Day 4 - 19th May - Klaipeda, Lithuania (Part 3)

Addendum to previous post: almost all of the items in the menu at the restaurant had translations in English, German and Russia, except for one for which there was no word in all the tongues of men (except Lithuanian).


YC disappeared fro a long time. We thought he had found something very interesting. Turns out he went to the carpark.

The other 2 saw wild boar and deer on the treeline on the bus back, but I didn't. Damn.

I would've gotten one, but the aunties at the concessionaires beside the Smiltyne ferry terminal started screaming "no, no, no photo" at me (they probably feared I was from the price-fixing commission) so I refused (I refused on the next day as well). There were also 2L plastic beer bottles.

There is a supermarket chain in the Baltics called Maxima. To indicate the size of each joint, they are labelled "X", "XX" or "XXX".

Contrary to what I'd been told, the shops in Klaipeda didn't open very late. Probably it was just Vilnius.
