Tired of the anti-whiteness in the black community.
I’m biracial for context. Dads black. Moms mixed, white and Puerto Rican but she presents as a white woman. I also grew up in Baltimore which is damn near 90% black.
Listen… I’m just telling it how it is.
Online, you go to any predominantly black space or community and the anti whiteness is loud. Not only is it loud it’s accepted as okay. Black men are talked down to for being with a white woman. Black women are talked down to for being with a white man. I left out LGBTQ relationships because honestly I’m not sure if they experience this but it wouldn’t shock me. And I’m saying this from personal experience as my wife is white. And I am what society deems as the attractive man which seems to magnify these comments.
I was at a get together for a family members birthday (my black side) and one of my family members said, in front of my wife, that a different family member wouldn’t be okay going to a bar with white people.
Wtf… so I apologized to my wife and a day later texted them and told them how I felt about it. They apologized but it pisses me off.
These comments come from a place of hate and it’s pissing me off I can’t even be involved in certain black spaces online because I they mask white hate as some sort of black pride. Same thing white nationalists do. Blows my mind."
