Don Lemon arrested by federal authorities after protest at Minnesota church service - "Former CNN anchor Don Lemon was arrested by federal authorities on Thursday night in connection with a protest at a Minnesota church service earlier this month. Lemon, 59, and three other journalists —Trahern Jeen Crews, Georgia Fort, and Jamael Lydell Lundy — were arrested “in connection with the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota," Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a post on X on Friday. The ex-CNN anchor's attorney, Abbe Lowell, said in a statement that Lemon was taken into custody by federal agents in Los Angeles, where he was covering the Grammy Awards. "Instead of investigating the federal agents who killed two peaceful Minnesota protesters, the Trump Justice Department is devoting its time, attention and resources to this arrest, and that is the real indictment of wrongdoing in this case,' Lowell said. "This unprecedented attack on the First Amendment and transparent attempt to distract attention from the many crises facing this administration will not stand... The federal government cited the FACE Act to justify the arrest of the three protesters. The federal statute prohibits the use of force or intimidation to anyone trying to access reproductive services, but also contains provisions that cover houses of worship... The Committee to Protect Journalists, a nonprofit that promotes press freedom worldwide, condemned Lemon's arrest... CNN said in a post on X that Lemon’s arrest “raises profoundly concerning questions about press freedom and the First Amendment.” Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass also condemned Lemon’s arrest and said in a statement she “reached out to the U.S. Attorney to check on Don Lemon’s status.”"

Damn fascism and violation of the First Amendment!
Marc J. Randazza ๐บ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐น ๐ง๐ท on X - "The FACE Act was a great compromise. The left wanted people to be able to get abortions in peace. I think that’s fair. We wanted to go to church in peace. That’s fair. And the left agreed in large part because they probably thought “what kind of a banshee goblin fucktard would want to go and start intimidating people from going to church?” They felt like they gave up nothing. Fast forward and they’ve become such a bunch of nose ring gothapottamus lunatics that they can’t even leave churches alone."
Swann Marcus on X - "I’m sorry but Don Lemon is an idiot and due to his own stupidity the government might have a case It looks like what Lemon did was this: He was informed of the protest ahead of time and met with organizers at another location. He knew they were planning to illegally occupy a church and interfere with worship services and at one point turned off his camera to avoid broadcasting the conspiracy ahead of time. He then travelled to the location with the protesters knowing they were going to occupy the church and followed them inside while (incorrectly) telling his viewers that what they were doing was constitutionally protected speech He effectively acted as the protesters’ videographer, was invited to take part in the protest by organizers, and turned his camera off to hide evidence of a criminal conspiracy. The government is going to argue this meant he crossed the line between a neutral observer and a knowing participant in a criminal act and they already convinced a grand jury that theory might have merit Journalism schools need to drill it into students’ heads that there could be legal consequences if you cross the line between neutral observer and activist because Lemon did everything possible to fuck himself over"
Andrew Follett on X - "Former (and kinda current) journalist here. Lemon entered private property, stayed, disrupted it, and kept broadcasting when asked to stop. You do not have the right as a journalist to do any of that. This is why so much video journalism is shot from streets outside buildings."
RedWave Press on X - "TRUTH NUKE: Lydia Moynihan: “I'm glad to hear that everyone is up in arms about journalism and freedom of the press, and I wish that we'd also heard this when James O'Keefe of Project Veritas was being raided by the FBI because he was investigating Ashley Biden. I wish we'd also heard this kind of outrage when he had classified materials, when The Blaze journalist Steve Baker was arrested for filming and reporting on January 6th. He was a legitimate journalist.” “So, look, I think freedom of the press is extremely important. And I would like to see that same concern applied equally to both conservative and liberal journalists.”"
The cope is that conservative journalists aren't real journalists, and that you can't be a conservative and a journalist because journalism requires curiosity and the pursuit of truth, which conservatives lack
Jorge Bonilla on X - "INTENT: Here's Don Lemon admitting he turned the camera off so as to conceal critical details of the conspiracy to violate Cities Church's First Amendment Right to free exercise of religion
DON LEMON: So…they’re getting the operation together. Again, this is an operation that is secret- that they invited folks out. Can’t tell you what is going to happen but you’re going to watch it live unfold here on The Don Lemon Show. There are…this…for this reason…looks,,,for this reason…it may look like MAGA-coded but there’s a reason they have so many white people here, I’m just going to be honest. It’s because of the- what they’re- the operation that they’re doing today. It’s important to have allies, as they said, white allies here. So…that is what I could say. I TURNED OUR CAMERA OFF FOR THEM BECAUSE THEY’RE GIVING SOME CRITICAL INFORMATION HERE. But…there we go. Everybody’s ready to go."
Hans Mahncke on X - "Leaving aside the seemingly widespread misconception that “journalists” have special rights, which they do not, the real issue is identifying the moment Lemon crossed the line from observer to participant. This clip appears to pinpoint that moment. It is generally lawful to meet with criminals. It is also lawful to hear about their plans, since there is no general duty to report a crime. What changes everything here is that he actively turns off the camera to conceal details from viewers and potentially from authorities. That is an overt act of concealment, moving beyond newsgathering and into assisting the group’s secrecy and enabling the operation. Joining them in the drive to the church further integrates him into the execution. That is materially different from passively reporting, which would have meant following them in his own vehicle. Entering the church, which is private property, removes any remaining ambiguity. At that point, he is no longer documenting events. He is a direct participant. I have not parsed the entire tape, but if at any point he refers to the group as “we,” the case is closed."
Adam B. Coleman, Proud Father & Imperfect Man on X - "Most of what we’ve been witnessing in Minneapolis revolving around ICE’s presence has been what I call “agitation theater.” It’s the root of why Don Lemon joined local activists, like the local BLM chapter, to disrupt church services. Agitation is a feature to their mayhem, not a bug. You’ve probably heard people say “politics is a show” or something to that effect but communists push this to an extreme. Everything they do is for the show and to get a response out of witnesses. Remember, ICE is not a new organization manifested by Donald Trump but they want you to believe that their existence and operations are somehow different or immoral. They are highly focused on optics in areas most aren’t and through agitation, they can force emotional responses that they can spin into their favor. ICE operates nationwide, yet the focus is on Minneapolis because activists want this to be the case. They have the backing of major government officials in the state, enabling them to push the limits of what they can get away with. It reminds me of the “I’m not touching you” game that kids play as they get centimeters away from someone’s face, agitating them and when the person hits them in response, they can suddenly play the victim. The anti-ICE brigade that stalks ICE officials is playing that game as they ride the lines of interference in an immigration investigation. Renee Good and her wife played this game as well. Don Lemon and his activist “buddies” played the game of agitation by targeting an institution that they despise and is held in reverence in the United States. They poked the bear, agitated and terrorized the people who were inside the church to get a response. However, beyond a response from the congregants, they want a response from passersby too. Some reactions you can see, like the DOJ pursuing potential charges against Lemon and his leftist cohorts under the KKK act. But many of these reactions you’ll never see because it’s an alteration in the psyche of Americans. It’s to make you worried about going to church next Sunday and think twice before driving your SUV around town. It’s the agitation toward fear that paralyzes people or forces them to alter their pattern of conduct to avoid being the target. It’s the same agitation that convinced stores to put up pride flags and BLM signs in their windows during the 2020 “Summer of Love” in hopes that the agitators will avoid destroying their business. Don Lemon even said it in his own words that he believes their version of protesting is about “making people uncomfortable.” Protesting can make a target feel discomfort but that doesn’t mean all forms of discomfort are protesting. That’s the logic of the agitator leftist and why they think everything is tacitly acceptable as long as it bothers people. Instilling fear in the public is a power move and part of the theater of it all. All of this is worrisome but similarly, it’s important to understand that just like any theater, you’re only seeing what they want you to see. Organized riots are an example of agitation theater, because they occupy a small local footprint in a district like it’s a battlefield and when cameras show up, it gives the false impression that the entire town or city is under siege. Or if they want to orchestrate a peaceful protest, they’ll push for crowds of people to organize in an area that looks impressive on a wide angle lens to give the false impression of consensus. What you’re seeing is happening but it’s just as carefully constructed as a movie set. The light you’re seeing in that movie, which appears to be coming from the sun through the window is actually artificial light angled to trick your eyes so you think it’s natural. That’s the essence of agitation theater; what you see is not the entirety of what’s happening. It’s only existence is through provikation. They want you to think this is a naturally organic grassroots movement when behind the scenes, they are propped up by media snobs like Don Lemon, funded by the CCP, and defended by the most powerful institutions. It’s artificial light, pretending to be sunlight shining on the measures of a supposed authoritarian President. Zoom out and you’ll see an entire crew that is hellbent on power, who will play the victim when we flinch and react back, and will use your fear against you. This is your behind the scenes moment; they’re all actors."

"One of the victims of the St. Paul church says agitators prevented them from getting to their children, one thought it was a shooting, and others weren't able to leave. One woman fell and was injured.
•Victim 4 informed agents that members of their parish attempted to retrieve their children from the childcare area located downstairs, but the agitators were blocking the stairs, and the parents were unable to get to their children.
•Victim 4 informed agents the aisles are already narrow to begin with, and the agitators who occupied the center of the sanctuary made it nearly impossible for parishioners to get out and leave.
•Victim 5 later expressed fear that the agitators may have guns underneath their jackets. Additionally, when the agitators began shouting, all the parishioner could hear was “shoot.”
•Victim 4 recalled one agitator was threatening, aggressive, and intimidating towards parishioners. Additionally, this agitator was screaming and getting in people’s faces, to include women and young children. This agitator continued to scream in the faces of young children while they were crying.
•Affidavit writes agitators: "forced parishioners to flee the church out of a side door, which resulted in one female victim falling and suffering an injury."

A powerful perspective is going viral following Don Lemon’s controversial livestream of a protest that disrupted a Sunday service at Cities Church in St. Paul. While Lemon defended the "clandestine mission" as a First Amendment right, many are pointing out that he chose his target carefully—and that a Black church would have had a "totally different outcome". Man says "Yeah, Don Lemon knew better than to go to a Black church. He would have never tried that. It would have been a totally different scenario, that would have happened, totally different outcome. 'Cause we don't play about stuff like that. You're not gonna come in and you think he would've got an interview? Are you kidding me? He wouldn't have got past the aunties at the front. They would've shut that down. He's not even getting in through the front door. Yeah, we don't play that. In the name of Jesus, he wouldn't have got in. You're talking about dudes reformed from the streets, giving their testimony, aunties never gave up on them. You're gonna assert yourself into that situation? Bro, I'd be—I'm scared to have my phone on ring when I'm at church. It's just a different—it's a different atmosphere, you know. I don't even wanna say what would've happened that day but, a lot of righteous indignation would have went down. We would've righteously indignated that whole situation, shut it all down. You think he's gonna lean into a Black pastor? He's gonna lean in like that, tell him, 'Hey don't touch me,' and lean in on him? With his auntie watching in the front row, you think he's gonna do that? Bro. I would—I would pay, I would pay, pay-per-view, I would pay to see that. Don Lemon knew better. Her real name finally emerged upon her arrest, and more dramatically again when she arrived in Washington, D.C., for a criminal trial as an accused traitor in 1948. She showed up at her trial with her long, silver hair tied back with a black bow and the color of her clothes accented by a bouquet of bright red roses, as if at a Hollywood movie premiere rather than a criminal arraignment for treason."

And due process for illegal immigrants ONLY guarantees them the right to be told why there being detained, and to be treated humanely while in custody as they await deportation. That’s it. They aren’t even entitled to court appointed counsel. The current administration didn’t write these laws and neither did the ICE agents. It’s absolute madness, and I use that term clinically here, to knowingly and violently break a law and presume you’re somehow immune from the potentially dire consequences just because you disagree with said law. The things happening here are not to be blamed on political affiliation. Rather, these actions are a direct result of a culture who’s been led to believe that laws don’t apply to them, whether that be because they desire a better life but aren’t willing to follow the process, or because they believe “citizen vigilante” is more moral than following actual US code. It is a sad reality that the people getting hurt or killed only have themselves to blame. If you want to pray for someone, pray that people are freed from the madness driving their decisions. So now we have an effectively open border with the caveat that you must traffic a child at the same time you violate our immigration laws. Sounds bad?
