Women warned you: Yaniv's human rights case is the inevitable result of gender identity ideology - "Oddly, the entire queer movement, the left, and all of mainstream media have been politely ignoring the absolute shit show that has been taking place at the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal this month. Oddly, journalists covering the queer beat have declined to do their jobs, despite the fact that these hearings are only taking place because of the strides the queer movement has made in its fight to make gender identity ideology law. Oddly, those who are incredibly concerned about “despicable” women who dare discuss the implications of allowing men to self-identify as women have not managed to find time to comment on an individual who filed human rights complaints against 16 women for refusing to wax his genitalia, claiming this constitutes discrimination based on gender identity. Oddly, media outlets with the financial means and staff available to cover this case have left it to independents who are much more vulnerable and much more pressed for resources than they are. Oddly, one high profile woman who had been actively tweeting about the complainant, Jessica (previously Jonathan) Yaniv, was recently permanently banned from Twitter. Oddly, another high profile woman (hi!) who publicly named Yaniv as the one behind these complaints on Twitter was also banned. Oddly, the fact that this is precisely the kind of thing women have been trying to warn policy makers, the media, activists, and the public would be a certain result of gender identity ideology and legislation is being completely ignored by those who were warned. Oddly, it turns out gender identity ideology hurts women after all... more than one of the women Yaniv took to the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal for declining to give him a Brazilian bikini wax have been forced to close their businesses as a result... Yaniv specifically targeted women from ethnic and religious minorities.Oddly, reporters covering the “diversity” beat and activists who claim a vested interest in protecting minorities are unconcerned about this... "there are safety issues for the estheticians — particularly for women working alone out of their homes... There are very good reasons why women do not wish to be alone with strange, naked men. And most sane people understand that a woman should not be forced to touch a man’s genitals against her will. But when there is such a thing, as the trans activist movement claims, as “a female penis,” things that are very straightforward and obvious are suddenly indefensible"

Another B.C. woman forced out of business in transgender male-genitalia waxing case - "Marcia Da Silva, who is an immigrant from Brazil operated the business out of her home where her small children also live. Da Silva claims she refused to perform the procedure on the claimant, Jessica Yaniv, due to safety concerns raised by her husband and alleged harassment on Yaniv’s part and not because of the claimant’s identity... Yaniv, who was formerly known as Jonathan Yaniv, has taken fifteen other B.C. women to the tribunal for refusing to wax her male genitalia citing discrimination based on gender identity and is seeking financial compensation. Many of the woman are of East Asian ethnicity and have English as their second language"

Accusations fly at human rights hearing into transgender woman’s Brazilian wax complaint - "business owner Marcia Da Silva said she was not comfortable carrying out a Brazilian wax on a person with male genitalia, nor did she have the training for it. Jay Cameron, Da Silva’s lawyer and litigation manager with the Alberta-based Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, told the hearing that a ruling against his client would be tantamount to ordering “intimate services” against someone’s will... The tribunal had initially issued a publication ban shielding Yaniv’s identity, but on Wednesday Cousineau decided to lift the ban based on Yaniv’s social media presence and public advocacy... At one point, Yaniv equated the denial of service to neo-Nazism. Under cross-examination, Cameron put to Yaniv that Brazilian waxes were services performed only around female genitalia and that what Yaniv should have sought was a “brozilian” — waxes that involve male genitalia.That prompted Yaniv to tell the tribunal that she was intersex and that she had female body parts.“It exists,” she said, declining to elaborate."

Yaniv’s Other Racket: How a Single Gender Troll Managed to Get 'Hundreds' of Women Thrown Off Twitter - "JY seems to have sometimes used the name “Jonathan” when first making contact (an act of self-“deadnaming,” as it were), revealing only later in the conversations that the “Brazilian” in question would be performed on a client who is legally a woman, albeit a woman who has a penis and testicles... One tribunal member assigned to the case opined in May, for instance, that “waxing can be critical gender-affirming care for transgender women,” even while conceding that such waxing comprises “a very intimate service that is sometimes performed by women who are themselves vulnerable... recordings, screenshots and other evidence have emerged that appear to show JY allegedly describing South Asians as “turban fuckers,” engaging in sexualized chat with girls in their mid-teens, sending naked photos to fans of a music band whose web services JY once managed, being arrested for brandishing an illegal weapon, taking photos in public bathrooms with others visible, pestering girls about tampon usage, accusing immigrants of being dirty and dishonest, and confessing to doxxing at least one rival. Some of those who have crossed paths with JY describe this individual as a sexual fetishist who is obsessed with the act of menstruation. While JY occasionally has made vague claims to the effect that some of the most incriminating evidence is the work of hoaxers, Oger reported earlier this year that she also had heard numerous personal testimonials that reinforce the allegations against Yaniv... JY may be an outlier within the trans community, just as Oger says. But the very purpose of our legal system is, in many cases, to protect vulnerable people from such outliers—since we hardly need protection from the vast bulk of citizens (whether trans or not) who present themselves in good faith. Moreover, to argue about whether JY is “really” trans, or acting out the part of a woman for prurient reasons, is beside the point: Since a policy of unfettered self-identification defines a woman simply as someone who claims to be a woman—full stop, end of story—then even a male-bodied person who is completely (and even transparently) insincere must be treated as fully female. In the UK, in particular, this policy has put women at risk of violent sexual assault—as in the notorious case of Karen White, a middle-aged pedophile and sex criminal who was housed with female prisoners... Some of the cataloged posts do seem highly caustic, and even hateful. Readers may reasonably agree or disagree with Twitter’s decision to discipline these users. But it should be noted that many of the identified posts seem to have arisen during interactions that featured JY provoking interlocutors with equally appalling comments. In the case of Ms. Shepherd, for instance, the male-bodied JY had bragged about having a “tight pussy,” an asset JY described as operating in contradistinction to Ms. Shepherd’s own sex parts, which JY speculated had been dilated as a result of childbirth... JY seems to have become focused on the tactic of banning social-media critics as early as 2012. But JY’s efforts in this regard rose sharply in 2018, when Twitter shifted its content policies, and the former “Jonathan Yaniv” began to present more frequently as female, or shifted back and forth sporadically between “Jonathan” and “Jessica,” depending on the interaction. Some users who have contacted us believe this latter tactic was used as a bait-and-switch to entrap critics into acts of misgendering, which could be weaponized through reports to Twitter"

Jessica Yaniv loses cases against women who wouldn’t “wax her balls” - "The decision noted, “human rights legislation does not require a service provider to wax a type of genitals they are not trained for and have not consented to wax.” The decision further found that Yaniv “engaged in improper conduct,” “filed complaints for improper purposes,” and concluded Yaniv’s testimony was “disingenuous and self-serving.” Finally, noted the Tribunal, Yaniv was “evasive and argumentative and contradicted herself” while giving evidence... Most significantly, the Tribunal ordered costs of $2,000 payable each to three of the five women represented by the Justice Centre, including one woman, Mrs. Hehar Gill, who had been forced to close her business due to Yaniv’s vexatious litigation. According to the JCCF’s news release, Mrs. Gill, a practicing Sikh, explained to Yaniv that she was only able to provide services to female clients due to her religion."

Jessica Yaniv Is Most Likely Just yet Another Alt-Right Troll - "This movement of skepticism surrounding Yaniv has been led by the trans community’s most progressive block, and it all came after alt-right personality Blaire White — who often tokenizes her trans experience to deny other trans people the courtesy of being well-treated — put her on blast in a YouTube video decrying self-ID laws, and positing the theory that trans people would only exploit them for malicious use... most articles mentioning her presence as significant in the trans rights advocacy community before the most recent round of controversy, were predominantly coming from outlets with an outspoken right-wing bias"

If the "right" say it, it must be wrong
The logic seems to be: trans self-identification and the full spectrum of trans rights is a great thing and if you oppose it you're a bigot. If anyone abuses that, showing how problematic the two claims are, this doesn't show the problem with them - but that that person is just an isolated bad apple, an "alt-right troll"
