Links - 3rd April 2026 (1 - Diversity)

Rob Henderson on X - "If you admit diversity programs succeeded, there's a risk they'll be scaled back. The playbook is to champion these initiatives for the advantages they provide you, yet publicly claim they're ineffective. Admitting they work could erode the very position you're protecting."

The perils and pitfalls of building multiracial democracies - "Amid the plethora of book interviews conducted by former US president Barack Obama, two sentences jumped out at me: “America is the first real experiment in building a large, multi-ethnic, multicultural democracy. And we don’t know yet if that can hold.”  That is a startlingly bleak view. When white leaders of apartheid South Africa suggested democracy would not work in a multiracial society, they were denounced as racists. But that is the possibility Mr Obama seemed to be raising."
Is this racist saying diversity isn't our strength?

Zarathustra on X - "Obama knows. “We know they are lying. They know they are lying. They know that we know they are lying. We know that they know we know they are lying. And still they continue to lie.” —Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn"
Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry on X - "They use this talking point once in a while and every single time it’s terrifying, because not only do they admit that their "experiment" has a 100% track record of failure, there is never ever an account of (a) *why* one should undertake this experiment; (b) *how*, even in theory, they think the experiment might plausibly work this time."

Jonatan Pallesen on X - [On Ketanji Brown Jackson] "A larger proportion of Black women are enrolled in college than White men. (40%  vs 37%)  Black women have on average 1 standard deviation lower IQ and SAT score than White men.  This disparity results in a large number of Black women who have credentials, but not the intelligence.   And as a downstream result of these dynamics, there are then many unqualified Black women in important positions, such in the Supreme Court (Ketanji Brown Jackson), on the board of the FED (Lisa Cook), as news people (Joy Reid), and in universities (Claudine Gay)."
Left wingers define things you can grant by fiat as qualifications. They don't like to look at results

@amuse on X - "DEI: To make it easier to recruit black judges multiple states don't require magistrate to have college degrees much less law degrees. Those same states require barbers to have thousands of hours of training and licensing - regardless of skin color."
The people who demand degrees for police officers defend no degrees for judges

Meme - "23 Writers With Messages For Straight White Male Publishing
11. "Sit down and let us abolish you." -Franny Choi
15. "She's coming for you." - Emily Bell and Amelia Gray
21. "We don't need you." - Jayson P. Smith
22. "Take a vacation (a long one)." - Chelsea Reimann and Meg Day"
Diversity is about hating straight white men. But of course left wingers will continue to gaslight us that DEI is about levelling the playing field and making it so that anyone not a straight white man can get a job

1 in 10 Companies With DEI Programs Avoid Hiring White Men - ResumeBuilder.com - "Resume Builder surveyed 1,216 hiring managers about their company’s commitment to DEI. The survey found that while many hiring managers believe DEI benefits the workplace, some feel these initiatives should be reduced or eliminated entirely due to the challenges they present.
Key findings:
61% of companies currently have a DEI program, 21% had one but ended it, and 18% have never had one...
Among companies with DEI programs, 6 in 10 hiring managers say the company prioritizes diversity over qualifications, and 1 in 10 say their company avoids hiring white men
35% of hiring managers at companies with DEI programs feel reverse discrimination occurs...
Over half (58%) of hiring managers surveyed at companies that have DEI initiatives believe their company prioritizes diversity over qualifications to some extent."

I Meme Therefore I Am 🇺🇸 on X = "Black woman unapologetically states that she chooses not to work under supervisors who were hired solely for DEI optics, and instead prefers working under middle-aged white men, who she says have been more supportive and instrumental in advancing her career."
Internalised white supremacy!

Meme - Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media: "We're celebrating the love, strength, and Visibility of LGBTQIA+ moms in media. When diverse families are represented on screen, it empowers real families to see their truths reflected - with joy, nuance, and authenticity. But representation still lags behind. LGBTQIA+ moms remain vastly underrepresented, especially in lead roles across film and TV. Every child deserves to see their family - and their future in the stories we tel. #PrideMonth #LGBTQIA #seeitbeit #R..."
"Only 6.2% of TV moms are LGBTQIA+. Rewriting motherhood: How TV Represents Moms and What We Want To See Next"
Glen Briand: And 100% of celebrity kids are alphabet kids explain the astronomical odds of that
MIke Burgess: "Only 2.2% of women are lesbians. Seems there is an issue with representation. They are over represented."

Meme - iamyesyouareno: ""Heroes of World War II" is a history book for children. The book attempts to indoctrinate children into thinking that WWII was won by 'people of color. They are removing white people from history and rewriting it to make it 'more inclusive'. Literally 1984."

m. stanfield on X - "I saw this with some regularity, but people don’t actually want diversity where they live. They say they do for two reasons.
1. They think it’s a thing they’re supposed to say socially
2. “Diversity” means good restaurants
Across nearly all groups nearly all the time, people want to be around people with a similar worldview, income, and priorities."
wanye on X - "Progressives will cut off a friendship for support of Trump. They routinely end relationships for this reason, cut off family, avoid people and places. They would be disappointed to learn that a coworker is a MAGA republican.   And yet they claim to be completely unbothered by any other kind of diversity.  This is a very strange sort of narcissism, the position that people who are very much like you in almost every way are in fact irreconcilably different, but that people with completely alien values are easily tolerated.  The white Republican neighbor with slightly different views on gender roles in a modern democracy is anathema, but the Muslim neighbor with antithetical views on women’s rights is a cherished addition to the neighborhood.  It’s all ridiculous and absurd."

Molson Coors ends diversity, equity and inclusion policies, moves to 'broader view' : r/canadian - "But if that is the basis of the criteria applied in so many instances how can it not be about skin color?"
"Your premise is flawed. That isn't the basis. You've been fed lies. If you actually read up on it, you'd understand better. No company is saying hire more brown people at all cost. That's rediculas. No company does anything without profit incentives."
"So I have already given the example from Waterloo for a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in a 'hard' science, and mentioned another example at the other end of the socioeconomic spectrum with construction apprentices. I'll back it up.
'Employers will receive $5,000 for hiring or registering any new first-year apprentice in one of the 39 Red Seal trades, plus an additional $5,000 if the worker self-reports as a woman, new Canadian, LGBTQ2S+, Indigenous, a person with a disability, or a visible minority.' Source
And beyond your argument that it is about experience, insights, and profit, you have not provided anything but insults (elsewhere) and No YOUr'Re wroNG blah blah. Anyway have a good one."
Left wingers continue to try to gaslight even after being shown proof of jobs only open to "minorities". Of course he continued to deny reality

Meme - Devon Stack @Black_Pilled: "Anyone can start a podcast. Anyone. The device you are using to read this is all you need to start your own. And it turns out that even with all the censorship, astroturfing, and complaints to the contrary, most people think white guys are the only ones worth listening to."
"Podcasting's Diversity Problem: 64% of Hosts Are Male, 77% Are White, USC Study Finds. The podcasting medium significantly trails the diversity of other entertainment avenues"
When you can't impose diversity quotas, the truth comes out

The one benefit of anti-white discrimination - "Here’s a post-festive quiz. What unites all of these things – the printing press; linear perspective; the scientific method; golf; the telescope; sandwiches; cars; the Simpsons; the microscope; electricity; logarithms; croissants; the steam engine; Monty Python; railways; the modern factory; pizza; the machine loom; computers; vaccination; antiseptics; the works of The Beatles; anesthesia; germ theory; the Sublime; penicillin; the periodic table; modern chemistry; darts; the mechanical clock; the works of P G Wodehouse; tailoring; coq au vin; 90 per cent of great classical music, Masterchef; the Renaissance; photography; cinema; radio; gin; television; the internet; the laws of gravity; cricket; the Enlightenment; and the light bulb?  The answer is, of course, that these were all largely devised, created or discovered by white men. And I could have made this list seventeen times longer, for the very good reason that white men are highly inventive, smart, resourceful – and funny. To get some perspective, white men constitute around 6 per cent of humanity, yet the dazzling modern world we have around us, from all of the arts to all of the sciences, is in great part their making.  As such, you’d think any industry hoping to really go places would do its best to use white men: to exploit that profound creativity and inventiveness. To not do so, to underuse or even exclude these people would be notably stupid and, in a capitalist society, self-harming. And yet, as we all know, in the last fifteen or twenty years, much of western society has been doing exactly that. Deliberately excluding white men and overtly preferring others. From academe to law, from politics to poetry, white men have been institutionally disfavoured... when selection becomes perversely unfair rather than remotely meritocratic, you will inevitably get unintended consequences. Why? Because talent rebuffed does not vanish – it migrates. It looks for systems that reward competence, originality and stamina rather than the “right” chromosomes or skin colour. At the same time, markets, unlike institutions, are ruthlessly indifferent to moral signalling. They reward what works.  Put it another way. Ever since reading Jacob Savage’s words I’ve been thinking, where did all those shunned but talented men go? What did they do instead? And one answer is: the podcast.  Why did men go there? Because podcasting is a very new industry, it has no barriers to entry, and there is no one empowered to demand “diversity”. Also, starting a podcast is pretty easy: you need a microphone and imagination... As a result, the podcast is dominated by clever, opinionated white men, like Joe Rogan, Shawn Ryan and Theo Von in the USA, or the chaps who do Triggernometry and The Rest is History in Britain. These are not men who would obviously get employed by ideologically-policed modern Hollywood (indeed there was a Left-wing attempt to cancel Rogan, which failed).  Such is the success of the podcast, the guys making them now accrue serious money. The podcast also dominates our discourse, and even changes politics (Kamala Harris’ refusal to appear on Rogan was blamed by some for her defeat by Trump). And why are podcasts so successful? Simple reason: they’re good. Deeper reason: they are good because the podcast is one place where smart, unwanted white men have taken their very considerable skills, wits, ideas. Podcasting has succeeded because it has selected for talent rather than identity.  Meanwhile, over in Hollywood-land, with its #MeToos and #OscarsSoWhite, they are now grappling with falling audiences. And the Golden Age of TV drama has, it is feared, come to a dispiriting end."

Grummz on X - "Obsidian and avowed are in deep trouble. Elon is X-posting about @Obsidian ‘s art directors potentially illegal hiring practices. Tagged Microsoft’s CEO. Matt Hansen, Avowed’s art director, has become an extreme liability for the studio with his overt and open anti white hatred.  The pronoun game, Avowed, is cooked. @AvowedtheGame    Microsoft should not tolerate these DEI activists ruining their games and products."
Ian Miles Cheong on X - "Microsoft’s gaming division is excluding whites from being hired to work on their video games. All of their new hires are unqualified queer and black people because the company’s executives have an explicit mandate against “crusty old white dudes.”"

Avowed dev with credits on RPGs dating back 25 years says this is the most confident he's ever been in a game at this point : r/gamingnews - "I wonder how many posts this sub has deleted about the other thing an Avowed dev said lol."
"When Chris Avelonne was accused of 'misconduct' every gaming subreddit blasted the news but once he was exonerated those same subreddits deleted any post sharing the news citing it as "off topic"."

Obsidian Employee Dishes on 'Avowed' Art Director Matt Hansen - "A whistleblower who previously worked for the developer came forward to YouTube personality SmashJT with stories of his experiences working for the company and for Hansen.  Matt Hansen  Matt Hansen, the arti director for Obsidian Entertainment and Avowed - YouTube, SmashJT  A whistleblower that worked at the Microsoft-owned Obsidian Entertainment game studio has shone a light on toxic behavior from Avowed art director Matt Hansen.   When Hansen took a major victory lap to celebrate the fact that X-owner and world’s richest man Elon Musk had called out his fantasy RPG Avowed for its use of optional pronouns in a fantasy setting, he couldn’t have known that this whole scenario would snowball the way it has. Hansen now finds himself at the center of a major controversy spearheaded by Musk that has exposed alleged racist and illegal hiring practices at the company.      READ: Obsidian Co-Founder Urges Rejected Devs to Sue ‘Avowed’ Studio Over Allegations of Illegal Racist Hiring Practices  But, as the saying goes, it gets worse.   A whistleblower who previously worked for the developer came forward to YouTube personality SmashJT with stories of his experiences working for the company and for Hansen.   “The shift in workplace dynamics began after Microsoft acquired Obsidian in November 2018 and made them a part of Xbox Studios,” SmashJT said in his official write up on the two and a half hour conversation he had with the whistle blower, code-named Doe for the sake of anonymity. “They implemented some… very strange corporate policies. The first tip-off to Doe that things weren’t ‘normal’ anymore was with the introduction of (optional-but-in-reality-mandatory) pronouns in email signatures, meetings, and other communications.”  It wasn’t long before an event he described as a “misgendering incident” swept through the company.   This led to Matt Hansen sending out a company wide email detailing a zero tolerance policy on “intentional or malicious misgendering.”   “The email’s tone was described to me as passive-aggressive yet, threatening,” SmashJT said. “A fair warning that employees who couldn’t align with these policies would face termination.”  JT went on to say that Doe described the use of pronouns within the company as a way of controlling others. They were used as a means of shifting the balance of power within Obsidian and Microsoft.  “Doe also observed that Matt Hansen was [sic] extremely difficult to work with, citing an unwillingness to accept constructive criticism and a consistent tendency to make assumptions about lower level employees’ commitment,” JT said. He also said around this time the number of straight white male employees diminished until they could be counted one one hand. That certainly falls in line with the potentially discriminatory hiring practices Obsidian is being accused of by Musk and others. Hansen made it clear that he hires based on race and that people who aren’t “crusty white dudes” are his priority.  Doe also detailed a story in which, a full two years after the Covid pandemic, Microsoft attempted to make Obsidian employees return to work in the office to increase productivity and quality.   “The reaction from employees was nothing short of COMPLETELY unhinged. Employees of all levels melted down in front of all the higher ups on a Microsoft Teams call,” SmashJT said.   Apparently the ring leader of the pushback on ending remote work was Hansen himself.   “Amid the chaos, Matt Hansen — the Art Director for over nine years now at Obsidian, emerged as a vocal advocate for continued remote work,” JT said, noting that, according to Doe, Hansen cited various mental health concerns for employees as part of the reason why they couldn’t come into work.  Doe stated that the extreme Covid caution along with the massive ideology shift within the organization turned Obsidian into some kind of new-age religion. He noted that the remaining employees were “driven by blind obedience to an ideological dogma.”   “This corporate chokehold has now stifled creativity and stripped games of value for players,” JT said. “Leaders at Obsidian like Matt Hansen continue to be empowered to go on unhinged BlueSky racist rants, attacking gamers, and being protected by echo chambers of positive feedback.”...   Chris Avellone, the co-founder of Obsidian, even urged any developers who were rejected by the studio to seek legal representation and bring an employment discrimination lawsuit against the company he helped start."

The taxpayer-funded Toronto District School Board has a "Building Black Futures in Architecture Scholarship." Each scholarship is worth $48,000. However, eligibility is limited to "students of African/Black/Afro-Caribbean background." : r/Ontario_Sub

slimzim on X - "BLACKLISTED: In September the Knoxville Symphony invited me to their blind audition for Principal Clarinet, which I won by unanimous vote. Two days later their CEO called and refused to hire me, citing my ousting from the Nashville Symphony six years ago for resisting DEI as the reason, and instead gave the job to my runner-up, an obvious DEI hire who’s still in college.   In response I sued the Knoxville Symphony two weeks ago for a year’s salary plus $25k for the 100 hours I spent practicing for the audition. This isn’t just about money though, it’s also about pushing back against these symphony CEOs who continue to put race and politics above merit and skill. Someone has to save our symphonies from being sacrificed on the altar of “diversity” and no one is better positioned to do it than me. Wish I didn’t have to do it but I’m doing it anyway.   I was excited to take the stage with the Knoxville Symphony but instead I’ll see them in court. If Knoxville thought I’d walk away from this they were sorely mistaken."

The Met's diversity drive has caused the police irreparable harm - "The [diversity] panel was set up after the then commissioner, Cressida Dick, became concerned that ethnic-minority applicants were being disproportionately rejected. Its role was, quite literally, to overturn those rejections and hire them in the name of diversity.  A review of the panel’s decisions set up by the current commissioner, Sir Mark Rowley, has found – quelle surprise – that in the 505 cases it examined, more than one in five of the officers appointed after the diversity panel overturned an applicants’ initial rejection went on to commit rapes, assaults and drug offences.  That includes Cliff Mitchell, who was convicted of 13 rapes against two victims, one of whom was a child. He had failed vetting but that decision was overturned by the panel.  The review’s findings are the starkest example yet of the madness – the malign, grotesque and warped madness – of DEI. Like so many ideas which seem decent and inoffensive at first glance – how could anyone object to improving diversity? – the reality of the Met’s diversity drive was unconscionable. Dame Cressida set up the panel despite no evidence existing that the Met was rejecting applicants from ethnic minorities because they were from ethnic minorities. Indeed, for decades the Met has gone out of its way to try to hire such officers, for entirely valid reasons and following the appropriate procedures... The Met is the most egregious example of this ideology, but HR managers up and down the country push it – acting not as the personnel managers of old but as radical politicised activists.   They claim to be anti-racist but, in reality, the DEI advocates are the ones who view all of life through the prism of race – including at the Met.  And so we ended up with it hiring drug dealers, rapists, thugs and other assorted low-life as police officers. In Dame Cressida’s diversity drive, thousands of references were not checked and, in other cases, vetting failures were ignored.  We know how bad this became at the Met solely because of its own report, published today. But a report in 2022 highlighted seven other forces where there were serious issues around vetting: Kent Police, the Civil Nuclear Constabulary, Cumbria, South Wales, Nottinghamshire, Dorset and Devon and Cornwall. The problem is likely to be far worse. Under Sir Mark, who took over from Dame Cressida in September 2022, the Met has sacked 1,500 officers. That is a start. But so deeply ingrained is DEI in organisations now, that the battle against it can seem like pushing water uphill."
Once again, wokeness and DEI harm people and society
Naturally, the Guardian article blames "defective vetting", doesn't mention the diversity panel, and claims Mitchell had an "unproven child rape allegation"
Clearly, the overrepresentation in crime of the "diverse" people is due to racism and conservatives are ignorant

Miss Jo on X - "You really could not make it up. Cliff Mitchell applied to join the police in 2020 but was rejected because he had previously been found guilty of raping a child. However, a “diversity panel” overturned the decision and he joined the Met Police. He went on to rape two more victims, including a child under the age of 13. He was sacked from the police and given a minimum sentence of 14 years."
Adam Wren on X - "“The police hired a rapist to hit diversity targets” is one of those things that if explained makes you sound like you’ve gone off the conspiracy deep end"
GeroDoc on X - "I recall some research suggesting this is actually politically protective for libs - their policies are so off-the-deep-end outrageously destructive when you describe it to the general public they don’t believe you"

Meme - Commie Gibberish of the Day: ""Bean Mouth" animation is what you get when your studios are subverted with untalented hacks. Large gaming studios were also flooded with DEI hires: Look how those are doing."
"Kill this art style."
Kaguya's Top Gal: "Pixar's fall off needs to be studied"

Pixar is in Big Trouble.. (artist's rant) - YouTube

Marni Panas 🇨🇦 on X - "Shows how little he knows what racism actually is and what DEI actually does. It's not about excluding certain groups (e.g. white men), it's about breaking down barriers so ALL people have same opportunities that people like David has enjoyed. And he seems threatened by that."
Jamie Sarkonak on X - "Because of DEI, able-bodied men couldn't apply for this engineering position at @YorkUniversity (unless they were black, in which case there was an exception). But sure, DEI is about breaking down barriers... if you consider equal treatment to be a barrier."
Marni Panas 🇨🇦 on X - "It's not about equal treatment. It's about ensuring equal outcomes and opportunities."
The left wing bait and switch/motte and bailey once again. They claim to be talking about equality (equal opportunities), but really are pushing for equity (equal outcomes). Not to mention ignoring facts when they disprove your lies ("it's not about excluding certain groups")
