Bonchie on X - "hahahaha Stephanie Ruhle slobbered over Kamala a few days ago, saying she doesn’t have to do interviews because democracy is at stake, and the Harris campaign immediately called her up and says, “You’re our kind of interviewer.” Incredible."

Meme - Kitten 💖🐈 @kitten_beloved: "Public opinion is an output of our system, not an input  Most people have no actual opinion, they are simply echoing a perceived social consensus which is more malleable to propaganda than they would ever admit to themselves"
"Do Americans have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Kamala Harris?"
*Unfavorable rating rising steadily and favorable rating falling until Biden got ousted*

Harris calls for Americans to 'move past the failed policies' in November, draws mockery - "Vice President Kamala Harris faced ridicule on social media after she called for Americans to move on from the "failed policies" that "we have proven don't work"... "Acceptance is the first step," Former 2020 Trump campaign advisor and Fox News contributor Steve Cortes joked... "Kamala Harris says we need to move past the failed policies that don’t work. She’s telling to to vote for Trump. Listen to her," Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon wrote... "Quite the optics today as Harris is out saying we need to move past failed policies while the old man is on The View saying he delegated everything to her in his administration," posted Versus media podcast host Stephen L. Miller."

Wesley Hunt on X - "Florida Governor Ron DeSantis OBLITERATES Kamala Harris on her political games surrounding Milton and hurricane response. Notice how he says, “she has NO role in this,” and that he’s been in contact with Biden not her. Feels like things are getting desperate at Camp Harris."
Kamala says Ron DeSantis is "playing political games" with Hurricane Helene, but Biden says he’s “doing a great job” - "Sounds like Kamala is either lying about this phone call or she got lured into being part of this fabricated story of NBC's.  Regardless, this is making her look even less competent than she already was.  (Think Biden did that on purpose??)"

Meme - Stephen King @StephenKing: "Ron DeSantis's decision not to take the vice president's call ahead of Hurricane Milton was like a sulky teenager refusing to talk to a girl who won't date him. Childish. And dangerous."
Gunther @GuntherEagleman: "He spoke with her boss, dipsht"

Hypocrite Kamala Harris using deadly storms for political gain - "Sounding like a disinterested customer service agent reading a script, a performative Harris offered Welch this inanity as his city was threatened by 100-mph winds and more than 18 inches of rain: “Know that you are invited to give any feedback about what you might need in real time because you’re the leadership on the ground, so you know what your folks need.”...   An exasperated DeSantis, who has a proven reputation for stellar hurricane preparedness and recovery, said he had no clue the VP even called.  “I’ve been dealing with these storms in Florida under both [former President Donald] Trump and [President] Biden. Neither of them ever politicized it,” he told CNBC...   Then she called CNN and accused Trump of spreading “disinformation” about FEMA in the aftermath of town-destroying Hurricane Helene.  “We all know it’s dangerous, and the gamesmanship has to stop. At some point the politics has to end, especially in a moment of crisis,” Harris told Dana Bash.  It’s like she’s been unburdened of her self-awareness.   On to the Weather Channel, where Harris spoke with meteorologist Mike Bettes, who asked her about DeSantis. Harris said it wasn’t a time to point fingers, then did just that."

""President Obama's recent call for Black men to support Kamala Harris based solely on her skin color, rather than her policies, is deeply insulting. Black Americans are not a monolith, and we don owe our votes to any candidate just because they 'look like us." Black Men for Trump Advisory Board Joint Statement"

Kamala Harris' greatest weakness is her inauthentic self -- and black Americans can see right through it - "Kamala Harris’ greatest enemy is herself, and her most notable weakness is her inability to convey sincerity in her messaging to the public.   Her authenticity handicap has recently been reflected in her dwindling polling data with black Americans, a historically reliable Democratic voter bloc. Charlamagne Tha God of “The Breakfast Club” invited Vice President Harris for an audio-only town hall in Detroit featuring prerecorded questions from the audience.   From the very first question, her believability came under scrutiny by Charlamagne.   “Folks say you come off as very scripted and like to stick to your talking points,” he said — and she promptly interrupted him by saying, “Some people would call that disciplined.”...   “Doesn’t the Biden administration have to take some blame for the border, though? A lot of blame because for the first three years, y’all did get a lot of wrong with the border?” Charlemagne asked.   “The first bill we passed … the first thing we dropped was a bill to fix the broken immigration system,” Harris replied, about a bill introduced just recently after years of failure.    What summed up this interview was how she addressed a concern of a caller who questioned the motives behind sending money abroad in abundance when there are many pressing issues that remain here:   “We can do it all!” she claimed, unconvincingly...   Far too frequently, black voters have watched Democratic politicians of all colors utilize urban media to say the buzzwords and catchphrases that gain our attention and then disappear for four years without keeping their word.   Because of this phenomenon, black voters have grown skeptical of who stands before them claiming to have their best interest in mind...   Our history of being used for the benefit of identity politics has many of us wanting a solid answer about whether the Kamala Harris we’re witnessing is genuine or someone who was crafted by the Democratic Party elite to appeal to us.   Kamala Harris doesn’t have enough trust equity built up to be believed about her so-called positions or advocacy and the superficial answers she provides only exacerbate our doubt.   Throughout her entire interview, Harris often said the right things that black voters could expect to hear from a Democratic politician seeking office. The difference is that we don’t believe her...   The days of blindly voting for a party due to tradition or choosing a candidate only because they happen to resemble you are starting to come to an end.   Black Americans are increasingly tired of “shout-out” politics, where they conjure up black people to push an agenda that doesn’t benefit us and refuse to provide us anything of substance for using our namesake.   Kamala Harris appears to be much of the same that has failed us before and a chameleon who has studied what we want without a realistic plan to execute it."
Internalised racism and white supremacy!

Dems can only escape Kamala Harris' woeful record by censoring bad news of admin's failures - "As Biden’s designated border czar, Harris cannot evade responsibility for the irreparable damage on her watch, after 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens entered the country, including hundreds of thousands of criminals and terrorists.   She can’t pretend it wasn’t deliberate because there are too many video clips on social media showing her past statements of support for far-left open border policies, including free Medicare for illegals and the reward of a rapid “path” to citizenship.  She made a brazen attempt Friday to remedy the toxic politics by posing as a border hawk and trying to turn the tables on Trump with a 20-minute photo opportunity at the Arizona border, dressed in a combat jacket in 99-degree heat and a chunky gold necklace reportedly worth more than $60,000.  But the stunt backfired under the weight of its own absurdity and the fortuitously timed release of new Customs and Immigration Enforcement data showing that over 600,000 illegal migrants with criminal histories or pending criminal charges have been let loose in the country. That includes more than 13,000 convicted murderers and 15,000 convicted rapists... This is why you have heard two former secretaries of state, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, bemoaning the existence of the First Amendment in recent days, using similar language about the need to “break the fever” of disinformation by electing Harris.   Clinton has even called for criminal sanctions against Americans who share “misinformation.” Of course, disinformation or misinformation is whatever Democrats find inconvenient, as we learned when the New York Post’s accurate reporting about Hunter Biden’s laptop was censored before the 2020 election because it was damaging to his father’s presidential campaign.  Kerry, not being the brightest tool in the Dem shed, let the cat out of the bag Wednesday in a World Economic Forum panel on green energy during the UN gabfest in New York City.  Referring to “climate misinformation,” Biden’s former globe-trotting climate czar launched the most astonishing diatribe attacking freedom of speech, which he claims is the only thing standing in the way of “consensus” — a.k.a. the Democrat narrative...   Kerry moaned that Americans no longer trust the “referees we used to have to determine what is a fact and what isn’t a fact,” presumably meaning propaganda mouthpieces at outlets like the New York Times that used to reliably regurgitate his climate lies... If this is what they say in front of the camera, you can only imagine the plans they are hatching behind closed doors.   If Harris does win the election, the dark clouds of censorship will descend on America, just as they have in the UK, Europe, Australia, Canada and New Zealand."

Kamala has a man problem, and belittling men is making it worse - "an inconvenient truth for Kamala Harris’ campaign, and the left as a whole, emerged: They have a man problem.  Dudes just aren’t into her. And the current veep is losing ground with black male voters — as Trump is increasingly attracting demographics that traditionally leaned Democrat.  According to the New York Times Sienna polls, Trump has an 11-point lead over Harris among men. And with three weeks to go before election day, the campaign and its surrogates have launched a Hail Mary or an “Our Father” to appeal to the not-so-fairer sex.  Incredibly, their strategy to sway men to a feckless presidential candidate is to belittle them, call them misogynists and reduce them to Carhartt caricatures.  It was like they saw the damage of JD Vance’s haunting “childless cat lady” comment from 2021 and said, hold my Bud Light. On Thursday, Barack Obama scolded a group of black men in Pittsburgh over their lack of “energy” for Harris.  “I’ve got a problem with that because — because part of it makes me think, and I’m speaking to men directly now, part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president”...  I can’t imagine “The View” host Sunny Hostin smoothed things over on Monday, saying, “We’ve got to reach those ridiculous, crazy black men that did vote for Trump.”...   While it all seemed to crescendo last week, this dude disconnect didn’t just fall out of a coconut tree.  For the better part of the last decade, the left and all of the cultural institutions it controls, has been sweeping men aside, pushing the idea that traditional masculinity is toxic with mottos like “men are trash and “the future is female” (All while also unable to define a woman). Men have been falling behind in education and wages. The Harris campaign’s solution was to go all in on abortion and assume she could girl boss their way through the campaign.  To appeal to men, they chose Walz, who was touted as all guns, football and military service but without the baggage of a knuckle dragging Neanderthal. He was a feminist. He has also turned out to be a serial fabulist.  They gave us “wife guy” Doug Emhoff, who, as Jen Psaki said, “reshaped the perception of masculinity.” This despite knocking up his nanny and allegedly slapping a girlfriend, a claim his camp has denied. These city slickers have also attempted to reclaim the camo hat to cosplay as a rural red blooded Americans.  They shored up their male support by creating segregated zoom calls like “White Dudes for Harris ” where celebs like Jeff Bridges and Mark Ruffalo came together to revel in how great it would be to elect a woman. On that call, singer Josh Groban talked about his white male privilege.  It was elites touting their glorious identity politics, offering nothing to men all over this country struggling to put food on their tables and support their families. (Though the Republicans, it must be noted, are struggling to form a cohesive message in a post Roe era). The problem is that society stopped listening to men and their concerns. They were told to fit into a neat subservient box so that women can lead. Then they were called mansplainers.  The left acted like they needed to be re-educated and rebranded, not engaged.  And it might just cost them the election."
Clearly, this shows that men aren't voting for Harris because she's a woman. It cannot show that women are voting for Harris *just* because she's one

Walz says he ‘misspoke,’ has been ‘knucklehead’ about Tiananmen Square lie (Video) - "Tim Walz was pressed on why he falsely said he was in Hong Kong during the pro-democracy protests at Tiananmen Square in 1989 -- something that was unearthed just hours before the debate.  Walz said he "hasn't been perfect" and was a "knuckle head at times," before saying he sometimes gets "caught up in the rhetoric."  Multiple outlets have reported that Walz was actually in Nebraska during the 1989 protests -- not in China"

Kamala Harris avoids substance in favor of 'Call Her Daddy' - "Harris is gearing up for a softball tour, visiting the right-hating ladies of “The View,” Stephen “Dancing Vaccine Needle” Colbert and Howard Stern: all people ready to throw her a parade because she’s not the Bad Orange Man. On Sunday, she was on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, which is a place for celebrities to talk about copulation in such a tawdry way that it would make Samantha Jones blush. It’s where Katy Perry boasted of rewarding fiance Orlando Bloom with oral sex if he’s done housework, and Brazilian pop star Anitta and comedian Heather McMahan shared their fellatio tips. Christina Aguilera once referred to herself as a “promoter of the swallow” on the show. Not exactly an incisive political forum.  But it is a safe spot for Harris — who has been showered with soft-focus media features and fawning takes on her cooking and clothing — to once again be treated like a glittering celebrity... how does that move the needle for Harris, who was preaching to her choir of Gen Z women? (Although even they didn’t want it. Some listeners immediately took to social media to voice displeasure at having politics creep into their escapist space.)  Sunday on “Meet the Press,” Andrea Mitchell said Harris needed to do tougher interviews, expose herself to harsher elements. “She’s got such a big problem with men … big problem. But also the business world, they don’t think she’s serious. They don’t think she’s a heavyweight.”  So naturally, the veep went on “Call Her Daddy” — “to talk about the things that people really care about,” she said. For a show that deals in lurid revelations, it was relatively boring and Harris played the old hits: her empty platitudes about possibility and ambition — as if the American people think of ourselves as do-nothing slobs in the absence of her affirmation.  Abortion took up a large part of the conversation. Cooper repeated fear-mongering lies about Georgia woman Amber Thurman’s tragic death from a septic infection, saying the 28-year-old died because doctors in the state were hesitant to treat her due to a six-week abortion ban, as Harris nodded along. (Thurman’s family blames the doctors, not the law.) Cooper then asked Harris if there is “any law that gives the government the power to make a decision about a man’s body.”  Harris giggled. “No. No. No. No. No. It’s, no.”  Perhaps a producer should have chimed in, “Hey, what about the military draft?” The vice president also spoke of her advocacy for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence: “So the point being that abuse of anyone is something we should all take seriously as opposed to saying, it’s none of our business.”  Except, that is, if her own husband, Doug Emhoff, has been accused of slapping an ex-girlfriend in 2012, knocking up his kids’ nanny and allegedly paying her $80,000. (A spokesperson for Emhoff said of the slap allegation, “The report is untrue.”)   The one bright spot was a response to Sarah Huckabee Sanders stupidly mocking Harris because she doesn’t have biological children. Harris defended the value of being a stepparent. It was humanizing, but did little to convince me that she could be commander-in-chief when the world is on fire.  The media landscape has experienced a seismic change even since the 2020 race — and a wise candidate will sit with a variety of legacy and independent media outlets, podcasters and influencers. They’re excellent vehicles to have a free-ranging chat with nuance. And it doesn’t always have to be combative.  But it should be led by someone with expertise. In her intro, Cooper says she doesn’t get involved in politics and doesn’t interview politicians, which was clearly a draw for Team Harris. No pressure. No deep knowledge of the issues. No pushback.  It was a venue for Harris to treat women like one-dimensional creatures sated by pro-abortion rhetoric — an insult to our intelligence. But the Harris strategy is to create an illusion that she’s digging in. And all of these friendly, airy chats provide cover and drown out her lack of depth. We need her on more shows like “60 Minutes,” where Bill Whitaker pressed the VP on her economic plan, saying what we’re all thinking:  “But we’re dealing with the real world here.”"

CBS News’ ’60 Minutes’ fails to address VP Kamala Harris edit controversy in latest episode - ""60 Minutes" on Sunday failed to address the growing controversy that has engulfed CBS News after the network aired two different answers to the same question from its high-profile interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.  CBS News has been under fire after Harris’ lengthy "word salad" answer that was aired on the Oct. 6 episode of "Face the Nation" to promote the "60 Minutes" sit-down was edited out of the primetime edition of the show that aired Monday, Oct. 7. CBS has faced pressure to release the transcript, or unedited video, as many question whether Harris’ widely mocked answer was simply cut for time or removed to help the Democratic presidential nominee. The first episode of "60 Minutes" since the controversy erupted aired on Sunday night, but the network did not inform its viewers of the situation or mention it whatsoever. The silence comes after CBS News has declined public comment on the ordeal despite widespread calls for transparency."

Thread by @VigilantFox on Thread Reader App – Thread Reader App - "Kamala Harris Falls Apart in Train-Wreck Fox News Interview  Kamala thought she was ready for Bret Baier—she was wrong. Two moments in particular were especially humiliating.  Here’s how it all went down.  🧵 THREAD
The conversation quickly went off the rails when Kamala Harris dodged Bret Baier's question on illegal immigration while simultaneously saying, “Let’s get to the point.”  You never see anything like this happen with any other candidate, and it’s so unusual that you literally can’t make it up.
BRET BAIER: “How many illegal immigrants would you estimate your administration has released into the country over the last three and a half years?”
KAMALA HARRIS: “Bret, let's just get to the point. Okay? The point is that we have a broken immigration system that needs to be repaired.”
The next question involved Kamala slurring her words, saying, "No future HURM would occur,” while blaming Trump for nursing student Laken Riley's death.  This was right after Bret Baier informed Kamala to her face that the illegal immigrant who murdered Riley came on her watch and before any bill negotiations were on the table. Kamala then oddly flipped the script from “the border is secure” to the border has been insecure for a long time, and it started with Trump.  Bret Baier then reminded her that there were “90-plus executive orders that were rescinded in the first days. Many of those were Trump border policies.”  Kamala didn't know how to respond and was left speechless.
Kamala’s full-blown TDS overcame her further when Bret Baier played an ad that exposed her support for taxpayer-funded sex changes for prisoners.  The vice president responded by complaining about how much money Trump spent on that ad.
In typical Kamala Harris fashion, the vice president said her plan for the economy would “strengthen” it, and Trump's plan would “blow up our deficits.”  Kamala provided zero details on what her plan entails.
Things went from bad to worse when Kamala still could not come up with a single thing that she would do differently than Joe Biden.  Bret Baier asked, “So you're not Joe Biden, you're not Donald Trump, but nothing comes to mind that you would do differently?”  Instead of answering the question, Kamala rambled for a full minute while saying nothing of substance...
The most painful moment of the night occurred when Kamala Harris crumbled for two minutes straight on a question about why Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is moving in.  Kamala revealed that doesn't have one useful thing to say other than to belittle Donald Trump.  This moment was an absolute train wreck because it made Kamala look like an NPC that could only provide pre-programmed answers.
The conversation took an uncomfortable turn when Harris got angry talking about Donald Trump and the "enemy from within."  What she conveniently left out at the end is the perfect example of hypocrisy.  “This is a democracy. And in a democracy, the President of the United States, in the United States of America, should be willing to be able to handle criticism without saying he'd lock people up for doing it,” Harris said.  But the Democrats literally use lawfare try and to lock Donald Trump before an election. That's about as anti-democratic as it gets.
Arguably, the most embarrassing moment of the night happened when Kamala fell for the most obvious trap ever.  Bret Baier seemingly empathized with Kamala's remarks about "unstable" Donald Trump and then used those same comments to ask her when she noticed Joe Biden's mental acuity was crumbling.  She didn't see this coming. Kamala's answer to the question was resorting to the only thing she’s comfortable with, which is sh*tting on Donald Trump some more. The conversation concluded with a fitting end when Bret Baier softly reminded Kamala that she didn't say a single thing about herself and chose to spend her time sh*tting on Donald instead.  That's literally the theme of the entire interview. Kamala told viewers that if you want to learn anything about her, you have to go to her website instead."
