family member, who is also a nurse, were attending to the girl when Jackson, who is an ER physician, stepped in to assist. Shouse said she didn’t know Jackson was a congressman at the time but told CNN they were all working together to help the teen girl...   Shouse said she was pushed back and then punched in the chest by a woman and said she saw a law enforcement official screaming in Jackson’s face, telling him to “Get the f**k back.”  “He was trying to tell them that he was a doctor and probably trying to tell him who he was, to be honest. And they were screaming that they did not effing care who he was,” she said. “And the next thing I knew, they had him on the ground, grabbed him by the shirt, threw him on the ground, face first into the concrete and had him in cuffs.”"
Too bad he's the wrong race, so no one cares

Racial inequity in fatal US police shootings, 2015–2020
Someone cited this shit paper as proof that there is racial bias in police shootings, and claimed the Fryer paper was bad, with ridiculous nitpicks (like sample size). But this paper does not even attempt to control for relevant factors but just looks at one variable: race. You might as well claim that there is overwhelming bias against men, since almost everyone shot is male. He also called the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health "one of the world's most highly respected scientific sources", even though its impact factor is 2.105, making it rank 25th in Public Health, Environmental and Occupational Health. Ironic that he claimed I spread fake news, when he was verifiably wrong

Scrabble for snowflakes - "Scrabble owner Mattel has banned 400 words from the game’s official word list, including numerous racial slurs... slurs against black, Pakistani, Irish and even white people have been axed. But don’t worry about classist insults – you can still use ‘chav’.  Ray Adler, Mattel’s global head of games, told The Times that the ban was inspired by Black Lives Matter... Adler (perhaps unwittingly) revealed what’s really behind the change: he said that with sales declining, ‘to get to the next generation of Scrabble fans we need to modernise it’. Of course, by ‘modernise’, he means ‘make it woke’.   Hasbro, which owns the rights to Scrabble in North America, made a similar move last year.  Numerous games and toys have undergone woke rebrands recently. Hasbro dropped the ‘Mr’ from the Mr Potato Head brand earlier this year in order to ‘promote equality and inclusion’, while Mattel, which also produces Barbie, released a range of gender-neutral dolls in 2019."

The infantile crusade against Robert Baden-Powell - "A statue of the founder of the Scouts movement, Lord Robert Baden-Powell, may be removed from Poole Quay by the local council after police advised it might be on a ‘target list for attack’... the Nazis included his name in their list of some 2,800 prominent Brits who would be arrested should they successfully conquer the UK – not what you would expect if they were chummy.  Baden-Powell is best-known for the Scouts movement. Desperately digging through his past to find evidence of wrongthink is an unhealthy approach, because it tries to artificially change what he meant for history. It is like a hack going after evidence for a hit-piece: if you dig deep enough and suspend context, there is always something you can say to discredit your target.  The rage against Baden-Powell is part of a wider, bizarre campaign against the past. Having run out of things to complain about in the present, today’s so-called radicals have declared war on history.   Their campaign, if successful, will eventually result in us being left with no historical figures we could feel a positive association with. This is an attempt to cleanse history because there are some parts of it that are offensive or upsetting. This is an infantile approach to politics"

CHAZ/CHOP Creates Conflict Resolution Council, and the Rules Are SPECTACULAR - "NOTE: It remains unclear at the time of this writing whether this is real or just an expertly executed troll job. Why the art world’s anti-police stance isn’t as ‘radical’ as it makes out - "We look back at socialist realism with a kind of bemused horror. What kind of state would dictate the type of art that people could make – particularly if that art had to be chintzy, representational and traditionalist (unlike the sexy constructivist stuff that preceded it)? In the 21st century, we Westerners look back at Stalin-era paintings of collective farms, ruddy-cheeked peasants and patriotic battle-scenes with a sneer.  Yet state edicts are no longer required to sway our own contemporary art and culture in a particular, and extremely narrow, direction. A set of beliefs and positions can line up without the need for a Big Brother-type leader: indeed, such a line of thought, without nuance or compromise, is perfectly suited to the internet age.  Critic Adam Lehrer has noted that today “art is praised for having the ‘correct’ ideological allegiances, not for its complexity or form”. We all know what those “allegiances” consist of, because the correct mantras are everywhere: “Trump = fascist”, “men = evil”, “white people = guilty” and so on. Since the killing of George Floyd in May last year, though the idea is hardly new, we could add “police (bastards) = to be abolished (or at least defunded)”.  The ICA, in this vein, will reopen in July with War Inna Babylon: The Community’s Struggle for Truth and Rights, curated by the activist group Tottenham Rights, Kamara Scott and Rianna Jade Parker... as recent figures show, the majority of people in every ethnic group have confidence in their local police (the figure is lower for black people, but still relatively high). A world without police could be a kinder, more community-minded world in which people looked after each other instead of calling the cops – but it could equally be a world in which the rich paid for security guards and the poor were left to fight over scraps in burned-out cities. The kind of painstaking archival work promised by the ICA show – texts, film, photography, hi-tech new research – is welcome and important. But it is also indicative of a certain, perhaps inexorable, slide towards the total politicisation of art...   The collapse of a powerful Left, one that would hold state institutions to account, has left a vacuum here, and a malleable and weak-minded art world, desperate to seem relevant and to apologise for its own hypocrisies and grotesqueries – money-laundering, corrupt sponsorship by immoral companies, inequalities up and down the system – has led to the fusion of art and politics. More popular cultural forms – television in particular – are often less rigid than the increasingly conformist art world, for whom niche beliefs can operate as a kind of cover-story. Where there is only one “correct” line to be taken, art becomes, once again, propaganda. Across the Atlantic, the recent response to a positive representation of the police in a suburb in Detroit, titled, To Serve and Protect, demonstrates this. The artist, Nicole Macdonald, on whose work the image is based – although originally without the American flag – has since clearly distanced herself from the work and wants it removed from the police department building on which it sits. The Detroit Institute of the Arts, who were involved in the mural’s production, has come under serious fire for being ‘pro-cop’ – an utterly unacceptable position in the arts... If art becomes nothing other than yet another story about the right way to think, and if art can only ever be read literally, without ambiguity or nuance, then it has lost its unique power – the power to subtly expand the way we think and feel, rather than be didactically instructed."

The rise of the White British Saviour - "The Black Lives Matter movement seems to have hastened the importation of divisive US culture-war politics into the UK. This has led to a number of absurd claims being made which are completely irrelevant to the British context. This includes framing police brutality as a shared UK-US problem, and arguing that the UK’s race relations are as bitter as those across the pond. As a consequence we also seem to be developing our own version of the White Saviour figure: those middle-class white people who lecture other white people on racial issues.  Britain is witnessing the rise of a youthful white middle-class convinced that it represents the height of enlightened thought...   Overwhelmed by ‘white guilt’, members of this new tribe strive to spread out culpability for racism among the rest of the white population. Often it is insufficiently woke working-class people who they have in their sights. According to these White British Saviours, even those in deprived coastal towns and former industrial areas, places which have been starved of meaningful public investment for decades, including communities which have witnessed the large-scale abuse of white working-class girls, must be lectured about their supposed privilege... The UK government recently offered a pathway to citizenship for millions of people in Hong Kong, in light of China’s clampdown on freedom there. Moreover, the most recent Crime Survey for England and Wales shows that the vast majority of ethnic-minority people have confidence in their local police force – with a number of non-white groups having even a higher level of confidence than white Brits. In the British workforce, the two highest-earning ethnic groups, by hourly pay, are workers of Chinese and Indian origin... the members of this ever-growing ‘Brahmin class’ of pseudo-intellectuals are ultimately more concerned with gaining brownie points from fellow snobbish peers, on social media and among their friendship groups, than they are with the facts.  They also frame BAME communities as an oppressed mass, and so ignore, or even scorn, those from minority populations who think differently to them. This is where their neocolonial mindset is laid bare – they believe that non-white people who ‘resist’ identity politics have been duped into sustaining the structures of ‘white supremacy’, as opposed to being independent-minded individuals with agency."

To Destroy America | City Journal - "Though many who joined their ranks may have been moved by outrage at the images of Floyd’s death, those operating behind the scenes have prepared for this moment for a long time.  Indeed, the leaders of the Black Lives Matter organizations fueling this summer’s disturbances were trained by self-described Marxist revolutionaries who have long used the plight of black Americans as justification for overthrowing America’s constitutional order. They frankly admit that such “organizing” is the key to their goal of world revolution. Our political leaders owe it to themselves and to their fellow Americans to understand this blueprint before rhetorically embracing, let alone implementing, the radical changes that the protesters and rioters are demanding...   In a 2015 interview, Patrice Cullors, another of the three founders, said that she and Garza were “trained Marxists.” Abdullah, of the Los Angeles BLM chapter, was born a red-diaper baby—“Raised in the 70s, in the picket lines of Oakland, by activist parents,” as the interviewer put it. Her paternal grandfather was Gunter Reimann, a member of the German Communist Party. Garza cut her organizing teeth as director of People Organized to Win Employment Rights (POWER), founded by Marxists Garth Ferguson, Patty Snitzler, Regina Douglas, Brian Russell, and Steve Williams. To Williams we owe the concept of “transformative organizing,” which insists “that effective organizing for social change cannot simply be based on an apolitical and highly specific analysis of what is possible in the short term.”  Cullors trained for a decade as a radical organizer in the Labor/Community Strategy Center, established and run by Eric Mann, a former member of the Weather Underground, the 1960s radical faction identified by the FBI as a domestic terrorist group. The “Weathermen” explained in their 1969 foundational statement that they were dedicated to “the destruction of U.S. imperialism and the achievement of classless world: world communism.”... “The university,” Mann explained, “is the place where Mao Zedong was radicalized, where Lenin and Fidel were radicalized, where Che was radicalized. The concept of the radical middle class of the colonized people, or in my case the radical middle class of the privileged people, is a model of a certain type of revolutionary.” The goal for students, he told his class, was to “Take this country away from the white settler state, take this country away from imperialism and have an anti-racist, anti-imperialist and anti-fascist revolution.”...   These are the ideological sources for what could be the largest radical movement in American history"

The BLM movement could not be more wrong - "BLM is primarily a radical movement which, contrary to its name, is disingenuous about black lives. Its fundamental aim is not protecting black lives, but revolution. UK BLM campaigners fail the sincerity test in preferring to topple statues of 17th-century Bristolian slavers over highlighting the fact that real human beings are sold in Libyan slave markets today. As Dr Tony Sewell has noted, BLM as a political project is more interested in fostering white guilt than improving the welfare of black people.  In the United States, BLM’s deafening silence on the 18 murders which occurred over a single weekend in Chicago amid the riots tells a similar story. All black lives are, evidently, not on a par.   Further, BLM’s central claim of a race-based disparity in police homicide in the US is not based in fact...   It is doubtful that many British BLM protesters know about this data. In fact, it is likely that the evidence is of little importance to them. A slick slogan and a compelling call to action trump careful analysis. Behind the slogan, however, BLM’s organisers have snuck in a radical set of proposals which include dismantling capitalism and ‘patriarchy’ and defunding the police. BLM also advocates disrupting ‘the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure’.  BLM is cynically sneaking in a revolutionary programme off the back of the George Floyd tragedy. And this is a programme that if implemented would be to the detriment of black people... it would be false to imply the situation is worsening or, as the Bishop of Dover recently suggested, that we are experiencing a ‘racism pandemic’. The reality is much more positive. The British Social Attitudes survey shows a consistent decline in racist attitudes on key questions across decades. Introducing an adversarial, US-style racialisation of politics can only serve to reverse this tremendous progress. Inviting us to view everything through the prism of race invites all sorts of racisms to spring up. This is ultimately harmful to society. When BLM supporters talk about a ‘resurgence of the far right’ they are, in part, talking about a reaction against their own racial politics."

Chris Kaba murder: Met officers don’t want to carry guns after colleague charged - "Scotland Yard’s firearms command has been plunged into crisis after dozens of armed officers handed in their weapons following the decision to charge one of their colleagues with murder.  Highly trained officers working for SCO19 - the specialist firearms unit - told their bosses they were no longer willing to carry guns the day after a Met officer appeared in court charged with murdering Chris Kaba, an unarmed black man who was shot dead in south London last September."
Chris Kaba’s car collided with police vehicles before he was fatally shot, inquest hears - "The car driven by Chris Kaba collided with police vehicles in the incident when he was shot, a court has heard.  The construction worker and rapper, 24, was unarmed when he was shot in the head by a Metropolitan Police officer in Streatham Hill during a car stop.  The vehicle he was driving had been linked to a firearms incident the previous day, leading to it being tailed by police and then eventually stopped... “Armed officers exited the vehicle and approached the Audi driven by Mr Kaba.  “The evidence suggests contact was made between the Audi driven by Mr Kaba and police vehicles.  “The evidence further suggests (the officer) was stood in front of Mr Kaba’s vehicle.”... After the shooting, witnesses reported seeing Mr Kaba attempting to ram his way free before he was shot... In a statement after the hearing, Mr Kaba’s cousin Jefferson Bosela said the firearms officer should be questioned under caution, there should be a swift charging decision from the Crown Prosecution Service, and the family should be kept fully informed as the investigation progresses.  “Today’s hearing was another step in achieving justice for Chris”, he said.  “We need answers. Not just this family, but the whole of London – the whole of the country - needs to know how something like this could occur?  “How can a young man, sitting in a car, unarmed, be shot in the head by police in London in 2022?  “This should never have happened. It must never happen again. We must never accept this as normal. Someone must be held accountable.”"
Protests across UK over killing of unarmed black man Chris Kaba - "Bell Ribeiro-Addy, the Labour MP for Streatham, who has been vocal in her support for Kaba’s family, criticised the fact that the firearms officer who is under investigation by the IOPC was not immediately suspended by the Met.  “In any other profession, if you did something which ended someone’s life, you would be suspended immediately,” Ribeiro-Addy said. “It makes no sense to me, and I’m a politician.”... Rigg said: “Another black man shot unnecessarily by the Metropolitan police … It shouldn’t take a death for us all to wake up again and come out on the streets to fight for equal rights and justice.”... “I’m a black woman. It’s really traumatic seeing people being killed by the police, consistently,” Morgan added... one round was fired from a police weapon"
If a police officer defends himself from a black man who's trying to kill him, he's a racist white supremacist
A car is not a weapon. Unless a "white supremacist" uses it to attack people, of course

A Rebuttal to Brown University’s Letter on Racism - "I wondered why such a proclamation was necessary. Either it affirmed platitudes to which we can all subscribe, or, more menacingly, it asserted controversial and arguable positions as though they were axiomatic certainties. It trafficked in the social-justice warriors’ pedantic language and sophomoric nostrums. It invoked “race” gratuitously and unreflectively at every turn. It often presumed what remains to be established. It often elided pertinent differences between the many instances cited. It read in part like a loyalty oath. It declares in every paragraph: “We Hold These Truths to Be Self-Evident.”... I deeply resented the letter. First of all, what makes an administrator (even a highly paid one, with an exalted title) a “leader” of this university? We, the faculty, are the only “leaders” worthy of mention when it comes to the realm of ideas. Who cares what some paper-pushing apparatchik thinks? It’s all a bit creepy and unsettling. Why must this university’s senior administration declare, on behalf of the institution as a whole and with one voice, that they unanimously—without any subtle differences of emphasis or nuance—interpret contentious current events through a single lens?... Is it supposed to be self-evident that every death of an “unarmed black man” at the hands of a white person tells the same story? They speak of “deep-rooted systems of oppression; legacies of hate.” No elaboration required here? No specification of where Brown might stand within such a system? No nuance or complexity? Is it obvious that “hate”—as opposed to incompetence, or fear, or cruelty, or poor training, or lack of accountability, or a brutal police culture, or panic, or malfeasance—is what we observed in Minneapolis? We are called upon to “effect change.” Change from what to what, exactly? Evidently, we’re now all charged to promote the policy agenda of the “progressive” wing of American politics. Is this what a university is supposed to be doing?  I must object. This is no reasoned ethical reflection. Rather, it is indoctrination, virtue-signaling, and the transparent currying of favor with our charges. The roster of Brown’s “leaders” who signed this manifesto in lockstep remind me of a Soviet Politburo making some party-line declaration. I can only assume that the point here is to forestall any student protests by declaring the university to be on the Right Side of History.  What I found most alarming, though, is that no voice was given to what one might have thought would be a university’s principal intellectual contribution to the national debate at this critical moment: namely, to affirm the primacy of reason over violence in calibrating our reactions to the supposed “oppression.” Equally troubling were our president’s promises to focus the university’s instructional and research resources on “fighting for social justice” around the world, without any mention of the problematic and ambiguous character of those movements which, over the past two centuries or more, have self-consciously defined themselves in just such terms—from the French and Russian Revolutions through the upheavals of the 1960s."
Nuance and complexity are racist

Murder of U of C alum sparks anti-Black sentiment - "Shaoxiong “Dennis” Zheng, a 24-year-old international student from China, was shot and killed near campus during a robbery on Nov. 9. Three days later, the Chicago Police Department announced that Alton Spann, an 18-year-old Black man, had been apprehended and charged with Zheng’s killing. Spann is charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, according to police... “Hyde Park is already one of the most policed neighborhoods in Chicago,” said Grace Pai, executive director of Asian Americans Advancing Justice Chicago. “Increasing policing and surveillance will not deter future gun violence because policing and surveillance do not address the root causes of violence such as decades of disinvestment, structural racism, poverty, trauma and lack of opportunity.”  Those who gathered Monday, including Asian and Black UChicago students, also said there has been a rise in anti-Black sentiment on campus, particularly over social media, that paints Black students and Black residents of neighboring communities with a broad brush...   On Chicago’s South Side, which includes large populations of Black and Asian residents, violent deaths of Asians have often been met with calls for more policing. In February 2020, the arrest of a Black man for the killings of two Chinese men in Chinatown was followed by an increase in anti-Black sentiment in the community and demands for increased police patrols."
How silly. Don't the Asians know the right thing to do is blame white men?

Jury fails to reach verdict after brutal attack on 68-year-old Asian jewelry store owner - "Calvin Ushery Jr., a known repeat offender, is accused of attacking Chang Suh, then 68, inside Solid Gold Jewelers on West 9th Street in Wilmington on Sept. 15, 2022. Ushery allegedly grabbed the store owner, pistol-whipped him in the head, stomped on his head and then struck his head with a hammer before swiping items worth $100,000 and fleeing the scene."
Clearly, it's white people's fault

Black Lives Matter protester admits fraud over missing donations - "A woman who helped organise the Black Lives Matter protest that toppled the statue of the slave trader Edward Colston has admitted fraud after £30,000 donated by the public went missing.  Xahra Saleem, 23, pleaded guilty to one count of fraud by abuse of position after an investigation into a fundraiser linked to the BLM movement."

Marxist Nature of Black Lives Matter Exposed in New Book - "Their goal is what Alicia Garza said … in 2019, when she was visiting a group of Maine leftists. She said, “What we want to do is dismantle the organizing principle of society.” She said that, and that’s what they want. They want to dismantle the way we’re organized. They want to dismantle the American system... on the family itself, it was Marx and Engels who put that in “The Communist Manifesto” of 1848 that they wanted to “abolish the family.”... Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi, and Melina Abdullah believe that we live in an oppressive society. Obviously, they haven’t traveled, or they haven’t traveled extensively outside of the U.S.  I have lived in at least seven countries, at least a year, as a foreign correspondent. I lived in Kabul for a month. And I can tell you that compared to the rest of the world, not only are we not oppressive, but we’re pretty, pretty good."

No, silence is not violence - "The slogan ‘Silence is Violence’, which has appeared in Black Lives Matters protests in the US, UK and around the world, is a powerful and emotive message. It is also, however, a danger to freedom of speech – the same freedom that has been central to struggles for liberty and against oppression.  In my book Trigger Warning: Is the Fear of Being Offensive Killing Free Speech?, published five years ago this month, I wrote about the powerful culture of ‘You Can’t Say THAT’ in Western societies. Since then the war on any speech deemed offensive or hateful has become far more intense, as extensively criticised on spiked.  Now, in addition to ‘You Can’t Say That’, we are faced with a new order: ‘You Must Say THIS.’ The slogan ‘Silence is Violence’ does not only mean that you must speak out, but that you must follow the correct script. You are free to say exactly what everybody else is saying, and say it loud... What is called ‘compelled speech’ has long been opposed by civil-liberties campaigners, notably in the US. Now it is apparently embraced by woke activists...   (We might note in passing that, at the same time as speech is condemned as violence and silence is said to be violence, sometimes the actual violence of protesters is apparently not seen as violence, so long as you approve of what they’re protesting for.)... In the past, compelled speech was commonly associated with authoritarians and traditionalists. Now it is the woke activists who want to police speech through their ‘Silence is Violence’ campaign... In a sign of changed times, the American Civil Liberties Union has all-but abandoned its campaigns for free speech for all and against compelled speech... fighting for free speech has been key to every struggle for liberation and equality. As the former slave and campaigner against slavery in America, Frederick Douglass, put it in 1860, ‘Liberty is meaningless where the right to utter one’s thoughts and opinions has ceased to exist. That, of all rights, is the dread of tyrants. It is the right which they first of all strike down. They know its power… Slavery cannot tolerate free speech.’"

Ridiculous Zuccs: Drag for Babies

A picture of a drag queen performing for children in stripper heels upside down on a chair wearing a tiger stripes thong (and nothing else) may go against Facebook's community standards on nudity or sexual activity.

I know this is ridiculous because a liberal accused the person posting the original image (before it got zucced) of being "blinded by ignorance", asked "what is it that YOU see in the photos that is appropriate for chilren?" and claimed it was "no different that cheer leaders in basically nothing parading around sports games entertaining children" and that "It's how ADULTS are taking it out of context that's wrong and sexualising it"

More photos: Mother behind 'drag act for babies' forced to cancel next show pictured for first time

Aside: the left likes to claim that ACAB ("All Cops Are Bastards") because even the "good" ones (who don't actively do anything wrong) don't call out the bad ones or try to fix the system.

Therefore, applying their logic, ADQAB ("All Drag Queens Are Bastards").

Also it's curious that they say not all drag queens are inappropriate with children, so we can't criticise drag for children - while at the same time pretending that priests are some great danger to kids (because they hate Christianity).

Green Party peer calls for 6pm CURFEW for ALL MEN in wake of Sarah Everard murder - "Men should be banned from being outdoors after 6pm to 'make women a lot safer' after the abduction and suspected murder of Sarah Everard in London, a Green Party peer has suggested.  Baroness Jones made the comment in a discussion in the House of Lords during a debate on domestic violence."
We're still told that feminism is about equality

Male victims are being left out of the domestic violence conversation - "Statistics Canada continues to report that around 80 per cent of the intimate partner violence (IVP) victims in police-reported incidents are women.   However, according to their own report “Family Violence in Canada: A statistical profile” men self-reported to have been abused by their partners at a higher rate than women- with 4.2 per cent of men and 3.5 per cent of women being victims. These two reports raise interesting questions about how and when to use them... male victims have not been believed by police, and in some cases even face accusations of being the perpetrator...   “Men know from experiences of other men and maybe from some previous contact with the criminal justice system or any help agencies that they will not be trusted. They will not be believed. They will be laughed at,” she says.  Dan McKinnon, the clinical adviser of programs, services and counselling at the Calgary location of the Centre For Men and Families (CCMF) agrees.   “I’ve certainly heard that a lot in men’s peer support groups, even when the violence is bilateral, [men are seen as the perpetrators],” McKinnon says. CCMF part of the large organization the Canadian Association for Equality (CAFE).  Mackinnon points to what is called the Duluth Model which has become well known around the world. However, this model has also received criticism for the way it differentiates between male and female abusers, making it seem as if women are never the aggressor. This model states that a man’s use of violence is based on “many social, cultural and institutional avenues.” As for women it says “Their violence is primarily used to respond to and resist the controlling violence being used against them. On the societal level, women’s violence against men has a trivial effect on men compared to the devastating effect of men’s violence against women.”...   A study conducted by Denise Hines of Clark University and Emily Douglas of Bridgewater State University looked at the experiences of American men who had been abused by their partners. The  study asked 389 men about what happened when they tried navigating the justice system.  The majority of the men in the study reported not being believed by police, with one man saying “When my ex-wife tried to kill me, I went to the police. Instead of helping, they said that I must have done something to provoke her.”  Beyond not being believed by law enforcement several of these men were the ones taken into custody, even if they have evidence that they were the victim...   Lysova explains the over-emphasis on female victims is systemic and goes beyond researchers.  “Unfortunately, it’s still the focus of the larger organizations like the World Health Organization. In their research hey still focus on violence against women and girls.”  The media also plays a big role in shaping the belief the general public has about domestic abuse, Lysova explains...   The Calgary Journal examined articles in an ongoing series produced by the CBC entitled “Stopping Domestic Violence”. Of the nearly 50 articles in this series, only one mentioned a male victim, and that was in the context of how the woman rehabilitated herself after being the perpetrator. It is unclear if CBC interviewed the person she abused. The only supports for men mentioned in the series were ones centered around rehabilitation and education to prevent men from becoming abusers. The articles which mainly focused on supports and shelters failed to mention CAFE, CCMF or the men’s shelter in Winnipeg.  “It’s hard to change a system that is working with a certain worldview,” says McKinnon."
"Victim blaming" is only bad when women are the "victims". Because men are evil

Feminism is not an inclusive human rights movement but a partisan exercise in exclusion - "While radical feminists battle intersectional feminists for the right to female only places, it was radical feminists who, decades ago, began campaigns to make same sex clubs illegal, and they are still doing it. The Garrick Club, one of the oldest "gentlemen's clubs" (no not that kind!) in London is being sued by a female lingerie tycoon because she cannot become a member, but is welcome everywhere in the club as a guest, as are other women. And this is happening while exclusive women's only clubs, such as The Wing, are popping up all over the shop! What's good for the goose is clearly not good for the gander.  What the archives of Spare Rib show, is that orthodox radical feminism was bludgeoned to death in the 80s and then reanimated with intersectionality. Via the fraud of equality, as Greer admitted in 2014, intersectional feminism has weaponized a benign sounding "liberal feminism" and used it as a vector to mainline itself into, and undermine, every one of our institutions, as Trump noted. Orthodox radical feminists don't like it, but they laid the foundations for it. And they should not be trusted as egalitarians because of it.  I shared my thoughts with prominent liberal feminist Christina Hoff Sommers, and asked her why, in light of the growing preposterousness of feminist claims on sex and gender, a stance both radical and intersectional feminism have equally wrong, she still called herself a feminist?  She replied, "I think I agree with you. The term 'feminism' was hijacked by male-averse hardliners long ago. I always assumed that moderate, equal-opportunity feminists could get it back. Now I'm not so sure."  She proposed a new term, "equalist." But for me, this would just establish a new front for ideologues to build on. Women's rights suffices and lays the ground for the acceptance of non-ideological men's rights. At the moment, men's rights activists are using the feminist playbook, weaponizing suffering as means to a political end, and doing very little to ameliorate suffering.  It's also worth remembering that most people, male or female, do not identify as feminist even while they agree with egalitarian principles like equality under the law. Many feminists complain that this consistent finding is because women don't actually understand what feminism is. I beg to differ. They know exactly what it is and what stops them from identifying as feminist is the ideological bag of bricks that feminism comes with; social constructionism, patriarchy theory, gender theory (which both intersectional and radical feminism have wrong), critical race theory. How can denying the laws of biology possibly be in anyone's best interests? What's next, decolonizing gravity?  These battling dogmatic demographics are vanishingly small yet have complete executive control of the debate. Trans activists and intersectional feminists need to understand, it's not TERFs they are fighting, it's just normal women who do not identify as feminist. Radical feminists need to understand that their theory does not represent what women want either. It has been clear for many years that feminism and women's rights are not one and the same thing and all creeds of feminisms, which necessarily sign up to ludicrous post modern, neo-Marxist, critical theories of the world and human nature, are fundamentally intellectually compromised in their supposed goal of social and moral amelioration.  Feminism does not support women, it supports other feminists. It's not an inclusive human rights movement, it's an exclusive partisan movement. The turf war for control of the feminist brand, a brand which has direct and privileged access to our political infrastructure, is being fought by people who do not represent the commons. It is an ideological, undemocratic power grab. The answer to the dilemma is not to take sides with one creed of feminism or the other, but to disavow both."

Why are the Canadian women of ISIS coming home without being charged? - "Nine women have returned to Canada from Syria with the help of the federal government, most recently in July. All were captured during the war against ISIS. But just one has been charged, Montreal resident Oumaima Chouay. Four other women have been charged with terrorism since it became a crime under Canadian law more than two decades ago, but their cases ended without convictions. By contrast, 63 men have been charged, and about half convicted so far. The only woman ever convicted of terrorism in Canada is Toronto-based ISIS supporter Rehab Dughmosh, who was found guilty in 2019 and has already served her prison sentence. Not a single Canadian woman who lived under ISIS has yet been convicted... National security researchers have taken note of the prosecution statistics, and they are puzzled. Leaving the country to participate in a terrorist group is a crime in Canada. The maximum sentence is 10 years. But the charge is not being levied against women returning from Syria...  While Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom have prosecuted dozens of women returning from overseas, Canada has little to show... women may also be benefiting from gender stereotypes that diminish their roles in global terrorism, making them less likely to be charged and more likely to receive lighter sentences. "The colloquial term often used is 'chick discount,' that women are presumed to be not capable of engaging in terrorist activities. And if they do, it's because they've been duped, they've been manipulated, they're somehow naive or they were young and didn't know what they were doing," West said. "There's a lot of narratives to reduce their individual culpability for their actions that we don't apply to men, even at the same age."...  Women were not only integral to ISIS, they were complicit in its genocide of Yazidis, said Canadian Yazidi Association president Jamileh Naso... A Toronto judge focused on Dughmosh's mental health and awarded what she acknowledged was a significantly discounted sentence of four years and 160 days — about half the average sentence handed to men. The judge also expressed "optimism with respect to her rehabilitation and reintegration." But Dughmosh went on to threaten to kill prison staff, while demanding to be sent to Syria, and vowed to attack again, according to Parole Board of Canada records. “If you release me from jail I will do another terrorist attack,” she wrote in a note to her parole officer. Six years after her attack, Dughmosh has already completed her sentence. Tourabi told Global News she was surprised to hear the only woman ever convicted of terrorism was already being freed from prison. “It’s kind of scary that she’s out because she might do it again.”"
Damn patriarchy!

Digit ratio (2D:4D) and gender inequalities across nations - PubMed - "Gender inequality varies across nations, where such inequality is defined as the disproportionate representation of one sex over the other in desirable social, economic, and biological roles (typically male over female). Thus in Norway, 40% of parliamentarians are women, in the USA 17%, and in Saudi Arabia 0%. Some of this variation is associated with economic prosperity but there is evidence that this cause and effect can go in either direction. Here we show that within a population the average ratio of index (2D) to ring (4D) finger lengths (2D:4D)-a proxy measure of the relative degree to which offspring is exposed in utero to testosterone versus estrogen-is correlated with measures of gender inequality between nations. We compared male and female 2D:4D ratios to female parliamentary representation, labor force participation, female education level, maternal mortality rates, and juvenile pregnancy rates per nation in a sample of 29 countries. We found those nations who showed higher than expected female fetal exposure to testosterone (low 2D:4D) and lower than expected male exposure to fetal testosterone (high 2D:4D) had higher rates of female parliamentary representation, and higher female labor force participation. In short, the more similar the two sexes were in 2D:4D, the more equal were the two sexes in parliamentary and labor force participation. The other variables were not as strongly correlated. We suggest that higher than expected fetal testosterone in females and lower fetal testosterone in males may lead to high female representation in the national labor force and in parliament."

BCTF delegates reject call to respond to drop in male teachers - "B.C. Teachers’ Federation leaders are showing scant interest in responding to the way the proportion of male teachers has declined to one in four.  Last month, delegates to the BCTF convention rejected a motion to “take steps to redress the increase in gender disparity in the teaching profession, such as engaging members through a task force.” The BCTF is not alone in showing little concern for the fall in male teachers. That’s despite a band of North American advocates maintaining male teachers could provide positive role models for boys, who are doing increasingly poorly in kindergarten to Grade 12. Young men, in addition, now account for less than 40 per cent of those in higher education. “There is a trend, and it’s not a good one for boys. Having a male teacher can help improve a boy’s well-being and confidence,” said retired B.C. public school teacher and counsellor Phil Gardner, who has noticed how boys are becoming less engaged in school.  B.C. education ministry figures show there are only 9,972 male public-school teachers in B.C., compared to 38,285 females. Other data suggest the number of male teachers under age 35 is only 15 per cent.  The shortage of male teachers is part of a larger vocational problem in society, where, despite women’s advances in many fields, some sectors are becoming increasingly segregated by gender.  While women have responded to encouragement to move into STEM (science, technology, engineering and medicine), fewer men than decades ago are entering the so-called HEAL fields: Health, education, administration and literacy.  In the crucial realm of education, boys are now twice as likely as girls to say “school is a waste of time,” according to a survey by the OECD, a club of 38 mostly well-off countries. And in the U.S., boys are three times more likely than girls to be expelled from school."
Don't hold your breath for feminists to care, even as they pretend feminism helps men too

When feminists talk about "gender neutrality" they don't mean gender neutrality but pushing the opposite of "stereotypes"

Florida mom encourages her son to wear dresses to school to 'break stereotypes' - "A mother has revealed that she is raising her four-year-old son to use gender-neutral words and encouraging him to wear dresses to school in a bid to teach him about inclusivity - despite admitting that he gets picked on by his peers because of his clothing and long hair.       Educational worker Lorenza Bruno, 30, from Florida, gave birth to her son LJ, now four, in 2016 with her partner Louis, 29. Lorenza's number one goal as a mum was to raise a good human who would be open, loving, and accepting of everyone.  From a young age, she encouraged LJ to express himself freely whilst ensuring she would raise a son who was kind and gentle, as well as someone who could recognize their role to create a safe and equal society for women, all cultures, and himself... 'I won't entertain or allow this conversation with friends and family who don't agree with our choices.'"
Looks like the mother is pushing it, since she doesn't allow friends and family to ask what's happening. Poor kid

Reversing the Descent of Man - "As David Gilmore’s cross-cultural study of men shows (1990), in the small handful of cultures without patriarchy, men live a narcissistic Peter Pan existence, putting very little into the community and leaving most of the labor to women. Such societies have not developed beyond a rudimentary level, and cannot compete with their more highly organized and structured neighbors. This is why there are so few of them. They are not a suitable model for modern industrial nations to copy. Copying them, however, is what we have been doing in recent decades as attacks have mounted on the sexual division of labour. Since the Enlightenment, the philosophical doctrines of individualism have come into repeated conflict with ideas about sexual differences... Policies of strict gender equality are no longer what most women want—if they ever did. Many women, especially older women with experience of managing families, recognize that emphasizing men’s provider role is essential if they’re to be caring and productive members of the community... Heavy rates of unemployment are widely seen as related to the collapse of male morale and motivation. But it is a mistake to regard joblessness in itself as the cause of men’s problems. Male unemployment is no novelty, and reached high levels in the ’30s without weakening male resolve and family commitment or readiness to retrain for new types of work. Arguably it even sharpened these.  What is new is the loss of morale and sense of purpose among men, and this is a cultural rather than an economic change, arising out of the libertarian assault on sex roles. Men are bombarded with the message that modern women value the opportunity for self-realization through work. So the chivalrous thing to do these days is for men not strive too hard to hold down a job or seek promotion, but stand aside and let women go for it themselves. This is the root of contemporary male economic and educational failure, and the reason why there are increasing numbers of unemployed men even though the total number of jobs remains stable... At the moment, the tax systems in most Western countries create perverse incentives for women to have children outside of marriage and provide men and women with little reason to remain married... Male breadwinning need not be the enemy of women. Once they have children, 37 percent of British women, and 48 percent of 18–39-year-old women, would actually prefer a male partner to carry the main economic burden while they perform the main family management and caring role, according to the Social Attitudes Survey... Throughout history, communities have found that the most effective way to lock men into useful membership is to link their status and rewards in the wider group to their acceptance and performance of gender-defined family roles. When this connection is weakened—as it was after the French and Russian revolutions, for instance—then men’s morale and behavior deteriorates and families suffer"

Feminism is on trial – never forget that | Anti-feminist Praxis - "To say that feminism is on trial means it is under the evaluative gaze of an “other”, an outside intelligence which is specifically not feminist and views feminism in highly objective terms. We contend that feminism lacks complete understanding of itself, and that only non-feminist alterity can supply the needed information to remedy this lack.  We further contend that such understanding, if it should arrive, would spell the end of feminism altogether because lack of self-awareness is a critical feminist feature. Therefore, it is not in the feminist interest to gain such understanding – because this would render feminism non-viable...   The worst of it is that they parade themselves under a banner of moral supremacy, acting like they own the world or like they ARE the world. We have a name for such behavior: feminist triumphalism, the narrative-based notion that feminism is right because it’s right because it’s right, that the case is settled for all time and no further discussion need be tolerated... We have spoken of feminist triumphalism, but we should also mention feminist subjectivism, a state of mind closely entangled with it. Feminist subjectivism (which resembles solipsism) may be summed up as the idea that no correct understanding of feminism can originate outside the realm of feminist discourse. In other words, that feminism can be nothing other than what a feminist says it is. Feminist subjectivism occurs not only when they insist upon the dictionary meaning of feminism, but when they impose feminist terms and categories upon the living reality of the non-feminist sector."

Hawaii Proposes ‘Feminist Economic Recovery Plan’ Filled With Sex Discrimination - "What’s a “feminist economic recovery plan”? Exactly what you would expect: A document full of policies aimed to help women at the expense of men that will ultimately end up hurting women as well.  Such a proposal has been developed by the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women, part of the state’s Department of Human Services. The plan is ostensibly called “Building Bridges, Not Walking on Backs,” even though it does exactly what it claims it won’t... The outlet spoke with Khara Jabola-Carolus, the executive director of the Commission on the Status of Women, who helped develop the plan. Jabola-Carolus revived the ridiculous claim that the coronavirus hurts women more than men, saying that men are more likely to die from the disease because of sexism against women. Seriously"
Feminism is sex discrimination after all

'For years, I've been in a very suffocating environment': Former teacher becomes OnlyFans creator, netizens divided - "Leaving a stable job to pursue a passion can be difficult for anyone.  Content creator Chanel Yui left her role as a secondary school teacher last year to pursue cosplaying, streaming and even OnlyFans — and found the "stripping", in her own words, to be "cathartic".   She told Esther Lai-Joseph of That Mom Chat on TikTok: "For years I've been in a very, very suffocating environment. And I told you right, I kena a few times. I kena called down to the office and told, 'This one not very appropriate', 'Can you take this down?', 'A lot of complaints about you', blah blah blah.  "And I'm like, why can't I be myself?'  It is unclear if Chanel meant that she received complaints about her conduct in school or online.  When asked if her mother's passing gave her the push to start her OnlyFans career, Chanel agreed. She added that it felt like it was "one huge responsibility completed" and she could "open up her options"."
Double standards on what constitutes distribution of pornographic material? : SingaporeRaw - "Section 29 of the Films Act states that you can get up to 2 years jail and/or a fine when local talents make p0rn. The news has given pretty much a good coverage on OF creators, with the latest being the secondary school teacher. So it's like free advertisement by the local news and they somehow do not get charged. Titus Low got jailed 3 weeks after the big hoo-ha on the news. I've known acquaintances who got sentenced to a quarter year jail term for possessing such materials. Does the law somehow not apply to female OF creators? Does the law just come down really harshly on normal citizens who are not OF creators? Such double standards show the erosion of moral standards here. What do you think?"
Naturally, AWARE is silent
When laws are gender neutral but enforcement isn't...

Women who "train" their husbands. : MensRights - "I see this referred to in social media fairly often. Women who boast that after years of "training" their husbands, they finally know how to talk or eat or groom themselves, etc. "correctly". Often the other women responding laugh about how they've had to "train theirs" as well, and how it took a long time but eventually they started behaving right.  It's so normalized that even men will chime in about their own inadequacies and how grateful they are that their wives have "fixed" them or some such idea. Obviously if genders were reversed this would be called out as controlling and demeaning would it not?"
Power relations means never having to say you're sorry

Meme - "Ghosted after sex for the first time and sad about it 29F here. I have plenty of dating experience under my belt, and usually am pretty good at spotting red flags. I spent a few weeks talking to a guy from Hinge and thought we were really hitting things off. We had a ton in common, and he is one of the super feminist-y types, so I felt safe around him. After a few dates, we finally do the deed and it’s nothing short of amazing. I can’t think of a better sexual experience I’ve ever had. He says the experience is amazing for him as well, he tells me I’m special. We make plans to see one another again and have another great time in bed, followed by a cute dinner date. We talk about meeting up again and then... He ghosts me :/  I’m feeling super super crushed and hurt by the whole situation. I’ve had hookups and relationships alike before and am generally a very good judge of character… I haven’t been ghosted or rejected before because I’m usually pretty careful about not getting entangled with people who are unavailable. My emotional attraction to people only comes after I feel that they’ve indicated a certain level of emotional interest too. I suppose the passionate sex and him cooking for me at every date gave me a false sense of emotional intimacy?  Compounding the hurt is the fact that we’re both graduate students at the same school. We’re in different programs but our buildings share a parking lot where we keep running into each other and making eye contact but not speaking. I have no idea why he would suddenly ghost me :/ Any ladies that have dealt with this before? Is this just what modern dating is today?"
