Meme - Ed Krassenstein: "Imagine being a transgender person in America today with all of the hate and demonization that is being directed at them."
Tristan Tate @TateTheTalisman: "The cool part about this post is the 5 chosen opening words. "Imagine being a transgender person". My brother in Christ, they're all imagining."

BBC gender correspondent tried to block coverage of trans criticism - "The BBC’s “gender and identity correspondent” sought to block coverage of a campaign group aiming to protect women-only spaces... Megha Mohan, who has held the specialist role since 2018, emailed a co-worker raising concerns about their plans to film a debate by the group Woman’s Place UK.  In the email – sent months after she started her role – Ms Mohan wrote: “There’s some concern from LGBT+ about giving this group a platform, they are seen as a more extreme organisation that we would be legitimizing (sic).”  In a follow-up email, she added: “A couple of LGBT contacts have told me about Woman’s Place and called them transphobes in the past.”  Woman’s Place UK was set up in 2017 by a group of women from the labour and trade union movement to defend women’s rights and safeguard single-sex spaces and services. It closed down last year after stating it had largely achieved its original aims.  The BBC’s proposed coverage of the group in 2018 was never published... its trans coverage was biased towards stories “celebrating the trans experience without adequate balance or objectivity”. It claims the BBC’s trans coverage is subject to “effective censorship” by specialist LGBT reporters who refuse to cover gender-critical stories.  The debate around transgender rights, and children being given irreversible medical interventions such as puberty blockers, has been one of the most highly charged issues in politics, society and medicine in recent years... She was appointed alongside Ben Hunte, who was made “LGBT correspondent”. The pair have reported extensively on transgender issues, in numerous instances focusing on the transgender experience or detailing the abuse the community suffered.  Ms Mohan interviewed transgender soldiers banned from the US army, while Mr Hunte wrote about the “distressing” waits for children to have gender reassignment treatment at the controversial Tavistock gender clinic.  The Telegraph could find no examples of the pair having written articles that focused on people who had de-transitioned or expressed concerns around transgender women using female-only spaces. In one incident in 2021, Ms Mohan posted a tweet praising an online story from the BBC’s Washington Bureau about a transgender teenager.  Edwina Wolstencroft, a former BBC Radio 3 editor, responded to the post, urging Ms Mohan to do a “story about a detransitioner” for “balance/impartiality”.  Ms Mohan replied: “Given your behaviour and how you’ve made minority people at the BBC feel when you worked there, I have no interest in engaging with you on any story.”  She deleted the responding tweet five days later, but Ms Wolstencroft complained to the BBC that the comment was defamatory.  The BBC’s Executive Complaints Unit (ECU) upheld the complaint, ruling that Ms Mohan’s tweet breached the BBC’s social media guidelines, which prohibit staff from posting “offensive or derogatory comments or content on social media”."

BBC has been ‘captured’ by minority gender ideology, says Guardian writer - "“I think if you look at an issue like sex and gender, I am a journalist who has written about it a lot from a Left-wing perspective. I do think that the accusations of bias are pretty strong.  “And when you have got the BBC editorial complaints unit sanctioning one of your colleagues, Justin Webb, for saying something factual, which is that trans women are male, or sanctioning Martine Croxall for correcting ‘pregnant people’ to ‘pregnant women’, it was really about the facial expression, afterwards.  “But at the same time the Editorial Complaints Unit does not respond to complaints from women saying ‘there’s a man here who’s killed someone and he is being referred to as a woman with female pronouns’, and the EDU says that fine.  “That shows that the BBC has been captured by a controversial minority ideology, and it is not representing the views of the British public.”"

BBC staff back Martine Croxall for saying 'women' instead of 'pregnant people' - as corporation is forced to correct its own news coverage of the row - "One senior BBC figure remarked: 'Most people didn't need a Supreme Court ruling to tell them what a woman is – but based on what happened to Martine Croxall, it seems someone at the BBC might.'...  the broadcaster was praised when she challenged a transgender activist who claimed the Supreme Court's ruling that the definition of a woman is based on biological sex may still need 'clarification'.  The BBC veteran firmly told ex-Labour MSP candidate Heather Herbert that the landmark ruling made it clear 'sex is binary and immutable'.  Leicestershire-born Ms Croxall repeatedly challenged Herbert after she called for further 'clarification' on single sex spaces, at one point reminding her: 'The ruling is that woman means biological sex.'  Politicians were quick to condemn the BBC's response."

The trans activists influencing British schools, sports and the NHS - "When PE teacher Harriet* spotted a Trans Inclusion in Sport webinar on social media being promoted by England Athletics, she was intrigued...  “I had an open mind, but came away feeling that it was short on facts and evidence, and that the main focus was equality for trans and non-binary people without any consideration for what was safe or fair”... “The presenter made several claims that I felt were problematic. One was that the advantage of male over female bodies is completely overstated, and that the quality of science behind this is flawed. We were also told that free speech against trans people was not allowed as ‘it harms them.’”  Given that many of the other 20 to 30 other participants were praising the “good advice”, Harriet “didn’t feel comfortable asking questions” herself. “Instead, I waited until everyone had left before asking about the girl in my class. I wanted to know how to keep her safe if she wanted to play in the boy’s teams,” she said. “The presenter said I was assuming gender stereotypes of boys being stronger and more aggressive, and I should treat her like I would treat a small boy with delayed puberty. But having taught teenagers of both sexes for over a decade, I knew all too well how different they could be physically, so I found this alarming.” Perhaps Harriet should not have been too surprised. The webinar was run by Gendered Intelligence, a group which describes itself as “a trans-led and trans-involving charity that works to increase understanding of gender diversity and improve the lives of trans people”... Now, as most government departments and other public bodies – including the BBC, Channel 4 and Ofcom – distance themselves from Stonewall’s controversial Diversity Champions Scheme, it seems there is a gap to fill for organisations seeking to show that their workplaces are sufficiently diverse and equal. And Gendered Intelligence appears to be stepping into the breach.  The work is clearly proving lucrative. The organisation – which gained charity status in 2019 – charges up to £2,215 for a full-day trans and non-binary inclusion course for up to a maximum of 15 people. It also charges up to £1,515 per three-and-a-half hour “awareness” session, which helped raise over £251,500 from training in 2023-24, compared with £194,000 in 2022-23 and £166,000 in 2021-22. Money has also been pouring in from other sources. Last year, it secured nearly £1m in grants and looks set to beat that figure this year. In the past 12 months alone, it has already received a £300,000 grant from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, one of the UK’s largest grant-giving charities, £275,000 from Three Guineas Trust, one of the Sainsbury family’s charitable trusts, and £550,000 from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, which has received more than £1m in government funding. The group’s gross income has soared from just over £842,000 in 2019-20 to over £1.4m last year, including more than £158,000 in government contracts.  Despite its apparent success (or, perhaps, because of it), Gendered Intelligence has been mired in controversy. Critics, including former clinicians from the Tavistock Gender Identity Development Services (GIDS), have accused it of promoting an “affirmation-only” approach to gender identity – particularly in children and young people – which would effectively steer people towards adopting a trans identity rather than help them question whether such a decision is in their best interests... In 2015, Stonewall’s first trans schools guidance which advised that not accepting someone’s “gender identity” was transphobic bullying, included Gendered Intelligence’s logo... In the same year, the Government Equalities Office published guidance, also bearing Gendered Intelligence’s logo, stating that trans people should be allowed to use the changing rooms of their choosing. Critics argued that it led to 10 years of unlawful practice until the Supreme Court judgment in April... Gendered Intelligence also helped write hate crime guidance for schools which gave the impression that if girls objected to biological boys accessing their toilets, they risked breaking the law or could be accused of a “hate incident” if they used the “wrong pronoun”. The guidance was withdrawn after a legal challenge by a 14-year-old girl... “Gendered Intelligence have kept a low profile compared to Stonewall or Mermaids, but the damage they have done across sectors has probably been even greater than the more well-known activist groups,” says Stephanie Davies-Arai of Transgender Trend.  “Their advice has shaped policy in schools, the NHS, the prison service and the FA among others. Despite ignoring the evidence of the Cass Review and continuing to advocate for puberty blockers, they currently run the patient helplines for NHS adult gender clinics in Exeter and East of England. Not bad for an organisation founded by a couple of Theatre and Performing Arts graduates”."
The same people who demand that churches (but never other religions) be taxed don't care about rich left wing non-profits; imagine if a church got government money to fund its activities

Meme - J.K. Rowling: "I'm sure you can back up that assertion with a quote of mine, because otherwise it might look like you're exactly the kind of person I'm describing: fixed beliefs, zero evidence, inventing grievances to justify a desire to silence people who say things you don't like."

Update in case of Oregon teens who protested trans athlete at track and field podium - "Alexa Anderson and Reese Eckard, high school track stars from Oregon, refused to take to the podium with their medals in protest of a transgender competitor at the state's track and field championships.  The pair, with Anderson coming in third and Eckard in fourth, stepped down from the high jump podium and turned their back to it as the winners were announced, which included trans student Lia Rose who tied for fifth place.  The athletes later launched a lawsuit against the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA), accusing the league of excluding them from official photographs and allegedly withholding their medals. Now, there's been a landmark update in their case as US District Court Judge Youlee Yim You refused OSAA's motion to strike parts of the teens' lawsuit concerning political speech. The plaintiffs pointed out Black Lives Matter and pro-LGBTQ pride messages or other forms of protest are permitted by the league, forming a major part of their argument."
You're only allowed to engage in political speech if it supports the left wing agenda, because that is not political but rather being a decent human being

Wiltshire police accused of ‘LGBT bias’ - "Free speech campaigners have launched legal action against a police force over its support for the Pride movement.  Sarah Phillimore, a barrister and co-founder of the Fair Cop organisation, claims Wiltshire Police’s participation in Pride events is a breach of its duty to remain impartial.  Wiltshire Police has been an enthusiastic supporter of Pride in recent years with officers participating in this summer’s event in Swindon, where members of the the LGBTQ+ staff support network ran a stall. In 2021 the force sponsored a zone at the event.  But a judicial review lodged against the Chief Constable of Wiltshire Police argues that by supporting Pride the force cannot claim to be neutral when called upon to deal with disputes about contentious transgender rights issues. The decision to launch legal action follows findings in a similar High Court case brought against Northumbria Police.  Ruling in that case Mr Justice Linden said that it was important that police forces were not perceived as taking sides in contentious social debates... FairCop was taking similar action against the Independent Office for Police Conduct over its participation in Pride events."

Women unlikely to encounter trans people in bathrooms, Boy George claims - "Women are unlikely to encounter transgender people in bathrooms, Boy George has suggested.   The Culture Club singer has claimed that transphobia is an “imagined fear” that only circulates online, arguing the issue is “unlikely” to affect people in the “actual world”."
Women are unlikely to be murdered by incels or even men, but that doesn't stop feminists from getting very excited about that

pIs help (TW: transphobia)
I am currently in my car shaking as I'm typing this. I can barely breathe. Okay so this literally just happened (about 15 minutes ago) whilst I was in the break room with two of my coworkers. I was enjoying my lunch, until out of absolutely nowhere, I hear something which made my stomach churn ... " ... yeah, we're doing a whole marathon this week with the kids, starting with The Sorcerer's Stone" I froze. My heart sank, and I felt an incredible sense of dread I have never felt before. It's been a long time since I've heard ANYTHING regarding her ... it felt like a knife to the gut. I mumbled something about needing the bathroom and bolted out. I locked myself in a stall and collapsed. I spent the next 10 minutes trembling and sobbing. In my car now, can't drive. I'm 2 years on E. Finally passing 90% of the time and thought I'd built up some armor ... but nope. One mention of her and I'm back to day-one dysphoria terror. She has kids, I thought. Those poor babies are being indoctrinated with TERF-adjacent media before they even hit double digits. cis people will say it's "just a movie" but it's NOT. It's a gateway drug to transphobia ... even HP references are now inseparable from JK Rowling's genocidal rhetoric. I feel insane for reacting this hard but also 100% justified. Someone please tell me I'm not overreacting ... do I confront her? Do I quit? Do I just never eat lunch again ???
TLDR: my TERF coworker supports genocide."

Austria’s Left Pushes for Jail Time For Those Opposing Trans Surgeries For Minors - "Austria has been shaken by a legislative proposal that, if confirmed, would represent a true authoritarian shift: parents who refuse to allow their underage children to undergo genital modification surgeries (commonly known as “sex-change” procedures) could end up in prison. The measure has sparked a wave of outrage, with many seeing it as a direct attack on parental rights and plain common sense.  According to a report by ServusTV, a draft bill promoted by the SPÖ (Social Democrats) and Neos (Liberals) parties would impose penalties of up to €30,000 or one year in jail on anyone who questions a minor’s “gender transition”—including parents, doctors, or psychologists. In other words, simply advising caution regarding an irreversible decision could lead to criminal liability...   The proposal aims to prohibit even psychological treatment of gender dysphoria as a mental health condition. This would amount to a de facto ban on mental health professionals who do not align with the dominant gender ideology. Doctors who try to help young people reflect before making life-altering surgical decisions could be treated as criminals. Proponents, as in other Western countries, argue such approaches amount to “conversion therapy” and therefore qualify as “transphobia.”  The numbers are alarming: in 2011, only four minors in Austria underwent mastectomies for “gender reassignment;” by 2023, that number had surged to 128, many of whom now deeply regret their decision. Far from being a marginal phenomenon, this is a growing trend that some on the left seek to legally ‘protect’  through gag laws.   Psychiatrist Bettina Reiter gave a stark warning: “Logic is being turned on its head. What used to be part of a parent’s duty of care—to protect their children—may now become a crime.” If this legislation passes, Austria will criminalize parents who refuse to hand their children over to the trans industry, an aberration that befits authoritarian dystopias more than a liberal democracy."

Caitlyn Jenner says a restroom using her pre- & post-transition pics is "funny as hell" - "Millionaire lesbian transgender conservative Caitlyn Jenner has finally weighed in on a controversy involving a Texas restaurant that used photos of her, pre- and post-transition, as signs for its male and female restrooms, respectively.  Dodie’s Place Cajun Bar & Grill in Allen, Texas plastered the images of Jenner on its restroom doors around 2017. Its men’s restroom shows a pre-transition image of Jenner from her days as an Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete. Its women’s restroom shows the iconic 2015 post-transition cover photo of Jenner from the fashion magazine Vanity Fair. Images of the restroom doors went viral in 2017, as web commenters argued whether the use of the images was funny, disrespectful, light-hearted, or transphobic. Now, six years later, Jenner herself has finally offered her own opinion... Jenner responded, “Funny as hell.”"

Camus on X - "Dr. Peter Attia tells a story about woke ideology in a medical school Urology lecture  In a medical school urology lecture, a leading surgeon was asked by the dean to avoid using the word "penis."  The reason? Unspecified sensitivity.  The urologist, rightfully baffled, pointed out she was teaching anatomy. The dean's suggested alternative? "Male erectile tissue."  Her brilliant response: "But what if it's flaccid? And wouldn't the term 'male' also be triggering?"  The story, shared by Dr. Peter Attia, exposes an alarming absurdity creeping into medical education. When a dean of a medical school polishes the language of human anatomy, what does that mean for the future of science and medicine?  A chilling precedent, dressed as progress."
The "myth" of the slippery slope strikes again. Activists want to control people, which is one reason why they keep changing terminology

MrMenno 🇳🇱🏳️‍🌈🎶 on X - "There is a key fact that Ben, and so many other “transphoooooooobia!!!” cry babies don’t seem to grasp about the ‘trans’ movement which makes it fundamentally different from any other movement we’ve ever seen: they are identifying into demographics of people that ***already exist within their own right*** and that they are the very opposite of  Eg: men claiming to be women and wanting legal recognition / rights / protections specifically afforded to women   Eg: straight men claiming to be lesbians and wanting legal protections on the basis of homosexuality   We’ve seen time and time again how this leads to the most absurd injustices - male rap*sts in women’s prisons, female victims being told to refer to these men as ‘she’, men in women’s sports stealing titles and causing injuries, men in women’s changing rooms, men in lesbian spaces, women telling gay men to eat 🐈‍⬛ and ‘trans’ organisation encouraging se x by deception in gay men’s intimate spaces,.. I could go on  If anyone is pitting groups against each other it’s ‘trans’ people by trying to redefine existing groups and their rights, and then going nuts when these groups say “No!”  It’s late 2025 and at this point there really aren’t any excuses to be this ignorant about it, Ben"

wokeandwoofing on X - "This is 'Transgender Awareness Week', which leads up to 'Trans Day of Remembrance', Not to be confused with 'Trans Day of Visibility', which is in March, but should also not be confused with the 'Trans March of Visibility', which is  part of 'Trans Pride' which is in June, if you are in the USA, or July if you are England, except if you are from Manchester, in which case there is a separate event in August. None of these should not be confused with Non-Binary People’s Day (July 14th) or 'International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia & Biphobia' which is in May, or 'Trans Pride Walk', which is in August. All of which are separate from 'LGBT History Month' in October or February, depending where you live. All this is part of 2025 (Year of the Trans) which falls during 'Decade of the Trans', part of the wider 'Trans Millennium'.   So please do spend this week raising Trans Awareness, because Trans folx get almost no publicity.🙏"
