Links - 2nd November 2025 (1 - Hamas Attack Oct 2023)

Liza Rosen on X - "This is the UK, not Pakistan! Arab Muslim migrants threaten to carry out an intifada, AKA coordinated waves of Islamic terror attacks against Jews and Christians. British police officers just smile and nod to avoid being accused of "Islamophobia"."

Starmer must launch Kosovo-style intervention against Israel, demands union chief - "The boss of Britain’s biggest union has demanded that Sir Keir Starmer launch a Kosovo-style intervention against Israel.  Christina McAnea, the general secretary of the Labour-affiliated Unison union, claimed that countries should “force the borders open” to get aid into Gaza."
Bombing and invading foreign countries is only wrong when it hurts the left wing agenda

Rwandan groups denounce genocide claims by NDP leadership hopeful - "Blog posts by a federal NDP leadership hopeful garnered scorn from Rwandan-Canadian groups, accusing him of denying a genocide that claimed nearly one million lives. In a Sept. 22, 2017, article posted to a blog run by Yves Engler , he dismissed generally accepted narratives surrounding the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda in 1994 as oversimplified and claimed the death toll of between 800,000 to one million people is overinflated... Engler is a contentious figure in Canada’s far-left, anti-Israel ecosphere and a prominent voice in pushing the narrative that Israel’s self-defence against Palestinian terrorism amounts to a “genocide.”... Engler condemned what he described as a “smear from the pro-genocide lobby” and took specific aim at B’nai Brith — and not the four Rwandan groups who also signed the statement. “Yves Engler has spent his entire adult life fighting for human rights and against militarism,” Engler wrote. “Quotes taken out of context and twisted to fit a narrative do not change this fact. Perhaps B’nai Brith should focus its efforts on the current and ongoing genocide in Gaza, rather than smearing those who are trying to stop it.”"
The left are very selective when it comes to what "genocides" they are interested in

Amit Segal on X - "The IDF has published handwritten notes by Yahya Sinwar in which he gives guiding principles for the planned raid into Israel. From a document dated 2022:  "The preparatory stage for the raid: it is essential that the forces carry out intensive movements weeks before any action by the Red Side that the enemy regards as routine; this will serve as a cover story for the large movement."  "Care must be taken to release images that will cause an outbreak of intoxication, frenzy and eruption among our people, especially in the West Bank, 'inside', in Jerusalem and throughout our nation. This is to stimulate compliance with calls that will urge them to rise up. At the same time, they should cause an outburst of terror and fear among the enemy. Unit commanders must be instructed that they should deliberately produce these things, film them and broadcast the images as quickly as possible: trampling on soldiers' heads, point-blank shootings, stabbing several with a knife, blowing up tanks, soldiers kneeling with their hands on their heads, and so on."  "Events that will yield terrifying images must be planned in advance — several car bombs burning and exploding at an outpost or in a building and creating horrific destruction, heart-rending scenes, terrible fire. Five or ten such images will sow mortal fear in them. 'Allah struck them from where they did not expect and cast terror into their hearts.' Preparations should be made for two or three operations whose objective is to burn down an entire neighborhood or kibbutz, etc. — they should pour fuel or diesel from a special tanker, set the place on fire and broadcast the images."  "Each brigade commander must have a ready plan for mobilizing forces, their deployment, the manner of communicating with them and their employment according to central orders from the head of the apparatus."  "The objectives of the Northern Brigade should look primarily toward the coastline. The objectives of the Gaza Brigade should be in a north-east direction up to a certain angle. The objectives of the Central Camps should be in a north-east direction slanting toward the east. The objectives of the Khan Younis Brigade should be toward the east. The objectives of the Rafah Brigade should be toward the south-east."  "If we are not ready to exploit the opportunity to its fullest, then the enemy will succeed in seizing control of the chaos and moving to a counterattack or will receive outside assistance, and then the situation will turn against us in the worst possible way. Therefore it is essential to be prepared for a flow of forces, development of the attack, its expansion and reinforcement to the maximum during the first six to ten hours in order to establish solid facts on the ground that will thwart any possibility of a counterattack.""
i/o on X - "Hamas chief: "Care must be taken to release images that will cause an outburst of terror and fear among the enemy... and broadcast the images as quickly as possible: trampling on soldiers' heads, point-blank shootings, stabbing several with a knife...""

Geoff Russ: The anti-Israel mob despises the West, and now they've tasted power - "the PA operations of Kelowna and Victoria airports were hijacked , and pro-Hamas and anti-Trump messages were broadcast through the facilities. Similar incidents occurred Windsor International Airport and even at Harrisburg International Airport in Pennsylvania... It was symbolic of the state of Western society, when supporters of violent terrorists are more comfortable than ever grabbing the microphone. A ceasefire has been officially signed between Israel and Hamas, and the remaining living hostages taken on October 7 have returned home . A Middle Eastern war has been transformed into a domestic struggle across the West. Toronto, London, Berlin, and Los Angeles are now hotbeds of not just anti-Israel activism, but a wider cultural insurgency against civilization itself. For hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people, Israel is a mere stand-in for an ideology that casts the entire West as an inherently evil “ colonial project .” The objective of this movement is to delegitimize, disrupt, and demoralize the populations of countries like Canada, Australia, Great Britain, and others. When they say “Death to Canada! … This is a revolution! We must destroy this settler colony,” chants heard at rallies in Vancouver co-led by the now-proscribed group Samidoun, take their words at face value. The celebration on the left following the massacre of about 1200 people in southern Israel on October 7, 2023, was just a taste of what was to come. Last weekend in Australia, independent Senator Lidia Thorpe proclaimed to a crowd of anti-Israel activists that she was willing to “ burn down Parliament House ” to help secure a Palestinian victory. Australia’s Federal Police are now investigating Thorpe, who has since tried to write off her incendiary remark as a figure of speech. However, when a sitting parliamentarian muses about incinerating a legislature, the Overton window of rhetoric is pushed further to the extremes. Thorpe has previously argued that “We have fought over 200 years against colonization. The constitution is an illegal document.” That view, coupled with her weekend remark, makes her stance plain enough... Anti-Israel and anti-Canadian students have occupied campuses and shouted down or intimidated dissenting faculty members. Law enforcement authorities have attempted de-escalation that too often rewarded illegal blockades and public disruptions by treating them as a sort of right instead of lawbreaking. It did not take long for this misplaced tolerance to become permission for the loudest activists to behave like they were in charge of the streets. These ongoing demonstrations are a case study in how liberal norms get abused by those who despise the country that protects them. An even more grim breakdown of the growing savagery was the assassination of the American conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University in September. The local police say the 22-year-old suspect, Tyler Robinson, acted alone, with investigators pointing to messages suggesting he planned the shooting and viewed Kirk as a “fascist”. Kirk was very right-wing, but no fascist, but slapping the label on anybody is an invitation to violence. Reactions from the political left across the English-speaking world revealed much about just how callous and coarsened it has become... Both the October 7 atrocities and the murder of Kirk were clarifying for ordinary, normal people. They showed just how many among us will explain away political violence and terrorism so long as it takes the lives of the “right” people. That extends to, though is not limited to, Jews, “settlers”, accused “fascists,” and those who oppose the barbarization of their societies. A ceasefire between Israel and Hamas will not tame this movement. The decolonial mind can only frame institutions as colonial structures ripe for capture. The very idea of a Canadian, Australian, or Israeli citizen is to them a false, illegitimate construct that is oppressive by design and inherently violent towards an imagined victim. This struggle will only migrate to another symbol if the truce in Gaza holds. First the statues of historical leaders in Canada came down , churches were burned without reprisal, and the national holiday of Australia was attacked. Then came the vandalism of synagogues, the occupations of campus quads, and now the probing of vital infrastructure like airport systems. . Conquering public space is their goal, and they are advancing. Even those pro-Palestinian marchers who earnestly desire peace have failed, or refused, to police their radical peers. A movement that waves the banner of ISIS, as seen in Sydney at a pro-Gaza march, or that burns the Canadian flag in Vancouver, is one that will never integrate or be an ally. The insurgency of it all is the point, which is why they lionize the militant Hamas organization."
Damn right wing violence! Time to jail the "far right" to keep Jews and everyone else safe

Jesse Kline: Extreme Israel hater Cornel West coming to Canada to talk 'Islamophobia' - "the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) is inviting the public to join it for “an evening with Dr. Cornel West to learn, be inspired and support the fight against Islamophobia and racism in Canada.” Yet despite spending his career fighting for civil liberties in the United States, West has become a prominent peddler of anti-Israel hate. West — a high-profile academic, media commentator and failed presidential candidate — is a self-described “non-Marxist socialist” who believes the U.S. is a “racist patriarchal” state that’s infused with white supremacy. Like many on the left, he has transposed his worldview — which boils every issue down to a struggle between oppressors and oppressed — onto the Israeli-Palestinian conflict... West tweeted photos of himself attending an anti-Israel rally in New York with “my dear brother Norman Finkelstein,” a man who wrote a book accusing Israel of using the Holocaust as an “ideological weapon” to provide it with “immunity to criticism,” and compared Hamas’s slaughter of 1,200 Israelis, mostly civilians, to the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. West’s vice-presidential running mate in the 2024 election on an independent ticket, Melina Abdullah, was involved with Black Lives Matter and defended that group’s characterization of October 7 as “a desperate act of self-defence.” West is also a staunch supporter of Zohran Mamdani, the far-left, vehemently anti-Israel candidate in New York’s mayoral race. Over the past two years, West has attended numerous anti-Israel rallies and supported the student-led encampments at universities throughout the U.S. and abroad . At a 2024 Al-Quds Day rally at Harvard, he falsely accused Israel of “genocide,” “apartheid” and “ethnic cleansing.” Ironically, despite Harvard’s long history of antisemitism, this was the school West resigned from three years earlier, citing the administration’s “hostility to the Palestinian cause” and “anti-Palestinian prejudices.” West, of course, has a right to his opinions, as abhorrent as some of them may be. The NCCM also has every right to invite him to speak at one of its events. But it does call the motives of the NCCM into question, along with the over $1.1 million it has received in federal grants since 2018, largely to fund student summer job programs. The NCCM is not a neutral charity; it’s a lobbying group dedicated to supporting “Palestinian state recognition, justice for kids facing unfair consequences for supporting Palestine, sanctions on the Netanyahu government, a two-way arms embargo on the IDF” and other anti-Israel causes."

71% of French, 87% of UK public against Palestinian state recognition without Hamas conditions - "Over two-thirds of French citizens and almost 90% of the British public don’t support their governments’ expected moves this week to recognize a Palestinian state without preconditions, such as Hamas’s release of hostages and surrender, being met, according to two separate polls by the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France (CRIF) and JL Partners."
It's only oligarchy when it threatens the left wing agenda

Jewish tourist couple attacked by a dozen men in Venice - "The incident occurred on Monday night when around ten men reportedly confronted the couple while shouting “Free Palestine”.  The man, an American citizen, was allegedly slapped, while his Israeli female partner sustained an ankle injury from a glass bottle. The attackers also set a dog on the couple."
Damn Zionists trying to censor pro-Palestinian speech again!
It was a Rottweiler too

Hamas exploits Gaza hospitals for terror, NGO Monitor finds - "Hamas has exploited hospitals and medical facilities in the Gaza Strip for military purposes for years, according to a new report published by NGO Monitor on Wednesday. The findings are based on internal Hamas ministry documents from early 2020 that describe health institutions not as neutral civilian spaces but as assets to be used for security and military activity. The report, In Their Own Words: Hamas Turns Hospitals into Military Assets with NGO Compliance, cites internal correspondence showing that hospitals were systematically used to shield operatives, protect sensitive information, and monitor foreign presence. One document, titled Report on the foreign activity inside health facilities, was sent by a Hamas officer to a senior commander. A second document, Security observation over the security threats of foreign presence inside health institutions, was sent to a deputy director-general of Hamas intelligence in March 2020.  Both documents note that the Health Ministry in Gaza, which oversees hospitals, health associations, and charitable medical centers, was one of the largest government bodies. The documents described the health system as holding “plenty of important information that can be utilized in security matters” and called the Health Ministry a “treasure chest for intelligence, especially at times of war.” They warned that extensive involvement by foreign charities and aid groups created vulnerabilities, and concluded that Hamas must maintain surveillance of international actors inside health facilities to prevent leaks and protect operatives. NGO Monitor said the documents prove Hamas leadership viewed hospitals not as protected civilian infrastructure but as part of its military network. “Hamas explicitly states that health facilities in Gaza are not neutral spaces, but instead play a critical role in Hamas’s terror network,” the report said. The group added that the documents show Hamas’s awareness that hospitals treated wounded fighters and contained sensitive information, requiring protection from foreign intelligence services. These findings intersect with ongoing debates over humanitarian oversight in Gaza, including an Israeli defense review challenging starvation statistics issued by Gaza authorities. “The evidence of complicity is blatant,” said Gerald Steinberg, President of NGO Monitor. “This document exposes the hypocrisy of supposedly humanitarian international organizations like the Red Cross, Doctors without Borders and the Norwegian Aid Committee (NORWAC). While repeatedly echoing Hamas allegations and condemning Israel’s operations to end the exploitation of hospitals for terror, these groups clearly knew that Hamas exploited these facilities, and chose to remain silent. To make hospitals in Gaza safe for everyone, the NGO and UN code of silence must be broken.”... The findings are consistent with previous revelations about the use of medical sites during the conflict. In December 2023, The Jerusalem Post reported that the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Ahmad Kahlot, admitted during questioning that he had joined Hamas in 2010 and held a senior position within the group. Several months later, in October 2024, an ambulance driver from the same hospital confirmed that operatives had used the facility for military purposes. In January 2024, the IDF uncovered a 250-meter-long tunnel system beneath Shifa Hospital, which military officials described as a Hamas command site, drawing international attention to the strategic use of Gaza’s largest medical center. Most recently, in June 2025, the IDF said a command center had been built beneath the European Hospital in Khan Yunis and released drone footage showing tunnels below the facility. Taken together, these incidents and the 2020 documents point to a consistent strategy of using hospitals to protect operatives and infrastructure... Together, these incidents and the 2020 documents show a consistent strategy of using hospitals to protect operatives and infrastructure. NGO Monitor said the records provide rare confirmation of the practice in Hamas’s own words."

CTV Ottawa on X - "Elderly woman injured in stabbing at College Square in Ottawa’s west end"
Kevin Vuong 🇨🇦🎗️ on X - "This headline is missing key info:
— the victim was a known member of Ottawa’s Jewish community
— she wasn’t stabbed just anywhere but in the city’s largest Kosher section
Plus, she was wearing her Star of David. They arrested the assailant, who is he? Where’s the news release?"

New York Post on X - "Jewish students walk out of MIT commencement after speaker accuses university of aiding Israel’s ‘genocide’"
Eyal Yakoby on X - "I’ve heard from countless Jewish and non-Jewish students and parents at MIT who are outraged the university allowed this. Families traveled thousands of miles to celebrate graduation—not to be subjected to 10 minutes of Islamist propaganda from a Jihadist speaker."

Eyal Yakoby on X - "BREAKING: The final stage of La Vuelta, one of the world’s top cycling races, was CUT SHORT after violent anti-Israel mobs stormed the finish line—attacking cyclists over the presence of an Israeli team. This is a global terrorist movement."

Variety on X - "Javier Bardem says "I will not work" with any film or TV company "who justifies or supports the genocide" in Gaza: "It's as simple as that. We should not be able to that, in this industry or any industry." #Emmys"
SCHOOL BOND LIBRARY on X - "I think Javier Bardem's obsession with the Jewish state might be caused by the fact that he's from a country with a yearly celebration called "Killing the Jews" and that, until about 10 years ago, had a town called "Jew-Killer Camp.""

Hen Mazzig on X - "What drives me crazy is these privileged detached celebs think they’re being “brave and stunning” — but parroting the most populist slogan in Hollywood, throwing on a pin, or cosplaying a Jordanian scarf is the safest thing you can do. That’s why they all do it."

Marc Tetrault on X - "Saw you as I was entering a shop on St Viateur. I was being civil. Just stating my political views. You are a public figure with considerable influence. You use that influence to advocate for Israel’s genocide. I don’t debate genocide deniers, whether it be Nazi or Israeli."
Gad Saad on X - "If you went to Israel today, and people knew of your views, nothing would happen to you.  If you went to Gaza, and people knew that you were Jewish, you'd be torn to pieces.  And yet, being the suicidally empathetic wood cricket that you are, you decide to harass me as I walk with my daughter and wife (because I support the right of Israel to exist peacefully).    You epitomize all of the suicidal reflexes endemic in the West.  If you are truly Jewish and you truly had ancestors in the Holocaust, you have immeasurably shamed their memory.    You are an imbecile who grew up in the safety of the West.  I grew up in the Middle East and had to run fast so that my life would not be ended."

Carson Jerema: Has Sean Fraser even read the Criminal Code? - "Given that more hate-speech legislation is unlikely to solve the problem of growing antisemitism, and other forms of discrimination, and may cause other problems, what can be done? For starters, the federal government can send a clear signal to police that they will be supported if they enforce existing laws. Politicians cannot direct police to arrest specific people, but they can state clearly that they expect mischief and intimidation laws to be consistently enforced. The challenge here is that the Liberal party has a history of encouraging, or discouraging, the policing of illegal protests based on the politics of the protesters. Another action that could be taken would be for the government to be more judicious in funding universities. Professors who study questions like how capitalism is behind the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and other such nonsense, and the far-left antisemitic atmosphere this creates, have no business being funded by any level of government. Finally, immigration policy should be amended to deny entry to any newcomer with terrorist sympathies, no matter how small. The actual solutions require work, commitment and the expenditure of tremendous amounts of political capital. No wonder the Liberals just want to keep criminalizing things that are already illegal."

Defence urges court to acquit trio accused of organising pro-Palestinian procession to Istana - "Defence lawyers for three women accused of organising a procession to the Istana to publicise a cause of solidarity with Palestine on Tuesday (Sep 16) urged the court to acquit them of their charges.  Mr Derek Wong and Mr Uthayasurian Sidambaram from Phoenix Law argued that the purpose of the event that day was for participants to deliver letters to the rear gate of the Istana.  It was not a public procession but conducted in this way so that participants would not get lost on the way, argued Mr Wong... The three Singaporean women on trial are: Mossammad Sobikun Nahar, 26, Siti Amirah Mohamed Asrori, 30, and Annamalai Kokila Parvathi, 37... Mr Hay said the participants lined up two by two holding umbrellas marked with watermelons, which he said was a significant and widespread symbol of solidarity with Palestine.  Arguing that the trio "tried to downplay how widespread the symbol is known", Mr Hay said: "We think it's rather arrogant for them to decide whether the public knows or do not know what the symbol means."  However, he said this was not the relevant point - the point was that the trio knew it, and that by opening the umbrellas, there was a "visual impact" and a "major publication of the cause".  At this, Annamalai laughed in the dock. The trio were speaking quietly among themselves, nodding and smiling at various points during legal arguments."

Meme - Max 📟 @MaxNordau: "Terrorist deleted her account.  Not for this post. For another post in which she said that Kfir and Ariel Bibas were soldiers who deserved to be kidnapped."
Dr Rahmeh Alacdwan @doctor_rahmeh: "Theres 454 synagogues in the UK and 136 jewish schools. None of them explicitly identify as anti-Zionist. That's a serious problem."
Of course, if you expect madrasahs and mosques to explicitly identify as anti-Islamist, that's Islamophopbia

Nicole Lampert on X - "There‘s an NHS doctor who just a week ago escaped being suspended for her antisemitic tweets. Apparently her Nazi-like hatred was freedom of speech. All day she’s been retweeting people excusing the targeting of Jews going to synagogue. Is this free speech NHS style @wesstreeting ?"

NHS doctor who ‘glorified October 7 attack’ wears 7 necklace - "An NHS doctor accused of celebrating the October 7 attacks on Israel wore a necklace with the number seven at her medical tribunal.  Dr Rahmeh Aladwan, a junior medic training to be a trauma and orthopaedic surgeon, appeared in front of the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) accused of anti-Semitism and creating social media posts glorifying Hamas, the proscribed terror group.  The doctor, who vowed she “would never” condemn the October 7 attacks, arrived at the hearing in Manchester wearing a gold necklace with a number seven charm. The jewellery has been seen before on her social media, where she posted a picture of it with the caption “celebratory jewellery”. The image showed her wearing the necklace alongside a second chain showing a map of Palestine. Last month, she was cleared of the same allegations after the hearing ruled her comments on social media did not amount to “bullying or harassment”.  The MPTS concluded it would not impose interim restrictions on Dr Aladwan’s registration, saying it did not believe the complaints against her were “sufficient to establish that there may be a real risk to patients”. Wes Streeting, the Health Secretary, said the hearing outcome led him to declare he had “no confidence in our regulation system”...   The tribunal comes just two days after Dr Aladwan was arrested on suspicion of stirring up racial hatred.  In a video of her arrest on Tuesday morning shared on social media, she told police: “You are doing this for the Israeli Jewish lobby.”  The video shows the doctor being told she is under arrest for three alleged offences relating to malicious communications and one for inciting racial hatred at a property in South Gloucestershire.  A police officer says: “On 7th October, you posted a variety of communications which demonstrated support for Hamas’ attack on Israel. An attack which involved murder, rape and kidnap of Israeli citizens, all of which may be considered grossly offensive in character.”  Dr Aladwan is also accused of giving a speech calling for the eradication of Israel at a pro-Palestine protest outside the Foreign Office on July 21... Other posts included referring to Israeli people as “worse than Nazis”, describing anti-Semitism and the Holocaust as a “concept” and describing October 7 as “the day ‘Israel’ was humiliated”.  Hamas fighters murdered more than 1,200 people and took a further 251 hostages during the atrocities.  Posting on social media before the hearing, Dr Aladwan said she was “being persecuted for speech”and that the tribunal was an attempt by “Jewish supremacy” to “destroy [her] career”."

Israel’s Gaza City offensive will expose the UN’s genocide smears - "This is the most videotaped conflict in history – at least, the civilian part of it is, as Hamas has placed a media blackout on footage of Jihadi casualties – yet the international press has published pictures of supposedly starving children that were the later exposed as false, their subjects having serious health conditions.  If people were starving en masse, don’t you think there’d be evidence of it on TikTok? Instead, the briefest of browses on platforms like Snapchat’s heatmaps will reveal what Gazans are posting in realtime. Spoiler: You’ll see a lot of food. And no dead babies.  The UN became not just a propagandist but a pugilist in this information war. Take, for instance, when it refused to cooperate with Israeli humanitarian efforts, leaving huge amounts of aid undelivered and spoiling in the sun while blaming Israel for the shortages.  To the informed observer, this was both deeply depressing and not entirely surprising. The UN has been infested with Israelophobia ever since the Cold War, when Soviet propagandists took the side of the Arabs against what they saw as an American proxy and used their influence at the UN to spread the disinformation. As the number of new, anti-Western states multiplied with the withdrawal of British rule overseas, the balance of power began to tip in favour of the anti-democratic alliance, and Israel stood in for the West as the first target of choice. These days, however, the West is joining the war against itself.  The UN’s report alleging Israeli “genocide” in Gaza is a propaganda operation so sophisticated that the very worst regimes of the 20th century would surely have tipped their hats in admiration... The most frustrating part of all this is that in this post-war age of faith in supranational institutions, the UN continues to enjoy a fine reputation"
