Nurses given ‘kindness training’ after criticising trans colleague’s access to changing room - "  Nurses were given “kindness training” after criticising a trans colleague’s access to the female changing room, a tribunal has heard.  Bethany Hutchison is one of eight nurses at an NHS hospital giving evidence at an employment tribunal over their treatment when they complained about a trans colleague using their changing room.  “We have had to go through ‘kindness’ training because of this, and no one who is opposed is allowed to say anything,” Ms Hutchison today told the tribunal in Newcastle.  Ms Hutchison said several colleagues told her they were embarrassed and distressed by having to undress in front of Rose Henderson, a biological male who identifies as a woman. Karen Danson told the hearing on Wednesday that Henderson triggered a flashback to child sexual abuse trauma when they met in the changing room at Darlington Memorial Hospital’s day surgery unit.  She said she became “alarmed” and was left “sobbing and shaking” when her half-dressed transgender colleague “was clearly watching” her in the women’s changing rooms in September 2023."

Trans nurse who used female changing room ‘just a large woman’, NHS says - "A transgender nurse who used a hospital’s female changing room was no different than a larger woman, an NHS boss has suggested.  Eight nurses are bringing a claim against the NHS after Rose Henderson, who was born male but identifies as a woman, was allowed to use the female changing facilities at Darlington Memorial Hospital.  An employment tribunal in Newcastle has previously heard allegations that Henderson, who was bearded, intimidated female colleagues and repeatedly asked one if she was going to get changed.  However, Andrew Thacker, of the County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, said during a hearing on Tuesday that Henderson had not acted in a “threatening” way... The tribunal has heard that nurses started to raise concerns about Henderson using the changing rooms in the summer of 2023.  In one incident, a nurse alleged that a half-clothed Henderson “was clearly watching” her as she was about to get undressed and asked her three times if she was going to get changed.  She said the incident had triggered her post-traumatic stress disorder from child sexual abuse... Ms Shields said in her witness statement: “My assessment is that 80 per cent of the female staff at the time were not happy that Rose was permitted to change in our changing rooms.  “The majority of the people that I spoke to were not happy with it.”  She said she asked her manager: “Why were we expected to share our changing room with a male?”"

Meme - J.K. Rowling @jk_rowling: "I never said and never believed Khelif was trans. I knew* he was a man. The gender activists who created a political climate in which sex testing was seen as 'bigoted' are as culpable as the IOC for the travesty that ensued.

Will it take a death for IOC to get a grip on boxing gender-row lunacy? - "Disqualified from the 2023 Boxing World Championships for failing sex tests, Lin Yu-ting did not even bother appealing. While Algeria’s Imane Khelif initially protested to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the Taiwanese fighter offered no formal objection to test results indicating the presence of male chromosomes. And yet one year later, both of them were given carte blanche to compete on the grandest stage of all, the Olympic Games, with both winning every round of every bout en route to gold medals.  The reason for this travesty of justice was the spinelessness of the International Olympic Committee, so desperate to appease the gender ideologues that it sat back and allowed a procession of women to be smashed in the face by biological males.  At the global level, there has been progress since, with World Boxing – a newly instituted body, and a welcome successor to the IOC’s hopeless “Paris Boxing Unit” – introducing mandatory sex testing to determine eligibility for international events. Khelif, who had previously vowed to sue JK Rowling and Elon Musk for alleged hate speech, promptly withdrew from a scheduled event in the Netherlands. But Lin, it seems, is not taking no for an answer, the 29-year-old entering the Taiwan Games this week and demolishing a teenage opponent so quickly that the fight, in eerie echoes of Khelif’s 46-second mauling of Italy’s Angela Carini in Paris, was abandoned...
Lin Yu-ting, one of the gender-row boxers at last year’s Olympics, has returned to the ring in controversial fashion and beaten a female opponent in 1½ minutes.  Twenty-nine-year-old Lin, who won gold in the women’s featherweight division in Paris, beat Pan Yan-fei, 19, in Taiwan’s National Games.  According to reports, the fight in the women’s 60kg division ended after just 1min 34sec of the opening round after Pan was “subjected to several head shots and appeared short of breath”.  After Pan’s coach threw in the towel, the referee halted the match and the result was recorded as “abandoned”. Lin has not been seen in action at international events since winning a gold medal at Paris 2024 amid the storm of controversy over disputed sex tests.  However, in Taiwan’s National Games, where domestic rules apply, Lin swatted away her opponent with ease."

Olympics ready to ban transgender athletes from all women’s events - "According to World Athletics data, there have been 135 DSD finalists in elite female athletics competition this century.  In a presentation at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo this year, Dr Stephane Bermon, the head of health and science, estimated that 151.9 times more DSD athletes had made finals than the DSD incidence in the general population. World Athletics introduced mandatory sex testing ahead of this year’s World Championships, a move Bermon said was necessary because of an “over-representation” of DSD athletes among finalists."

Spell of trans cult has been broken - "The FA left no doubt that it took this decision, banning men from playing women’s football at all levels, with extreme reluctance. Even in the short statement it issued, there was no reference to the women and girls disadvantaged for years by its genuflecting to the fallacy that people could be whatever sex they purported to be.  There was certainly no mention of the girl punished last year for stating biological reality, or of the many courageous women who have been publicly vilified for opposing the gender ideology it so keenly embraced... Even on this long-awaited day, with three major sports accepting the imperative to exclude males from the female category from the grass roots to the elite, the language was pitifully lily-livered.   “Complex”, the FA called it. What exactly is complex about banning males – forget the label “biological males” in this instance, given the Supreme Court’s clarity that there is no other kind – from competing against females in a contact sport?  The only reason it was ever presented as some fiendish dilemma is because the FA, in common with many supine governing bodies, was more interested in pandering to Stonewall lobbyists and militant trans activists than in defending the truth. While the 2010 Equality Act was crystal clear in declaring that sports should be single-sex wherever a physical advantage existed, it has taken until 2025 for the FA to recognise what was staring it in the face. It is unforgivable.  Not that it is the only institution culpable. The ECB has been equally hopeless: it was presented, two years ago, by The Telegraph, with letters from parents of girls as young as 12, all alarmed that their daughters were being sent into bat against a middle-aged man. Six first-class counties demanded answers, but instead the ECB settled on an absurd fudge, making women’s cricket women-only merely for the elite, while leaving the grass roots – where disparities in power between men and women would be most pronounced – a free-for-all.  The excuse was that volunteer umpires could hardly be expected to conduct on-the-spot sex checks. But how disingenuous is this? All that sport had to do was set out an unambiguous policy prioritising fairness for women. Worry about enforcement later. So long as you have a policy, the other elements will fall into place. And yet the ECB preferred to wrap itself up in vacuous mantras about “inclusion”, all the time oblivious to the fact that its stance was serving to exclude women from their own sport."

Meme - "I asked my husband about times he felt euphoria, he said when he won a big prize for his music, when he got the job he had been working towards, when he managed a big case successfully, when the baby was born, when I agreed to marry him. I then asked "did any of those times give you a euphoria boner?" And his response was to ask if I was completely insane because "Nobody gets an erection just because they're happy. A boner is a sex thing.""

Trans activist ‘deliberately provoked Graham Linehan’ - "A transgender activist deliberately provoked Graham Linehan, the Father Ted co-creator, by putting a camera in his face, a court has heard.  Linehan, the 57-year-old Irish comedy writer, is on trial accused of harassing Sophia Brooks, a trans woman, and damaging the activist’s phone outside a conference in Westminster on Oct 19 last year.  At Westminster magistrates’ court on Wednesday, Sarah Vine KC, Linehan’s barrister, said Brooks – who had been filming attendees at the event – had in fact been harassing Linehan.  In her closing remarks, Ms Vine said Brooks had followed “a course of conduct designed both to provoke and to harass Linehan”.  She told the trial that there was “a doubt, and a reasonable one at that”, whether marks on Brooks’ phone were caused by Linehan’s actions... Ms Bindel told the court: “He had been his usual friendly self [during the conference] and very quickly he appeared like a man who had had enough. He just wanted them to go away.”  She said that the activist also shouted her name and followed her in the streets after the conference, adding: “I felt scared of him.”  Giving evidence for the defence, Katherine Harris, the co-founder of LGB Alliance UK, told the court that earlier in the evening, she saw Brooks stand up with a camera among attendees during a panel discussion.  Referring to the complainant as male, Ms Harris said: “It was a deliberate, intimidatory move on his part and he would not stop. He was photographing anybody and everybody he could, and it felt intrusive and aggressive.  “It felt as though he wanted to get everybody, to get all of us in his power through his camera, to say, ‘I’m the big man here, I can do what I want’. That was the message. The disruption was complete.”"

Met police to end non-crime hate investigations after Graham Linehan case - "The Met police have said they will no longer investigate non-crime hate incidents as the Father Ted co-creator Graham Linehan was informed that no further action would be taken after his arrest over social media posts... “After a successful hearing to get my bail conditions lifted (one which the police officer in charge of the case didn’t even bother to attend) the Crown Prosecution Service has dropped the case. “With the aid of the Free Speech Union, I still aim to hold the police accountable for what is only the latest attempt to silence and suppress gender-critical voices on behalf of dangerous and disturbed men.”... The Met will continue to record non-crime hate incidents to assess potential community tensions."

The Free Speech Union on X - "Former University of Leeds student, @_ConnieShaw , wasn’t just removed from her committee position at Leeds Student Radio. She was faced with potential expulsion from the University of Leeds itself after she interviewed Graham Linehan.   The Free Speech Union, with the help of an external lawyer, wrote Connie a 16 page long legal defence. She was subsequently found not guilty and was allowed to complete her degree.  She was told she could be disciplined again if she spoke about the ordeal publicly. Now that Connie has graduated, she can reveal the full story."

Rosie O'Donnell apologizes for Minneapolis shooter claims - "Comedian Rosie O’Donnell issued an apology for alleging the Minneapolis school shooter was a “MAGA person.”  “I did not do my due diligence before I made that emotional statement, and I said things about the shooter that were incorrect”... “kill Donald Trump” was inscribed on one of the weapons used.   The shooter, 23-year-old Robin Westman, whom federal officials referred to as transgender, died by suicide."

MsMbl🏳️‍⚧️ on X - "I’ll never understand why some feminists see the trans community as a threat to women. I grew up in the 80s, I’m a feminist to my core, and I stood side by side with the gay community for their rights. Now I see women claiming we’re fragile, that we need protecting. That’s not the equality I fought for, it’s the opposite as it is suggesting women are the weaker sex!"
Eva Kurilova on X - "Women ARE the weaker sex and it hurts us to a devastating degree to suggest that isn't true. Plus it's just stupid. And if you believe we aren't, then you have to answer why women are seemingly just allowing themselves to be victims of assault, rape, and murder. If we're just as strong then are we just too stupid to avoid it? Absolutely retarded take. I loath these people."

Christina Buttons on X - "Matt, I conducted an informal survey of detransitioners, many of whom began transitioning as minors. A full 85.7% said their healthcare providers told them that being transgender is a biological or medical condition they had no control over.   That’s blatant misinformation—and it played a major role in their decision to transition. No child or adult can give informed consent when their doctors misrepresent the nature of their condition. These providers have shown themselves to be untrustworthy.  The idea that people are “born transgender” stems from flawed interpretations of studies. I’d be glad to explain what those studies set out to find—and what they really say—if you’re interested."

English cricket facing legal action over transgender ban - "The Good Law Project, led by activist lawyer Jolyon Maugham, has written to the England and Wales Cricket Board demanding it reverse a decision taken just over a fortnight after April’s Supreme Court ruling on single-sex spaces.  The ECB was among a number of sports governing bodies to impose such a ban after the UK’s highest court said only those born female should be deemed women under the 2010 Equality Act.  The Football Association made a similar decision to the ECB – one taken almost three years earlier by the Rugby Football Union – following the ruling in a case brought by For Women Scotland.  The Good Law Project appears to have singled out cricket because of it being a non-contact sport, despite the risk of transgender women having strength and speed advantages over those born female... Canterbury County Court dismissed a discrimination claim brought by transgender pool player Harriet Haynes over a ban on those born male playing in women’s competitions. A judge said he was satisfied exclusion was the only “reasonable” way to ensure “fair competition”... “Blanket bans excluding trans people from playing grass-roots sports can have a serious detrimental impact on those people’s lives. For many trans people, participation in amateur sports isn’t just a way to get exercise – it’s where they find community and make friends... “We find girls and women self-exclude when they are treated as less worthy of protection. And we know including males excludes females from female sport.  “Females are constantly told they ought to move over, stay quiet and give up their rights. This can’t be allowed to happen anymore. It’s up to all sports governing bodies, including in cricket, to make non-conforming males feel safe and welcome in male sport.”  The Good Law Project is also taking the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) to court, accusing it of “violating” trans people’s rights to privacy."
Why are trans people so obsessed with forcing their way into female spaces?
Apparently transwomen cannot make friends playing in co-ed or male leagues. Why are they so sexist and anti-social?

Lib Dem civil war breaks out over trans rights - "The Liberal Democrats are at war over trans rights after the leadership defied its members and banned biological men from taking women’s posts in the party.  On Tuesday, the party banned trans women from taking women’s positions following the Supreme Court’s ruling on biological sex.  The party’s LGBT+ group condemned the decision as “trans-exclusionary” and an “attack” on one of the country’s most marginalised groups... The original rules allowed those who “self-identify as women” to stand for party posts set aside for women, which gender-critical activists said diluted the chance that biological women could reach the top of the party.  After receiving legal advice, the party published the new rules on Tuesday, stating that quotas would be applied to people according to their sex at birth, not with their preferred gender identity... The Lib Dems said its rules would also change to ensure that at least one trans person should sit on all its larger committees. A spokeswoman for Liberal Voice for Women said: “It is good to see the party has taken on board legal advice and is now changing its quotas following the Supreme Court ruling to ensure quotas for women are reserved for women.  “However, we are concerned that the new quota guarantees those with a trans identity at least one place on every committee over 10 people, despite the fact trans people are only 0.5 per cent of the population, alongside the fact there is no evidence they are under-represented on Lib Dem committees.” In May, Sir Ed Davey said he accepted the Supreme Court ruling, but unlike Labour, he initially did nothing to change the party’s rules.  The clash comes under the backdrop of a series of trans rows that have engulfed the Lib Dems.  Last month, a Hertfordshire councillor was suspended after allegedly tweeting a picture of a girl aiming a gun, alongside the words “Shut the f--- up, terf”. A terf is a “trans-exclusionary radical feminist” and the term is used by trans rights activists as an insulting reference to those with gender-critical views. The image was sent to Natalie Bird, a gender-critical party member who the Lib Dems barred from standing for Parliament in 2018, because of her view that there are only two genders."
As with illegal migrants, following the law is only important to push the left wing agenda

Are the Lib Dems Britain's most hypocritical party? - "Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey wants us all to believe that he and his party are the nice guys of UK politics... Davey was repeating the mantra again yesterday on the opening day of the party’s annual conference, with a call to “reject the divisive politics of Nigel Farage.”  But how unifying the Lib Dems are was amply demonstrated within minutes of the formal opening of the conference, when trans activists successfully prevented a motion on women’s rights being debated. It seems that rejecting division also means refusing to listen to women concerned about their rights to women-only spaces.  The motion, had it been debated and carried by delegates, would have brought the Lib Dems into line with the law as set out by the Equality Act 2010. But the Lib Dems, along with the Greens, the SNP and Jeremy Corbyn’s Your Party, are the last bastion holding out for the rights of trans women (biological men) to use and occupy spaces legally reserved for women. Any challenge to this position, even one that is backed by the Supreme Court, is anathema to the Lib Dems, and so the motion wasn’t even debated. So much for inclusiveness and fairness. Davey himself has shown no leadership on the issue. He has been challenged by Piers Morgan, who said to Davey: “In May 2023 you told LBC that women ‘quite clearly’ could have a penis.” To which the Lib Dem leader replied: “Well actually I didn’t say that.” Except he did. When presenter Nick Ferrari asked him, “So a woman can have a penis?” he replied “Well, quite clearly.” Ironically, given yesterday’s shutting down of the debate by his own conference, he used the same LBC interview to demand that the debate on trans rights be carried out with “a bit more maturity and a bit more compassion”. That none of that was seen yesterday is something we should not expect Sir Ed to be drawn on. There are few more divisive issues than the rights of women to their own spaces free from the presence of biological males, however they identify. Yet Davey only addresses it when he’s cornered in a TV studio and has yet to condemn yesterday’s silencing of Lib Dem women.   He may think he’s on firmer ground with his decision to boycott the state dinner for President Trump last week, exploiting his principled stand for all it was worth by letting us all know he had written to the King himself to explain his absence. Yet what value are such acts of ersatz principle when all you’re doing is lazily going with the flow of UK public opinion? Similarly, this great champion of unifying principle wants Britain to be thrown into another unseemly and deeply damaging period of division, all in service of his ambition that Britain should rejoin the EU (gradually, with customs union and then single market membership first: the “boiling frog” strategy).   Having vehemently opposed respecting the result of the 2016 referendum, Davey wants it overturned slowly, subtly, with as little fuss and public debate as possible. For that is the Lib Dem way: by all means subvert democracy (or the law as interpreted by the Supreme Court); just do it quietly, with a smile on your face so that everyone will believe you’re doing it for the right reasons. If true leadership means telling your own followers uncomfortable truths that they don’t want to hear, then Davey has already failed. Opposing Donald Trump is easy, especially when you’re the leader of only the third biggest party in the Commons. Supporting rejoining the EU is easy when most of your party already feels the same.  But on difficult issues like the threat to women’s privacy and safety from the trans rights movement, Davey is, like the SNP leader John Swinney, a prisoner of his own activists. Not for him the courage shown by, for example, Neil Kinnock, who risked dividing his party at Labour’s 1985 conference by denouncing Militant from the platform."
