Seven police officers sent to remove four women from 'inclusive' talk on transgender issues featuring CEO of Mermaids - "An academic was forcibly removed by police from a 'transgender visibility' event after organisers complained she made members of a panel discussion ‘feel uncomfortable'... The women were asked to leave after being told they were not welcome at the ‘inclusive’ event at consultancy firm Accenture’s head office in London.The group, which included a journalist, a Labour Party activist and a woman who asked not to be identified for fear of reprisals, refused, telling organisers they had obtained tickets and had not interacted with anyone else in the room... Hours before the event, Surrey Police released a statement saying they were no longer pursuing a case against Caroline Farrow, a Catholic mother of five after Miss Green had complained about tweets she claimed were abusive including the misgendering of her transgender child. Mermaids encourages the reporting of online communication considered to be ‘malicious and nasty’ as hate incidents"

Student 'barred from free speech debate for saying women don't have penises’ - "A student who was called transphobic after re-tweeting ‘women don’t have penises’ has been excluded from a free speech debate at Bristol university over ‘security concerns’.Many were unhappy with Angelos Sofocleous after he posted the statement on his social media account last August.The tweet led to him being sacked from his role as president of Humanist Students and assistant editor of Durham University’s philosophy society journal."

Earlier this month, Holyrood’s culture committee warned that ending binary “Male or Female” questions in the Scottish census will render much of the results meaningless and, willy nilly, import an unscientific definition of sex into the law. But the Scottish Government is not listening. Nicola Sturgeon told a UN equalities conference last week that the concerns of feminists about the GRA are “misplaced”... a British transgender man, who had IVF by sperm donation and gave birth, won a court battle to prevent his child having “mother” on its birth certificate. It will be the first child in history to have no mother. The The AIRE Centre, a human rights charity, contested this on the grounds that it would make life difficult for the child in future, when they apply for visas or anything which enquires about family background. The Government said simply that this isn’t a problem. From now on, fathers can give birth – end of... If misgendering a trans person is unacceptable, surely demothering a child should be too. My [24FtM] girlfriend [25MtF] believes that I don’t have a right to an opinion on an abortion because I am a man - and it’s causing a serious rift in our relationship : relationship_advice - "I am a 24 transman and I am dating a 24 transwoman.I’m sure you all have seen the news that a fucking shitty ass American state just passed an extremely aggressive anti-choice law banning woman from having abortions.My girlfriend and I were discussing it and even though we are both pro-choice and pretty much acknowledge that a fetus is just a clump of cells that hardly constitute life, my girlfriend felt the need to remind me that as a man, I have no say in the matter anyway.She appreciates and thanks me for expressing solidarity with women’s rights but insists that men should have absolutely zero opinion whatsoever on the right to terminate a pregnancy.This really worries me because what if I get pregnant?"
Women who have had hysterectomies aren't allowed to have opinions on abortion. How about infertile women?

One of his terrifying messages contained a picture of a dead body in a shroud. A whistleblower has told the MoS that despite knowing about Addis's convictions, bosses at homeless charity St Mungo's still allowed her to make 'almost daily' visits to a women-only hostel... One St Mungo's source claimed Addis had caused 'alarm and distress' to female residents at the women's shelter by behaving aggressively in front of them.But managers at the charity are accused of ignoring concerns from staff because they 'slavishly' followed a politically correct agenda promoting transgender rights"

Shelter forced women to shower with person who identified as a transgender woman and sexually harassed them, lawsuit says - "Nine women homeless women signed on to a lawsuit against Naomi's House and its parent company, the Poverello House, saying the last place they could go to feel safe is now dangerous because they're forced to shower with a transgender woman... the shelter requires them to shower in groups, and it opened its doors to a person who identified themself as a transgender woman who made lewd and sexually inappropriate comments, and leered at them while they were naked... Naomi's House has had good experiences before with at least one transgender woman."The staff was extremely accommodating," said Michelle Nastasis, a transgender professional poker player who stayed at Naomi's House a couple years ago. "In fact, we worked out a system where none of the girls would be offended when I went to take a shower."Nastasis says she got along with some of the women who filed the lawsuit and everybody treated her with respect. She joins them in questioning whether the person accused of sexual harassment is being honest about their status as a transgender woman... The women say they repeatedly complained to staff members, but were told if they didn't respect the person's decision to identify as a woman, and if they refused to take showers at the same time, they'd get kicked out of the shelter."
Too bad most people won't ask if they should discriminate against men in the first place

Forced to share a room with transgender woman in Toronto shelter, sex abuse victim files human rights complaint - "A woman has filed a human rights complaint against a Toronto shelter for female recovering addicts, claiming staff forced her to share a small double room with a pre-operative male-to-female transgender person.The formal complaint against the Jean Tweed Centre, which runs Palmerston House, followed Kristi Hanna’s efforts to inquire about her own legal rights in this unusual situation, only to be told by Ontario’s Human Rights Legal Support Centre that, by describing her new roommate as a “man,” Hanna was the one engaged in illegal discrimination... She described herself as an “active ally in the LGBTQ community,” but said this conflict has left her feeling as if vulnerable women are unable to voice their own gender-based rights for fear of violating someone else’s... the woman is in her late 20s, has facial hair, chest hair, and wears large black combat boots that “trigger” her with their thumping. She said at one communal dinner, the roommate talked about having had a wife in the past, and a pregnant fiancée, and was overheard talking about some unidentified women as “hot” and expressing her preference for Latina women. Hanna said her mannerisms came across as “piggish” and inappropriate... Hanna said she told staff this person made her feel vulnerable and scared, a view she shared with other residents, some of whom signed a petition to staff.“All of us were completely upset and flabbergasted, pretty much, and instantly all full of fear. They won’t even allow a man on the property without permission by the staff and all the residents"

Predator who claimed to be transgender declared dangerous offender - "A sexual predator who falsely claimed to be transgender and preyed on women at two Toronto shelters was jailed indefinitely on Wednesday.Justice John McMahon declared Christopher Hambrook — who claimed to be a transgender woman named Jessica — was a dangerous offender... the Montreal man, 37, attacked four vulnerable females between the ages of five and 53 in Montreal and Toronto over the past 12 years... Hambrook pleaded guilty in February 2013 to two counts of sexual assault and one count of criminal harassment involving two women — a deaf and homeless Quebec woman and a Toronto survivor of domestic violence — while he was living at a Dundas St. W. shelter and the Fred Victor women’s shelter in January and February 2012... He couldn’t control his deviant urges, inside or outside of jail, sharing his sick sexual fantasies and irritating other inmates during a four-year prison sentence served in Quebec and Kingston.After moving to Toronto in 2009, he boasted that he had received more than 800 e-mails from old Montreal friends “begging him to come home” for sex and shopping sprees."
Apparently the staff at the shelter weren't aware of the infallible way to tell who is really transgender and who is just pretending to be transgender
Or this is just another case of Schrodinger's transsexual - you're one until you commit a sex crime under those pretenses
