Flopping Aces on X - "Nothing says “we’re a serious national history museum for families” quite like putting a sadomasochistic crotch harness and a “trans nonbinary” chest binder on display while a six-year-old’s diary entry about praying every night for her penis to grow sits nearby. That’s not some rogue progressive art gallery in Brooklyn. That’s the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. The same place that decided Mickey Mouse carries the “vestiges of longstanding traditions of blackface minstrelsy,” the ukulele is a tool of American imperialism, and the Wild West was just white people turning Indigenous subjugation into dinner theater. They also spent 20% of the Benjamin Franklin exhibit asking visitors whether he conducted electric shock experiments on slaves ... with literally zero evidence ... because apparently one of America’s greatest minds needed to be retroactively smeared to make the narrative work. Meanwhile, they elevated Angela Davis, the Marxist who ran for vice president on the Communist ticket and was on the FBI’s Most Wanted list after an armed courthouse takeover that got a judge murdered. Rational thinking and hard work? Those are now listed in their official museum toolkit as symptoms of “White Supremacy Culture.” Christopher Columbus is a murderer, slaver, and thief. The Pilgrims were colonizers. Thanksgiving is a National Day of Mourning. And if you’re a parent walking your kids through this place expecting actual American history, the White House report basically suggests they should post a warning label at the entrance: “Exhibits prepared by people who don’t want you to love your country.” This is the flagship. This is what they chose to do with one of the most important civic institutions in the country. And they’re shocked that someone finally wrote it all down in a 162-page report."

Expecting people to be on time is part of 'white supremacy culture': Duke Medical School - "Duke Medical School claims it is “white supremacy culture” to expect people of color to be on time in a strategic plan for creating an “anti-racist workforce.”... “Some identifiable characteristics of this culture includes perfectionism, belief that there’s only one right way, power hoarding, individualism, sense of urgency and defensiveness.”... According to an article published in the Stanford Social Innovation Review, “timeliness” is a product of capitalism and “professionalism… centers productivity over people, values time commitments, accomplishes tasks in a linear fashion, and often favors individuals who are white and Western.” An article from the UCLA Law Review, published in 2023, calls professionalism a “racial construct.” “It is that the standard itself is based on a set of beliefs grounded in racial subordination and white supremacy. Through this analysis, professionalism is revealed to be a racial construct,” the article said."
African American museum removes controversial graphic defining whiteness - The Washington Post - "The graphic, found in the “Whiteness” section of the Smithsonian museum’s “Talking About Race” portal, described 14 categories of “white dominant culture, or whiteness,” including history, religion, family structure and justice. Hard work, self-reliance, respect of authority and “the nuclear family — father, mother, 2.3 children is the ideal social unit” were listed as attributes of white culture. The chart also included the phrases “win at all costs,” “woman’s beauty based on blonde, thin — ‘Barbie’ ” and “heavy value on ownership of goods, space and property.”... The chart came from a 1978 book, “White Awareness: Handbook for Anti-Racism Training” by Judy H. Katz, according to the museum. It lists about 50 attributes white people used to describe their culture. These attributes, it said, “have been normalized over time and are now considered standard practices in the United States. And since white people still hold most of the institutional power in America, we all have internalized some aspects of white culture, including people of color.”"
7.2: Defining Whiteness and White Supremacy - "Scholar, activist, Chicana feminist Elizabeth Martinez explicitly defines white supremacy as a system that promotes privilege and power of whiteness for white people through institutional entities... a lot of scholarship in Ethnic Studies doesn’t always use the words white supremacy. For example, they might talk about white elitism, white as dominant, etc. Even if scholarship does not explicitly name white supremacy as that, everything that helps to perpetuate the maintenance of white dominance is a part of the system of white supremacy... talking about whiteness has been a way to explain that the construction of whiteness is constantly created and re-created in order to try to maintain superiority. Further, whiteness operates within a system and also works representationally."

Visegrád 24 on X - "Homeschooling is legal in Brazil but a judge has just sentenced two parents to 50 days in prison for “intellectual neglect” because their 11- and 15-year-old daughters, accomplished pianists and polyglots, received no classes on gender theory, sex education, tolerance, diversity and Afro-Brazilian culture. The court argued that they would suffer in their personal lives and interactions with people of their own age from not knowing the Brazilian funk music style, which romantizes crime, life in favelas and is hyper-sexualized. Apart from being accomplished pianists, the two girls speak Portuguese, English and Latin. They also read 30+ classic books per year. The judge was particularly worried when he heard that one of the daughters is particularly fond of Christian music and doesn’t know what funk music is. The judge accused the parents of using their daughters as tools in an “ideological war”"

“Don’t like abortion? Don’t get one.”
“Don’t like gender ideology? Then don’t transition.”
This is a lazy, morally bankrupt argument of a culture that’s traded truth for comfort. We now act as if every serious issue can be reduced to personal taste, just like picking the flavor of our favorite ice cream. We act as if whatever we believe has no implications outside of ourselves. You would never say:
“Don’t like child abuse? Don’t abuse your kid.”
“Don’t like racism? Don’t be racist.”
“Don’t like drunk driving? Then don’t do it.”
Why not? Because we all instinctively understand that some things are just wrong, and not just for you and me, but for everyone, because these things they hurt people, they corrupt innocence and truth, they distort reality, and they destroy the moral foundation we all depend on to live in a functioning society. The idea that all moral issues are private choices is a lie. These things don’t stay in our bedrooms or at clinic or in our heads. They seep into our schools, the media, law, culture, and to the next generation. Everyone pays the price for the lies we choose to accept."
Woke Dem candidate too scared of offending Muslim voters to publicly support gay rights - "A super-woke Democrat running for Congress in Washington state has admitted she’s too scared to come out in support of LGBTQ+ rights because it might upset Muslims, even though they account for a tiny fraction of her district. Melissa Chaudhry, 34, who is running for a second time in Washington’s 9th congressional district after losing her 2024 bid, made the glaring admission in an interview with a local Seattle-based newspaper. Chaudhry, who took her Muslim Army veteran husband’s last name and wears an Islamic headscarf, or hijab, was asked why she had nothing on her campaign website about LGBTQ+ rights, despite insisting she supported their cause. “Because a lot of Muslims do not feel that way, unfortunately,” Chaudhry said in her interview with the Stranger last month. Only 41% of American Muslims believe homosexuality should be accepted by society, compared to 57% of Christians and 82% of Jewish people, according to a 2025 report from the Pew Research Center. The Seattle metropolitan area, which makes up much of Chaudhry’s district, is only around 2% Muslim, according to the Pew Research Center’s “Religious Landscape Study.” In contrast, Seattle has one of the largest LGBT+ populations in the country, with approximately 17% of adults identifying as such, according to the latest US Census. Despite that, Chaudhry insisted she “was careful about her Muslim constituents” in her interview. Chaudhry’s campaign did not respond immediately to requests for comment, and in the wake of the interview, she has rushed to do damage control in the face of criticism from LGBT+ activists. “Our community is not expendable. LGBTQ+ rights are not optional. They are foundational to any candidate seeking Democratic support,” wrote Andrew Ashiofu, chair of Washington Stonewall Democrats, on Facebook earlier this month, prompting a lengthy response from Chaudhry. “If you are queer, and you are wondering if you and your rights are safe with me, I assure you from the bottom of my heart, you are, you have always been, and you always will be,” she wrote. Chaudhry also insisted that she supports her sister, who is “in a homosexual relationship, happily and committedly so,” and is friends with a “disabled lesbian woman, her partner, and their autistic son,” in her response. But her reply drew short shrift from Ashiofu. “I decided not to respond. She’s throwing blame on other people and saying she has LGBTQ+ friends. That’s the same thing as a racist saying, ‘I have black friends,” he told the Stranger."
Damn straight white Christian cis men!
Dan Burmawi on X - "The Western mind, after centuries of moving away from barbarity and cruelty, can no longer comprehend evil without attaching a tangible cause to it. When a mass shooter opens fire, the default assumption is that he must be mentally ill. When rebels take up arms, the explanation is that they must be oppressed. Violence is never seen as an end in itself, it is always framed as a reaction to something external, something rational, something the West can diagnose and fix. That is why Hamas and other terrorist organizations are so disorienting to the Western imagination. Their actions are too grotesque, too irrational, to fit neatly into Western categories of cause and effect. So Westerners scramble for explanations they can live with: “occupation,” “colonization,” “oppression.” They manufacture a tangible reason that makes sense to them, even if it has little to do with the truth. But if we look at history, cruelty has never required a tangible reason. Entire empires conquered, enslaved, and slaughtered not out of desperation or defense, but simply because they could. Vikings did not need oppression to justify raiding monasteries and enslaving villagers. Mongols did not need colonization to rationalize leveling entire cities and piling up skulls. The Aztecs did not need occupation to demand thousands of human sacrifices every year. The idea that cruelty must always have a logical, material cause is a uniquely modern, uniquely Western invention. Islamic terrorism does not operate by those rules. The engine behind jihad is not material grievance, it is spiritual ambition. The reason is not socioeconomic oppression, it is theological conviction. The suicide bomber is not trying to relieve poverty; he is trying to buy salvation. The jihadist who slits throats on video is not traumatized; he is reenacting Muhammad’s example, convinced that every drop of blood shed brings him closer to paradise. Jihad is not a cry for help. It is not the desperate rebellion of the oppressed. It is a religious performance, a soteriological act, a path to redemption."

Comment (elsewhere): "The hardest truth for anyone who thinks this supports their narrative.. The image implies that the UN was creating the idea that food is a human right in 2021 and that the U.S. and Israel simply opposed that concept. In reality, the right to food had already been recognized in international human rights documents decades earlier with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948). The resolution bill that was labeled “The Right to Food” in 2021 didn’t try to make food a legal right, because it already was. It didn’t try to enforce free food for everyone. It just tried to expand upon the already existing law by adding in “food sovereignty” which would reduce availability of food to some regions that cannot effectively grow crops and livestock for themselves. Which would allow enemy nations to create artificial scarcity in nations they wanted to wipe out. So, yes. Everyone should have been against that."

Get a Republican president in office who focuses on changing civil rights law, and things would turn around. Book reviews were very skeptical of this. People talked about woke as a religion. These were true believers who were going to do whatever it took to push DEI. Here we are two years later, and we got a president who followed my suggestions. What happened? A new paper from professors at Princeton and Columbia show that I was correct. Trump came into office, signed a few executive orders, and DEI commitments among corporations in securities disclosures filed with the SEC collapsed. Moreover, the fall was especially pronounced among federal contractors, who have most contact with the government and its rules. The affirmative action regime in contracting is something I discussed extensively in the book. You could've predicted this from The Origins of Woke. Read my new book for insight into what's coming next."
