Yesterday, a Principle Artist (lead) at major studios such as @Naughty_Dog, @RocksteadyGames and @Respawn talked about his frustration at trying to get his designs for beautiful female characters approved at AAA studios. Every time he concepted the, every time he pitched them, every time he brought it up at meetings, he was ignored. Inexplicably, each character went from beautiful to "grocery store aunties." Each revision worse than the last. This is no fan of gamers or GG2, this is a liberal, woke dev, with seemingly a lot of talent, who is bringing you this information. And he hates to have you use it, but he feels strongly enough that even he has to say something. This is no myth. This is no conspiracy theory, this is happening in AAA and you were RIGHT all along. Why is this happening?
We know that Sweet Baby Inc. is involved with Marvel's Wolverine. We know this because of Sweet Baby's own tweets, and because a Narrative Director for Insomniac's Wolverine game ran to the defense of SBI. SBI does 2 things well talked about. They assist with dialog and story, and they also assist with character design. By now, everyone knows SBI's public mission to insert DEI sensitivity into all games. This is their sole purpose and pitch as a consulting company. And this explains why Jean Grey went from great to "Grocery store auntie." We see this every where in AAA Gaming, why was it necessary to reduce Firecracker's butt size in COD? That cost time and money to do for a skin that was already completed. It made no sense. The only reason, the only reason at all, is politics.
After MeToo, there was a great call to reduce the sexualization of women. This horrible incident slammed into the Entertainment industry. Everyone overcorrected. Now, you can't have ANY female traits in gaming at all. Not even a butt. Ridiculously, the butts have to be smaller than even the male characters. Censorship ran rampant on outfits, with Asian games being targetted the most.
The second reason was the political imperative to place women equal to men, even in places where it made no sense. Girl Bosses. To prove women equal to men, they focused on the masculine traits...they had to beat men at their own strengths. This mean beefing up the women models, giving them thicker bodies, having them beat up multiple men in physical fights in movies, acting stoic and above all, suppressing their feminine features and strengths. They call this "making women more realistic" but it's really just making them the opposite. They are completely unrealistic now. Cheap stand-ins for male tropes that display none of the natural strength of women and how they are strong in their own right.
The last reason, is the trans movement. We've had a couple of internal leaks, including Naughty Dog, that have told us that female characters must be changed to appeal to the trans community. The trans community that transitions to female wants to pass as female and feel included. Studios are bending over backwards to LOWER THE BAR for femininity in order to make this easier. Square jaw, removal of hips (pokemon go), reduction of bust size...all of this fits. But is all this really helping?
The answer is No. None of these changes help. They don't help the industry, plagued by layoff and soft sales. They don't help gamers, many of whom are women who want to play beautiful female characters. They don't help trans, who also want to pass as beautiful women and aspire to that. These are empty, token gestures, born of a knee-jerk response to misguided empathy. They do more harm than good, and they will continue to hurt the entire industry as the trend continues. It's time to stop."

And they reported NONE of it. ❌ A week before Southport he tried to leave the house to attack his old school. His dad stopped him. ✋ Good. Then did absolutely FUCK ALL else. Didn’t call the police. Didn’t tell a single agency. Just texted his wife: “Our child needs to be protected.” Not THOSE children. His. ๐คฌ The day of the attack they watched him leave. SAME outfit as the week before. Yes. The agencies failed. Over years. I’m not dismissing that. But EVERY single agency that failed – failed on INCOMPLETE information. Information this father was DELIBERATELY withholding from them. The father knew. In real time. And said nothing. That is NOT the same thing. ⚠️
Nobody takes responsibility in this country anymore. NOBODY. Always someone else’s fault. Always someone else’s job. Always someone else’s problem. Those three little girls were EVERYBODY’S problem. He WITHHELD information about weapons from mental health services. He wasn’t a frightened father fumbling in the dark. He was interfering. Deliberately. Repeatedly. ๐ To everyone saying “imagine how hard it was for THEM” I want you to imagine something else. Imagine it was YOUR daughter in that dance class. YOUR six year old. YOUR seven year old. YOUR nine year old. Still feeling sorry for them? ๐ค
This family came to this country from Rwanda. How and why they were approved to be here has NEVER been properly explained. This country gave them everything – housing, schools, police, social workers, mental health services. And the father sat on information that would have saved three little girls’ lives. ๐ฌ๐ง The inquiry chair said it was “almost certain” the attack would have been prevented if the parents had spoken up in that final week. Headteacher who feared Southport killer was a risk 'was accused of racially stereotyping a black boy with a knife' - "The risk Southport killer Axel Rudakubana posed to others was toned down by professionals for fear of being accused of racism, a report into the massacre claims... Headteacher Joanne Hodson told the public inquiry that, from his first day, she realised the teenager was 'very high risk', with a manner 'devoid of any remorse'. But when she tried to raise the risk he posed to others, Mrs Hodson said she was accused by children's mental health worker Samantha Steed of 'racially stereotyping [Rudakubana] as 'a black boy with a knife''. Mrs Hodson told the inquiry that the accusation of 'racial profiling' had 'effectively shut me up'. The warning about the risk Rudakubana posed – which featured in a draft of his education, health and care plan – remained in the document. But parts were rewritten, such as a reference to his 'sinister' internet use being replaced with the word 'inappropriate'. Inquiry chairman Sir Adrian Fulford concluded that it was 'unwise' for Ms Steed 'to raise issues of racial stereotyping'. While there was no suggestion she made a 'direct accusation of racial stereotyping against Mrs Hodson, the fact that such a contentious topic was raised nevertheless served to 'close down' Mrs Hodson,' Sir Adrian wrote... Sir Adrian said if his parents had done 'what they morally ought to have' and reported his suspicious behaviour, he would not have been free on the day of the attack. The inquiry at Liverpool Town Hall heard that the killer's autism had been used as an excuse for his past behaviour while a 'merry-go-round' of referrals and assessments meant no agency understood how dangerous the teenager was. At the conclusion of his 760-page report into the attack, Sir Adrian called for the end of a 'culture' of agencies passing responsibility between each other. Those he criticised included Lancashire Police, the government's counter-extremism service Prevent, various NHS mental health services, and the County Council among other services... He described Rudakubana as a 'aggressive, near-total recluse, who bullied and threatened his family and unashamedly lied to officials'. The inquiry revealed a pattern of mental health services and social care treating the teenager's autism spectrum disorder as an 'excuse' for his behaviour rather than seeing that in Rudakubana's case this 'significantly increased the risk that he posed'. Sir Adrian said different agencies showed a 'scant regard' and a 'lack of curiosity' over Rudakubana's internet usage. 'I have no hesitation in concluding that the degrading, violent and misogynistic material that [Rudakubana] was viewing online contributed to and 'fed' his already unhealthy fascination with violence,' he wrote... In December 2019, Rudakubana carried out an attack on a boy with a hockey stick at the Range High School in Formby, just months after he had been expelled for admitting carrying a knife. Sir Adrian described this instance as a 'watershed moment' and that it proved 'beyond doubt' he 'was motivated by an ensuring desire to inflict severe harm on and possibly kill another pupil'. In another serious incident in March 2022, Lancashire Police Officers found Rudakubana on a buds with a knife after he was reported missing. Sir Adrian said this was the 'most marked example of the consequences of poor information sharing'... Stark criticism was levelled against his father, Alphonse Rudakubana, who Sir Adrian said had deliberately withheld information about his son's stash of of deadly weapons. While Sir Adrian did accept that Rudakubana made his parent's life 'a nightmare' had said they failed to act out of a 'misguided and irresponsible' desire to avoid him being taken into care."
Clearly, this shows that racism and stigma about mental health caused the attacks, so we need more anti-racism and more awareness about mental health to stop future attacks. We also need to censor the internet, of course
