Do Students Have A Right Not To Be Seen Naked By Someone Of (Anatomically Speaking) The Other Sex? - "Do students have a “visual right to privacy” when it comes to their “unclothed or partially clothed bodies?” This is an important question and the courts are giving different answers. The issue comes up when transgender students seek access to the bathrooms and locker rooms designated for their identified genders rather than for their anatomical/genetic gender... According to a decision issued last week by Federal Judge Jorge Alonso, the plaintiffs allege that, “A female student (who is not a plaintiff but who had been sexually assaulted previously) was exposed to Student A’s penis.” The plaintiffs also allege that another female student “wears soiled, sweaty gym clothes under her school clothes for the rest of the school day” in order to avoid having to change her clothes in the locker room. Other students allege that they avoid using the bathrooms altogether... Judge Alonso held that there is no right to visual bodily privacy. That is too bad, because students, especially adolescents, need to have their privacy respected. Surely it violates the rights of students if, say, a teacher of the opposite gender walks into a locker room without knocking when students are undressed. And in cases where a student is a sexual assault survivor, her interest in not suddenly coming across the exposed penis of another student seems obvious... a federal appellate court in New York held that “We cannot conceive of a more basic subject of privacy than the naked body. The desire to shield one's unclothed figure from the view of strangers, and particularly strangers of the opposite sex, is impelled by elementary self-respect and personal dignity.”

Glasgow sport centres 'cross dressing' rules 'wide open to abuse' - "Campaigners say rules designed to be inclusive towards trans men and women are so broad, they render swimming and gym sessions designed to be single sex meaningless.The definition used by Glasgow Life, the arm’s length sport and leisure body, not only includes people who have fully transitioned, or are living as an adopted gender, but anyone who identifies as trans, including men who simply cross-dress... British woman's family relentlessly mobbed by activists for "misgendering" - "Farrow was investigated by the Surrey police at the behest of Susie Green, the founder of Mermaids Gender, a trans activist organization. Green reported tweets in which Farrow used male pronouns to address her MTF daughter, believing them to be a violation of the UK’s Malicious Communications Act. Green also noted a tweet from October of 2018 in which Farrow accused Green of facilitating the ‘castration’ of her underage trans daughter. This was related to claims that Green brought her trans daughter, then 16 years old, to Thailand to receive a sex-change as she was not of the legal age to do so in the UK. This was confirmed by Green herself in a 2012 BBC 3 Documentary. Green eventually dropped the complaint into Farrow, claiming she did not want to give Farrow a wider platform to spread “misinformation.”Since, Farrow and her family has been the target of rapidly escalating cyber-abuse. Farrow says her cyber-attackers found her exact personal details through multiple avenues, taking advantage of a mistake by her husband’s parish who accidentally advertised his mobile number on the website. They found her email address through her PayPal, and even took effort to locate her children’s schools. All of this information was published on a blog which has since been taken down and replaced with an equally disturbing website directing extreme abuse at Farrow and her family, along with two other individuals the manager responsible for the site takes issue with... In addition to cyber-harassment, which has included placing Farrow’s husband on gay hookup app Grindr and signing her children up for pornographic websites, the Farrows have been receiving Just Eat orders sent to their home at all hours... Most disturbingly, Farrow’s husband, a Priest, was reported to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) using an online form intended to anonymously tip of child sex abuse and domestic violence... Most interestingly, Farrow’s publication of her ordeal has resulted in trans activists claiming she is fabricating her claims for attention... an anonymous account popped up this week featuring almost exclusively an amateur rap music video in which a puppet calls Farrow a “whore” and sings “I hope you get raped by the gays that you hate.”"

He Still Plays Male Roles and Is Performing Don Giovanni at the Tulsa Opera, Becoming the First Transgender to Play a Lead Opera Role in the U.S. - "Lucia Lucas is the first transgender person to play a lead role in a U.S. opera, performing the title role in Don Giovanni at the Tulsa Opera on May 3 and May 5. Although Lucas identifies as a woman, he plays a man, singing the baritone role of Don Giovanni. This casting reveals the truth that transgender identity cannot hide: Lucas is male, not female."

Long-Term Follow-Up of Transsexual Persons Undergoing Sex Reassignment Surgery: Cohort Study in Sweden - "Persons with transsexualism, after sex reassignment, have considerably higher risks for mortality, suicidal behaviour, and psychiatric morbidity than the general population"
This suggests that sex change surgery is not really effective. If one wants to blame discrimination, suggesting that the sex change surgery didn't really work, that questions the validity of the other study which shows that post transition, transwomen saw a fall in income and the reverse for transmen. Though of course one could blame historic discrimination still - since discrimination is always the explanatory factor
Addendum: In this rigorous study (without the dropout rate problem that plagues pro-trans studies) the successful suicide rate for post-op transsexuals was 19 times that of the general population (and the suicide attempt rate was almost 3 times). So justifying surgery by saying they will kill themselves without it is a red herring - since they will kill themselves with it too.
"Female-to-males, but not male-to-females, had a higher risk for criminal convictions than their respective birth sex controls." - weird how transwomen are women, but offend like men.

Long-term follow-up of individuals undergoing sex reassignment surgery: Psychiatric morbidity and mortality. - "No significant difference in psychiatric morbidity or mortality was found between male to female and female to male (FtM) save for the total number of psychiatric diagnoses where FtM held a significantly higher number of psychiatric diagnoses overall. Despite the over-representation of psychiatric diagnoses both pre- and post-SRS the study found that only a relatively limited number of individuals had received diagnoses both prior to and after SRS. This suggests that generally SRS may reduce psychological morbidity for some individuals while increasing it for others."
This is based on 1978-2010. Given with trans mania the floodgates have been opened, it is certain that newer data will show it worsens psychiatric problems (since more patients unsuitable for the procedure are undergoing it due to fears of accusations of 'gatekeeping' or 'conversion therapy')
Addendum: Sex change surgery can worsen mental illness (and this in the era of "gatekeeping"). So much for trans activists' claims about it being "life saving"

Why is British media so transphobic? - "I’m referring here to the U.K. Skeptics movement of the early 2000s. Despite the fact that it was basically a loose network of people who were far too impressed with themselves for not believing in astrology and homeopathy, they have an outsized legacy. The movement consisted largely of groups meeting in pubs and organising talks promoting a specific brand of scientific skepticism and concerned primarily with the “debunking” of alternative medicine and pseudoscience. So far, so niche, but there is compelling evidence that suggests that both the ideological basis and some of the specific proponents of U.K. skepticism in the noughties are implicated in the spread of transphobic thinking into the mainstream media in this country. While claiming to be the country’s foremost critical thinkers, the group was riddled with anti-humanities bias and a fetish for a certain kind of “science” that it held to reveal a set of immutable principles upon which the world was built with almost no regard whatsoever for interpretative analysis based on social or historical factors. Part of this mode of thinking was an especially reductivist biologism: the idea that there are immutable realities to be found in our DNA, and if we just paid enough attention to Science and stopped trying to split hairs and discover meaning over in the superfluous disciplines of the humanities, then everything would be much simpler. It’s precisely this kind of biological essentialism — which skirts dangerously close to eugenics — that leads people to think they can “debunk” a person’s claim to their gender identity, or that it should be subjected to rigorous testing by someone in a lab coat before we can believe the subject is who they say they are... Besides the usual blanket unsupported assertions this is telling - an insistence on evidence and argument (i.e. skepticism) is "transphobic"
