Hi, ( **Mental note: Must stop writing "Hi" or any equivalent greeting. This is a blog not an email!!** )
Spent 7 hours straight out of the house. That must be some kind of record (=
Left home at 11 something, went down to church of the good shepherd to look for the SERVE people. They were writing out song lyrics on mahjong paper; I wrote some of them (okay, i made booboos one of which was spotted- "With christ in the vessel" i wrote "And we'll go sailing on" instead of "And we'll go sailing home". Thankfully it could be rectified without mutilation).
The orang asli team was preparing their dance item in sign language to LeAnn Rime's "I need you"- track on the album "Music inspired by the Jesus Mini-series"- a really good mix of music according to Kimberly (you can tell there's a song by steven curtis chapman). Quite entertaining.
Then I met chaowan for lunch- was late. He suggested City Bayview Hotel's popiah buffet- $7.80 +++- quite horrible popiah. The turnip was quite bad, and so were most of the ingredients. I should have known, since there were only 4 other people eating there. And they were ang mohs who didn't know how to eat popiah- they scooped big heaps of the sliced ingredients on their plates and ate them.
