"De Vechtsebanen is vooral bekend als de kunstijsbaan van Utrecht.

De kunstijsbaan bestaat uit een ijshockeystadion en een overdekte 400 meter kunstijsbaan.

Wat veel mensen echter niet weten is dat er op de Vechtsebanen ook een bowlingcentrum, een vergadercentrum en een examenhal gevestigd zijn.

Het bowlingcentrum heeft 12 volautomatische bowlingbanen en het vergadercentrum heeft 9 zalen variërend van 48m² tot 300 m².

In de examenhal kunnen examens worden afgenomen tot maximaal 1.500 kandidaten.

Het ijshockeystadion wordt regelmatig gebruikt voor evenementen tot 4.000 personen. "

Someone: I do remember my dad mentioning to me onnce, on stable the Philippines was under Ferdinand Marcos, having fast food restaurants before Macs opened shop here, cleaner streets than Singapore at the time, and good government. Saying he preferred it under Marcos must have been the most politically incorrect statement he has made in a long long time and i wanted to laugh my head off when he said that.

I wouldn't believe Filipinos would sell their souls just to have McDonalds and have clean, beautiful streets, and be ruled by a man who squanders his country's money and a wife who lavishes on shoes. Then again, maybe many Singaporeans wouldn't mind having that sort of dictatorial system in place so long as Big Macs are on the table ;)

Someone else: that's really true... i know a good number of students at the law faculty at NUS... or SLUGS as they are apprently called and a good friend basically surmised his class

(3) Those Smart ones who just weren't rich enough
