Doctor Who Ratings Crash to All-Time Low in Viewership - "Another round of applause goes out to Russell T Davies for completely destroying Doctor Who, as it’s now confirmed that the new season’s launch on Saturday hit the lowest viewership in the show’s 60+ year history. Following the first season from last year which achieved the worst ratings in the history of Doctor Who, Davies and Ncuti Gatwa have set a new record ratings low. The UK overnight ratings reveal that the premiere episode of Doctor Who Season 2 was only watched by 2 million viewers. There have been rumors that Doctor Who is getting canceled and is about to go on a big hiatus following the conclusion of Season 2... It’s known that none of the Doctor Who episodes on Disney+ made the Nielsen ratings, which are automatically turned on in your accounts... Similar to the Chris Chibnall and Jodie Whittaker era, and last season, the fan reaction to Doctor Who Season 2 hasn’t been positive. Currently, on Rotten Tomatoes, the Season 2 premiere episode only has a 45% fan score. The fan score, including all the episodes from 2023, is only at 36%."

You have to wonder why Hollywood keeps putting out this sort of content. There’s failure after failure after failure, yet they keep churning it out. Is it incompetence? Do they like losing money? Or are they getting incentivized and subsidized via DEI funding to put out this crap? I mean, they can’t be this stupid, right? There has to be a reason. Back to Thunderbolts and Ballerina, official data reveals their audience was made up mostly of males. Females avoided the flicks. Thunderbolts skewed 65% male, and Ballerina 63% male. Of that, 26% were Hispanic for Thunderbolts, and 27% for Ballerina, which is considered low. To boot, Ballerina features Hispanic actress Ana de Armas in the starring role, so they didn’t even come out to support their own people. Feminist YouTuber Grace Randolph actually pointed out the numbers, and she questioned, “What has happened to the appeal of killer babes? Angelina Jolie built an entire career off of it.” Randolph also points to how Scarlett Johansson has performed better with Lucy. My answer: isn’t it obvious? Where are these killer babes? Again, as I said in my previous article, there’s no T&A. There are no killer babes. Scarlett Johansson was super sexy as Black Widow in Iron Man 2 and The Avengers. She even pranced in front of Jon Favreau and the production team, showing off her costume as Favreau checked her out up and down. Nowadays, this would probably land you on the front page of Variety, with claims of sexual harassment. Why then did Black Widow fail? Per Johansson’s own words, it’s a #MeToo movie. Florence Pugh and Yelena? She’s depressed. There’s no T&A, and her character comes off boring, dull, and grey. Where’s the sex appeal? Where are the boyfriends?" They got it right with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow when the MCU first started. A female assassin will use her feminine traits to get close to the target. Females don’t have the strength of males. That’s just a fact. A female assassin isn’t going to be used to go in guns a blazin’ and kick the ass out of 250lbs dudes. She’s going to use her sex appeal and her brains, get close to the target, and then take him out. Sure, she’ll kick some ass, but she’s gotta look good doing it. And Scarlett Johansson does that (she also looks good in Jurassic World Rebirth). Does Yelena?... Have you guys noticed that all the girls in these various movies and TV shows look SUPER SEXY on the Red Carpet, in interviews, and on their social media (Pugh even showed off her ass to promote Thunderbolts on Jimmy Kimmel)? Yet, their characters in the movies have zero sex appeal? Maybe there’s a big clue where to start."

But this failure reveals a deeper problem: the underlying contempt for the audience. Wokeness, both in politics and entertainment, carries within it a strong and explicit element of hostility – particularly toward white people and men. While this approach initially gained compliance through social pressure and corporate acquiescence a few years ago, such accommodations were, of course, temporary. Amongst the people, and in courtrooms, by 2024 wokeness has become toxic. To a large part of the audience, it is an embarrassing, widely resented, relic of the past, and the people need to see that acknowledged by candidates. They, especially men, need to see wokeness disavowed. At this point, it is not enough to be not woke. One must be anti-woke. What does anti-woke mean? It means having a preference for meritocracy, ambition, freedom, and humor. It also means, in an era where cancellations have become ideological weapons, handling accusations with fact-based, level-headed judgment to avoid witch hunts and injustice. It means preferring to think about ambitious plans rather than petty grievances. Despite mainstream media resistance, this cultural tendency gained momentum over the past few years. Ultimately, people want their country to do well. 67% percent of voters knew that the country was on the wrong track partly because this woke philosophy had gained some purchase. It did not appeal to most people when the Democratic Party organized social media censorship at scale. People eventually did get sick of those accusations against men that seemed obviously manufactured and false. People care about real, serious, and substantiated allegations, but no one can take Julie Swetnick seriously, Jean Carroll seems like a nut with weird fantasies, and Stacey Williams’ last minute Trump accusation fell apart in less than one news cycle. Few believed that Trump was a legitimate felon. You could not convince 100 random Americans that the “felonies” Trump was accused of were legitimate felonies. These criminal accusations were truly a gift to the GOP from the politics gods (second only to “defund the police”). Nothing better illustrates that the D party lives in a bubble than their inability to anticipate the public reaction to his indictments. No one outside the bubble believed that Trump or the whole GOP was “fascist,” a “Nazi” or “literally Hitler.” One hundred percent of the time devoted to that name calling eroded credibility and was time wasted (especially while the left coddled anti-semitic protestors who actually were pretty close to being “literally Hitler”). People on the whole did not believe that there was a right wing insurrection on January 6. If there is a right wing insurrection, to be honest, you will know it. You can pretend that the audience is your fantasy audience, but it is not true and you do so at your peril. Kamala Harris was the wokest of the woke - an identity that by 2024 had become 'problematic.' The assumption was that people outside the bubble either didn't matter or would be forced to live in the new cultural world. But, as it turns out, if you live in a bubble, you lose. Back in Hollywood, executives made a similar assumption: that audiences had no alternative to their messaging because every major network was pushing the same ideology. In a difficult time, this has unnecessarily made the business more difficult. Important genres like comedy have been particularly suppressed, as they don't easily conform to ideological restrictions. There are no good consequences to not giving customers what they want. US Box Office is down, churn has been high, and, while there are multiple reasons, creative constraints are one reason. Suddenly when the wokeness came, new American series that customers thought were great (IMDb > 8) became fewer and fewer."
