Meme - Warren Kinsella @kinsellawarren: "Here's @CBCNews  reporter Margaret Evans not even pretending anymore. #cdnpoli"
"Margaret Evans. CBC News Senior International Correspondent" *wearing keffiyeh*
CBC media bias is a myth that only far right extremists prone to believing misinformation are taken in by

Woman with a keffiyeh gives a speech at Ottawa Pride calling Palestine “the moral compass of the world.”...mentions that Pride “has always been” a Intifada. : r/Ontario_Sub - "That's genuinely the narrative that a lot of the naive, young Westerners think that should happen here - just stop fighting. Israel should stop their "genocide". They have an incredibly simplistic view on a conflict they know little about.  Evidently Israel should accept living next to an enclave that is ruled by a radicalized Islamic terror cell who want to solely establish another Islamic theocracy and continue to launch rockets into Israel and attempt to pull off another October 7 until all the Jews are erased from existence."
"  I think the big reason so many people on the Left in the West are falling for this swill is that they lack empathy. They cannot even imagine what it is to grow up in Israel knowing that you're a tiny country, both geographically and in population, surrounded by huge, highly populated countries filled with religious fanatics who want you dead. From a very young age, you learn about where the bomb shelter is and what to do in a terrorist attack. You constantly hear of the enemy trying to fly over, tunnel under, swim around, or go through the fences and walls that surround you, being willing to sacrifice their lives just to kill a Jew. Year after year after year. And then due to a lapse in the government's attention, thousands of them succeed and they do what everyone has always said they would do - mercilessly slaughter every single person they find - pausing, though to do some torture and rape first.  You have grown up fat, happy and safe. You can't put yourself in that mindset. You think everyone has the same moral compass, the same ethics, the same desires as you. That's doubly so since most of the Left aren't religious and so can't understand how deeply religious people would do such insanely stupid things as to sacrifice their lives just to kill a stranger. You have never known want, never known war. These are far away things that don't personally concern you.  What's going on in Gaza is a war started by the Palestinians with a mass slaughter, one they lost and refuse to surrender. So your 'moral compass' tells you Israel must simply - stop? And then what? Reinforce the border and hope that the next time the Palestinians attack, they'll stop them quicker? Because if you think the Palestinians have learned anything from this, because YOU would have, you are entirely wrong. YOU would say, "Well, we sure won't do that again!" but they instead think, "That worked great! Let's do it again as soon as possible!" And I know this because they have SAID this. You think they care about buildings destroyed? The international community will pay to repair them. You think they care about their dead? To them, they're all in heaven, so lucky them.  Meanwhile, they've convinced a ton of stupid people in the West to hate Israel and Jews."
The moral compass of the world is that queers should be executed. Good job.

MEMRI on X - "Senior Hamas Official Fathi Hammad To Palestinians In Jerusalem: Buy 5-Shekel Knives And Cut Off The Heads Of The Jews (archival) #Hamas #Gaza"
Laura Loomer on X - "“But Laura, the GAZANS are just such innocent people. Why are you so cold hearted.” Can you imagine the offspring of these people? These people live to breed terrorists."

Vivid.🇮🇱 on X - "This is how thousands of Palestinians cheered and celebrated on 9/11, which resulted in the loss of 2,977 innocent lives. Just as they celebrated on October 7th. Don't you ever forget."

Max 📟 on X - "They have to blame 9/11 on Israel because the alternative would require them to admit that the Palestinian Arabs were the most enthusiastic supporters of the 9/11 attacks. It was the best day of their lives."
Time to talk about Dancing Jews again

Terror Alarm on X - "🚨🇮🇱🇮🇷 The Israeli Mossad hacked into Tehran's hijab control cameras, using them to track terrorists for a year. Here's the kicker: after the 12-Day War, Mossad wiped data on Iranian girls collected by the morality police from Iranian servers. #ShabbatShalom"

Hen Mazzig on X - "“WE ARE FIGHTING THE JEWS, NOT ZIONISM”   So-called human rights activist Ahed Tamimi has long received glowing press coverage for assaulting an Israeli soldier while still a teen.   On a recent podcast interview, she showed her true colors. And it didn’t sound like ‘activism.’  “I was raised [to believe] that Judaism means occupation, and today, tomorrow, and a million years from now, I will continue to say that Judaism [should] be presented to the children of Palestine – children of my age and younger – as occupation, and that we are fighting the Jews, not Zionism.  “The whole world needs to shut up, when a Palestinian is talking. We are superior to the entire world, because we are the only ones in the world fighting injustice, at the expense of our lives, and the expense of our humanity.”  She further expressed her hope that World War III will break out.   If this woman is an international symbol of your movement, you might want to reconsider that movement altogether."
She is claiming to represent Palestinians and is "an international symbol of Palestinian resistance", but we will still be told that Palestinians are not anti-Semitic, or that they can't be anti-Semtic because they are semites (but of course, you don't need to be scared of gay people to be a homophobe)

Egyptian Atheist on X - "Bahgat Saber, the top recruiter for the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, isn’t hiding in Doha, he’s operating freely out of New York. Nearly every day, he goes live online, spewing hate, urging a global intifada, calling for the murder of Jews, and explicitly inciting the assassinations of Egyptian President El-Sisi, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Emirati Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed, all in the name of reviving the Caliphate.  Egypt has formally and repeatedly asked the United States to act against him, only to be dismissed with the same tired excuse: “freedom of speech.”   What Western governments are really doing is giving extremists a platform. By turning a blind eye, they’re not just enabling rhetoric, they’re enabling terrorism. And as long as they keep hiding behind legal technicalities, more people like Mohamed Soliman will be radicalized, and more blood will be spilled.  And if you’re too cowardly to act, then at least deport them back to countries that know how to deal with terrorists the way they deserve."

Lebanon says it is beginning disarmament of Palestinian factions in refugee camps : r/worldnews - "So we're just meant to ignore the blatant admission refugee camps are being used to hide weapons"
Damn Zionists!

Lebanon says it is beginning disarmament of Palestinian factions in refugee camps : r/worldnews - "We should also definitely ignore the fact that for 80 years Lebanon has refused to integrate their residents of Palestinian heritage and refuse to grant them citizenship (even if married to a Lebanese citizen), allow them to own land, work certain professions, or vote."
"We never wanted them in our country and after the atrocities the Palestinians committed against us ethnic Lebanese they will never be granted citizenship."
"Hmmm, sounds like .... oh what was that term used a lot recently ... oh that's right, an apartheid system based on ethnicity?  Funny how literal apartheid isn't called out when it doesn't fit the narrative."

Dan Burmawi on X - "The Arabs, who have 22 countries, over 400 million people, and nearly 14 million square kilometers of land, have convinced the world that their dignity hinges on carving out a 23rd country by mutilating the only Jewish state on earth, a state that occupies less than 0.2% of the surrounding landmass."

Dan Burmawi on X - "The Palestine Post was a Jewish newspaper. The Palestinian Orchestra was made of Jews. The Palestine Brigade fought the Nazis, as Jews. Arabs in the region rejected the term Palestinian altogether. They identified as Southern Syrians, as Arabs, or as Muslims, anything but Palestinian.   It was a label they found beneath them, a colonial invention they never claimed until it became politically expedient to do so."

Dan Burmawi on X - "Think about this for a second, really pause and think:   Between 1948 and 1967, Egypt controlled Gaza and Jordan annexed the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. This is the same Palestinian state the Arabs are demanding today, the exact same land.   So what changed? Why didn’t they create a Palestinian state back then?  I’ll tell you why: the whole Palestinian identity was manufactured to rally the world against the Jewish state. The land had been part of the Islamic Caliphate, and Muslims could not tolerate a sovereign Jewish state on it.  After rejecting the 1947 United Nations partition plan and attacking Israel in 1948, only to fail to destroy the newly established Jewish state, the Arabs ended up controlling Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem between 1948 and 1967.   For 19 years, Israel didn’t attempt to occupy that territory.  Then, in 1967, the Arab states tried again to destroy Israel. Once again, they were defeated, and this time, Israel took control of the West Bank and Gaza.  In 1994, Yitzhak Rabin proposed to withdraw from the West Bank and Gaza, but he was assassinated. Ehud Barak, who came from Rabin’s political school, returned in 2000 and offered the Palestinians everything except 4% of the West Bank, which they agreed could be compensated through land swaps.   Still, Yasser Arafat rejected the offer.  The Arabs are basically asking for the same pieces of land they already controlled for 19 years, and did nothing with.  Today, the entire two-state solution hoax is being used to rally the world against Israel. But the world fails to understand: the Arabs never wanted a state. They want Israel gone.  If Israel agrees to withdraw from the West Bank, it would be committing national suicide. They already withdrew from Gaza in 2005, and look what happened."

𝔼𝕝𝕝𝕚𝕠𝕥 𝕄𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕟 🎗️ on X - "Casual reminder that every single war and conflict Israel has been involved in, including the Six Day War, was started because it was attacked or the other party was preparing to attack. Every. Single. One."

Captain Allen on X - "When they say, “It didn’t start on October 7.” Right. It didn’t start in 1948 either. Why did 400+ Arabs massacre Jews in Tiberias - burning many alive or shooting them as they fled - back in 1938? That was 10 years before the modern State of Israel even existed."

Montreal Jews to celebrate Pride, despite efforts to block Zionists from participating - "A large contingent of Jews is expected to march in the 2025 Montreal Pride parade on Aug. 11, despite efforts by anti-Israel activists who have campaigned for some time to exclude Zionists from an event ostensibly meant to promote acceptance, inclusion, and… pride. Festival organizer Fierté Montreal has been beset by multiple grievances from partner groups and affiliates, and on the receiving end of a host of accusations, from being capitalist, racist, and lesbo-phobic, to supporting police brutality, colonialism, and Zionism. Demands include bans on actual Zionists, as well as Israeli flags, and cutting out partners who activists claim contribute to Palestinian suffering. (Major festival partners include federal, provincial, and municipal governments, as well as Hydro Québec and TD Bank.) In a statement on its website, Fierté Montréal responded to the charge that it is Zionist or supports Israeli organizations. The organization declared it “does not take political positions at the international level. We listen to local 2SLGBTQIA+ communities who suffer directly or indirectly from geopolitical upheavals and conflicts and remain in solidarity within a safe and caring framework. This includes ensuring the safety of these people when they participate in our activities... Rabbi Grushcow told The CJN it’s cruel to ask Jews to sacrifice part of their identity to be included in efforts to celebrate identity. “It will send young Jews into the shadows and force them to practice self-censorship, to not show up, to not identify, and not be the whole person they are.” Last year’s contingent did not make a point of hoisting Israeli flags, a conscious decision says Godoy,to not “fan the flames of intolerance, which are extremely strong within the LGBTQ+ community against Jews.”... To even consider barring Zionists is horrific she says, and akin to welcoming women, but not feminists. “That’s a great metaphor. Part of what’s so painful and disturbing, is we know the origins of LGBTQ rights came from Stonewall and came in struggle. I understand this emphasis on this intersectional connection between different struggles for justice, but it can’t be at the cost of people’s actual identity.”... “There’s no separating my queerness from my Jewishness and from my Zionism,” he told The CJN. “There’s no separation. It’s me and all me. I show up as who I am, and if you can’t accept all of who I am and allow me to be prideful, then I cannot in good conscience attend the parade.” Rabbi Gruschow says accepting “good Jews who separate themselves from Zionism as okay, but everybody else isn’t, either ignores or chooses not to care that the vast majority of Jews are Zionists and creates a terrible setup where you have to align yourself with some sort of ideological purity.” It’s a very cruel irony that Jews are asked to leave part of their identity behind to be considered safe and accepted, she says, in a celebration of identity and inclusion, and she shudders at the notion that Pride is not for all. “To be told you can go into queer spaces only if you disavow your Zionism, which in this case, becomes a code word for Judaism, doesn’t pass the smell test.” Her markedly reasoned and positive missive in French media last month elicited quite a bit of vitriol, including one writer claiming it bordered on “hate literature,” and that she should be banned from the parade. The language has gotten so extreme, particularly surrounding “genocide” she says those claiming to stand for that cause “feel it’s by any means necessary, including harassing older Jewish people trying to get into their apartment building, and stopping the gay pride parade.” Despite activists’ efforts, including one group that declares “Pride is an intifada,” Fierté Montreal hasn’t given in and told Zionists to stay away... Only two North American cities delivered a Pride parade from start to finish with their Jews on board last year, “San Francisco and Montreal,” he says, and that’s testament to “phenomenal work and support from CIJA and work that we’ve been doing, talking to public stakeholders, and with partners within the Jewish community.”... As for groups calling for outright discrimination of Jews, including some identifying as anti-Zionist Jews, he says “these radical terror supporters, and those who call themselves Jewish, have called us out, are targeting and doxing some of us. Lots of saber rattling, but fundamentally, these groups aren’t LGBTQ+, and it’s not for them to say who should and shouldn’t be in the parade.” At the same time, “other groups stated they wouldn’t participate in Montreal Pride this year if Zionists are included. If they’re not participating, then we wish them good luck. We’re going to do our thing.”... Amy Schecter was at the 2024 march and found it mostly positive and peaceful, other than protesters halting the procession for a limited time, and groups along the parade route yelling at the Jewish marchers, “that we’re terrorists and Zionists. Okay, I admit I’m a Zionist, but I’m definitely not a terrorist.” She said baby killer was also a choice slur hurled across the road. “I’m a baby killer? That’s quite ironic, because I’m a postpartum nurse. I take care of mommies and babies. That’s what I do. That was quite horrible to hear.”... There are three camps in the LGBTQ community in Montreal, he said, “those who are anti-Israel which sometimes ventures into antisemitism, pro-Israel groups, and then those in the middle who are neither for nor against but concerned about their own LGBTQ issues. They saw what happened in New York and Toronto, saw parades being cancelled, and their cause being hijacked by another cause, which shouldn’t necessarily colonize their moment.”"
The same people who claim "intifada" isn't about violence get upset over the use of the word "crusade" being Islamophobic, even though the latter is a lot more normalised in English as a non-violent term

Eyal Yakoby on X - "BREAKING: Islamists in Melbourne, Australia stormed a Jewish restaurant and began hurling chairs, food, and glassware while chanting “Death to the IDF.”  Right after, a synagogue was torched nearby. This is what a global intifada looks like—kick out Islamists now."

Emma Vigeland on X - "Zohran being peppered with questions about antisemitism and Israel -- despite being ethnically Indian, from Uganda, and having no connection to any militant Muslim organization -- is RACISM. It's no different than badgering a Jewish candidate about "dual loyalty." Disgusting."
George on X - "Anyone who says “globalize the intifada” is a good statement is going to get those questions."
Emma Vigeland on X - ""Intifada" means uprising and/or rebellion, but I get that Arabic words sound super scary to you. Thanks for making my point for me."
Ari Paul ⛓️ on X - "Do you make similar statements in response to dog whistle racism? If a right wing nationalist said, “I think we need to help all Japanese “concentrate”, kind of like we did 70 years ago” would you say, “what’s wrong with “concentrating”? Hamas, Iran, Hezbollah, and the recent synagogue bombers and DC terrorists all say they mean something very specific by “global intifada.”  And it involves lots and lots of murder as we keep seeing.    Zoran himself previously referenced the violent second intifada and predicted a third.  He was predicting a third what exactly?"
Left wingers are only obsessed with "dog whistles" when the allegations push the left wing agenda
And of course "globalise the intifada" is even more of a dog whistle than just "intifada" alone. Clearly, we cannot criticise anyone who talks about a final solution

Simon Myerson KC 🎗️ on X - "Oh thank goodness. My 16 year old cousin was blown to bits by a suicide bomber, but it’s a huge comfort to know it was only an uprising."
PolicyRespecter on X - ""Ok, so 'itbach al Yahud' means 'slaughter the Jews', but I get that Arabic words sound super scary to you.""

Friend of the Talking Bird on X - ""Führer" means "leader" in German. In English, however, it means a very specific type of leader. When words are borrowed, they may not preserve their original language connotations."
Mark Zlochin - מארק זלוצ'ין༝ on X - "Now do "Mein Kampf""
Adam Mossoff on X - "Sure, and everyone who knows scary-sounding German knows that "Arbeit Macht Frei" is just a German aphorism about the virtue of productivity in the free market."

Topper Harley 🚁 on X - ""It's just what British people call a 'cigarette', chill out!""

Meme - Emma Vigeland @EmmaVigeland: ""Honest" people don't deliberately strip out centuries of historical context from their readings of words and actions. This is the same way they obscure the intention behind the phrase "White Lives Matter.""

Decision to ban Jewish groups from Montreal's pride parade overturned - "Less than a week after organizers of Montreal’s pride parade barred Jewish groups from participating, officials have made an about-face. On Tuesday, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) announced that Jews would be permitted once again to participate in the annual celebration on Sunday, one day after the chair of the board of Fierte Montreal tendered his resignation... Last week, Fierte Montreal organizers summarily barred Ga’ava — Canada’s oldest and largest Jewish LGBT organization — and CIJA from participating in the parade, saying the move was in solidarity with Palestinians, and accusing the groups of spreading hate speech. Ga’ava president Carlos Godoy told the Montreal Gazette on Wednesday that organizers accused them of using “hate speech by describing some groups who had attempted to prevent us from walking in the Pride parade as ‘pro-terror’ and ‘pro-Hamas.'” While Israel is a rare haven in the Middle East for members of the LGBT community and features a vibrant and active gay community, homosexuality is illegal in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Despite Palestinian terror groups like Hamas boastfully putting to death even those accused of being homosexual, far-left LGBT activists still regularly ally themselves with the pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel cause. Fierte Montreal’s decision triggered an explosion of opposition from both Jewish groups and politicians, with now-former chair Bernard Truong announcing his resignation on Monday for so-called “personal reasons.”"
Weird. We keep being told that anti-Zionism isn't anti-Semitism. But terrorism supporters keep revealing what they really think
Left wing "inclusiveness" is highly contingent
If calling groups 'pro-terror' and 'pro-Hamas' is "hate speech", does that mean that Palestinian identity revolves around supporting terrorism and Hamas?

Update: Woman arrested after liquid that ‘smelled like urine’ was thrown at Jewish groups in Montreal Pride parade

Jews marched in Montreal Pride after the parade reversed its ban on Jewish groups. Then someone threw piss-filled water balloons at them. : r/CanadianConservative - "Imagine christians threw a piss balloon at pride marchers. It would be news everywhere, but this will sadly slip through the cracks. Terrible."
"Then it would be classed as a hate crime."

Jewish LGBTQ2+ group excluded from Montreal Pride as organizers condemn ‘genocide in Gaza’ : r/canada - "does anyone know why there is much overlap between lgbtq communities and the gaza cause? im gay myself so im just curious"
"The most vocal part of LGBT movement seems to be pretty stupid and dont understand that muslims hate them."
"Southern Alabama probably hates lgbtq people, but I wouldn't cosign bombing it off the map"
"It’s because they’ve turned their causes into a replacement for religion and the doctrine makes it so. These people proselytize about their causes like fanatics."
Left wing logic: because in Southern Alabama they don't want biological men using women's bathrooms, they are as bad as in Gaza where they execute gay people

Prayer rooms causing tensions in Quebec colleges, new government report says - "A new report from the Quebec government says prayer rooms are fuelling a climate of radicalization and mistrust in the province’s junior colleges. The report questions the relevance of prayer rooms in public colleges and says they make it harder for students to get along. The document is the result of an investigation of two English-language junior colleges in Montreal, launched last November following complaints that the conflict in the Middle East had created an unsafe climate on campus."
