I live in South Africa. Crazy to make comments on what you know nothing about. As a South African who can think for himself, this is my take on it.
Yes, apartheid was terrible and caused a huge gap between the rich and poor.
But then when you think about it, had it not been for white people ruling South Africa, we would not had the infrastructure and economy, we would have been just like other African countries. So the blacks would have had 100% of nothing by now.
Unfortunately, had the previous government had the foresight of educating the masses, sharing the wealth with the masses and guiding on how to run a country together without any race bias. Also the previous government didn't keep an eye on the population that was growing rapidly.
So when the 90s came about the old government realized they were outnumbered then the freeing Nelson Mandela and the first democratic elections took place. People are still uneducated because of the apartheid government, didn't know what it takes to run a country.....the ANC won by a landslide. Complete change of government, with people who didn't know how to run a country. But the first few years were ok, we had Nelson Mandela as president and most of the parliament consisted of people who loved South Africa, they were real heroes, who fought for the people of South Africa and many were jailed for it. The best years for South Africa was when Nelson Mandela was alive. He was a amazing human being and a leader.
After he passed on and most of the freedom fighters also passed on, a new government and parliament was in place.
Rampant corruption, here we had people who had never seen so much of money and all they did was steal steal steal...up to today. Infrastructure and economy was failing. When the masses ask for services then easy way out....Blame apartheid.
Blame the whites, Blame the Indians, blame the coloured......never the government.
And blacks have it in them to destroy everything, let's burn schools to fight for free education, let's burn an hospital to fight for free health care , etc.
And that is how we live, as soon as things go wrong, burn it down.
And then we have BEE, (Broabased Black Empowerment) so every job, every business, every charity is for the blacks only) We have the most useless people in charge of everything, they have huge entitlement issues, customer service is no more, everything is hanging by a thread.
Crime is up with more than 97% committing by blacks. The rest of us still struggle. Most blacks live in informal settlements, electricity is illegally taken from street lights, water is taken from illegally tapping into the water lines.....none of this paid for.
But the small percentage of us that pay our Utilities has had the price skyrocket, and the municipality run by blacks, doesn't care, if we don't pay on time....they cut us off.
That is South Africa.
Then we have illegal immigrants from all over Africa, India, Pakistan, China coming in like ants.
So don't make useless posts and comments about things you don't know.
I don't have a opinion on your president it's not my place as an outsider.
But I will thank him for given a few of our countrymen a chance and a home.
They are resourceful people who will only add positive things to your country.
As for us, hopefully the masses are starting to see the truth. And wake up before it's too late.
But the ignorant person who posted this, this is actually what our government does.
Here look here this is what the white man got, it's supposed to be yours. No it isn't.
If you love your country, if you want to lay claim to a country.....treat it with respect.
Invest your time and efforts in it.
You cannot say this country is mine....
Then burn to the ground.
All current South Africans are not responsible for our ancestors short sighted.
We hope our kids will not say the same about us."
