Problem solved!......right?! But the huge study UCLA planned was shelved due to explosive and unexpected pushback from the trans community. Now why would THAT be the case?π€ Can you imagine cancer-advocacy groups aggressively pushing back on a much more effective way to diagnose cancer? "I have a fair number tof NB friends and have chatted with some gender care professionals specifically around this. Hormones can be sort of mucked with, with micro dosing and raising and lowering to get what the kid is going for. It's not exact and there are some things that are "non-reversable" like once the voice drops is dropped. So depending on what's causing your kid distress working with a healthcare team to achieve specific goals might be a thing. Depending on what they want and what they might want more time for or to prevent there may or may not be options. Hormones are powerful drugs and each body reacts differently to them. Having your kid work with a team that supports them will be your best bet."

So started taekwondo again and now after transitioning. I’m pretty sure I got clocked a few times… so far everyone is respectful but I notice that cis men try to “show off” too much when I’m around. They also never pick me and it’s always ending up in me training with women again. They have to show off how their attempt is “better” than mine (spoiler they aren’t), how they “dominate” and how they hit harder. Today we were training and I got the hardest kick in my life on my ribs: note I have been training with both men and women and competed fairly well, I know what a hard kick is. This one was so hard that I basically let out a loud pain sound, the instructor had to intervene and I thought I had broken ribs (while wearing protective gear !!). I wanted to cry my life out, but kept going… if we hit 100% on a competition, this guy was kicking 500% like if he was going to murder someone. I started feeling really uncomfortable about it and while I am “stealth” but not yet operated, I feel a bit being clocked. They see I’m different but they can’t tell what kind of vibe, or they figured it out. I’m 6 months on T and while I usually pass, sometimes my voice is a little too high and I think my profile doesn’t pass at all. I just changed my haircut and that helped massively. But still… I don’t know how to deal with these childish behaviors men have, I see it sometimes with cis dudes too but they seem to deal with it much easier… I’m afraid of this escalating or starting to get bullied, I don’t know what to do. Advice?"

DAR bylaws have always been clear. It’s for the daughters—female descendants—of Revolutionary patriots. As a genealogical organization, DAR takes biological integrity so seriously that only biological descendants—i.e., not adopted family members—are eligible for membership. A small group of the DAR’s leadership now appears to believe that men can be women. They even contend that such men have always been allowed in the DAR. According to an internal FAQ document, members are expected to pretend that “transgender women” have always been eligible and that their inclusion took place “organically,” as if implicit in bylaws written before “transgenderism” was even thought to exist. Concerned DAR members told us that leadership provides confusing answers around the legal obligations of the organization, often citing irrelevant public accommodation laws about "trans women" while simultaneously citing their status as a private member org to exclude men.
When one DAR member posted in an unofficial DAR-focused Facebook group that she had requested copies of these legal opinions, pro-transgender activists promptly attempted to shut down the effort and accuse her of rule-breaking.
Multiple DAR members reached out to the Daily Wire with concerns about being prevented from even criticizing the potential policy change. One cited an alleged policy on “circularization” that she felt discouraged members from alerting media or organizing opposition via email.
Earlier this year, some members attempted to protect their society from men who insist upon invading women’s spaces. They proposed an amendment to the bylaws to clarify the definition of “woman”—a task that would have been unimaginable to the members’ illustrious ancestors. A select committee of radicalized leadership rejected this proposal.
It’s not as though men don’t have their own equivalent group. The Sons of the American Revolution has been around since 1889. My grandfather was the president of his chapter. My father joined. And I will be a member whenever I take the time to complete my formal application. But these men don’t want to join the Sons of the American Revolution. They want to pretend they aren’t sons at all. They pretend to be women and demand that women welcome them into a private women’s membership club. It's disordered and immoral.
The actual Daughters aren't giving up their society without a fight. A group of real Daughters are trying again, this time building a larger, grassroots effort to affirm the original intent of the bylaws and prevent men from continuing to invade their genealogical society."

I shit you not. So I've waited till today, when the company hosts one of its quarterly meetings with all the top brass across several sites, in person and online, to read out a statement on exactly what I thought of this “training”. I made reference to the precedent set when @MForstater won her appeal in June 2021, and levelled an accusation to the entire company that they are indirectly, and possibly directly, discriminating against all its employees under the protected characteristic of their freedom of belief. You could have heard a pin drop. At first. The result? HR is now bricking it. The training is no longer compulsory. They're taking matters under review, and I've had so many hugs and messages off support from my female colleagues. My boss shook my hand. It isn't easy speaking up. I've been very nervous till today. But as @ThePosieParker keeps telling me: if not me, then who? If not now, then when?
I think it was important that someone saw a gay man stand up and defend the women he works with, and send a message that this absurd nonsense has no place being forced upon us. I've sure I've made plenty of enemies at work today and pissed numerous people off. And I'm glad. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat because it's simply the right thing to do.

Alexander Secker, 35, who uses the alias Lexi Bowen, began identifying as a woman in the period between the assault and his court hearings but will carry out his sentence in a male prison...
