Meme - "I've had a few negative reactions to me drawing fake freckles on my face but this is probably the most insane yet"
"It's literally the same thing as black face. You are appropriating my appearance that I had to suffer for in order to exploit the positive aspects but reap none of the negatives."

Survey: white evangelicals think Christians face more discrimination than Muslims - "57 percent of white evangelical Protestants said that Christians face “a lot of discrimination” in the US today"
When "minorities" report facing discrimination, that is proof that they face discrimination
When "majorities" report facing discrimination, that is proof that they are deluded
Lived experience is only valid for "minorities" who toe the liberal line

Meme - Amaris @amarislt: "Elon Musk is a super villain and nobody can change my mind. Go end homelessness why are you buying twitter?"????
Chris X #RestoreTheS...: "1) The fact that "no one can change your mind" shows you're inherently biased against him. #ElonMusk is the biggest fighter of #ClimateChange.
2) Ending homelessness is only possible with Gov #Basicincome, which costs TRILLIONS PER YEAR. #ElonMuskBuyTwitter #TwitterTakeover"
Amaris @amarislt: "You are white."

Thomas ‘TomSka’ Ridgewell on Twitter - "I've noticed young folk openly using the term "crackhead" in reference to unhoused, mentally ill, addicted, or even intellectual disabled people. As someone who grew up saying a lot of words we now know to be cruel and harmful, it feels like watching history repeat itself."
The "myth" of the slippery slope strikes again

BBC Radio 4 - Best of Today, Commonwealth War Graves Commission apologise for 'wrongs of the past' - "I think it's important to understand that most people listening to this broadcast this morning, imagine that the First World War began on the Western Front they think of, you know, the poetry of Wilfred Owen and others and the Somme. But in fact, it began in Africa, it was the East African campaign"

Meme - Rilek1Corner" "Is that the Minister of Muslim Affairs? Why is he shaking hands with someone from the Israel embassy during the holy month of Ramadan? Did he advise anything to Israel? Why is he smiling so much in this photo? Is this little red dot actually a mini Israel?"

To what extent are Singaporean Muslims responsible for their loyalty to Singapore being questioned?

Meme - cosima bee concordia @bimbotheory: "Public sex is rooted deeply in queer history and culture on top of being both cool and fun ty"
I thought it was homophobic to say that queer people are perverts (Pride aside)

Richard Hanania on Twitter - "Most interesting part of Obama's memoir (which was boring) is when he shakes his head at the poor naive young white idiots who voted for him while chanting "Race doesn't matter." Is this what he really believed at the time, or was he updating his thoughts to be 2020 compliant?
“I didn’t have the heart to tell them” he says. As if he didn’t run on the promise of a post-racial politics and bringing the country together."

Richard Hanania on Twitter - "The Clinton administration went after a pizza company for not making deliveries to high crime areas because that is discriminatory against blacks."
Ahh disparate impact!

Opera star detained at Paris airport accuses immigration of racial discrimination - "The South African opera star Pretty Yende has accused French immigration authorities of “outrageous racial discrimination” after being detained, strip searched and held in a dark room at Paris’ main airport.  “Police brutality is real for someone who looks like me,” Yende, who is black, said in a social media post on Tuesday, a day after the encounter at the Charles de Gaulle airport... A French official, who spoke anonymously because he was not allowed to speak publicly on the issue, said that Yende was questioned by police because she held a South African passport and did not have a French visa to enter the country... She thanked the police when she was allowed to leave, he added.  The official said it was standard to strip-search someone held because of improper paperwork. “That’s usual procedure, there is a pat-down inspection and a search for security reasons.”"
Immigration rules are "racist" after all

Black man uses passport photo as evidence AI is ‘racist’ in viral TikTok - "Joris LechĂȘne, a model and artist from London, recently uploaded a TikTok in which he explained that he tried to upload a passport photo only for it to be denied because the software could not accurately recognise him... Previously, the Google Photos app was found to be labelling Black people as gorillas, according to The New York Times, while an Amazon face service had trouble “identifying the sex of female and darker-skinned faces”.  “The service mistook women for men 19 per cent of the time and misidentified darker-skinned women for men 31 per cent of the time. For lighter-skinned males, the error rate was zero”"
Light is racist, since it's absorbed by black skin

Teenage girls twice as likely to suffer a brain injury from heading a football than boys - "Adolescent girls who suffer a head injury are also less likely to be removed from play, despite taking on average at least two days longer to recover than their male counterparts."
The power of patriarchy! This is why we need to remove sex from birth certificates

World Cup hotels in Qatar 'refuse to admit LGBTQ+ guests, while one insists do not 'dress gay'' - "The findings of the study appear to be in contrast to FIFA president Gianni Infantino's remarks... Al-Ansari is against any public show of support of the LGBTQ+ rights and even suggested rainbow flags could be taken off fans, to protect them from being attacked.  'You want to demonstrate your view about the [LGBTQ+] situation, demonstrate it in a society where it will be accepted,' he said. 'We realize that this man got the ticket, comes here to watch the game, not to demonstrate, a political [act] or something which is in his mind.  'Watch the game. That's good. But don't really come in and insult the whole society because of this.'"

James Bond villain Safin is the latest in this harmful movie trope - "Safin's face is covered with scars, continuing a long-time trend of Bond's greatest on-screen adversaries having facial differences... the new Bond film is providing the opportunity for facial difference advocates to push back on what they see as a harmful and overused trope... Pearson is an ambassador for the U.K. charity Changing Faces, which has been running a campaign called "I Am Not Your Villain" for several years. In 2018, the British Film Institute backed the campaign and vowed not to fund films where scars or other facial differences connoted villainy...   As recently as the 1970s, some U.S. cities had so-called "ugly laws" on the books. A former San Francisco law made it illegal for "any person, who is diseased, maimed, mutilated or deformed in any way, so as to be an unsightly or disgusting object, to expose himself or herself to public view." Other cities had similar, if not identical, ordinances.  Today, people with facial differences commonly report feeling anxious or depressed...   Facial difference advocates see this fight as similar to movements pushing for greater diversity in the representation of women, people of color, and people with disabilities in film...   Horror movies make Halloween a "scary time for people with facial differences," said Spooner. "A lot of people think we have costumes on. If they see you in the neighborhood, they're like, 'Haha, what are you dressed as?' Seeing yourself reflected in people's costumes is hard.""
The "myth" of the slippery slope strikes again

Michelle M. Odinet: A Louisiana judge is on unpaid leave and facing pressure to resign after a home video with racist language surfaced - "The Lafayette Police Department said that at approximately 2 a.m. Saturday, two vehicles were burglarized in the driveway of a home, which records show is owned by Odinet and her husband.  The suspect attempted to flee on foot but was caught by the victim"
Lafayette Judge Michelle Odinet resigns after racial slurs caught on video: 'I am sorry' - "“She’s been playing cowboy as if she is the law, and endangering everyone involved for years,” said a Lafayette resident who contacted The Advocate. “She was ready for the event in their driveway and all but instigated it.”"
She got burgled, but is now the evil person. Of course those who say much worse about white people are championed
Victim blaming is good when white people are the victims of burglary

Imam Tawhidi - Posts | Facebook - "Israeli Jewish soldier protecting a Palestinian Muslim woman in Hebron from Palestinians throwing rocks. This man is a KING.  She chose to walk alongside him, not the Palestinians. Think about that for a moment."

Doug Eurom on Twitter - "Elon Musk is an African American. Pass it on."
"Not ethnically since his roots are from a colonizer. African american refers to ethnic background."
"Do you call all Polynesians colonizers too? The southern cape area of Africa was pretty barren when the Dutch Boers arrived, but the few Bantu people who were there had colonized it themselves during their expansion period, displacing the Koisan people."

Meme - "I let my girlfriend peg me to piss off our Christian neighbors.
My girlfriend and I have had a great sexual relationship. I usually am always the dominate one. but things have changed a bit since the arrival of our new neighbors. This Christian couple moved in next to our apartment and they are the absolute worst. Day one of moving in they actually had the nerve to preach to me. The following week I was approached by the husband who told me my TV was too loud and the show i was watching offended him deeply. That's when I got fed up and devised a plan. lwas going to have very loud rough sex with my girlfriend on the other side of their wall. I really wanted to put an end to him even feeling comfortable enough to talk to me so I thought hearing me getting fucked in the ass through his living room wall would end it. So that's what I did making sure he heard every disgusting detail as my girlfriend railed into me with a strap on we purchased at our local sex shop. Since then the man can't even look me in the eye. Mission accomplished. dude: we have to
GF: we could just...pretend and make noises by the wall-
dude: *popping cap in lube* No other choice"

Florida Dunkin’ employee Corey Pujols who fatally punched customer Vonelle Cook over racial slur sentenced to house arrest - "A Dunkin’ employee in Tampa, Florida, accused of fatally punching a customer who used a racial slur against him last year, was sentenced to two years of house arrest after pleading guilty to felony battery.  Corey Pujols, 27, was ordered by a Tampa judge on Monday to complete 200 hours of community service and attend an anger management course... the customer, Vonelle Cook, 77, who was white, had gone through the drive-thru to order coffee and was angry over the lack of service... Grayson Kamm, a spokesman for Hillsborough State Attorney Andrew Warren, said prosecutors, in their decision, considered the “totality of the circumstances,” which included Pujols’ lack of criminal history, his youth, and the fact that he did not intend to cause Cook’s death"
Apparently a racial slur is almost as bad as murder

White People, Please Stop Declaring Yourself Allies - "There is no other way to put this than bluntly: Racism is a white person’s problem to solve... But how can someone be a savior for fixing a problem he or she has perpetuated?  Why should there be a badge of honor or distinction of merit bestowed upon white people who are choosing to address a human error within themselves that’s been terrorizing others?   What does it say to the humanity of Black people that white people still get to play both the hero and the villain in their trauma? By furthering this concept of allyship — the act of white people choosing to take action to support Black people in the fight against racism — we fraudulently provide a vapid solution to racism that lacks true accountability... No, you don’t get to be the hero of the story, because there is no fairy-tale ending once society tramples racism. Instead, there will be bittersweet reflection that it took hundreds of years of lost lives and trauma before white people finally stepped up and did something. The only silver lining is that those white people who choose to act now can speed up this process, not just to absolve their own guilt, but to pay an inherited debt to humanity."
There's no point being an "ally" if you're white because whatever you do, liberals will hate you and the members of your race forever because of the colour of your skin anyway
Weird, I thought the problem was supposed to be systemic and this was not about blaming individuals

Six jailed after Watford car chase killing of Luke O'Connell - "Shahnavaz Azad, Aamir Mustafa and Hamza Azad, all in their 20s, were jailed for life at Reading Crown Court for murder and must serve minimum sentences of 22 or 27 years... The group used weapons including a samurai sword, machete and adjustable spanner to smash the vehicle's windows... Three others were jailed for manslaughter and wounding with intent, while a seventh defendant was jailed for perverting the course of justice, after booking Hamza Azad a flight out of the country."
Memorial bench for Luke O'Connell could 'raise community tensions', council says - "Watford Borough Council has said it will not be putting in place a bench in memory of Luke O’Connell after having discussions with Hertfordshire Police...   "After extensive discussions with Hertfordshire Police, it was agreed that we would first let the judicial process take its course before reviewing the situation again post-trial."
Not all victims are created equal
Of course almost a year after the trial finished, there was no news - and probably never will be

Marianne Williamson deletes tweet denying Israel is the only country in the Middle East with peaceful diversity of religions and cultures - "For Rubin, the problem is that Williamson isn't making a clear argument. He told The Post Millennial, "In essence she did what lefties always do, makes a blanket argument clamming I'm lying, then when confronted with the truth she deletes. Never makes an actual argument.""

America's Race Politics in the Middle East - "Soumya Santosh, a 32-year-old Indian woman who, in order to provide for her 9-year-old boy, found work in the Israeli city of Ashkelon, caring for an 80-year-old woman. The pair were ducking for cover when their home was directly hit by one of Hamas’ rockets. Santosh’s brown body was torn apart by a projectile hurled by a terrorist organization and aimed at innocent civilians, none of whom, by the way, have any use for silly and preening identity politics.  Or maybe you know about 19-year-old Yehuda Guetta—his family hails from Libya, a country located, of all places, in Africa. Yehuda was shot and killed earlier this week by a Palestinian American named Muntasir Shalabi, who was motivated, according to his neighbors, by equal parts Jew hatred and heavy gambling debts.  In general, I am loath to deny Americans the right to play their national sports, which these days apparently include mau-mauing “white people”—though I will say that it seems creepy to use skin color as the primary way to identify human beings, like 19th-century “race scientists” did. But since Congressman Bowman is being joined by a host of other elected officials including Rashida Tlaib in trying to chauvinistically transpose their own American psychodrama onto a foreign region, this is now starting to get terrifyingly dangerous—and I don’t mean for Israel, but for Jews living here in the United States, including those in Congressman Bowman’s own district. So let’s be clear as day: Israel isn’t America, Jews aren’t white, and Palestinians aren’t “Black and brown people.” Judaism is an identity that predates “race,” just as it predates America, and the sin of slavery, and the idea of nations and the Christian and Muslim faiths. Reckless, ignorant racializing, precisely of the kind that Bowman is practicing these days, has a trickle-down effect. In a statement last month, the congressman and his fellow progressives released a statement declaring themselves shocked, shocked! by the anti-Jewish violence in their own districts. Sir, the call is coming from inside your house... thousands of Israeli Arab citizens, whose skin color is exactly the same as that of their neighbors, and who enjoy the highest standard of living in the region as well as every right to practice their religion freely and attend great universities, launched a wave of pogroms against their Jewish neighbors. They attacked and defaced synagogues in Lod—just like in Bowman’s district in Riverdale. They also beat up children in the street, bombed buses, dragged drivers from their cars, and smashed shop windows, targeting the Jewish regional minority.  A rabbi traveling with his students told the Israeli press about feeling helpless when their bus was blocked by throngs of Arab rioters armed with burning tires and large rocks. Four police cars, the rabbi reported, stood idly by and did nothing as the pogromists pelted the bus with boulders. “I didn’t open fire,” the rabbi, who was armed, said. “I didn’t want to be the subject of a police investigation myself.” Instead, he told his underage charges to lie on the ground, keep their heads down, and pray, as they were pelted with stones and shattered glass. Is this a righteous or “understandable” punishment for the teacher and his students for “occupying Palestine”?"

“A torture for the eyes”: Chinese moviegoers think Black Panther is too black - "a Chinese museum hosted an exhibition titled “This is Africa” that juxtaposed images of black people to animals, including monkeys and cheetahs."
Too bad they won't lecture the Chinese
How come blacks playing animals in the Lion King stage production is good?

Three Simple Rules Poor Teens Should Follow to Join the Middle Class - "at least finish high school, get a full-time job and wait until age 21 to get married and have children.  Our research shows that of American adults who followed these three simple rules, only about 2 percent are in poverty and nearly 75 percent have joined the middle class (defined as earning around $55,000 or more per year)."
Damn victim blaming! We should just give poor kids money so they'll be middle class

Inspiring: US Women's Soccer Team To Boycott Scoring Goals Until Racism Is Defeated | The Babylon Bee - "People were stunned after the U.S. women's soccer team lost to Sweden in the Olympics this week by a score of 3-0—until the team revealed they are boycotting scoring any goals until racism is defeated... Onlookers were stunned during the second half of the game when Rapinoe dribbled the ball all the way to Sweden's unprotected goal and whispered "This is for you, people of color," before kicking the ball straight into the air and running headfirst into the goalpost.  "This may be one of the most powerful performances in the history of sports," said Teen Vogue's sportswriter who has never watched sports.  The U.S. Women's team is demanding to remain in the Olympic tournament and promises to continue its streak of zero goals. Inspiring!"

'Its ethics are entirely nihilist': Stephen Harper slams 'woke' left in rare interview - "Stephen Harper warned of a “nihilist” modern left bent on “ripping everything down” and seeking to “end the democratic system.” “If it plays out, our societies fail,” Harper said in a Tuesday edition of the podcast American Optimist. He added, “the adolescent egos of the woke university crowd is not an alternative governing philosophy for any society.” The former Conservative leader rejected the claim — taken up in recent years by many senior Democratic politicians and organizations such as Black Lives Matter — that the United States is fundamentally racist.  “What I see is all these supposedly repressed races trying desperately to become Americans,” said Harper. While the 62-year-old former leader said Western societies should strive to make “constant progress,” it should not be premised on the assumption that “everything is wrong and terrible and awful.”  “I can see lots of things wrong with my own country … and yet you travel around the world and there’s no other time in history and no other place you’d rather be”"

Barbara Kay: Accusations of racist JEDIs, and other ways woke extremists are standing in the way of scientific progress - "Humour and woke culture cannot co-exist in harmony. In January 2020, the pitch-perfect satirical site, Babylon Bee, ran a story joking that Democrats had called for the American flag to be flown at half-mast after a Donald Trump-ordered strike killed notoriously bloodthirsty Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani. The article went viral amongst credulous, but humourless, progressives who not only believed, but approved of the message... Then there’s the Cornell University astronomy course, “black holes: race and the cosmos,” the description of which muses, “Is there a connection between the cosmos and the idea of racial blackness?” Spoiler alert: Yes! ... Risible stuff, yes, but the obsession with social justice in the hard sciences is no laughing matter for actual scientists, particularly in astrophysics, where cautionary tales from the front lines portray a knowledge domain under siege by decolonizers, offence archeologists, de-platforming zealots and even (Et tu, Brutus?) collegial fifth columnists.   Some years ago, a consortium of international universities from six countries agreed to build the $1.4-billion Thirty Meter Telescope — the world’s largest — on Hawaii’s Mauna Kea, a dormant volcano that, measured from its base, is the world’s tallest mountain. With the site’s superior air transparency, darkness and supporting technical facilities, such an observatory would radically extend our ability to peer into the vastness of space and time. The fully funded project, designed to provide information on the physics of the early universe and the nature of dark matter, had cleared every legal and technical hurdle, and passed every environmental assessment. But it’s been blocked for five years, because a handful of social-justice activists claim this product of “colonial science” disrespects the sacred spirits of local First Nations.  The University of Hawaii (UH), the primary funding body, committed to dismantling two existing telescopes in exchange for the new one, and to finding another mountain for its humbler teaching telescope, but that proposed site also became problematic for the activists on spiritual grounds.  Notably, one of the high-profile activists promoting decolonization over scientific advancement, Chanda Prescod-Weinstein, is herself an astronomer. Consultations continue as of this writing. The UH has produced a 122-page “master plan” on the use of Mauna Kea, in which one may read almost nothing about the Thirty Meter Telescope, but a great deal about the need to listen to the Indigenous stewards of this sacred land. Let’s hope, for science’s sake, that this hagiographic emollient is pleasing to the hostage takers.   Another telescope brouhaha — this one rooted in its name — swirls around NASA’s magnificent $8.8-billion James Webb Space Telescope... more than 1,200 people signed an open letter — initiated by Chanda Prescod-Weinstein, amongst others — calling on NASA to rename the telescope.  Their grievance: Webb served as the undersecretary of state during the “Lavender Scare” of the extreme anti-communism McCarthy era, when, in accordance with U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s directive, gay men, or those even suspected of being homosexual, were purged from government. They claim Webb was instrumental in effecting Eisenhower’s homophobic policy... David Romps, director of the Berkeley Atmospheric Sciences Center (BASC). He wanted Dorian Abbott, a geophysics professor at the University of Chicago, to deliver a talk at BASC, after Abbott’s lecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology was cancelled due to his heterodox opinions on identity politics in higher education (which were unrelated to his lecture on the potential habitability of exoplanets in our solar system). When the University of California, Berkeley denied Romps’s request, he resigned on free speech grounds. Woke activists are selective, and often hypocritical. UC Berkeley is named after 18th-century philosopher Bishop George Berkeley, an ardent imperialist (“Westward the course of empire takes its way”), who believed that the physical world does not exist, but who bought three slaves in Rhode Island, whom he had baptized, “As slaves would only become better slaves by being Christian.” But don’t expect a name change there any time soon.   To recap the various responses to woke bullying: NASA held its ground; BASC director Romps set a courageous example for peers in choosing resignation over complicity with illiberalism; the University of Hawaii chose sycophancy, pinning hope for realization of its enormous human and capital investment in space exploration on a merciful exemption from piety-draped luddites.  These are hard times for the hard sciences. Their adversaries’ mission is to boldly go where tyrannies have gone before. Will science prevail? Only if scientists heed Shakespeare’s warning: “The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are underlings.”"
