Meme - J.K. Rowling @jk_rowling: "Being a woman isn't an essence, it's a material, provable fact. I'm not a female human being because society or history made me one, or because I picked the 'woman' category on some metaphysical spreadsheet. I'm a woman because I was born with the equipment to produce large gametes. My biology isn't my destiny unless I'm unfortunate enough to live in a society like Afghanistan where my femaleness is punished from birth. My biology does, however, mean I am likely to have experiences no man ever will. If I'd been raised by robots in outer space who had no understanding of social categories or gendered norms I'd still provably be a woman, not a man. I'd certainly suffer some deprivation from not associating with other humans, but on the upside, I'd never have to listen to pseudo-intellectual drivel like this."
X @MindVsMyth: "Womanhood is not a fixed essence. It is shaped by history, labor, family roles, and power relations. In different societies and periods, the meaning of being a woman has changed. These changes reflect material conditions, not biological destiny. Like all social categories, womanhood is produced and reproduced through lived relations, not static traits. It evolves with the structure of society."
This is a good illustration of how feminism paved the way for trans mania
J K Rowling new fund, to waste Scottish tax payers money. : r/Scotland - "So J.K. Rowling has set up the “J.K. Rowling Women’s Fund” (JKRWF). She’s not accepting donations, because she’s bankrolling it herself. On the surface, it claims to protect “sex-based rights,” but when you dig in, it’s very clearly about one thing: funding legal action to exclude trans women from public life especially places like schools, the NHS, and prisons. And guess who pays for all the fallout from that? Us, The Scottish taxpayer. The real cost of her court cases will be the Scottish tax payier. Her fund supports lawsuits and tribunal cases against public services places run with your tax money. Schools, hospitals, councils, women’s shelters, the police. Every time one of her cases goes to court, these institutions have to spend your money to defend themselves. If they lose, they pay damages and legal fees. If they win, they still burn through cash and time that should be going to actual services. She spends a few grand? We end up footing a bill in the hundreds of thousands. These lawsuits aren’t about protecting anyone. They’re about forcing public services to change policies that include trans people. That means expensive overhauls of staff training, signage, protocols more money wasted to appease a personal vendetta. And all while the NHS is on its knees, schools are underfunded, and councils are going bankrupt. But instead, she chose to create a legal fund targeting one of the most marginalised groups in society. Trans people especially trans women ,are already at greater risk of homelessness, violence, and suicide. This fund makes all of that worse. Nobody voted for this. It’s not protecting women, it’s fuelling a media-frenzied culture war that’s actively harming people. And it's being done with the resources of the public sector tied up in expensive court cases. J.K. Rowling is not being silenced. She’s using her wealth to bully trans people through the legal system, and the Scottish public is paying the price."
Human rights lawsuits are only good when they push the left wing agenda. Of course, we can't expect organisations to actually follow the law. And of course, if you don't want transwomen to put themselves in female-only spaces, that means you're excluding them from public life

Loudoun schools suspend boys uncomfortable with biological female student in locker room - "7News Reporter Nick Minock was the first to report that LCPS launched a Title IX investigation into the students after they were recorded on video asking why there was a girl in the boys locker room. 7News was also the first to report that the female student who identifies as male was the one who recorded the video in the locker room -- a violation of district policy. LCPS’s Title IX Office launched an investigation based on that video and the male-identifying student’s complaint. That office has now determined the two boys are responsible for sexual harassment and sex-based discrimination, according to attorney Josh Hetzler, who represents the families... LCPS’s decision to suspend the students comes on the heels of the Loudoun County School Board’s decision not to comply with the U.S. Department of Education’s demands that LCPS and other Northern Virginia districts reverse bathroom and locker room policies which allow students to use the facilities which match their chosen gender identity, not biological sex. In July, the U.S. Department of Education determined LCPS, Fairfax County Public Schools, Prince William County Public Schools, Alexandria City Public Schools, and Arlington Public Schools’ bathroom and locker room policies violate Title IX. However, on Friday, all five school systems announced they would not change those policies."
Not the first trans incident in Loudoun, of course

German controversy surrounds jail term for transgender far-right extremist - "A controversy has broken out in Germany about whether a trans right-wing extremist should serve a prison sentence in a women's or a men's facility. In July 2023, Marla-Svenja Liebich was sentenced by the Halle District Court in Saxon-Anhalt to a total of one year and six months in prison without parole for extreme right incitement to hatred, defamation, and insult. Liebich appealed against her sentence and lost. At the time she was known as Sven Liebich. German media reports say Liebich used to be a member of a neo-Nazi group called Blood and Honour. At the end of 2024, Liebich had her gender entry in official records changed from male to female. She also changed her first name. The basis for this was Germany's Self-Determination Act, which had just come into force and strengthened the rights of transgender people. The Act allows people to change their gender marker and first name through a simple declaration at a registry office, instead of a judicial ruling. German media have questioned whether Liebich's change was serious... Liebich has taken legal action against media outlets for what she considers to be false representations of her gender identity... Reichelt, editor-in-chief of Nius, posted on X in July: "Anyone who follows the reporting on neo-Nazi Sven Liebich can only come to one conclusion: The traffic-light coalition government has managed, by law, to force almost the entire German media landscape to tell untruths and make grotesquely false claims. Sven Liebich is not a woman.""
Everyone's self-declared gender is valid and cannot be questioned, and men are not pretending to be trans to game the system. Except for Neo-Nazis
Trans laws need to change after neo-Nazi prisoner case, says German interior minister - "Alexander Dobrindt said the case of Marla-Svenja Liebich was “an example of the very simple misuse of the Self-Determination Act”... The Self-Determination Act was introduced by Germany’s Left-leaning “traffic-light” coalition to allow people to change their gender and name at a registry office without any medical or psychological examination within a few months. In principle, adults are allowed to change their legal gender once a year. Liebich’s request to officially alter his gender followed previous accusations that he has attempted to exploit Germany’s prison system. On Sunday, he said on social media that he had requested “not just Kosher food but regular pastoral care from a Rabbi” during his imprisonment... Karin Prien, the CDU family minister whose department oversees implementing the gender law, told Bild that it “contains weaknesses in its current form that can favour targeted abuse”. “It is right and important that gender self-determination is possible at a low threshold,” said Ms Prien. She added that, at the same time, people must “watch closely how the law proves itself in practice”."
Transphobic bigots. Don't they know gender can change every day?
Germany debates gender law as convicted neo-Nazi heads to women’s prison : r/AllOpinionsAccepted - "And institutions like prisons and sports teams have historically been separated on the basis of sex, not gender, but activists in the last decade like to play word games and pretend one has always meant the other."
We keep being told that sex and gender are different, and only ignorant people don't know that
Health official’s trans stillbirth remark fuels woke row - "A parliamentary committee examining the impact of stillbirth on mothers has prefaced its evidence by acknowledging that men who have transitioned or are transitioning to become women should also be part of the conversation around the loss of babies during labour and pregnancy. Despite the medical impossibility of former men ever becoming pregnant or enduring the hardship of miscarriage, one of South Australia’s most senior health bureaucrats opened her evidence to an SA parliamentary committee by reassuring that her use of the terms “women” and “woman” was not intended to be exclusionary in the context of stillbirth... SA Women’s and Children’s Health Network chief executive Rebecca Graham used her opening statement to the committee last week to reassure intersex and transgender women that they should also feature in discussion around stillbirth... The comments have puzzled and upset women’s groups campaigning for stillbirth awareness who believe the encroachment of transgender issues distracted from the focus of the committee... “It does make you wonder why they call it the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. They’re going to have to change the name. If you don’t have a womb, and aren’t going to give birth to a baby, they won’t admit you to the hospital... It is not the first time SA Health has been embroiled in controversy over trans issues. Two years ago, it was forced to withdraw a press release advising that a new winter flu vaccine was safe for use by “pregnant people”. At that time, Health Minister Chris Picton explained the press release was written at the departmental level without his office’s oversight or authorisation and that the term “pregnant women” was the only one he had ever used... Liberal senator Alex Antic went further saying Ms Graham’s comments to the committee reflected a broader national problem surrounding the definition of men and women. “The Labor government created confusion in 2013 when the Sex Discrimination Act was amended to remove the statutory definitions of “man” and “woman”,” Senator Antic told The Australian. “During the last sitting week of parliament I attempted to introduce an amendment to that act to restore those definitions but that attempt was shot down by Labor and the Australian Greens.” Senator Antic said the intrusion of trans issues into a space as unique for women as the discussion of stillbirth demonstrated his point. “A parliamentary committee which has been formed to examine the prevalence, causes and effects of stillbirths should not be distracted from its objectives in this manner,” he said. “Will Premier Peter Malinauskas amend the committee’s terms of reference to provide a definition of “woman” or will he allow it to freelance in radical gender theory?” The furore came as the Premier spoke in a podcast about public exhaustion with culture war battles over “woke” politics. “We want to populate the political mainstream. We just have to act in concert with where the mainstream is and make it perfectly clear where the opportunity presents itself,” Mr Malinauskas said on the Curtin’s Cast podcast released on Wednesday. “But that far left and far right, well, that is not us and actively denunciated. I actually have a bit of optimism that the tide is turning here. I actually think now, when people hear the whole woke thing, they turn off.”"
How ignorant. Don't they know that rights aren't like cake - more for one doesn't mean less for others?
Those who say transwomen have no place in this conversation are literally denying trans people exist, and that's trans genocide, not to mention being anti-science
Women renters welcome at novel new block - but men shown the door - "Britain's first women's-only tower block for renters has been given the green light by planners in west London. The scheme for 102 flats will be available to single female tenants at low social rents for those who face inequality, abuse and disadvantages in the housing market. Men will only be able to live in the block if they become a tenant's partner or if they are the adult child of a female tenant and inherit the tenancy. Transgender women, including people intending to undergo gender reassignment, will be allowed, but men who cross-dress, transgender men, and anyone with a known history of male violence against women or children will not. Design details at the 15-storey block in Ealing could include slightly lower kitchen work surfaces and careful attention to ventilation to ensure comfort for menopausal women, according to landlord Women's Pioneer Housing (WPH), which also plans to build another low-rise women's-only complex in Shepherd's Bush. The scheme is being developed in partnership with L&Q, one of London's largest housing associations... However, the plan sparked a flurry of comments on social media from those who feared vulnerable women would be at risk from biological men who identify as women, while others accused it of discriminating against men."
Gender-critical barrister avoids punishment after ‘meritless’ complaint - "A gender-critical lawyer has avoided punishment from the barristers’ watchdog for “misgendering” a trans person in court. Naomi Cunningham, an employment barrister, said she had been told by the Bar Standards Board (BSB) that she will face no further action over the “meritless” complaint that she repeatedly referred to a transgender female by a male pronoun during a hearing. Ms Cunningham, who campaigns for courts to refer to men and women based on their biological sex instead of their gender, had been accused of professional misconduct over the incident... “The tendency of activists to try to weaponise regulatory procedures is a very bad thing and too much of it has been happening,” she said."
Children in care allowed to transition without adult advice - "Policy Exchange claimed that children were at risk of being rushed into gender reassignment because local authorities across the country were in thrall to gender ideology. A study by the think tank found that almost two-thirds of local authorities have no safeguarding policies in place to protect children in their care who question their gender, and eight councils allowed children to transition without speaking to an adult. Children in care were eight times as likely as those growing up with their parents to be sent to the discredited Tavistock gender identity clinic, the report disclosed. The report was backed by Baroness Morris, the former Labour education secretary, who said councils were failing in their duties to support gender-questioning children... local authorities had been “parroting” the controversial gender affirmative policies of activist organisations, commissioning them to provide training or integrating their principles into policies... hildren under the age of 10 were being supported to socially transition in care, often without appropriate safeguarding processes in place. Only two council policies mentioned the Cass review, which said puberty blockers should no longer be given to children under the age of 18. One council’s policy argued that “every child has the right to an identity” and that the local authority’s role was “supporting and affirming them”, while another argued that “a child in our care can choose to socially transition when they wish to”."
Clearly, parents are transphobic bigots, which is why children in care feel more free to be who they really are
Pro-trans parents use EU loophole to dodge puberty blocker ban - "children are having online consultations with EU doctors and then flying to the Continent with their parents to get injections of the maximum six-month dose of the drugs, which were indefinitely banned across the UK by Wes Streeting. The method and logistics of circumventing the law are being promoted by Anne Health, a private trans clinic run by Susie Green, the former chief executive of Mermaids, the trans charity. The company is registered in London but is not regulated by a medical body, with medical staff based abroad... Ms Green has been accused of “exploiting” vulnerable children, with desperate parents spending thousands of pounds on accessing the drugs through Anne Health... “Children and their families are being exploited at their most vulnerable rather than getting the care they deserve.” Anne Health charges a £200 joining fee for a “youth membership” for under-18s plus a £150 monthly membership fee on a 12-month contract, at a total cost of £2,000 for one year, before any drugs or travel is paid for... Dr Alice Hodkinson, co-founder of Biology in Medicine, a doctors’ campaign group, said: “Parents believe they are doing the right thing, but they are being tragically misled. If you block the natural process of puberty, you miss a window of opportunity to enter adulthood. “Preventing puberty will limit brain development and will lower IQ. Children will lose their future sexual function and never know what they have lost.” Ms Green was dismissed as the chief executive of Mermaids in 2022 over a loss of trust in her leadership. The Charity Commission launched an inquiry into the charity days after the 57-year-old quit, following an investigation by The Telegraph that revealed teenagers as young as 13 were being given chest binders against their parents’ wishes, and that it was wrongly promoting puberty blockers as “safe” and “reversible”. A spokesman for the Department of Health said: “Advising parents how to circumvent health regulations put in place to protect children is irresponsible and dangerous. “Getting medicines from anywhere other than from legitimate sources significantly increases the likelihood of it being fake or dangerous, and there is no legal or safe way of administering or monitoring these drugs in the UK."
HMRC lets trans staff in women’s toilets ‘in defiance of Supreme Court ruling’
Trade unions vow to oppose Supreme Court trans ruling - "Trade unions have vowed to oppose the Supreme Court ruling on transgender issues and have called official guidance on single-sex spaces “flawed”. Delegates at the Trades Union Congress (TUC) voted unanimously in favour of a motion which said the April ruling went against the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR)."
Trans woman faces jail for lying about gender to sleep with man - "A trans woman who deceived a man in order to sleep with him is facing jail for sex offences. Ciara Watkin, of Stockton, Teesside, spent the night with the man at a house in Thornaby after they met on the social media platform Snapchat. The 21-year-old – a biological male who identifies as a woman – lied about being on their period so the man did not touch below the waist, then performed sex acts on him... A jury at Teesside Crown Court convicted Watkin of two counts of sexual assault and one of assault by penetration... They met again for a second time at his home and the victim’s mother suspected Watkin was trans, but did not say anything to her son, the court heard. His friends came to his house and also suspected Watkin was born male, jurors were told. Later, Watkin confessed to being born male to the man, with the complainant saying the revelation left him feeling sick. He told police he “didn’t swing that way”."
New woke madness as council tells staff not to call married couples husband & wife in case it causes offence - "They are told “spouse” or “partner” will avoid offending anyone not identifying with a gender... Staff running events are also warned against welcoming “ladies and gentlemen”. Asking for a “Christian name” is also off limits... Free Speech Union chief Toby Young fumed: “The problem with these inclusive language guides is they are designed to make anyone who doesn’t speak fluent woke-ish feel excluded.”"

Caro Betts on X - "Hi Richard, hope you don’t mind me QTing you, but your comment deserves a considered reply 1970’s/80’s homophobia was based on social disgust. Straight people found gay men & lesbians disgusting and had no problem saying so. It was a horrible time “Transphobia” is different. It’s a weaponised term with multiple meanings What do you mean by ‘trans’: Do you mean adult males who like wearing lingerie, or young adolescents who hate their bodies. This is not the same cohort. And only the former benefits from confusion with the latter Where does the phobia come in?: Is someone who hates gender non-conforming men the same as someone who doesn’t, but who believes women have the right to single sex spaces? Gay rights were won by demonstrating that gay rights caused no social harm. Heterosexual marriage isn’t diminished by gay marriage “Trans rights” functions like no other civil rights movement: *It demands, it threatens, and it causes social harm (if you don’t believe me, look at what they say themselves: males demanding access to rape crisis centres, to breastfeeding groups, to lesbian groups). This harms people: female people Everything is weaponised and appropriated: it’s “just like”: gay rights, apartheid, the Holocaust etc etc Mainly it is straight white men demanding. As they are used to doing. Meanwhile women, gay people, and especially children are considered collateral damage You’ll do as you do, but please rethink x"
