Including the writing team, hiring fresh graduates based entirely on test scores or, worse, word of mouth, because they’re cheaper than anyone with actual writing credits, and they don’t understand that a show’s success starts with getting the right people to create it. Hence why season 1’s lead writers had, if memory serves, ZERO previous writing credits, and the directors weren’t much better. Speaking of, that is also why CGI ‘peaked’ more than a decade ago. They are skimping on the directors too, because VFX and SFX aren’t magic patches to put on a show to make it look good, you have to work with the artists to make sure it all comes out well, and newer directors haven’t developed the needed skills yet. So technology is advancing, but because the people running the show are not, we’re now in the awkward spot where films from 20 years ago look better than half of what we have now, because THEIR directors knew how to properly use CGI. And finally, we have scrapbooking. The Star Wars sequel trilogy was a victim of that. Basically, instead of writing one version of a scene, the executives order the writing team to write multiple versions of every scene, film aaaall of them, and let the executives pick what goes where. Which is dumb, because now the actors have triple, quadruple, or quintuple the work, but you can bet they’re not getting the time needed or the pay for it, and the writers don’t have the time or the pay to make multiple different scripts, so they just make a few different versions of each scene in the one script, and the executives then pick and choose which ones go where, and cut scenes entirely if they decide they want to. Not every modern film or show does this, but if an actor just seems completely DONE in a scene, like they do all the time in RoP, or if a scene just seems like it doesn’t belong, it very well could be scrapbooking to blame. There are other problems as well, such as costume design (actress for Galadriel complained about how her armour would dig into her, which, if you know anything about armour design, you know should never happen) and choreography (off topic, but compare Star Wars original/prequel trilogy to sequels, lightsaber fights in sequels are almost entirely full of ‘aim for the lightsaber, not the wielder’ nonsense, while originals/prequels have them aiming to kill. RoP is full of that kind of ‘fight’ choreography), but those can be forgiven if the story is good enough, and in RoP, for the most part, it’s not."

He reigned for 13 years before his state was conquered by the Song dynasty. Historical records report that Liu Chang spent so much time with his harem that he abandoned government affairs.
