I saw multiple left wingers sharing the same meme, which I intuitively knew was false, so I decided to dig into it myself:

For starters, the majority of the outrage about trans athletes is around grade school sports, certainly because the girls affected are younger and thus deemed more vulnerable. Be that as it may, we can still take the meme on its own terms and show that it is false.
Outsports, which proclaims it is "Proudly LGBTQ+ Owned and Operated *Pride flag* *Trans flag*" and links to Queerty, LGBTQ Nation, Gaycities and LGBTQ Outpost in the top navbar (and thus presumably will not be accused of left wingers of being biased), compiled a list of 47 trans athletes who have competed openly in college sports. Though the article was published in January 2025, it was Updated on October 27, 2026.
Going through the list, here are the transwomen (biological men who identify as women) listed. It wasn't always easy to identify, since "non binary" and similar people are included, but I believe I have managed to remove them:

Outsports also lists Navi Huskey, a "transfeminine nonbinary" whose pronouns are "she/they/yum", Soju Hokari who plays/played Ultimate and Bella Bautista who is listed under "cheer"; both activities' status as college sports is debatable, so I will leave all of these aside, as the point is adequately made even without the technical qualifications.
So how many gallons of diesel can you buy for US$17?
According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration's U.S. On-Highway Diesel Fuel Prices data dated October 27 2026, the most expensive Weekly California No 2 Diesel Retail Price has been $8.246, and this is the highest of all their data series.
So even in the most expensive state in the US, there're enough transwomen in college sports to buy not one, not two but 2.06 gallons of diesel.
In conclusion, left wingers are lying as usual.
