Hungary is paying €1m a day to block illegal migrants. What a bargain - "When national tourist boards produce videos extolling their country’s attractions, they normally highlight the beaches or the nightlife. A new video promoting holidays in Hungary, however, boasts of something rather different. The absence of illegal immigrants. Hungary, this government-approved video proclaims, is “the safest place in Europe” – because “we refuse to let illegal migrants in”. Even more startlingly, it adds that, because of this refusal, the EU forces Hungary to “pay a fine of €1m to Brussels every day”. That’s equivalent to around £875,000. Yet the people behind the video don’t seem to be complaining. In fact, they clearly think it’s a bargain. In the words of Viktor Orban, Hungary’s prime minister: “We’ll pay it. For our safety, and yours. Better than living in fear.” Unsurprisingly, the video’s message has not gone down well with Left-wing Eurocrats. Daniel Freund, a Green MEP from Germany, snorted: “I don’t think anyone has ever understood the Christmas story less than Viktor Orban.” After all, he said, “Christmas is literally about people from the Middle East seeking shelter.” Well, yes – but the shelter they were seeking was still in the Middle East. Joseph, Mary and the donkey did not pay a criminal gang to squeeze them aboard a rubber dinghy, so that they could illegally enter a country in another continent. And, when they arrived in Bethlehem, they did not sexually assault any 14-year-old girls, or stab a member of the stable’s staff to death with a screwdriver. Herr Freund’s analysis, therefore, is not entirely watertight. Or have I misunderstood his meaning? Is he perhaps suggesting that European countries should take in every military-age man who tries to breach their borders, on the off-chance that one of these men turns out to be the son of God? Such a prospect, I fear, is somewhat remote. Of the countless “people from the Middle East” who have come “seeking shelter” in our own country since the small boats crisis began, few, to my knowledge, have done much to spread the word of God. Or at least, not the Christian one. So in Britain, if not in Brussels, quite a few people may rather admire Hungary’s stance – and feel that, in the same position, they too would happily contribute to a fine of €1m a day. To put that fine in context: it’s less than a sixth of the sum Britain spends every day on migrant hotels. Imagine if every country in the EU decided to pay a daily fine, rather than accept illegal immigrants. For one thing, it would make Brussels an awful lot richer. It’s a wonder the Eurocrats are complaining at all."
Skilled Migrants Aren't Interested in Germany - "Germany faces a fundamental migration dilemma. Refugees from poor and war-torn countries flock to it as a haven while skilled professionals from outside of the European Union—workers the German economy sorely needs—tend to shun it... “Germany is child-friendly!” according to Make It in Germany, a portal funded by Germany’s ministry for migration and refugees, the purpose of which is to attract foreign nationals to Germany... It should be clear, however, that this offer isn’t meant for the often impoverished, usually undereducated refugees fleeing countries like Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq. These nationalities constituted most of the nearly 250,000 asylum applicants last year. That’s almost 28 percent more than 2021 (though just a third of those filed during the migration crisis year of 2016.) The newspaper Bild reflects the ire of many ordinary Germans: “They are often without proper education, without a job. But they have the right to welfare support, housing, clothing.” In 2022, every third day saw an attack on the accommodations of refugees. Indeed, Germany is a prime destination for people fleeing war and destitution: 1.3 million people entered Germany last year—among them 1.1 million people from Ukraine, 140,000 of which have since returned to Ukraine. (In contrast to people living in countries with repressive governments, Ukrainians cannot apply for asylum but can receive temporary protection status.) Yet, in a dark irony, Germany, a country with a declining native population and anemic labor market, badly needs qualified workers—in some cases, qualified with just a basic knowledge of the German language—to fill around 778,000 vacancies... In a U-turn from a decade ago or so, Germany has realized that it needs prodigious labor reinforcement from abroad to plug the gaps and has sent out word that they are welcome. And, in fact, there has been a positive response—mostly though from professionals within the EU. Romanians, Poles, Spaniards, Italians, and Bulgarians above all flock to Germany, which the EU’s freedom of movement principle makes relatively easy for a fellow EU citizen. But since all of the EU 27 members are currently experiencing more deaths than births—Germany’s fertility rate of 1.58 children per woman as of 2021 may be a hair above the EU average of 1.53 that same year, but it is still far from the 2.1 birth rate necessary for a population to grow—the entire continent is waking up to the fact that their economies will require ever more foreign workers as populations age and the downward demographic curve steepens. In Spain and Poland, people are having even fewer babies than Germans. This means that in the near future, Germany will not be so free to draw from the European pot as it does now... In contrast to EU labor migrants, the number of qualified workers from non-EU countries is paltry, even if it has been ticking up. In 2021, it tallied just around 40,000 people—led by professionals from India and followed by the United States, Turkey, and China. German Finance Minister Christian Lindner recently experienced an embarrassing moment in Accra, the capital of Ghana, in Western Africa, when not a single college student in a full auditorium raised a hand when he asked who would consider working in Germany. “Oh, wow! Okay,” Lindner responded... German wages may be much higher than in the global south, but compared to many European and North American countries, they’re low—and taxes are high, schools are overcrowded, and the urban housing market is very tight. Linda Teuteberg, a foreign affairs expert for the liberal Free Democratic Party, said Germany’s “top ranking in taxes and other levies discourages people from coming to our country. The skilled workers our country requires … who are highly qualified and speak English go where there is more left over after taxes.”"

Study finds Dutch avoid living near Moroccan and Turkish neighbors - "A recent Dutch study revealed that a significant portion of citizens deliberately avoid neighborhoods with high concentrations of residents of migrant origin, with Moroccan and Turkish communities singled out most frequently... many participants without migrant roots were willing to travel an additional ten minutes daily for shopping if it meant avoiding areas where a quarter of residents come from immigrant backgrounds, particularly Moroccan or Turkish."
Migrant schoolboys 'gang rape teacher and hold her as sex slave' - "A teacher was allegedly raped and abused by a gang of migrant youths who blackmailed her into letting them use her apartment for parties and forced her to pay for food, taxi rides, and tobacco. In a case heard at the Vienna Regional Court, in Austria, the female teacher's sickening ordeal lasted from July 2024 until January this year. It's reported that the main male defendants, a 15-year-old Iraqi, a 17-year-old Romanian, and a 15-year-old Afghan, have all pleaded not guilty to the central charges, which include rape and sexual coercion. It's alleged that the horrifying ordeal for the woman came to an end when the two 15-year-olds broke into her home when she was away and stole jewellery and watches before setting fire to the home. Austrian media reports the youths have admitted to burglary but deny intentionally starting a blaze. According to the public prosecutor's office, the teacher had formed a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old former student in April 2024. It was said the youth was "sexually self-determined" and that the woman was no longer teaching the teenager, so prosecutors said "so there was no longer any authority relationship". According to Austrian news site Orf, the following month the 16-year-old brought friends, including the defendants, to the woman's apartment. The court heard the 15-year-old Iraqi "terrorised' the teacher upon learning about her relationship with the 16-year-old and threatened to post photos of her meeting the group outside her school... the defendants were alleged to have continued to harass the woman and in November filmed a sexual assault which took place on her terrace. After the video was filmed the woman feared it would be shared and was forced to make her home free for the youths to use for parties, as well as pay for taxis, food and cigarettes."
Migrant who raped boy at Austrian pool has sentence cut - "The migrant who raped a young boy in a swimming pool because he 'had not had sex for four months' has had his sentence reduced and will soon be free. The Senate of the Supreme Court of Austria has ruled that the sentence of 20-year-old Iraqi asylum seeker, known only as Amir A, will be reduced from seven to four years after he raped a ten-year-old boy who suffered horrific injuries as a result... Amir A's lawyers had sought a retrial after successfully arguing that the original trial had not done enough to discover if he knew for certain that his victim was saying no. The appeal had shocked legal experts because as a 10-year-old minor, the victim could never have given his consent to sex. Now judges at Austria's Supreme Court have found the asylum seeker guilty for a second time - and jailed him for seven years. The rapist had been taken to the Austrian capital's Theresienbad pool in December last year as part of his integration programme. But he dragged his victim into a changing room where he locked the door and subjected him to a sickening sexual assault. The court heard that the schoolboy needed urgent medical treatment for agonising injuries sustained in the attack... He first confessed to the rape, saying he knew it was wrong but did it anyway because it was a 'sexual emergency' because he had not had sex for four months. His lawyers later changed his story claiming there were doubts over whether he knew the victim had denied consent. He was found guilty of serious sexual assault and rape of a minor. The boy, named only as Goran, was awarded 5,000 Euros (£4,190) for his pain and suffering."

With a Muslim population of around 6 million in France, these figures are very scary: integration has failed, multiculturalism has failed. Europe's face is changing as ethnicity is determining voting across bureaucratic elections and political outcomes. Political Islam is gaining strength in areas where the state has retreated and the left continues to endorse: guilt, appeasement, tolerance. These conditions are ripe for radicalization. With the growth of political Islam, Europe is still divided, fragmented and unwilling to react to the problem. As examples of civilizations falling in silence seem just before, we have self-censored and keep clear of looking islamophobic, racist or a bigot, to stifle reasonable debate about the entrenched growth of political Islam. While political Islam is growing it is not growing by violent means but through demographic change, cultural change, and the growing strength of a voting bloc with ballots."
Majority of young French Muslims put sharia above national laws - "It is thought to be a steep rise from three decades ago, when just 36 per cent of French Muslims aged 18 to 24 felt that sharia should take precedence. François Kraus, the historian who wrote the study, suggested the findings pointed to “a process of re-Islamisation” driven by younger generations. He said: “This survey very clearly outlines the profile of a Muslim population increasingly structured around rigourist religious norms and tempted by an Islamist political project.” “Fundamentalism has won over the minds of more than one in three Muslims,” said Mr Kraus. Some 38 per cent of those surveyed approved of all or part of “Islamist” positions in 2025, double the proportion who expressed such views in 1998... “There is a need for radicalism which is expressed through a much stronger religious rigour... which is not limited to faith, but translates into a desire to govern society, or at least the behaviour of Muslims in France, according to Islamic precepts. “It also translates into a very violent gender separatism. You have 45 per cent of young Muslims who refuse to ‘faire la bise’,” Mr Kraus said, referring to the customary French cheek-kiss greeting. Sharia has provisions that are incompatible with French law, including unequal inheritance for women, corporal punishment for crimes, and strict limits on freedom of expression and sexuality. The report also revealed a dramatic increase in Mosque attendance, which rose from 7 per cent in 1989 to 40 per cent today. Meanwhile, strict fasting during Ramadan jumped from 51 to 83 per cent and the proportion of young women wearing the veil has nearly tripled. Social habits have also changed: alcohol consumption among Muslims under 25 has fallen from nearly 30 per cent in 2011 to just 12 per cent today. Only 12 per cent of young Muslims now want Islam to adapt to modernity, down from 41 per cent in 1998. France has Europe’s largest Muslim cohort, making up around 7 per cent of the French population up from less than 1 per cent 40 years ago. The revelations follow a confidential report presented to Emmanuel Macron, the French president, in May. It warned that Islamist networks, particularly linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, were practising “entryism”, infiltrating schools, associations, and local institutions in order to “change them from within”. In July, Mr Macron announced he would be imposing “restrictive measures” to better combat Islamism, via financial sanctions and increased surveillance of organisations... Chems-Eddine Mohamed Hafiz, the rector of the Grand Mosque of Paris, suggested that the figures reflected anger among young French Muslims, 66 per cent of whom feel they have been victims of racism, according to an earlier poll. “As an imam, I talk to a lot of young people. White woman gropes black disabled boy in German anti-harassment campaign - "A German council has been criticised for a sexual harassment poster that depicts a white woman groping a black boy with a prosthetic leg. The poster was put up in an outdoor swimming pool in the western town of Büren with the caption: “Stop! Grabbing is forbidden.” At the foot of the poster, a turtle wearing goggles and rubber armbands informs the reader: “If something doesn’t feel right, you have the right to call for help by calling out my name: Tiki!” The campaign comes after a furore in Germany over a recent incident where a group of Syrian men were arrested for groping girls at a swimming pool in the nearby region of Hessen. But critics said the poster was a baffling attempt to make a politically correct statement about sexual harassment, by making the perpetrator a white woman and giving the victim a physical disability. Official German statistics show that men are responsible for the overwhelming majority of sexual assaults in outdoor swimming pools. In 2024, 237 out of 367 recorded incidents were also committed by foreigners. Rainer Wendt, the head of the German police union, warned the poster would likely embolden the far-Right Alternative for Germany [AfD] party, which is a vocal campaigner against “woke” values. “This campaign has only one winner, the AfD. But there are many losers: women and girls. Their dire situation is being ridiculed,” he told the German tabloid Bild. Manfred Pentz, the European affairs minister for the state of Hessen, said: “After the incidents we’ve recently experienced here, this must be a bad joke, which makes a mockery of those who have been affected. Nine underage girls get sexually assaulted by Syrian migrants at swimming pool in Germany - "In a shocking scandal rocking Germany Gelnhausen, nine underage girls were sexually assaulted at the Barbarossabad swimming pool in the town of Gelnhausen, with the perpetrators identified as four Syrian men. The heinous acts, reported on June 29th, have ignited fury across Germany, but CDU Mayor Christian Litzinger’s response has poured fuel on the fire. In a jaw-dropping statement to Welt and Hessischer Rundfunk, Litzinger attributed the assaults to “hot weather” causing “frayed tempers,” dismissing the gravity of the crimes and sparking widespread condemnation. The assaults, described as a “nightmare” by lokalo.de, saw the victims, all minors, subjected to horrific abuse while pool staff allegedly ignored their cries for help, presumably out of fear of being accused of “racism”. Instead of decisive action, the pool management reportedly sent the girls back into the water, a move slammed as “unfathomable” by incredulous social media users. Public outrage has surged, with posts on X decrying Litzinger’s comments as victim-blaming and culturally insensitive, many simply attributing the horrendous incident to unchecked immigration and citing countless other similar atrocities. Police are now investigating, urging other victims to come forward, while city patrols have been increased. Yet, the question burns: who pays for this failure? For many, Litzinger’s words are not just tone-deaf—they’re an insult to justice itself."
Sweden child migrant tests 'reveal many adults' - "A Swedish investigation into migrants claiming asylum as children suggests that three-quarters of those tested were over the age of 18. Sweden's national forensic medicine agency checked the age of nearly 8,000 people and found that some 6,600 were 18 or over. The checks were only carried out in cases where there were doubts as to the person's age. Child migrants are less likely to be sent back to their country of origin. Between mid-March and late October, the agency (Rättsmedicinalverket) carried out a total of 7,858 age assessments."

Russian spies working with smugglers ‘to flood Europe with migrants’ - "Russian spies and hard-left humanitarian groups are working with people smugglers to flood Europe with illegal migrants, a Bulgarian minister says. Daniel Mitov, the interior minister, said his government had evidence that Russia’s foreign intelligence service had direct links with the criminal gangs facilitating illegal immigration into the European Union. He said Russian spies were helping people smugglers find weaknesses in the EU’s external borders, including Bulgaria’s border with Turkey, and were telling migrants how to exploit EU and UK asylum systems and avoid removal... The Bulgarian government also said that some non-governmental organisations (NGOs) were collaborating with smugglers “under ideological pretexts”. Mitov said British teenagers had been helping “neo-Marxist groups”. “Illegal migration inflows are an instrument for hostile regimes to destabilise the European Union and the United Kingdom,” he said. “They are aiming to destabilise the welfare systems. Plus, of course … through smuggling radicalised individuals, they create security issues for us.”... Mitov said Bulgaria had become concerned about the activities of some NGOs. He said: “They are neo-Marxist groups which are trying to justify their actions through philosophical or ideological constructs. Basically, let’s get all the poor people from the world and let them establish themselves here, the absolute freedom of movement, the non-existence of borders and so on and so forth... Swedish murder: Five teenagers found guilty over taxi driver's killing - "Four teenaged brothers and a 15-year-old girl have been sentenced by a Swedish court over the murder of a man she had accused of rape. The victim, a taxi driver, was found hanged in a nature reserve in central Sweden in March. The court in Uppsala found that because of the earlier allegations involving the girl he had been lured there with the promise of sexual favours. He was then overpowered and his body was not found for another week."
Iraqi man arrested for pushing German girl (16) in front of train : r/europe_sub - "A 31-year-old man has been arrested in Germany for the death of a sixteen-year-old girl who was hit by a freight train. The man of Iraqi nationality is suspected of pushing the girl in front of the train. The man has been admitted to a clinic. He had previously been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. The incident took place August 11 at Friedland station in central Germany. The police initially said it was an accident. But the Public Prosecution Service (OM) reported on Friday evening that the suspect's DNA was found on the victim's shoulder. The suspect and the victim did not know each other. "The amount of DNA involved is such that we rule out that this was caused by a light touch. The DNA must have been there by a firmer, more forceful touch," Bild quotes. The Public Prosecution Service also says it has new information showing that the police had received a report shortly before the incident. A man is said to have caused unrest at the station. When officers arrived on scene, the suspect led officers to the girl's body. He was then interrogated, but released the same day due to insufficient evidence. Asylum request was rejected at the end of 2022 An asylum request from the Iraqi was rejected at the end of 2022. The man could have been deported to Lithuania since March this year, writes Der Spiegel. The Iraqi was reportedly arrested in July for not paying a fine. That same month, a request from the German immigration authorities to detain him pending his deportation was rejected by the judge, partly because the risk of flight had not been sufficiently substantiated. German Interior Minister Daniela Behrens wants to investigate why the man was not deported to Lithuania. According to her, the case shows the problems surrounding European asylum agreements. "It is impossible to explain to citizens that people live in Germany for years, while a completely different EU country is responsible for them," the Social Democrat told broadcaster NDR."

Naked African refugee terrorizes small German town again and again - "A naked refugee from Africa is continuously causing chaos in the small German town of Neuffen in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The man routinely strips naked and rampages through the town, with authorities “unable” to stop him for two years. The town, like many German towns, is known as a tranquil place close to the city of Stuttgart. However, the town of 6,000 is no longer as tranquil as it used to be. The African refugee arrived from Africa two years ago, has a variety of mental issues, and easily loses his temper, according to Bild newspaper. Among his victims are children and the elderly... Ahmad H. told the paper he saw the African man attack an elderly victim. “The naked man pushed the man to the ground and hit him. I then armed myself with a street traffic sign and ran over,” said Ahmad... The African man has struck fear in residents for his past actions, including targeting the elderly and children. Dirk F., who is a neighbor of the man, said: “He’s also been standing naked in front of my door. He harasses and threatens other people, and the police are called repeatedly.”... other police sources have indicated the man is from the African nation of Togo. The man has reportedly been taken to a psychiatric hospital since the latest incident, but there are worries he could be quickly released again. In fact, a police source from Neuffen said they expect the man to be released soon, which means the man could soon be back on the streets of the quaint town. "
