Thread by @EFischberger on Thread Reader App – Thread Reader App - "HUGE BREAKING: Major Lawsuit Filed Over Oct. 7 Hamas Attack
Families of American victims of the Oct. 7 Hamas massacre have filed a giant federal lawsuit in Washington, D.C. against Palestinian-American billionaire Bashar Masri and four of his companies.  Let's break it down 🧵
🔸️The suit accuses Masri of aiding and abetting Hamas by embedding terror infrastructure inside so-called “economic development” projects in Gaza.
🔸️Masri allegedly used his reputation to secure millions in funding from USAID, the World Bank, the UN, the EU, and others.
🔸️Plaintiffs claim he secretly partnered with Hamas to build tunnels, hide rockets, and host terrorist operations beneath flagship properties.
🔸️The Gaza Industrial Estate, located near the Israeli border, allegedly housed attack tunnels, served as a staging ground for the October 7 invasion, and diverted solar energy from donor-funded infrastructure to power Hamas’s underground network.
🔸️Masri’s luxury hotels — including the Blue Beach and the Al Mashtal (rebranded “Ayan Hotel”) — allegedly served as Hamas command centers, with tunnels accessible from guest rooms and direct ties to military training facilities.
🔸️Senior Hamas officials, including Yahya Sinwar, are said to have operated out of these sites, using them for planning and launching attacks.
🔸️The complaint calls it a “grand deception” — Masri promoted peace and progress publicly, while enabling terror behind the scenes.
🔸️Plaintiffs argue this deception shielded key Hamas infrastructure from Israeli targeting and directly contributed to the scale and success of the October 7 massacre."

Meme - Ridvan Aydemir I Apostate Prophet @ApostateProphet: "We have a problem."
Hamas. 84% of Americans have an unfavorable view of Hamas
% who say they have opinion of Hamas, which has controlled Gaza
Muslims - 58% unfavorable, 37% favorable"
Clearly, this is Islamophobic because a majority of American Muslims have an unfavourable opinion of Hamas, and the real problem is the 3% of White Protestants who have a favourable opinion of it. But also if you have an unfavourable opinion of Hamas, this is anti-Palestinian racism

Meme - Ben B@dejo @BenTelAviv: "Black students aren't told to tolerate fellow students marching in KKK hoods, but Jewish students are forced to walk through crowds of masked Hamas-supporting students chanting for "intifada" and violent "resistance" if they want to go to class. It's disgusting and indefensible."

Meme - Wilfred Reilly @wil_da_beast630: "This is just complete fiction. Even if you accept the nonsense Hamas claim that half of the ~60,000 war deaths were doctor babies, malaria and diarrhea both kill 500-600,000 children under five annually."
Andrew Feinstein @andrewfeinstein: "The number one cause of child deaths on Earth this year is israel. Read that again and again."
So much for all Jews supporting Israel

Meme Heidi Bachram @HeidiBachram: "Owen Jones supports the man who shared a video of my husband's family being tortured by Hamas on October 7 and branded them "settlers". As though they deserved it. I never hated anyone before. I do now."
Owen Jones @owenjonesjourno: "Solidarity with @AliAbunimah. Journalism is not a crime."

GAZAWOOD - the PALLYWOOD saga on X - "A Gazan went to fill his bucket, but was told the water’s gone — filming had ended. Water was only for the cameras (to get donations). Someone says it’s a UNICEF truck, but he replies: “The stickers are fake.” Credit: @imshin"

Andrew Fox on X - "Targeting civilians for 18 months but of 2 million(+) potential targets they have only managed to kill 20-30,000, if that. The IDF are either the worst shots in history and have taken 3,000+ casualties and fatalties through shaving cuts and workplace accidents; OR, bear with me, they’ve taken immense care to protect civilians during tough battles."

GAZAWOOD - the PALLYWOOD saga on X - "Amin Abed, a Gazan who protested and was abducted by Hamas, reveals part of how the group operates: “Of course Hamas hides behind civilians in hospitals… Among medical staff… They caused hospitals to be bombed… Hamas uses these hospitals as bases… They interrogate and torture our people there… They even sent summons letters to young men, to bring them in for questioning and torture… To the point where hospitals had to shut their doors and stop functioning because of it… (Note: many of the "wounded" in viral videos were likely harmed by Hamas but shown as Israeli victims) Yes, unfortunately, Hamas insists on hiding behind civilians… For example, the governor of Khan Younis, Taher al-Qudra, is hiding inside Al-Amal Hospital… Why is he hiding and placing guards in the middle of a hospital where tens of thousands receive treatment? Come out! Aren’t you a ‘resistance fighter’? Don’t you claim to be ‘the resistance’?”"

Hillel Fuld on X - "BREAKING!!   According to the Wall St. Journal, Hamas is so deep in financial collapse, it can no longer afford to pay its fighters or government staff—salaries have been cut off entirely.  So Israel is taking land away from Hamas, choking them financially, taking out its leadership, eliminating terrorist by terrorist, and relocating hundreds of thousands of Gazans to other countries.   And somehow, the haters continue to say that we are losing the war.   If this is what they call losing, I hope the IDF continues to “Lose”."

@amuse on X - "GAZA: The Palestinians can no longer fund its military and political staff after losing more than 70% of its funding from USAID. In total financial collapse it can no longer pay salaries. Leaders are saying the loss of US funding is worse than the war with Israel."

Hillel Neuer on X - "Sad what happened when the U.S. ended its $300 million annual funding for UNRWA"
Ironically, the terrorism supporters love to hate on the US and claim it funds "genocide", but pre-Trump, US funding was keeping Hamas afloat

𝗡𝗶𝗼𝗵 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗴 ♛ ✡︎ on X - "In the sh*thole known as Birmingham, Keffiyeh Karens are screaming at people for shopping at a normal grocery store. Watching these videos literally motivates me to go buy Israeli-made Sabra Hummus at the nearest Tesco. Such miserable losers."

Eyal Yakoby on X - "Disgusting: The President of Ireland gave a speech at the 80th Auschwitz Commemoration and of course had to mention Gaza. The security then kicked out Jews in the crowd who, rightfully, called this out. We live in a complete dystopia."

'Why are you removing me?': Israeli woman who stood up to Irish president talks - "Lior Tibet (37), who has lived in Dublin for about seven years, was captured on video on Sunday being forcibly removed by security guards during Irish President Michael Higgin's speech, after he began attacking Israel over its actions in Gaza during a Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony... Tibet's friend, who was pregnant, was pulled outside. "She didn't resist too much because she's pregnant," Tibet recounts. "And then they came to me and grabbed my arm and came to pull me outside. I said to them right then: 'You cannot remove a Jewish woman from a Holocaust memorial ceremony, this is my ceremony.' I refused to leave and they really pulled me. I resisted and then they started dragging me on the floor, and I'm shouting the whole time 'I'm Jewish, why are you removing me?'"  Tibet repeatedly emphasizes that the security guards pulled her with force – which she says was excessive relative to the act: "I turned my back, this is a democratic country – what is this thing?! Outside I spoke with some of the police officers who were keeping me from going back into the ceremony, and I told them I don't understand this country. Just yesterday there was a demonstration in the middle of the city with Hamas and Hezbollah flags – and they did nothing. But I, who makes a quiet protest, without shouting, without posters, didn't support a violent movement or terrorists – and they use force against me! The officers said they understand, but there's nothing to do and they won't let me back into the event. In the end four people were removed, and we weren't allowed back in. They told us that until the event was over we weren't allowed to be in the event area."   "My feeling is very difficult," Tibet shares angrily, "What way is left for me to protest? You can't go out on the street with an Israeli flag because you need security and the police aren't interested in providing security. You try to protest at the university and it's a problem – we wanted to organize a Holocaust memorial ceremony at one of the universities, and they told us it's a 'controversial issue.' And all this happens while there are demonstrations full of hate and supporting terror in the city streets here undisturbed. Since the incident I've been receiving hate messages on social media and to my work email. They want us to leave, but we won't let them win in the unfair and unjust battle they're waging against the Jewish community, against Israel and against Israelis," she declares, "We will continue to fight antisemitism even if it's like a bone in their throat, we'll continue to present the truth even if they don't want to hear us.""
Peaceful protest is only an essential right, and removing peaceful protesters only fascism, when it pushes the left wing agenda

TDSB probes allegation Gaza video shown to kindergarten kids - "Toronto’s public school board is investigating allegations that a lunchroom supervisor showed graphic video of the war in Gaza to kindergarten kids, leaving students traumatized and parents outraged.  The incident is alleged to have occurred last week at Alexander Muir/Gladstone Ave Junior and Senior Public School, and the lunchroom supervisor is currently on leave... Tamara Gottlieb, founding member of the Jewish Educators and Families Association, has been contacted by parents, who say their children were shown a video that has left some kids having nightmares and afraid to go to school.  According to the parents, children were shown a video that was “quite graphic, including scenes of pretty disturbing violence” by the lunchroom supervisor.  “Every parent that has reached out to me about this incident is irate, irrespective of their religious background,” said Gottlieb. “This is totally inappropriate.”"

Palestinian Journalist: Hamas Steals, Sells Humanitarian Aid - "Palestinian journalist Ayman Khaled accused Hamas of being complicit in stealing humanitarian aid entering Gaza and selling it in local markets. Khaled made these claims following the execution of two men by Hamas authorities for allegedly stealing 97 aid trucks. Khaled argued that it was implausible for two individuals to carry out such an operation alone, suggesting it was an organized operation."
A terrorism supporter was claiming Israel was the one stealing all the aid and those claiming Hamas was doing so were lying

Palestinian Authority Says Hamas Is Stealing Aid Meant for Gaza Civilians - "Official Palestinian Authority (PA) TV in the Gaza Strip reported that the aid convoys are being “robbed” by “the merchants of war,” who then “sell it in the market at very high prices”:
'Official PA TV reporter in Deir Al-Balah, Gaza: “Many aid convoys are suffering from acts of piracy. There are robbers armed with firearms who steal the aid before it reaches the needy, and they take control of it …  The merchants of war [i.e., Hamas] are taking the aid and selling it in the market at very high prices, even though it is written on them that they are aid supplies not designated for sale.”'...
the PA has also criticized Hamas for looking out for its own and Iran’s interests, thereby ignoring the welfare of Gazan civilians...   When Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed and Hamas appointed Yahya Al-Sinwar as its new Political Bureau chairman, an editorial in the official PA daily strongly criticized Al-Sinwar and Hamas for only having their own interests at heart and not “the Gaza Strip with its residents, homes, structures, streets, schools, and hospitals”... Likewise, PA leader Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor Mahmoud Al-Habbash has accused Hamas of being selfish, having launched the 2023 Gaza war “to make gains for Hamas and Hamas’ allies”"
Damn PA, which has been infiltrated by "Zionists"!

Marian Almazroule @mariam_almaz11: "Hamas sent British lawyers to beg a London court to take them off the terror list. Cute. Meanwhile, Sudan's Muslim Brotherhood army aka the "Army of Genocide" is using the same playbook to stop the UAE from sending food to starving civilians. Not ISIS this time, just their cousins in suits. And you thought this was just about Gaza? Wake up. Islamists are gaming your courts, hijacking your laws, and turning your values into weapons. Rapists get shielded under "Islamophobia," and terrorists get rebranded as "activists." All while you sip your fair-trade coffee and stay silent. On Oct 7, you didn't just betray Israel you betrayed your own civilization. Either you push back against this madness or get used to living in chaos, where law and order are just colonial relics. if you want to know what Hamas rule looks like, peek at Sudan today. Spoiler: It's not a vibe. The goal shouldn't be to appease terrorists it should be to end them."

Palestinian Protesters outside of Vaughan Poilievre Rally. : r/CanadianConservative - "During the Pierre poilievre rally, pro Palestinian protesters were screaming at supporters including me. They were here to cause trouble and there to yell at innocent supporters after and before the rally. These protests were not peaceful but were there to invoke hate."
"It's like how the climate protests were before the October 7 attacks (Notice how these climate protests largely disappeared since that date?)  It's become clear to me that it's not so much about the cause itself but rather using the cause to boost these protesters' own profiles amd show how righteous they are to others. There's a very narcisssistic side to their "activism""

King Crocoduck, Gigazionist on X - ""bUt MuH dEaD cHiLdReN" is strategic incompetence on the part of people who pretend not to understand the difference between collateral damage in a war against militants who embed themselves among civilians on the one hand, and the deliberate systematic murder of kids on the other.   These people know exactly what cynical game they're playing, and they should be treated accordingly. They should be treated no differently than American Nazi sympathizers during WW2 who cried "bUt Muh dEaD gErMaN cHiLdReN," not because they gave a rat's ass about dead kids, but because it was the only way they could undermine the Allies without explicit advertising their actual ideological aims.  Stop falling for these crocodile tears, all of it is fake and gay."

Eyal Yakoby on X - "BREAKING: Terror supporters are trying to break through the police line to reach the Jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn. Can you imagine the outrage if white people were marching towards a black community calling for violence? Why is this being tolerated?"

Hamas vastly inflated Gaza death statistics, study shows - "A rigorous analysis published on Saturday of Hamas authorities’ death statistics in Gaza shows they were vastly inflated and methodologically flawed.  The report by the London-based Henry Jackson Society security think tank breaks down the figure of about 44,000 deaths since Oct. 7, 2023, that the Hamas-controlled health ministry in Gaza has published, and which international media have reported without scrutiny.    The scale of civilian deaths in Gaza is a key element in a legal and propaganda attempt by Israel’s enemies to isolate it internationally using false allegations of genocide.    The figure, which does not distinguish between civilians and the 17,000 terrorists Israel says it has killed in Gaza, also includes about 5,000 people who die of natural causes each year, states the report.   “This report raises serious concerns that the Gaza MoH figures have been overstated,” wrote Andrew Fox... “The data behind their figures contains natural deaths, deaths from before this conflict began and deaths of those killed by Hamas itself; it contains no mention of Hamas combatant fatalities; and it overstates the number of women and children killed,” reads the report, titled “Questionable Counting: Analysing the Death Toll from the Hamas-Run Ministry of Health in Gaza.”  Some cancer patients were listed as requiring treatment after they had already been listed as war causalities. Jihad Mahmoud Adeeb Al-Taweel, ID number 950130153, was described in an April 15 list as a patient with laryngeal cancer, two weeks after being listed as a war fatality.   The report outlined additional statistical inconsistencies in the data collection process, including in the hospitals that reported it to the health ministry.  A “dramatic change happened in reports from al-Aqsa hospital [in Deir al-Balah], where the claimed number of fatalities jumped from 4,994, as per the 31 March 2024 report, to 6,608 just a week later. At the same time, the number of children jumped from 1,294 to 2,142, meaning children were responsible for 52.5% of the sharp increase,” the report said.   In a Dec. 10 article about the latest death statistics by the health ministry in Gaza, The Palestine Chronicle reported that “Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children”—a claim that anti-Israel activists often cite to promote the genocide charge against the Jewish state.  But Fox’s report found that “most fatalities are men aged 15–45, contradicting claims that civilian populations are being disproportionately targeted.” Deaths reported by families, as opposed to how they are listed by the health ministry, “suggests that many fatalities classified as civilian may be combatants, a distinction omitted from official reporting”...   On Dec. 10, Hamas’s Government Media Office wrote that nearly 44% of 44,758 reported fatalities in the Gaza Strip were children. The report disputes this data, showing cases of adults being listed as children. The document also shows that the Government Media Office, which says its data come from the health ministry, routinely inflates the share of women and children in the statistics.  The health ministry data also shows that men have been misclassified as women, the Fox report states. “In the August 2024 list, 103 names were marked as female who had a male first name (e.g. Mohammed).”...   Israel’s advocates have said that even Hamas’s unreliable statistics, when combined with the Israeli estimates on the number of terrorists killed in the Gaza Strip, reveal a relatively low rate of civilian deaths. Considering the urban warfare conditions of the Gaza Strip, and Hamas’s strategy of using civilian shields, Israel’s defenders say the statistics reflect a major effort to avoid civilian loss of life during IDF operations to dismantle Hamas and free Israeli hostages."

Berkeley ceasefire vote splits City Council and community - "A Berkeley City Council meeting ended in chaos Monday night, as an unruly crowd chanted "no justice, no peace" and a protester declared ominously that "future generations will remember this day."  The special meeting — focused on dueling ceasefire resolutions related to the Israel-Gaza War — may have taken the prize for the longest public comment period, lasting more than 5 hours, followed by the pithiest council discussion: Officials spoke for less than 30 minutes before taking action... A physical altercation broke out when the former commissioner refused to let a pro-Israel speaker come into the room to speak... The witness said the former commissioner grabbed the arm of the pro-Israel speaker, an older woman, to move her out of the way, at which point a man — also part of the pro-Israel camp — stood in between them to act as a shield.  At that point, the witness said, a man in a keffiyeh grabbed the other man from behind, pulled him backward, put him in a chokehold and began to hit him... Inside the meeting room, people on both sides of the debate referenced the violence outside and blamed the other group for instigating it, in what one person called a "microcosm of what's playing out in the Middle East."... Most of the disruptions appeared to come from the activist side, including some who made it clear they believed breaking the decorum rules about an issue of such import was a matter of civic duty.  As a result, most of the speakers in the pro-Israel camp were repeatedly badgered, and struggled to get through their remarks without interruption.  The pro-Israel speakers were consistent in their comments, calling on the Berkeley City Council to focus on local issues rather than divisive matters of foreign policy and asking them to support the Taplin resolution.  They said many of the stories being shared were part of a sophisticated propaganda machine being driven by Hamas to foment antisemitism and undermine the state of Israel.  Meanwhile, the speakers supporting Gaza, who made up the vast majority in the room, said Berkeley officials had a duty to call for an arms embargo with Israel and take a stand against a genocide being livestreamed for the world to see.  Some described heartbreaking losses in Gaza suffered by their own families or witnessed firsthand, and said Berkeley must take a stand publicly, particularly given its many prior foreign policy items, including a ceasefire resolution in 2022 in support of Ukraine... some of the attendees called officials a variety of names, from outright liars to "cowards in the face of genocide," shouting out in anger and frustration as the mayor repeatedly asked for order... Blackaby said he supported the Taplin motion because, "most importantly, to me, it centers almost all of its language on what the priority of the City Council must be: the people of Berkeley, our community and our values."... Councilwoman Shoshana O’Keefe said she could only support the Taplin motion, largely due to an abiding belief, dating back to her days as a Berkeley High School student, that city leaders should not spend time deliberating international affairs... Taplin called international resolutions from Berkeley officials "solipsistic at best" and said they were, at worst, "a wasteful distraction from the local issues that we are actually obligated and authorized to address — while having zero impact on foreign affairs and serving no other purpose than to expose our community to toxicity, abuse and the reignition of trauma."  "Several hours of conspiratorial anti-Jewish vitriol have failed to convince me otherwise," he said.  Some of the most divisive commentary of the night came from a longtime Berkeley activist who wore a shirt to honor Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind of the Oct. 7 attacks that killed approximately 1,200 people in Israel and saw more than 250 others taken hostage.  The activist lauded Sinwar as a family man and brilliant strategist. In response to his comments, some members of the crowd chanted, "Long live Sinwar.""
Weird. Why are the Zionists always manipulating the media to make them look good and the "pro-Palestinian" side look bad?

Main thing stopping Gaza emigration is host countries, Netanyahu says - "The plan received significant backing from a survey conducted among Gazans, which revealed that about half of them wished to emigrate."
Time for the "pro-Palestinian" crowd to condemn Gazans for participating in "ethnic cleansing", since they won't be able to be used against Israel anymore

Avi Benlolo: Universities are a wrecking ball against civilization - "Harvard’s Presidential Task Force on Combating Antisemitism released a sprawling 300-page report last week that attempts to confront the antisemitism festering on its campus. But beneath its ambition lies a troubling truth: antisemitism has become embedded in the ideological core of many universities. And the real question is no longer just how to address it — but whether universities can even be rehabilitated at all. This crisis didn’t begin on October 7, 2023. That day, when Hamas terrorists murdered and raped innocent civilians, merely revealed the moral decay that had taken root over decades. Since the early 2000s, university campuses have been infected by movements like “Israeli Apartheid Week” and BDS — activist campaigns masquerading as academic inquiry, laying the groundwork for today’s open hostility toward Jews and Israel. This week, the National Post declared: “You can’t be openly Jewish at TMU.” Students at Toronto Metropolitan University report being isolated, harassed, and afraid. At Columbia University, over 50 pro-Palestinian students were arrested for occupying a library, damaging property and disrupting campus life. This is not protest — it’s intimidation. And it has become the new norm. Back at Harvard, Rabbi David Wolpe, who served as a visiting scholar, shared his chilling experience in the Free Press. At a Sukkot celebration at the Divinity School, a speaker began by assuring the crowd that it was “a safe space for anti-Zionists, non-Zionists, and those struggling with their Zionism.” In other words: not safe for Jewish students proud of their identity. Wolpe described Israeli students being mobbed and assaulted; Jewish students ghosted by friends; professors eliminating Israeli sources from their syllabi; and required readings teaching that Zionism is a manipulative colonial ideology. Incredibly, “privilege training” was offered to Jewish students — not to support them, but to reframe them as oppressors. It’s hard to imagine that after the horrors of October 7 — murders, rapes, mutilations committed by terrorists wearing the keffiyeh — students today are proudly wearing that same garment as a symbol of solidarity. The keffiyeh, co-opted by Yasser Arafat — the lead terrorist of his time — has become a symbol not of heritage but of terror. Its normalization on Western campuses is no different than wearing swastikas in the 1930s. And yet, here we are again. But this isn’t only about Jews. The warning that “what starts with the Jews doesn’t end with the Jews” is more relevant than ever. The antisemitism on campuses today is the tip of an anti-Western, anti-democratic movement masked as social justice. It seeks to dismantle Judeo-Christian values, freedom of thought, and liberal democracy. Some call it wokeism. Whatever the name, its goal is clear: to destroy Western civilization from within. Wolpe praises Harvard’s report for acknowledging the hate — but notes it offers no solution for the ideological bias entrenched in faculties, especially in the humanities and social sciences. Where once it was obvious to support the only democracy in the Middle East, today students are shamed and punished for even expressing sympathy with Israel. In Canada, we learned that our government hired a U.K. contractor to monitor pro-Israel social media posts — labelling critics of pro-Hamas protests as “right-wing extremists.” Meanwhile, those glorifying Hamas remain unchallenged. None of these demonstrations have denounced the terrorist group. Some participants even wear Hamas-style insignia. Yet authorities choose to target those who dare defend Israel. History shows that societies turning on their Jewish communities ultimately betray their own values. Harvard now claims it wants to build an inclusive environment. But let’s be honest — this report wasn’t born of conscience. It was born of pressure. The threat of lost funding, lawsuits, and public backlash finally forced their hand. Columbia didn’t call in the police to protect Jewish students — it did so to protect its own reputation. The only way to change universities is to hold them financially accountable. That means suspending government grants, investigating foreign funding, and even reconsidering their charitable status if they enable hate. Academia was once the engine of Western success. Now it risks becoming the wrecking ball. Universities are at a crossroads. They can choose to defend the values that built them — or continue down a path that will destroy them. The time for polite reports is over. What’s needed now is bold action, real accountability, and moral courage."
We are still told that no one is pro-Hamas / no one supports Hamas

Nearly half of young Americans support Hamas, poll reveals - "Nearly half of young Americans support Hamas more than Israel in the ongoing conflict between the two, according to a new Harvard University poll.  Among 18 to 24-year-olds, 48 per cent of those who expressed a view on the war favoured Hamas, with 52 per cent supporting Israel"
We'll still be told that no one supports Hamas

He was Algerian. But they let us all think he was white, because they wanted to weaponize his crimes against the consciences of teenage white boys.  This is exactly the same shit."

Has something really gone wrong with men? - "“The root cause of the current version of the masculinity crisis is, more than anything, inequality,” says Adam Jukes, psychotherapist, author and former director of The Men’s Centre for 35 years. “Inequality puts more pressure on men’s perception of what their role is in society. Many men feel they are no longer ‘providers’. You can’t blame the present generation for that. You can say we shouldn’t have much sympathy for men, but economically and educationally deprived young men are now the most vulnerable of the most vulnerable. It makes sense they are turning to extremism.” We know negative or traumatic experiences in early years have lifelong implications, including in terms of being unemployed, in terms of depression and other health problems."
Of course, according to this article, it has nothing to do with how men are demonized and one solution is... more of the left wing agenda

Netflix's Adolescence inspired by three tragic real-life murder cases - "Speaking about the catalysts for the show, Graham recounted to Radio Times: "There was an incident in Liverpool, a young girl, and she was stabbed to death by a young boy. I just thought, why? Then there was another young girl in south London who was stabbed to death at a bus stop.  "And there was this thing up North, where that young girl Brianna Ghey was lured into the park by two teenagers, and they stabbed her. I just thought, what's going on? What is this that's happening?".  While Graham specifically mentions the murder of Brianna Ghey in 2023, he does not specify the other two cases. However, they may relate to the tragic killing of 12 year old Ava White in Liverpool by a 15-year-old after a dispute over a social media video in 2021, and the death of 15 year old Elianne Andam, who was attacked at a Croydon bus stop by a 17-year-old in September 2023"
For some reason, some people are claiming Adolescence was inspired by  Axel Rudakubana, but it was filmed between July and October 2024, and the Southport attack was on July 29 2024 and the identity of the attacker was only revealed in August.
Hassan Sentamu's murder of Elianne Andam, Ava White's murder and Brianna Ghey's murder all seem to have had nothing to do with incel ideology

Why ethnic-minority boys are more drawn to Andrew Tate - "Although the story is entirely fictional, the writer and actor in the series, Stephen Graham, recently revealed that Adolescence was inspired by the fatal stabbing of Elianne Andam by Hassan Sentamu, among other real-life cases. The show does make some significant departures from the Andam case, however. Andam’s murder took place in Croydon in south London, and both the perpetrator and victim were black. Sentamu also came from a troubled home life, and was reportedly physically abused while attending a boarding school in Uganda. Meanwhile, Adolescence is set in Yorkshire and is centred on a white family, the Millers, which includes teenage murder suspect Jamie. Jamie’s family is a stable and traditionally structured one, having both a father (played by Graham) and a mother who are married to one another.   The show draws attention to the toxic impact of misogynistic online influencers like Andrew Tate. (Tate is explicitly mentioned in the second episode.) In this way, it has fed into the long-standing discourse about Tate and his supposedly broad-sweeping influence over Britain’s young men. Apparently, British schools are filled with hordes of Very Online kids under the spell of either alpha-male Tate-ism or resentful inceldom. In this light, it is worth looking more closely at Tate’s fanbase. While data on this are relatively scarce, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) has carried out some relevant research. Back in 2023, the ISD found that one in five young people between the ages of 16 and 24 had a positive view of Tate, with this increasing for ethnic minorities. Those from a racial-minority background were more likely to view Tate positively – 41 per cent of black respondents and 31 per cent of Asian respondents, dropping down to 15 per cent for white respondents... Young black males are a group disproportionately impacted by fatherlessness. Based on data from the Office for National Statistics, young black people – especially those of Caribbean heritage – are significantly more likely to live in lone-parent households. These will overwhelmingly be families headed by single mothers. This means young black men are the least likely group of young men to have a positive male role model living with them at home – a world away from Jamie’s nuclear family, as depicted in Adolescence, in which the boy is ‘radicalised’ by online influencers."

Kashmir: Hope and fear as tourists trickle back to Pahalgam after attack - "One week after a devastating militant attack near the mountain resort of Pahalgam in Indian-administered Kashmir killed 26 people, the town wears a look of quiet desolation, although tourists have begun trickling back in small numbers.  The main high street, abandoned by visitors last week - with shops shuttered and hotels completely emptied out - is seeing fleeting signs of life again.  Last Tuesday, militants opened fire on people, mostly tourists, who were visiting Baisaran, a mountain-top meadow three miles (5 km) from Pahalgam, often described as the "Switzerland of India"... War of words: Scrabble players are being censored | The Spectator - "For some of us, world war has already broken out. Since 1 January, when a decision to ban 419 ‘offensive’ Scrabble words became ‘law’ on the orders of game owners Hasbro and Mattel, the previously genteel world of competitive Scrabble has become riven with hostility.  The conflict started three years ago when the North American Scrabble Players Association polled its members about the issue. After more than 1,000 ‘passionate responses’, it decided to inflict a word cull. According to the association’s head John Chew, the 91-year-old game needed to be ‘more inclusive’... the ban on hundreds of words has left many players – particularly my fellow travellers in the London Scrabble league – seething. There have been bitter spats, ruptured friendships and high-profile resignations. Author Darryl Francis quit the World English-Language Scrabble Players’ Association in protest, saying: ‘Words in dictionaries and Scrabble lists are not slurs. They only become slurs if used with a derogatory purpose or intent or used with a particular tone and context. Words in our Scrabble lists should not be removed for PR purposes disguised as promoting some kind of social betterment.’  Those who aren’t resigning or arguing are moaning incessantly. And not just because the diktat has robbed them of some useful high-scoring words such as bufty, gammat and lubra. All three have now been deemed capable of causing offence, even though most people have no idea what they mean. Because that is competitive Scrabble’s no. 1 trade secret: to succeed, you often use words whose meaning you don’t know...   It’s hard to find anyone in the Scrabble community in favour of the ban. That doesn’t mean that we approve of any of the banned words, mind you. Among them are some vile racial slurs. But the words can’t be un-invented: they are part of our sometimes shameful history. And playing them in a private word game is very different from using them in any other context. As my friend Vernon, a seventysomething Glaswegian who regularly thrashes me during our weekly London League fixtures, says: ‘I will accept the new rules because I have no option. But I am doing it under duress. It’s madness.’      Vernon’s question is this: who, exactly, is at risk of being offended? Certainly not the eightysomething grannies with whom he and I regularly compete and who often play swear words and then cackle with delight at the naughtiness.  Then there’s the illogicality of it all. The useful, high-scoring word Jesuit, for example, is now banned. As is Jesuitic, which could net you 200 points in one go. ‘Jesuit’ is defined as ‘a member of an order of priests founded by St Ignatius Loyola in 1534 to do missionary work’. Why is this offensive? In some quarters, the word is used to describe attitudes perceived to be straitlaced, or – ironic considering the ban – censorious. What right have people to decide that a word used to denote a deeply held religious belief should be banned? But while Jesuit is banned, religious words such as Methodist and Pharisee (which can be offensive when used pejoratively about rabbis) are not. The list goes on: poof is outlawed. Has anyone told the members of Four Poofs and a Piano, ‘Britain’s most popular covers band’ and one-time house band on the Jonathan Ross Show? Or my gay theatre director friend who is always telling me, usually mid-argument: ‘Jonny. Come on, I know I’m your favourite poof. And you’re my favourite Jew.’... I only mention this because the word Jew has also been banned. As has jewed – meaning to ‘bargain shrewdly or unfairly with’. Nancy, dyke and wooftah are also banned – all capable of causing offence if used wrongly, but all of which I have heard countless people use happily to describe themselves.  I agree in essence with Craig Beevers, the 2014 World Scrabble Champion, who says: ‘The woke brigade are running our game.’ He believes the ban will be ‘the final nail in the coffin for a lot of competitive players’.    How to end the war? A Scrabble Truth and Reconciliation Commission-type event perhaps? We need to do something. Friendships are being ruptured; world-class talent is being lost from the game, perhaps for ever. But no peace settlement is in sight. Vernon didn’t even want me to use his real name in this article as he was worried about a social media backlash.  What, I wonder, would Alfred Mosher Butts make of it all? He was the kindly New York architect who invented the game in 1931 and lived comfortably off the royalties until he was 93. Wise man that he was, he would surely be asking: where will it end? What word will they come for next? His own surname, perhaps?"

Links - 9th June 2025 (2 - Trans Mania: UK Supreme Court Ruling)

UK Supreme Court says legal definition of ‘woman’ excludes trans women, in landmark ruling - "Britain’s Supreme Court ruled unanimously that the definition of a woman in equality legislation refers to “a biological woman and biological sex,” sparking celebrations outside court among gender-critical campaigners but warnings it was a “worrying” development for transgender people.   The case centered on whether trans women with a gender recognition certificate (GRC) – which offers legal recognition of someone’s female sex – are protected from discrimination as a woman under the nation’s Equality Act 2010... If transgender women with a GRC were afforded the same protected characteristic as biological women under the Equality Act, Hodge said, they would possess “greater rights than those who do not,” citing provisions relating to pregnancy and maternity leave."

Wilfred Reilly on X - "Worth remembering that the Trump administration, without a ton of fanfare, adopted basically the Brit standard for sex definition here weeks ago."

Trans NHS patients can access every women-only space in London - "All NHS hospitals in London are refusing to comply with single-sex laws to stop transgender people using women-only spaces... An analysis reveals there are no single-sex spaces for women across the NHS in London, whether for patients or staff, who are forced to share changing facilities and bathrooms with trans women.  It comes days after the Supreme Court ruled that trans women were not legally women, with the Government saying it would “provide clarity and confidence for women and service providers such as hospitals”.  But an analysis of 28 hospital trusts in London found none could guarantee single-sex spaces, while some openly opposed Government demands... The website of Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust tells patients their “privacy and dignity is really important to us, which is why you’ll be placed in a single-sex bay”.  But its policy, obtained under freedom of information (FoI) laws, says there may be “instances when sharing accommodation with the opposite gender reflects personal choice and may therefore be justified” if consent is obtained from those in the area, and seemingly conflates sex and gender... Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust likens moving a trans woman out of a women-only ward to racism... Two trusts have taken it upon themselves to alter the wording of the policy through conflating sex and gender. Whittington Health NHS Trust and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust claim to have “eliminated mixed gender hospital inpatient accommodation” instead, therefore allowing patients to self-identify as a woman.  All the trusts seemed to have links to controversial charity Stonewall and the research revealed a correlation between trusts ranked higher by the charity’s equality index and the clauses their guidance contains... Campaigners said public materials claiming single-sex spaces existed were “deceitful” and “a pack of lies”, when all hospitals operate gender self-identification by “stealth”... Before the general election, Sir Keir Starmer said it was important to “protect female-only spaces” and suggested the NHS should adopt “side rooms” for transgender patients, but nothing has changed almost a year on."

Meme - Anas Sarwar @AnasSarwar: "I’ve always called for the protection of single sex spaces on the basis of biological sex.  This judgment gives clarity to women and service users about the protections in the Equality Act.   The SNP Government must provide clear guidance for Scottish public services so they can implement the Equality Act properly to uphold dignity for all."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know: "As leader of the Scottish Labour Party, Anas Sarwar told his MSPs to vote in favour of Nicola Sturgeon's GRR Bill and self-ID policy which would have opened up women's single-sex spaces to biological males."

Meme - Nick Buckley MBE @NickBuckleyMBE: "It turns out that the woman who writes fiction is more correct than the woman who writes laws."
"Stella Creasy: 'JK Rowling is wrong - a woman can have a penis'. 'Sometimes you have to break cover and be controversial,' says the MP for Walthamstow and passionate campaigner for women and mothers"

What happened to all those female penises, Keir? - "Women have penises. Men can grow cervixes. Babies aren’t born with a biological sex. Show me a batshit take on transgenderism and I’ll show you a high-profile Labour Party figure who has gladly spouted it. Like those Thai cave boys a few years ago, Keir Starmer and his mob became so lost down the gender rabbit hole they needed some external miracle to break them free.   Well now they’ve got it. The landmark Supreme Court ruling yesterday is surely Labour’s opportunity to slowly back away from the crime scene...   The initial noises from His Majesty’s Government are simultaneously encouraging and hard to take seriously. Minister for women and equalities Bridget Phillipson has suddenly remembered the w-word in her title. ‘We have always supported the protection of single-sex spaces based on biological sex’, she says, with a straight face. This is the same Bridget Phillipson who said transwomen in possession of a penis are legally entitled to use the women’s loos. That wasn’t even a year ago.  I suppose you can’t blame her entirely for the confusion. Her boss spent the best part of five years publicly wrestling with what you might call The Penis Question, before he was elected prime minister and journalists felt compelled to ask him other, less humiliating questions. In the end, he famously settled on 99.9 per cent of women not having a penis. Which would still mean tens of thousands of female penises out there in the wild.   Where are they now, Keir? Now that five Supreme Court justices have made the bleedin’ obvious sayable again, will he listen to them where he refused to listen to voters, feminists and the few remaining sane people within his own party? Perhaps this former human-rights barrister doesn’t know what to think until he’s had it relayed to him by top-ranking members of the legal profession. He certainly didn’t want to take Rosie Duffield MP’s word for it, who was hounded out of Starmer’s supposedly ‘moderate’ Labour for daring to cling to her heretical view that biology exists... The trans takeover of Labour speaks to how susceptible the technocrats are to mania. These supposedly smart people have trained themselves out of common sense. They belong to an overeducated caste that defers blindly to expertise. That is naturally suspicious of what ordinary people believe to be true. That thinks the counterintuitive idea, the one that is hard to understand and even harder to explain, must be superior. They will happily believe that 2 + 2 = 5, men can become women, and insanely expensive windmills will bring down energy costs, if someone with letters after their name says so.   It also speaks to how visionless our rulers have become. Bizarre ideas have so deranged governments across the West precisely because they stand for so little. They have no ideology, no vision for society, and so they latch on to transgenderism or critical race theory or climate alarmism to lend some meaning, some semblance of purpose, to what is otherwise power for its own sake. Above all, Labour and mainstream politics more broadly has lost the civilising influence of ordinary people... The more Labour has become the political wing of the professional managerial class, the more prey it has become to the luxury beliefs that percolate in upper-bourgeois Britain.  Indeed, the problem of our age isn’t mass hysteria, but elite hysteria: the establishment’s unnerving capacity to embrace one barmy, toxic idea after another, before quietly dropping it and moving on to the next... ‘Once manias die down, most people pretend they never believed these things to begin with’, writes the ever-wise Lionel Shriver. Perhaps trans extremism will one day be filed alongside the Iraq War, Covid lockdowns and (let us pray) mullets, as things everyone now claims to have always been against. Hence Phillipson’s statement yesterday, claiming she has always been at war with Eastasia... as we try to see off one elite mania, we must be on our guard for the next one to come along. For all the snobbish talk since Brexit of ordinary folk being dangerously suggestible, the battle for TERF Island reminds us of the mote in the establishment’s eye. The elites have gone insane, while voters remain radically sensible. That really is the story of our times."
Trust the Experts!

Starmer’s trans about-turn branded ‘shameless fiction’ - "Sir Keir Starmer has been accused of peddling a “shameless work of fiction” after the Government claimed it had always supported single-sex spaces for biological women.  On Tuesday evening Bridget Phillipson, Labour’s women and equalities minister, told Parliament that “there is no change to announce” following the Supreme Court’s ruling last week that transgender women were not legally women.  Ms Phillipson said: “This Government will continue, as before, working to protect single sex spaces based on biological sex now with the added clarity of this ruling.”  She added: “I know how important it is and always was to survivors to have single-sex spaces based on biology, places of safety after trauma.”  Last year, Ms Phillipson said that trans women could use female toilets if they had a gender recognition certificate.  Kemi Badenoch, the leader of the Opposition, described the minister’s statement as a “shameless work of fiction” and said that “I could not believe my eyes or my ears”. She added: “They’ve never said this before. This is a U-turn, but we welcome it.”  The Prime Minister’s spokesman said earlier on Tuesday that he no longer believes a trans woman is a woman following the landmark judgment. Sir Keir said that the ruling brought “real clarity”.  In an interview in 2022, Sir Keir had said that “trans women are women” and had also previously said it was “not right” to say that only women have a cervix... Earlier, Sir Keir finally broke his silence on the ruling that transgender women were not legally women. He had faced criticism for failing to address the judgment.  In the past, he and other Labour figures have tied themselves in knots when asked to define what a woman is. He repeated his position that “a woman is an adult female”... In 2023, Sir Keir said “99.9 per cent of women … haven’t got a penis”. He later changed his stance, declaring that a woman was “an adult female”, and last June said he agreed with Sir Tony Blair that a woman has a vagina and a man has a penis.  Meanwhile, Ms Phillipson has backed the rollout of unisex lavatories in the wake of the court’s ruling... The Supreme Court ruling is expected to prompt widespread changes across numerous parts of public life, including in elite women’s sport and the NHS."

This is surely Starmer's most shameful U-turn yet - "So Keir Starmer has finally worked out what a woman is, and all it took was an 88-page judgment from five Supreme Court judges... men and women are different; that a certificate cannot change your chromosomes; and that you cannot have sex-based rights if you don’t believe in sex. Soon, I’m sure he’ll be seeking the wisdom of the court on whether the sky is indeed blue and water is indeed wet... What a difference three years make. In 2022, Starmer proudly told a bemused nation that “a woman is a female adult, and in addition to that transwomen are women, and that is not just my view – that is actually the law.” And the less said about his torturous pontifications about the precise number of women who have penises the better.  Can feminists, LGB activists and sane people in general trust him to now root out this poisonous ideology for good? Of course not. He is the anti-conviction politician. An empty, slabheaded receptacle into which any mad idea can be poured, only to be jettisoned when it is politically expedient to do so. Still, Starmer’s volte-face remains a remarkable achievement of the gender-critical movement. They have changed the political weather on the trans debate and forced our human weathervane PM to turn to their position. The high-status opinion no longer reigns supreme. And that’s one hell of a start."

It’s too late for Starmer to switch sides in the culture war - "Labour hounded out of its ranks the MP Rosie Duffield, who was abused by male MPs for saying what the Prime Minister now says is obvious... Clear and unambiguous guidelines need to be issued to public service providers such as the NHS.  These are being drawn up by the Equalities and Human Rights Commission and yet some Ministers are known to be organising against it. They have criticised the chairman, Baroness Falkner, accusing her of misinterpreting the court ruling. She will need the Prime Minister’s full backing. But will she get it?  Judging by the exchanges in parliament, a number of Labour MPs are not happy with the judgment and its implications. How long before the Government performs another U-turn?"

Trans activists’ death threat placards reviewed by police - "The force is examining a series of threatening placards carried in central London during a demonstration against the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of a woman.  Two signs showed hangmen figures alongside the phrase “the only good terf is a ---- one”, another urged women to give themselves a “DIY lobotomy” and a fourth appeared to show bullet holes with the message: “I will make you listen.” The Met initially told The Telegraph it would take no further action over the signs, saying that although it had received complaints about some placards, “to date the images and signs are from historic events, did not take place in London, or do not constitute a criminal offence”.  However, the force changed its position after being presented with evidence from this newspaper that threatening signs had been displayed in central London on Saturday.... Sarah Vine KC told The Telegraph that the hangman placards “clearly cross the line of criminality” and suggested that police would have “no difficulty in making a decision to charge the responsible person” if the situation were reversed.  She said: “Any reasonable person looking at the message “The only good terf is a ---- terf” would be likely to believe that immediate violence would be used against anyone perceived as a ‘terf’.”  The barrister added: “If the word ‘terf’ were to be replaced by any equivalent word – ‘trans woman’, ‘Muslim’, ‘Tory’, ‘immigrant’ – I would expect the police to have no difficulty in making a decision to charge the responsible person.” Police forces faced pressure over their handling of placards and online posts during the Southport riots and pro-Palestine protests. Jewish groups, including the Board of Deputies, have repeatedly criticised the Met for failing to take sufficient action to counter anti-Semitic hate.  During the far-Right riots in the summer of 2024, forces acted with relative swiftness to arrest and charge individuals who incited racial hatred... The term “terf”, used on the two hangman placards, is a slur which stands for “trans exclusionary radical feminist”. Both signs appear to suggest women were better off dead.  The first of these placards emerged after Jo Grady, the University and College Union (UCU) general secretary, shared the image on X, the social media platform, under the caption: “Hate will never win.”  After it was pointed out to her that one of the images showed the sign reading “the only good terf is a ---- terf”, with a cartoon of someone being hanged by the neck, Ms Grady deleted her post and apologised for inadvertently sharing the image... Ms Nettleship, 52, said that she spotted the placard reading “the only good terf is a ---- one” from “across a sea of people merrily chanting: “F--- JK Rowling.”  She said: “I’m not terrified , perhaps I should be – that’s me – a sensible middle-aged woman they want dead. Does his mother know he is holding that sign? Signs like these tell you the nasty, misogynistic underbelly of trans activism is ever present.”  She said the most concerning thing was that “politicians, cops and unions (who were all there) continue to look the other way”... She said that the sign which showed pretend bullet holes in it was “incredible”, and remarked at the graphic nature of the another placard. It was a drawing of a person stabbing themself in the eye with a knife, with the caption: “Are you a transphobe? Why not try a DIY lobotomy?” Ms Maynard, who said she has been campaigning for women’s rights since 2016, said she was not surprised at the nature of the signage, however.  She said: “Suddenly these signs are causing concern, but we’ve been confronted with these signs for years, and far worse.”  Helen Joyce, the director of advocacy at Sex Matters, said: “Some of these signs are impossible to interpret in any way other than encouragement to commit serious violence against women."
Poor, helpless victims who just want to exist. The fascist state needs to respect human rights and not crack down on free speech

Trans activists vandalise Nelson Mandela statue during protest - "A Nelson Mandela statue was one of seven vandalised by trans rights activists protesting against the Supreme Court’s ruling on the definition of a woman.  Sculptures of Sir Robert Peel, Benjamin Disraeli and the suffragist Millicent Fawcett were also defaced by protesters... The Metropolitan Police said it had launched a criminal investigation into the incident, which also saw statues of the Earl of Derby, Viscount Palmerston and Jan Christian Smuts targeted.  The statue of Fawcett, a prominent campaigner for women’s rights in the 19th century, was daubed with graffiti reading “f-- rights”... Sir Keir Starmer, who pledged to protect single-sex spaces during the general election, has not condemned the vandalism.  Kemi Badenoch said Labour must “start defending women” as she reposted images of trans rights protesters holding up signs calling for JK Rowling to be killed on her X account.   The Tory leader said: “A mob of trans-activists waving death threats at women isn’t protest – it’s criminal incitement. If the law isn’t enforced, we don’t have equality, we have two-tier justice. It’s time for Labour to stop being on the side of these extremists and start defending women.” Robert Jenrick, the shadow justice secretary, said: “The law must be enforced equally. Why have there been no arrests or charges for brazen criminal damage?  “Until there is proper punishment for criminality like this, people will continue to do it knowing they can get off scot free. Why will Starmer condemn some politically motivated criminality but not others? His silence is telling. No wonder the public call him Two-Tier Keir.”... “Daubing graffiti on the Millicent Fawcett statue is a message to women that these bitter, violent men are unwilling to respect our rights or boundaries. They may think their actions are clever, but they are a perfect illustration of the reasons we need those boundaries. Men like this have no place in women’s spaces.”... “If the protesters are arguing for these human rights, for women’s rights, for trans rights, and they’re vandalising statues of those people that fought for those rights then it does very much undermine what they’re fighting for.”"

BBC told to apologise as ‘blacklisted’ scientist dismantles trans debate on Question Time in resurfaced clip - "The BBC has been told to apologise for allegedly “blacklisting” a scientist who said changing sex is impossible.  Professor Robert Winston made the remarks in a 2021 edition of BBC’s Question Time programme and viewers say he is “barely on TV anymore”.  After the UK Supreme Court ruled that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex, a video of Winston’s appearance is doing the rounds again on X. In the clip, Professor Winston “categorically” declared that you cannot change your sex... Winston told Fiona Bruce he sensed a wave of hate mail coming his way - revealing it is something he had become accustomed to... “Overall, I think it’s a sad thing we can’t discuss biological science without getting into this emotional argument.”... Winston, who is one of the UK’s best-known scientists, used to present BBC programme How Science Changed Our World."
Weird. I thought sex and gender were different and only ignorant people didn't know that
Robert Winston is a biologist, Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College London. It's sad that his transphobia and hate has clouded his judgment and made him ignorant and hateful

Genevieve Gluck on X - "In response to the UK Supreme Court decision ruling that 'woman' refers to females, trans activist Charlie Craggs tells @Channel4News  that he doesn't want to use facilities with "predatory men," that he is "looking forward" to lesbians being hurt, and that the ruling doesn't affect him because "what are you going to do, put me in prison?"  Charlie, no one would be questioning women about their sex if there weren't men like you lying about being women. If women are being harassed, it's your fault."

James Esses on X - "🚨A whistleblower from @Girlguiding  has been in touch.  Volunteers have been instructed that, irrespective of the Supreme Court judgement, boys who identify as girls can use female camp rooms and toilets. Worse still, parents must not be told.    This is a safeguarding nightmare."

Darren Grimes on X - "🚨 NEW: Civil servants are now threatening strikes because trans-identified men can’t use women’s toilets.  Yes—strikes. Over the basic right of women to have single-sex spaces.  Their union says this is “segregation” and wants to launch legal challenges against the guidance—which simply upholds the law after the Supreme Court confirmed gender means biological sex.  Imagine thinking women’s privacy is the problem, not the ideology trying to erase it.  Britain’s had enough of this madness and the institutions enabling it."
Left wingers love unions because they're easy to take over and use to push the left wing agenda

Sall Grover @salltweets: "NO. THE ANSWER IS NO."
Venice Allan @roseveniceallan: "Transgender is the only protected characteristic that demands other people take their clothes off in front of them."
Sall Grover @salltweets: "I’ll never forget when @WomenReadWomen said to me, something along the lines of, “when gender identity is a protected characteristic, it means that a sexual fetish is a protected characteristic.” Often, with more rights than actual women."

ripx4nutmeg on X - "BBC News has polled five people on the Supreme Court ruling that women are women and found they all disagree with it. The five are four cross-dressers and a woman who says she's non-binary. The BBC adds that the survey should not be treated as 'scientific'"

Britain’s biggest union allows trans woman to run in female seat - "Sir Keir’s Government accepted the Supreme Court ruling last month despite the Prime Minister indicating in the past that not all women were biologically female. Ministers are now facing a number of legal challenges from trans activists and campaigners, including the UK’s first transgender judge. Victoria McCloud is planning to take the Government to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), claiming to feel “contained and segregated” by the Supreme Court ruling. The Good Law Project, founded by Jolyon Maugham KC, also claims human rights have been breached after ministers backed a ban on transgender people using women’s toilets. Waple said: “Unless advised otherwise by Unison, if elected I intend to take my seat on the NEC. “The biggest threat to women’s rights is not trans people, but rather the one per cent of super-powerful rich, clinging to their wealth and denying real funding for housing, domestic violence services and women’s services. “The undemocratic and unaccountable Supreme Court ruling plays to the false narrative and agenda that trans people are a threat to women and will only serve to create a climate of fear among trans people.”"
Bev Jackson on X - "For years, women and LGB people have been highlighting and combating a misogynistic, unlawful takeover of UK institutions by the gender identity cult. The law has now been clarified. But captured institutions from the civil service to trade unions are openly defying the law. This is a serious situation. Without the rule of law, society descends into chaos."
I like how attacking judges is normally a Danger to Democracy, but when judges correctly interpret the law and it threatens the left wing agenda, suddenly they are "undemocratic and unaccountable"

Meme - Sall Grover @salltweets: "If an accurate definition of the word “woman” makes you feel less safe, there’s a chance that the greatest risk to you is yourself."
"Members of Suffolk Pride were asked if they felt less safe since the Supreme Court ruling"

Liberals turn killers, racists, and haters into martyrs

Douglas Murray: Liberals turn killers, racists, and haters into martyrs

Why do parts of the left and the media keep asking for sympathy in all the wrong places?

In recent months, we have had to put up with crazed activists like Taylor Lorenz claiming that Luigi Mangione is a “revolutionary” and a “morally good man” because she finds him “handsome.”

Unfortunately, he is also on trial for gunning down a father of two in cold blood on Sixth Avenue.

In the eyes of many people, that still counts against a man.

And then there has been the bizarre defense of absolutely anybody whom ICE has tried to deport.

It doesn’t matter whether the people being deported are gang members, violent criminals or serial abusers: If ICE wants them out, then the illegals must be defended.

In quick succession, we went from protesters and Democratic lawmakers objecting to ICE taking illegal aliens from their homes, to protesting when they are taken to a courtroom.

Then there was the case of Hannah Dugan, the Milwaukee judge who was arrested in April.

She is accused of helping an illegal alien to evade arrest.

But rather than see the law take its course, Democrats kept suggesting that it was the Trump administration that had broken the rules, not the judge, and the judge who deserves our sympathy.

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers claimed that the Trump administration was “undermining the judiciary,” and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called her arrest “an attack on the separation of powers.”

But isn’t it a bad idea for a judge to try to help someone evade the law?

Doesn’t it “undermine the judiciary” for a judge to apparently help a man accused of battery to slip out of her courtroom through a side door so that waiting federal agents could not detain him?

And if you think so, then why make a hero of Dugan?

Why pretend that what she is accused of doing is in any way excusable?

Why not at least wait for the law to take its course — and not make heroes of people who have done deeply unheroic things?

It is the same here in New York, where the authorities, student groups and others continue to try to make a “free speech martyr” out of Mahmoud Khalil.

In their estimation, Khalil was simply an exemplary student, even though he wasn’t a student.

And he apparently has to be given all the rights of a US citizen, even though he isn’t a US citizen.

Just because all he did was spend 18 months helping to cause civil unrest and bring about what his group called “the total eradication of Western civilization.”

“But” — so many people said — “Khalil has a pregnant wife.”

In which case you might have thought that Khalil would have tried to be on better behavior while enjoying the hospitality and benefits of this country.

But no — it is he who has to be made into the martyr, he and his family who have to be given the sympathy, and he and his family who have to be said to have suffered so much.

This week, this strange desire to extend sympathy to the worst people reached a bizarre new height.

Habiba Soliman is the daughter of Mohamed Soliman.

He is the man who was in this country illegally and who last week firebombed Jewish Americans while they were protesting peacefully in Boulder, Colo.

You might have thought in the wake of that gruesome attack — an attack that Soliman had apparently been planning for a year — sympathy might go to a number of people.

Most obviously, you might think that it would go toward the 12 people who were badly injured in Soliman’s attack — victims including a Holocaust survivor, set on fire on the streets of a US city.

By a man who should never have been here.

And who seems to have had links with Hamas.

But oh, no.

The real victims — we are being told — are Soliman’s family.

Because the immigration authorities have looked at Soliman’s illegal status and have arrested his wife as well as Habiba and her four siblings.

Why should the sympathy go to them?

Well, take the title of USA Today’s story on the case: “Habiba Soliman wanted to be a doctor. Then, her father firebombed Jewish marchers in Boulder.”

Oh, no!

If only that little stumbling block hadn’t arisen, we could have had another doctor in about a decade.

What a bummer.

CNN chose to go with a similar angle, saying, “The family’s arrest threatens to derail what looked to be a promising academic career for Soliman’s oldest daughter, who graduated days before her father’s attack and had recently won a ‘Best and Brightest’ scholarship from the Colorado Springs Gazette.”

We have been told that before the attack, Habiba Soliman apparently wrote an application for a scholarship in which she said that being in the US, “I learned to adapt to new things even if it was hard. I learned to work under pressure and improve rapidly in a very short amount of time. Most importantly, I came to appreciate that family is the unchanging support.”

And then her dad decided to carry out a terrorist attack.

As a result, it is Soliman’s family who are now being pitied.

While the victims of their family member, ranging in age from 25 to 88, are swiftly passed over.

The Trump administration has repeatedly said it wants to prioritize the deportation of people who are in the US illegally, who have committed crimes and who support terrorism.

It is an effort not only to clear up the open borders mess left by President Joe Biden — or whoever was in charge of the autopen in those years.

It is also an effort to dissuade violent criminals and terrorists from thinking this country is an entirely safe space to operate from.

But there is a cost to committing crimes.

And there are costs for carrying out acts of terrorism.

If one of those costs is inconvenience to your loved ones, then perhaps you should think twice about it first.

Because the sympathies of the American public have been stretched quite far enough.

UK attack suspect not a Muslim or asylum-seeker as claimed by far-right - "The suspect was named on Thursday as 17-year-old Axel Rudakubana, born in the UK to Rwandan parents. Local media reported the suspect comes from a family "heavily involved with the local church."  But the false information spread by far-right groups led to anti-Muslim and anti-immigrant riots even as mobs also clashed with police outside a mosque, the first of several violent riots across the country."
From August. This aged well. Of course, left wingers will still claim it was misinformation because from what "we" "knew" at the time, it was fake news that he was Muslim

PeterSweden on X - "ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. A British man was sent to 3 years prison for posting "misinformation" on X that the Southport stabbing was a "terr*rist attack" among other things. Now it has been revealed that it was indeed a terr*r attack and the attacker had al-qaeda material."
Teen accused of fatally stabbing 3 girls at U.K. dance class made ricin and had al Qaeda training manual, police say

Darren Grimes on X - "I’m outraged. I feel sick. Initially, we were told these poor girls had been killed by a Christian from Rwanda. Now we know that couldn’t be further from the truth. Axel Rudakubana, the 18-year-old accused of the brutal murder of three young schoolgirls and attempted murder of 10 others in Southport, is also now charged with attempting to create a biological weapon using the lethal toxin Ricin.  But it doesn’t stop there. Merseyside police have hit Rudakubana with a second new charge under the Terrorism Act for possessing an Al-Qaeda terror manual. This bombshell comes after three months in which authorities repeatedly said there was no evidence linking this horrific act to terrorism. Now, they’re telling us a very different story.  According to Chief Constable Serena Kennedy at a Merseyside police press conference, new evidence surfaced after officers searched Rudakubana’s home. Among the findings was a suspicious substance, sent to the Government’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory at Porton Down. The result? Ricin—the deadly poison. Thankfully, authorities confirm it wasn’t used in the Southport attack, with no traces found at the Hart Space venue where the horror unfolded.  Rudakubana now faces three counts of murder, 10 counts of attempted murder, and a charge of carrying a bladed weapon. Those he’s accused of killing—Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine—were at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class when they were attacked, alongside eight other children and two adults who were injured.  But it gets darker still. Merseyside police report that Rudakubana also had a PDF file titled Military Studies in the Jihad Against the Tyrants: the Al-Qaeda training manual, a document that’s all too useful for someone looking to commit an act of terror. Chief Constable Kennedy confirmed this charge, explaining it under section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.  The aftermath of this tragedy has already seen widespread unrest across towns and cities in England and Northern Ireland. And today’s revelations? They’re bound to stir more. Merseyside police are already on high alert, ready to deploy additional resources if necessary.  Chief Constable Kennedy sought to reassure the community, pledging justice for the families of Bebe, Elsie, and Alice, the 10 injured victims, and all who were present that day. “We are also committed to being open and transparent with our communities,” she said, though also mindful of not jeopardizing the ongoing legal process.  Despite these chilling new charges, Counter Terrorism police have yet to officially declare the Southport attack a terrorist incident. Rudakubana is set to appear before Westminster magistrates court tomorrow to face these new charges."

"Misinformation" is whatever threatens the left wing agenda

Anti-immigration riots are escalating in the UK. Here's how misinformation spurred violence - "Anti-immigration riots are causing havoc across the UK after social media posts falsely claimed the suspect of the Southport stabbing attack was a Muslim immigrant...  The teenager was born in Cardiff, to Rwandan parents, and is not of the Islamic faith.  His misidentification has perpetuated "harmful stereotypes and prejudices" and provoked Islamophobia, according to the Executive Director of the Islamophobia Register Australia Dr Nora Amath."
Right-Wing Extremists Embarrassed Twice by Mistakenly Labelling Non-Muslim Southport Suspects as Muslims - "Southport killer Axel Rudakubana, a 17-year-old Rwandan Christian whose identity became known through a Judge’s decision... they both had a right-wing manufactured history of supposedly being Muslim.  In what is sure to cause a major double embarrassment for the sameright-wing extremists and their Islamophobic agenda, it correctly turned out that neither of the suspects were Muslim."
Misinformation fuels tension over UK stabbing attack that killed 3 children - "By the time a judge said the teen suspect could be identified, rumors already were rife and right-wing influencers had pinned the blame on immigrants and Muslims.  “There’s a parallel universe where what was claimed by these rumors were the actual facts of the case,” said Sunder Katwala, director of British Future, a think tank that looks at issues including integration and national identity. “And that will be a difficult thing to manage.”"

Thread by @StarkNakedBrief on Thread Reader App – Thread Reader App - "This is Jamie Michael.  He is former Royal Marine, who has now found himself fighting against the British state.  This is bc he posted video—genuinely non-violent or "racist"—following second generation immigrant Rudakubana's sick child murder spree.  A review of his case. Thread 🧵
Last August, dozens of non-violent Southport protesters pleaded guilty to various charges, raising eyebrows as their sentences didn’t seem to reflect the severity of their “crimes”. Many suspected Sir Keir Starmer’s push for fast-tracking cases, offering reduced sentences for guilty pleas, while remanding those who pleaded not guilty in custody for months on end played a role. But not everyone submitted to the system. Some fought back. One of those was Jamie Michael, a 45-year-old former Royal Marine Commando. His alleged crime? Posting a Facebook video. The video came after the brutal murder of Alice da Silva Aguiar (9), Bebe King (6), and Elsie Dot Stancombe (7)—by Axel Rudakubana. For that post, police arrested Jamie for “publishing threatening material… intending to stir up religious hatred,” under the Public Order Act 1986.
Given the charge, one would expect the video to be damning. But by any objective measure, it wasn’t. He talked about the ‘Roma Riots’ in Leeds, the Rochdale police station attack post Manchester Airport incident, the stabbing of army officer Mark Teeton on his doorstep, the Southport murders and the machete fight in Southend On Sea—all which occurred within weeks of each other. He questioned details of the Southport murder, speculating that the then-unnamed suspect came with a migrant family that had been radicalised. He urged viewers to act, but not with violence. “Go to the councillors, go to the police, go to the politicians… You need to start standing up and organising, okay, which doesn’t mean getting bats and knives and stuff and going and doing what they do. That’s not what I’m talking about.” He called for increased security at schools and parks, warning, “These f*cking psychopaths are going to start targeting our kids.”  No racial focus. One mention of a mosque. An explicit call for peaceful organisation.
The only apparent error? He thought the suspect was a first-generation immigrant, not second—a mistake that, under the Online Safety Act, could ironically justify his arrest if police decided he made the statement knowingly. But they haven’t.
Days later, South Wales Police arrested him at home.  Listeners reporting on his trial this week revealed officers first downplayed it, telling him there was “nothing to worry about.” Then, they took him into custody.  He remained in custody for 3 weeks—for a social media post. Jamie wasn’t the only one arrested under this charge. South Wales Police arrested five others, granting bail to three—a 27-year-old from Penarth, and a 33-year-old woman and 39-year-old man from Blaengwynfi, Neath Port Talbot—but not Jamie...
Prosecutors first accused Jamie of “inciting racial hatred,” arguing that his words could provoke racial tensions. His lawyers countered that he was exercising free speech, raising concerns over unvetted migration and rising violence. They then played the video and showed bodycam footage from his arrest.  Next up was his police interview, revealing that he repeatedly called for peace, denied racism, and defended his right to criticise media bias and government failures. This is when he also specified that he was talking about "illegal immigrants" in the original video.  Then, came the revelation of the day... Reports revealed that Buffy Williams, a Welsh Labour Senedd Member for Rhondda, instructed her communications officer, Ryan Evans, to file a complaint to police about Jamie’s video. That complaint ultimately led to his arrest.
A politician reported a citizen for political speech. The police acted swiftly. And the legal system accommodated it. This naturally raised questions among sceptics over whether the arrest might be political, which our tragically vague speech laws naturally accommodate. Perhaps it provides more insight in the minds of modern Labour politicians: expressions of the "wrong" politics, although clearly not incendiary or “racist”, must be reported, punished, and stopped. For reference, in 2020, CCTV captured two Black Lives Matter protesters committing overt acts of violence. Jonathan Daley kicked a police officer—he avoided jail. Shayden Spencer threw a metal fence at fleeing officers—he avoided jail. Reports don’t clarify whether either was remanded in custody until their guilty pleas and sentencing. Now, if Jamie is found guilty by the jury on Thursday and subsequently jailed, it would mean words—peaceful words—have been punished more harshly than physical violence, once again. Sentencing Council guidelines suggest that if his crime is deemed ‘high culpability’ and ‘high harm’, he faces between three and seven years in prison."

Ex-Man United apprentice not guilty of racial hatred on Facebook - "James Wilson, prosecuting, said Mr Michael's tone in the video had been "unrelentingly negative" towards migrants.  But Adam King, defending, said it was "beyond obvious" the strong language did not refer to all migrants.  He added: "The overall tone and message is totally fair enough – do more to stop child murderers or similar from coming into the country, go to the police or politicians with practical ideas for how to protect children. These are not mad ideas.""

Mario Nawfal on X - "🚨🇬🇧TIKTOK RIOT LIVESTREAMER JAILED - UK GOES FULLY DYSTOPIAN  Care worker Cameron Bell was jailed for 9 months after she livestreamed a group of masked and hooded men making racist comments on TikTok after a riot in Staffordshire.  Despite the fact she was not present during violence at the town's Holiday Inn Express, Judge John Edwards said Bell’s comments on the livestream were abhorrent and had the "potential to fan the flames.”  He accused her of being “involved in violent disorder” and said her action demanded immediate custody to act as a deterrent to others.  Freedom of speech is officially dead in the UK."

Why the ‘two-tier Keir’ jibe isn’t going away | The Spectator - "Anyone concerned about criminal justice in Britain will find the well-documented glee of the 1,700 prisoners given early release around the country this week galling indeed. As domestic abusers and career criminals walk free, many will have been struck by the contrast with the government’s response to last month’s riots, bringing to mind that most irresistible of epithets: ‘two-tier Keir’.  In the Commons, Reform UK leader Nigel Farage duly used his first ever question at PMQs to punch this bruise. Many of those leaving prison will be effectively swapping places with those arrested last month in the disturbances following the barbaric Southport attack. While some of those locked up were violent rioters, others, said Farage, were merely ‘those who have said unpleasant things on Facebook and elsewhere on social media’ (like the grandmother and sole carer to her elderly husband, Julie Sweeney, given 15 months for a single crass Facebook post). Then came the question: ‘Does the Prime Minister understand that there is a growing feeling of anger in this country that we are living through two-tier policing and a two-tier justice system?’   Unsurprisingly, Farage’s question met with loud groans and jeers from the Labour benches, and with the PM not answering. Labour really does not want to talk about two-tier policing, with Starmer insistent it is a ‘non-issue’. Last month, after the billionaire owner of X, Elon Musk, stung the Prime Minister by labelling him ‘two-tier Keir’, Labour MPs had to be warned to steer clear of the topic entirely on social media by their chief whip. Others are rattled, too. Think of prickly Sir Mark Rowley, the Met commissioner, slapping away a reporter’s microphone when pressed on it, or attempts in the mainstream press to dismiss it as a ‘myth’. Yet the question continues to be asked. Labour’s technocratically minded politicians would no doubt love to be able answer it by saying that the police, the courts and the justice system are independent of ministers and should be left to get on with the job. But such an excuse is no longer credible.  After all, the whole country has just witnessed how the wheels of British justice, just as they did in 2011, can be made to speed up or slow down at the command of Starmer the prosecutor.  The PM’s crackdown on the riots was fierce. At their height, Starmer was giving regular press conferences denouncing all those involved as ‘far right’. As they raged, he notably refused multiple opportunities to say that while the violence was wrong, it might reflect some underlying grievances that ought to be addressed. Instead, he pledged to raise a ‘standing army’ of police offers against his own citizens, introduce authoritarian facial recognition technology and so-called ‘preventive action’ to snag prospective rioters ‘pre-crime’. His Home Office proved so eager to boast of reaching 1,000 arrests on social media that, as the Free Speech Union has argued, it may well have placed itself in contempt of the very court system it’s in charge of.    Labour has sought to take political credit for all this, with Starmer pledging to ‘take all necessary action to keep our streets safe’. Indeed, just as grandmothers and 11-year-olds were being fast-tracked into custody, the PM is in the process of fast-tracking honours for those who helped put them there – especially, as Guido Fawkes reports, ‘community leaders’, who ‘made sure targeted groups felt safe’.  Yet while Starmer may have enjoyed playing the tough guy, his highly visible crackdown will in the coming years pose a major problem for Labour when it comes to law and order and two-tier policing. He has demonstrated a simple principle: where there is sufficient political will, criminal justice can be swift and unforgiving. Which means that every time it appears lackadaisical and soft-touch, it will be seen as a political choice – as indeed it is. Post-Southport, anytime anything even smacks of two-tier justice, the cry of ‘two-tier Keir’ will inevitably go up.    Back in July, two men were caught on camera appearing to assault three police officers inside Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport, leaving all three with head injuries, including a female officer with a broken nose. Yet the suspects, brothers Muhammad Fahir Amaaz, 19 and Amaad Amaaz, 25, have not yet been charged. Why has Starmer, who has long sought to position himself as defending the police, or the Home Secretary, who this week called anti-police violence a ‘stain on our society’, said nothing about this? Could it have anything to do with the fact that after their initial arrest, a sectarian mob assembled at Rochdale police station to demand their release and issue threats?  Indeed, it seems the authorities are more interested in pinning the blame for this incident on the police officers who were attacked. Two officers remain under investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct, with one suspended, after footage emerged of the infamous head kick against one of the suspects. It was only when the Manchester Evening News published further footage that showed the men attacking the officers that this narrative started to unravel. Now, the MEN reports that it is being menaced by an IOPC investigation asking it to reveal its source. (Quite rightly, the paper is refusing to be bullied.) It seems that an alleged leak of the footage of this potential offence is deemed more serious than the offence itself.   Or take the case of Mohamed Osman, who threw a can at protesters amid disorder in Bristol following the Southport attack, and pleaded guilty to violent disorder. Mohamed will not do jail time: last week, he received a two-year suspended sentence, though he did get a measly 150 hours of community service. A stark contrast with the fate of Bradley McCarthy, who, also in Bristol, shouted at police and a police dog and engaged in ‘racist football-style chants’ – and received 20 months behind bars. Does anyone think that’s fair?  With the summer holidays over and the anniversary of 7 October looming on the horizon, the capital can likely expect the weekly pro-Gaza marches to soon start up again in earnest. This is another case where apparent double-standards in policing have been on regular display.  n a recent report on the matter by Policy Exchange, even the man responsible for the force’s response to the protests, assistant commissioner Matt Twist, concedes that ‘we didn’t get everything right’... everyone remembers that Starmer’s response to the 2020 Black Lives Matter ‘protests’ in London – after dozens of police officers were injured – was to take the knee. It’s something his critics will not let him forget."

Is there two-tier policing in the UK? - "A new YouGov survey shows that many Britons do indeed believe that the police are stricter with some groups and more lenient with others."

Meme - Rachel halliwell @Rachelhalliwel5: "My son, who is 16, will be sentenced on the 3rd of December for the Southport riots. It is his first offence. His sister was groomed raped and beaten at 12 in Southport, she killed herself after being failed by Merseyside police sefton council stanley High School and CAMHS. Her inquest starts 13th January. Her brother is going to prison."

Melissa Chen on X - "As an American transplant in London, I had a vague awareness of the grooming gang scandal What I didn’t know is that it was still ONGOING: Grooming gangs that racially target white girls are still out there & there’s a mass conspiracy to make sure they are not held accountable"
🤍 Unknown Elements 🤍 on X - "A father went to rescue his daughter from being raped. She was in a house with lots of these men. Police arrested the dad and left the girl there. This goes beyond rape its torture. One girl had her 👅 nailed to a table. Another was branded with a hot iron poker, more are dead."

Dad batters schoolgirl with metal bar for wearing make-up then walks free from court - "The youngster was found to have suffered 14 different sites of injury including facial bruising and was also treated for a bite mark to her left temple. She later filed a report to her teachers, and then police telling how her father had previously bullied and abused her over a two year period. This included threats such as: "I will run you over," and "I will kill you," and "I hope you die."... In mitigation, defence lawyer Mr Jawad Babar said, "The defendant is the father of seven children, has taken on board the situation and has completed courses on parenting. He is his wife's main carer. He accepts the way he dealt with his daughter was wrong, but there is a degree of adapting to this new cultural behaviour for him.""
Luckily he didn't tweet about it
Weird. I thought it was racist and xenophobic to say migrants had a different culture from locals

Billboard Chris 🇨🇦🇺🇸 on X - "20 months in prison for a social media post. 6 months for killing a teen with a machete. The UK has gone mad."

Masked Hanley rioter, 21, caught on CCTV throwing brick dodges jail - "A 21-year-old man has avoided jail for his part in the anarchy that rained down on Hanley in the wake of the Southport fatal stabbings. Ibrahim Mir was wearing a balaclava when he was caught on CCTV holding a brick or similar object in his hand during the Hanley riot.  The footage captured in Town Road near his mosque showed him toss the item aside but not in the direction of any members of the public or police officers. He was then seen ‘running off’ with a group of males... [Ibrahim] Mir - described as being a member of the 'opposing group' - has been sentenced to 20 months in prison, suspended for two years, for his role in the day which has seen multiple other rioters locked up."
Luckily, he didn't do anything truly horrendous, like post something left wingers disapprove of on Facebook

Steve Lewis on X - "Even though I pointed out to police at the time that this guy was using actual swastikas, they didn’t arrest him because they deemed his placard to be “historically accurate” (the copper’s actual words)!!! ⁦@antisemitism⁩ ⁦@metpoliceuk⁩"
Niyak Ghorbani (نیاک) on X - "I’ve been arrested by the @metpoliceuk  multiple times—six times, to be precise, just for holding a banner that says “Hamas is terrorist,” a statement that’s literally the law of the land! In total, they’ve nabbed me nine times, the other three for utterly daft reasons, all because I dared to display the actual text of this country’s law. Yet when it comes to Hamas supporters and blatant anti-Semitism, their response is a disgraceful double standard—soft, spineless, and selective. The hypocrisy stinks to high heaven. Shame on you, truly shameful! #TwoTierPolice How’s that? Packs a punch, doesn’t it? @LewisSJ"
Clearly, two tier policing is a myth

BBC London on X - "A man has been arrested after a Nando's worker was hit in the face with a plate by a customer in east London nearly a year ago."
Sarah Phillimore on X - "Man who burns a book arrested immediately. Man who is filmed assaulting a woman gets rather more leisurely police intervention. If I say ‘two tier’ policing that puts me on a watch list. So be it... There were two police officers present in Nandos who were shown the CCTV footage of the attack. They laughed and joked with his wife and let him go. After this very brave young women stuck to her guns and made complaints, and after the video of her assault went viral on line, the police changed their minds and decided to do their jobs. Only took a year!"

PeterSweden on X - "UNBELIEVABLE. A British Police Special Constable was convicted of s*xually assaulting a 14 year old girl in front of her mother. He got a suspended sentence meaning he doesn't have to go to jail. Meanwhile people were sent to years in prison for "offensive" internet posts."
Madam Bè on X - "🚨Hassnain Shahzad, Met Police special constable SPARED jail after groping schoolgirl in Tesco. He put his hand on her bottom inside the store and groped her a second time in the street outside. The judge "slammed" Shahzad for "damaging" the reputation of the Met Police."

Free speech win as Judge throws out case against prosecuted Christian preacher after mob threatened to ‘cut his throat’ for criticising Islam - "CCTV footage revealed Christian preacher, Karandeep Mamman, 33, being assaulted, harassed and surrounded by an Islamic mob for critiquing the Quran.  At a hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court, Mr Recorder G Kelly threw out the case saying that because the Crown had refused to offer any evidence to the charges of religiously aggravated section 4A of the Public Order Act, only a verdict of Not Guilty could be entered against Mr Mamman.  On 14 January 2023, Mr Mamman, who has been supported by the Christian Legal Centre, was exercising his freedom of expression and religion while preaching in Walsall town centre when he was confronted by a group of 20-30 Islamic men and women.  Forming a ring around him, Mr Mamman said the group threatened to take him away, beat him up and ‘cut his throat.’... A witness statement obtained as part of Mr Mamman’s subsequent legal defence said that ‘he wanted to leave but the mob would not let him go.’  The mob followed and remonstrated with him until town centre security appeared and Mr Mamman was allowed to leave the scene.  The CCTV footage also revealed two men assaulting and aggressively ripping apart a sign the Christian preacher was holding.  Listing a series of Christian commands from the Bible, the sign included a symbol suggesting the prohibition of homosexual practice.  The two men, reportedly a homosexual couple, can be seen in the footage calling the police, presumably to report an alleged ‘hate crime.’ As Mr Mamman left the scene, however, police officers arrived appearing to be concerned for his safety and checked if he was ok.  Mr Mamman was therefore shocked to later be invited by the police to a voluntary interview and he was eventually charged under section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 for causing religiously aggravated harassment, alarm and distress.   Mr Mamman told the police said “I did not attack anybody in particular. I was just expressing my freedom of speech”.  Lawyers representing Mr Mamman said that it was ‘an abuse of process to prosecute him for exercising his right to free speech.’  They added that Mr Mamman’s: “conduct in this case was peaceful protest that did not come near what the ECHR described as reprehensible act.”   Furthermore, they said: “It is submitted that this prosecution should be stayed as an abuse of process as [Mr Mamman’s] speech was protected by Article 9 to 11 of the ECHR. To permit this prosecution would undermine public confidence in criminal justice system. What D said was based on historic and religious texts. There were no threats, there was no abuse. There was no invective towards an individual.”  Defending Mr Mamman’s references to Islam terrorism, expert evidence was provided by Dr Martin Parsons. In his evidence, Dr Parsons provided a series of passages from the Quran which reveal the promotion of terror and the 164 verses that mention military Jihad"
Of course, if Muslims preach that all prophets after Muhammed are false, that's just religious expression
