Requiem was realy quite bad. It has 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, and you know that if the critics love it, it's as likely to suck as rock.

The camera work was really bad, almost giving me a headache (maybe they wanted us to feel what she did). And the ending was horribly abrupt - she was reasonably healthy, sitting in a car and staring into space (the final intertitle followed, stating that the girl had dozens more exorcisms performed on her and she eventually died.

The director said he wanted an anti-audience film. Well, he sure succeeded.

And you wonder why European films don't do well at the box office.

On the up side, at least the protagonist's acting was good.
