He’s an A student, has a 3.7 GPA." Andrew went on to claim that Anthony 'was not the aggressor' in the incident that led to Metcalf's death, adding: "He was not the one who started it."... Fundraiser for Accused Killer of Austin Metcalf Rakes in Nearly $90K - "A fundraiser for a Texas teen accused of fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf garnered nearly $90,000 in donations from more than 2,400 donors on Sunday, as the teen claims he acted in self-defense."
Killer teen Karmelo Anthony's family reveal OTHER plans for $400k 'legal defense fund' - "The family of a teen who fatally stabbed a 17-year-old boy in Texas plans to use his $400,000 legal defense fund to move home and hire security after facing racist threats... During the hearing, prosecutors asked his father Andrew Anthony why he could not use the more than $415,000 in donated funds for his son's defense to pay the original $1million bond, which was reduced to $250,000 on Monday. Just 10 percent of that amount must be paid, meaning Anthony will likely be free very soon. Andrew Anthony said the fund was to be used for Anthony's legal defense. But he also disclosed that the cash would be used for security and to help the family move after the threats they have allegedly faced since the killing... Anthony's attorney Michael Howard said, regarding the money: 'It would be disingenuous to say there isn’t money... But it is not a bond fund. This family needs to be able to survive.'... Anthony's father was also questioned in court over an incident in the teen's high school back in February that involved an altercation 'assault.'... Metcalf's killing has divided the Frisco community and nation at large; Judge Tucker said 'they've never had the security issues they've faced with this case,' according to Fox 4. A spokesman for the Anthony family was previously forced to deny that the accused killer had been bullied by Austin before the fatal confrontation at the match. The two boys had never met one another prior to the horrific stabbing. The spokesman addressed the community after some of Anthony's online supporters claimed 'there was more to the story' of the stabbing and said without evidence the teen had been bullied."

Karmelo Anthony renting $900K home in gated community with family, bought new car after release on bond in Austin Metcalf murder case: report - "The Texas teen accused of fatally stabbing a high school football star at a track meet allegedly lives in a $900,000 home with his family inside a luxurious gated community — despite requesting that a judge lower his $1 million bond because of financial difficulties, according to a report. Karmelo Anthony, 17, is holed up with his family at the pricey home inside the gated community of Richwoods in Frisco, Texas, after he was released from jail Monday on a reduced $250,000 bond for allegedly killing Austin Metcalf earlier this month... Residents in the gated community were allegedly unaware the family was living at the home until Anthony was released Monday, and have voiced concerns about having the accused killer in their exclusive neighborhood... Another neighbor also told the outlet that Anthony’s family is “not poor” if they live in the gated community. “They’re not poor people. That’s for sure,” he said. The home has also been getting flooded with deliveries, allegedly for Anthony, with Amazon trucks being seen making multiple drop-offs at his home"

Killing of Austin Metcalf - Wikipedia
Amazingly but not surprisingly, the article doesn't mention Karmelo Anthony at all (it's only in the titles of the sources)
Prioleau Alexander: What Happened With Karmelo Anthony? - "The days that followed have been almost unbelievable—at least if viewed in terms of the most basic behavior of civilized humans—but if viewed in the post-Saint-George-Floyd America, it is exactly what one would expect. Before proceeding, let me say I wanted to be above board in my reporting, so I went to CNN to learn more. I did a search on “Karmelo Anthony” and “Carmelo Anthony” and here’s how many CNN stories were posted, a full week after the (alleged) murder: Zero. I pressed on, and searched MSNBC… Zero. So, after his arrest, a black judge named Angela Tucker reduced Anthony’s bond to $250,000, and allowed him to be released on “house arrest” with parental supervision. A “GiveSendGo” fundraising site was established for Anthony’s “defense,” and has already raised $500,000. None of that funding was used to help post bond, with Anthony’s lawyers stating, “it wasn’t a bond fund,” and that the money was going to help his parents “pay their rent and bills.” One of their new “rent bills” includes their immediate renting of a $900,000 home in a gated community... I understand if you’re confused about the rage in the comments, given that Karmelo is clearly (allegedly) guilty as hell... one thing’s for damn sure—the family of Karmelo Anthony has taken a run at the title of World Heavyweight Champions of Moronic Decisions... The Anthony family decided it would be a good idea to hold a press conference, and speak about the situation. As a “family spokesman,” they retained the services of an Al Sharpton-esque activist and career-criminal named “Minister” Dominique Alexander. Such a winner is he that in 2011 he confessed to shaking and hitting his girlfriend’s baby… was sentenced to probation… was later sentenced to five years for multiple parole violations, then served a total of eight days. His esteemed resume goes on include a conviction for felony theft and forgery, and a jail sentence of… two days. I’m not sure why this happens so often to black families. There are 40 million educated Americans with spotless records who’d jump at the chance to stand up and plead mercy, calm tempers, and speak on the importance of the justice system. For some reason, the charlatans and grifters are all too often chosen to “lead,” and it simply makes matters worse... How did Karmelo’s outside-the-home environment poison him so badly? He wasn’t in a gang and was participating in organized sports. Was it his friends? The never-ending glorification of violence in Hip-Hop music? Is it the endless drumbeat of the media regarding black victimhood? Black “leaders” like “Minister” Alexander constantly blaming the white victim? Karmelo Anthony was, for some reason, on the ragged edge that day… he was looking for a way to lash out. Sure, drug addiction may lead to senseless murder, but he had everything going for him, including good grades and a promising future. Something in his psyche triggered that fury—and the drive to murder without a thought about the consequences. Someone needs to figure out what’s happening to our nation’s young black men. The situation grows worse every year, and civilized Americans of every color are growing less and less patient—with the violent crime, robbery, out-of-wedlock babies, the gangs, and the drugs. There are a few uncomfortable factors that must be addressed, because they are true—no matter how much we wish they weren’t. Our welfare system pays black women to have babies, but only if the babies are born out-of-wedlock. Since this law was enacted, marriage among blacks went from being the “most committed to staying together” demographic to an out-of-wedlock birthrate of 78%. Young black men are growing up without a father in the house, and virtually every study shows a father’s leadership and discipline is critical to a young man’s success in life. Young black men are per capita wildly over-represented in violent crime statistics. Black boys excelling in public school are far more likely to be bullied by friends for “acting white.” Recent studies show black children are read (aloud by their parents) an average of 1,000,000 fewer words than their white counterparts before reaching first grade. Outside pressure has caused young black males to adopt as “their culture” a style of attire, mannerisms, and speech that have nothing to do with their actual culture, but instead intimidates those around them. Numerous studies have shown that “black sounding names” are subconsciously viewed negatively on resumes, yet the trend continues unabated—another trend that has nothing to do with American black culture. If the small fraction of these pressures placed on Karmelo Anthony resulted in him committing a cold-blooded murder for a simple act of “disrespect,” the future appears grim for the young men raised with all of these pressures in the lives. What we as a country have done thus far to help these young men has failed—in totality. The lives of these young men, despite over 50 years of social programs and an estimated one trillion dollars invested in “the war on poverty,” are worse than ever. A radically different approach will be needed, or failure among this demographic will become a self-fulfilling prophecy."
Karmelo Anthony's fixer launches fresh attack on victim's grieving father after his astonishing move - "The spokesperson for accused teen killer Karmelo Anthony has doubled down on his criticisms of the stabbing victim's grieving father after he kicked him out a press conference last month... Alexander claimed he didn't even know who the elder Metcalf was, but insisted he did not come in peace. 'I don't know this man, I never saw him a day in my life. So, I didn't point him out and say "Oh, he's got to go." I didn't even know who he was,' he said. 'This rush to judgement, these attacks on our organization, the attacks on me... keep them going. I'm built for that.'"
Karmelo Anthony’s rep indicates he kicked Austin Metcalf’s dad out of press conference because he ‘didn’t know if he was gonna pull out a’ gun - "President and founder of the Next Generation Action Network (NGAN) Dominique Alexander, who is a representative for Karmelo Anthony's family, defended removing Austin Metcalf's father from a press conference in support of Anthony, indicating that he didn't know if the man "was gonna put out a" gun. Alexander cut himself off before saying naming the weapon"
The truth about the 'threats' that prompted teen murder suspect Karmelo Anthony and his family to flee their $900k gated community home - "At least one of the threats of violence that prompted alleged teen murderer Karmelo Anthony and his family to flee their gated community home was carried out by kids with water guns... While Metcalf's family have shied away from the cameras, the Anthony family have spoken loudly, hosting press conferences where they say they're the ones being victimized. Just days ago, they abandoned their $900,000 home in a gated community and went into hiding in an undisclosed location. Police records obtained by the Daily Mail show that Anthony's father called 911 last week, when Anthony was still staying there, after teenagers drove by with toy guns. Frisco cops were called to home April 15 by Andrew Anthony, the suspect's father, around 7:51 p.m. after two Jeeps with teenage passengers were seen driving past the house through the door bell camera. Within the first minute of his interaction with police, Andrew acknowledged the weapons the kids had were 'play guns.' He further described the two Jeeps as having four passengers each, with both white and black males in the cars. Anthony also told police that the 'play guns' were never pointed at them. The incident report says officers caught up with the kids. 'High schoolers were driving through the area with water guns looking for their friend in the area to squirt with their water guns,' the officer detailed. 'Subject stated they did not realize Karmelo Anthony's house was right there at first and that they were only trying to find their uninvolved friends house. Subject apologized for spooking the residents and stated there was no intent to make contact with them. No offense or emergency at this time.' Despite this incident deemed a non-emergency by the local police, Anthony's family's has been very public about 'threats' they have received since their son became the suspect in a murder case. No specifics have been shared about those alleged incidents. Andrew Anthony did not immediately respond to Daily Mail's request for comment. Anthony's mother wept as she spoke about the negative attention her son's case has drawn on her family at a press conference last week. 'We have endured death threats,' Anthony's mother Kayla Hayes said while her voice cracked with emotion at the Dallas press conference. 'My 13-year-old daughter is afraid to sleep in her own bedroom because she's fearful of what may happen to her.' Her husband wiped away tears from her face while she disputed what she called lies about her family that have been spread online, and vowed the 'the truth would come out' when her son has his day in court."
Shirtless J6er spews white supremacist lies - "That event was led by Jake Lang, who was among the J6 prisoners pardoned by Trump, and Phillip Anderson, whose January 6 case was dismissed. Lang is a Republican candidate for the Senate seat in Florida left vacant by Secretary of State Marco Rubio."
Of course, the article doesn't say what the "lies" are
Family Of Karmelo Anthony Hosted The Most Disgusting Press Conference I’ve Ever Seen - "This guy is currently the primary representative of Karmelo Anthony and his family. And he doesn’t start this press conference by talking about how Anthony is innocent, or how sorry he feels for the family of Austin Metcalf. Instead, Dominique Alexander begins by lecturing Jeff Metcalf — the father of the slain teenager — about how he’s “disrespectful,” and how he’s supposedly disgracing his son’s memory. Yes, Karmelo Anthony’s representative personally attacks the father of the boy Karmelo Anthony killed. It is one of the most cartoonishly evil and grotesque displays you’ll ever see. He can barely speak English, even though he’s apparently the spokesman for this family. Really, he’s doing marketing for the “Next Generation Action Network.” But at the same time, even though this guy’s barely able to string a sentence together, the message is pretty clear. He’s saying that the father of Austin Metcalf — whose name he can’t even pronounce, and whose son was just brutally murdered by his client — doesn’t deserve to be in the same room as the family of Karmelo Anthony. And then he implies he has some dirt on Austin Metcalf, but he doesn’t say what it is. He just wants to smear the name of the dead child as much as possible. He also clearly wants to torment Jeff Metcalf, a grieving father who has shown Karmelo Anthony and his family infinitely more grace and compassion than they deserve. And for good measure he implies that Jeff Metcalf is a racist. And then they had the police throw Jeff out of the press conference. And of course, when Jeff Metcalf was told to leave, he didn’t stab anyone, as Karmelo Anthony did in the same situation. This illiterate scumbag knows exactly what he’s doing. He understands that Anthony’s only real chance of acquittal is to stoke racial conflict, in the hopes that he can pollute the jury. That’s what this entire press conference was about. At no point during his remarks, which lasted around 30 minutes, did Dominique Alexander outline a coherent defense of what Anthony did. Instead, in addition to lashing out at the victim’s father, he suggested that the Frisco Independent School District was responsible for Austin Metcalf’s death, because they didn’t cancel the track meet during inclement weather... Yeah, how many of y’all have asked why the school district didn’t cancel the track meet? And for that matter, how many of y’all have asked why Austin Metcalf decided to attend the track meet in the first place? And how many of y’all have asked why track meets even exist, as a concept? Is it really even a legitimate sport in the first place? After all, if track meets didn’t exist, then Austin Metcalf would still be alive today. So why aren’t y’all asking about that? To call this line of reasoning “low-IQ” is an insult to every bottom-feeding microbe that exists in the deepest depths of the ocean. This is probably the most flagrant and ineffective attempt to deflect responsibility from Karmelo Anthony that’s possible to articulate, while keeping a straight face. And it gets worse when you consider the context of what this guy is saying. The reason he’s going after the school district is that they’ve announced they’re planning to expel Karmelo Anthony. Under the circumstances, that’s a very reasonable decision. After all, we don’t want any more teenagers to be stabbed to death, if we can help it. Every school district in the country has very strict rules against bringing deadly weapons to school events. They also have rules against using the weapon to kill another student... they’re planning “direct action” outside the offices of the school district, because Anthony isn’t going to be allowed to graduate. That’s what this “next generation” activist group is focusing on. Their top priority, just a couple of weeks after their client stabbed someone to death, is intimidating the local school district over a graduation ceremony. They’re not interested in mounting a substantive legal defense, or convincing anyone that their client is innocent. All they’re capable of doing is intimidating everyone in their path, whether it’s the victim’s father or the school district. Put mildly, that’s a sign that these people are not very bright or effective. And later on in the press conference, they made their incompetence even more apparent. Watch as Dominique Alexander invokes someone named “Daniel Pennuh” and then claims that Kyle Rittenhouse shot multiple people in the back with an AK-47, none of which is true or makes any sense whatsoever. It’s incredible to watch. He’s ranting about “disinformation.” And then he states, in the same breath, that Kyle Rittenhouse shot three people in the back with an AK-47. First of all, Kyle Rittenhouse was not carrying an AK-47. He used an AR-15 style weapon, which is not remotely the same thing. And secondly, Kyle Rittenhouse did not shoot three people in the back. In fact, there’s a very graphic and iconic photo from the trial, which demonstrates clearly that Kyle Rittenhouse shot Gaige Grosskreutz in the arm, while Grosskreutz was charging at Rittenhouse with a handgun. Rittenhouse also shot another man named Anthony Huber one time in the chest. The first attacker that Rittenhouse shot, a child molester named Joseph Rosenbaum, was initially hit in the groin, then in the hand and thigh. Then he was shot in the head and ultimately the back. In other words, in no sense did Kyle Rittenhouse shoot three men in the back with an AK-47. Literally no part of that sentence is true. And the most important point in the Rittenhouse case is that all of the people he shot were trying to kill or seriously harm him. But the race hustler wants you to believe this guy’s fake retelling of the case, so that he can draw a fake parallel with Kyle Rittenhouse and “Daniel Pennuh.” But Rittenhouse and “Daniel Pennuh” raised money because they were clearly innocent. Karmelo Anthony, on the other hand, is raising money because he’s guilty... There are hundreds, if not thousands of comments like this. One of them reads, :”Make YT [as in, white people] mad.” Another reads, “Protect our own.” And so on. During this press conference, neither Karmelo Anthony’s family nor their representative condemned any of this. They didn’t discourage their supporters from posting explicitly anti-white race hatred on their GiveSendGo... Yes, her son “put God first” by stabbing a kid through the heart. That’s the takeaway here. We’re supposed to feel sorry for these people, and pretend to be impressed by their parenting. And then we’re supposed to believe whatever she’s saying about GiveSendGo... They’re uploading footage showing how they’re treating Karmelo Anthony like a celebrity. Again, it’s just incredible to watch the sheer brazenness of this whole display. They’re not just treating this thug like a celebrity. They’re also flaunting it. They want you to know that, having killed a white kid, Anthony is being treated like Kobe Bryant. They want to send the message to other black kids that they’ll get the same treatment, if they decide to shank a white student at their school... Thugs are defending thugs. And the more white people suffer and die, the more they’ll gloat in public. That is where we are, all these years after the civil rights era and affirmative action and Barack Obama would supposedly usher in a new generation of equality and racial harmony. We are approaching Rwanda, circa 1994, at high speed. And whatever happens to Karmelo Anthony, everyone in this country needs to be aware of that. Open racial resentment is how they plan to get Karmelo Anthony off the hook. That’s their legal strategy. And the really unsettling thing — which is even more unsettling than this horror show of a press conference — is that it just might work."
Co-Founder of Platform Hosting Karmelo Anthony's Fund Admits Many 'Are Donating for the Wrong Reasons' - "GiveSendGo co-founder Jacob Wells said the site is upholding its principles, as it did when hosting a fundraising campaign for Kyle Rittenhouse when he faced murder charges for an incident that took place in the 2020 Kenosha, Wisconsin, riots. “How proud am I of this campaign? I don’t, I wouldn’t say I’m proud at all,” Wells said, according to Fox News. “I have no pride in having this being on GiveSendGo. I just have appreciation for what GiveSendGo is doing in the midst of these tragic moments, which is standing on principle, which is loving people even in the midst of very hard and dark places,” he said. The campaign had raised more than $516,000 as of Wednesday evening. Because Anthony is black and Metcalf was white, Wells said some donations are likely designed to support racial division more than Anthony’s family. “There will always be people who are donating for the wrong reasons, on any campaign. There are people that believe the best way forward is racial division. That’s what they believe. So they’re going to stoke the flames of racial division however they can,” Wells said. “When you live in free societies, which we do, there’s a price to pay, and that is it allows for some people to do things that might not be good. And I think people do that all the time,” he said... “When someone is championing a racial narrative that is divisive and not unifying, then I would claim that that’s a wrong reason to be donating. And there are people that have donated that are making claims that are divisive and not unifying. And those are in some of the comments,” he said. “Unfortunately, in free societies, people can say stuff that is divisive and not unifying,” Wells added."
What is Karmelo Anthony accused of? Dr. Umar accuses the media of spreading lies about the case - "During The Art of Dialogue interview on May 1, Dr. Umar claimed the media misled the public by portraying the altercation as a one-on-one fight between Metcalf and Anthony. However, the activist claimed that both Austin Metcalf and his brother, Hunter, were involved in the incident with Karmelo Anthony... It is important to note that Dr. Umar mixed up the brothers' names during the interview. Austin Metcalf was the teenager who died during the altercation, not Hunter... Dr. Umar also compared the alleged physical advantages the Metcalf brothers had over Karmelo Anthony, implying that it was plausible for Anthony to act in self-defense if "two white boys in racist Texas" allegedly attacked him... While reports about the situation have not mentioned Hunter Metcalf being involved in the altercation, Dr. Umar claimed otherwise. He alleged that eyewitnesses at the scene reached out to him and said it was a "two-on-one fight" rather than the "one-on-one" like the media seemed to portray."
Ironic. Disinformation is whatever contradicts the left wing narrative
