You are entitled to people's affection and attention if you are a woman. This is the opinion of the British "Justice" System. Claiming you beat someone because you want them to like you is now a defence. What the fuck!?

The full article:

A teenager who kicked her friend in the face was spared custody after a court heard she suffers from a disorder which makes her unhappy when her affection is not returned.

Saraya Crofts, 19, beat Aaliyah Casady onto the ground at the Green in Richmond, Surrey on July 20.

They had been drinking and taking drugs in the park when Crofts saw Ms Casady, 18, had been speaking to a man on the phone that their group was in dispute with.

Crofts confronted Ms Casady over the phone call, grabbed her by the hair and dragged her to the floor.

She then kicked Ms Casady in the face and took her phone, forcing her to give her the pin, Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court heard.

Ms Casady was found by members of the public on the ground and was helped home.

Crofts used the phone to post a video onto Ms Casady’s Facebook of the victim taking ecstasy.

Angela Mahadeo, prosecuting, told the court: ‘Ms Casady used her mother’s IPad to track her phone.

‘The phone pinged that it was in Robin Hood Way, the same street that the defendant lived on.’

When police arrived at the address Crofts admitted that she had the phone but did not remember where she had hidden it.

She eventually found it behind a picture in her room.

She denied assaulting Ms Casady but was found guilty at trial.

Peter Hamill, defending, said: ‘She accepted that posting the video was wrong.

‘She also accepted that she did steal the phone.

‘Both the defendant and Ms Casady had been good friends for three months.

‘She suffers from Attachment Disorder.

‘She feels hurt when her friendship is not reciprocated.

‘Ms Crofts was aware that the victim had been speaking to the boy on the phone.

‘She felt that she had been betrayed, the boy was talking about coming to the park and causing trouble.’

He told the court that Crofts acknowledged that what she did was wrong and accepted that she would have to be punished for it.

Magistrate Annie Page told Crofts: ‘What we are going to do is sentence you for everything today.

‘We are going to have a new community order that will hopefully be more workable.

‘The assault was a very unpleasant incident.

‘We are going to award Ms Casady £100 because she had a very nasty time.’

Crofts of Robin Hood Way, Kingston, denied assault by beating but was found guilty at trial.

She accepted theft and sending a malicious communication.

She was given a 12 month community order and a 12 month restraining order from contacting Ms Casady.

She was ordered to pay 100 pounds compensation to Ms Casady and 50 pounds to the court.

She was given a 30 day Rehab Activity Requirement and a 12 week nighttime curfew from 8pm to 8am
