Klaus Arminius on X - "A young Australian woman went to France, hoping to experience the beautiful and rich French culture.  Instead, she was gang-r*ped by 5 African men and left half-naked and bleeding in front of a kebab shop in Paris.  Figures, recorded by Paris Police, revealed that 77% of rape cases in the capital in 2023 were committed by perpetrators who do not hold French passports.  Notice how the article downplays the r*pe as “claims” despite there being semen evidence, and just refers the r*pists as “individuals”?"

Athletes warned after attacks on Australians in Paris - "Australian athletes in Paris have been reminded not to travel alone or wear their Olympic uniforms in public after two violent attacks on Australians in 48 hours.  French police are investigating allegations a 25-year-old Australian woman was gang-raped by five men during a night out near the Moulin Rouge... Just 48 hours later, two members of Nine’s Olympics broadcast team say they were the victims of an attempted robbery as they walked to their accommodation in the city’s north-east on Monday (Paris time).  Nine newspapers report the attackers tried to snatch the tech employees’ backpacks and they were assaulted in the scuffle that ensued."
It's racist victim blaming to talk about crime in Paris

Klaus Arminius on X - "Frenchwomen are making videos ahead of the Paris Olympic Games to warn other European women about immigrants, sexual assaults, how to stay safe, what to wear etc. European women and girls are not safe thanks to mass immigration and multiculturalism."
Believe Women - when it pushes the left wing agenda
English subtitles

France faces a backlash over hijab ban for athletes at the Olympics Games in Paris, with campaigners branding the move 'racist, gender discrimination' - "Rights groups have accused France of 'discriminatory hypocrisy' for its refusal to allow its athletes to wear the hijab during their participation at the Paris Olympics, which are due to get underway in ten days' time. Amnesty International, along with ten other organisations, said that the ban prevented athletes 'from exercising their human right to play sport without discrimination of any kind.'... 'Banning French athletes from competing with sports hijabs at the Olympic and Paralympic Games makes a mockery of claims that Paris 2024 is the first Gender Equal Olympics and lays bare the racist gender discrimination that underpins access to sport in France,' said Anna Błuś, Amnesty's International Women's Rights Researcher in Europe... Amnesty International said that such bans have resulted in negative mental and physical consequences for women and caused 'humilitation, trauma and fear.'... While the UN did not directly address the ban, the UN Rights Office's spokeswoman in Geneva said in a veiled rebuke after the policy was announced that 'no-one should impose on a woman what she needs to wear or not to wear.' She also pointed out that 'discriminatory practices against a group can have harmful consequences' and added: 'Restrictions on expressions of religions or beliefs, such as attire choices, are only acceptable under really specific circumstances'"
Weird how Iran can enforce a mandatory headscarf when it hosts events
Is banning female genital cutting racist gender discrimination?

Meme - "Back in '92, a gay dude and a fat lady sung at the summer Olympics. But why wasn't it shitty and woke ? Because of talent."

Meme - "Virgin 2024 Paris Olympics ceremony
Basically a pride event
Somehow worse than 2012 London
Needed electric guitars, drums, etc. for some reason
Will be forgotten in 2025
They displayed "French" culture
Used as outlet to push US celebrity slop
Chang 2008 Beijing Olympics ceremony
Proud display of national pride
2008 Beijing ceremony still undefeated
Didn't need modern instruments
Still remembered almost 2 decades later
Displays actual Chinese culture
No one gave a sh*t about celebrities during this event"

Sick Of It 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸 on X - "The Olympics Opening Ceremonies are always about showcasing what your country is all about and the best from your culture. So when we think of France and Paris .. we all think of Twerking African trans women yeah?"

Concerned Citizen on X - "The Olympics are over 1,500 years old. I bet they didn’t celebrate sport, with kids dancing next to men pretending to be Women, simply to make an Ideological statement. The Olympics died tonight."

Thread by @babybeginner on Thread Reader App – Thread Reader App - "I really want there to be a path to redemption when someone does something wrong. I want to forgive them.  But this is a gaslight not an apology. We know the Olympic organizing committee is lying.  We know they know how divisive this all is. We know they KNOW. They are pushing their new ideology. They want it to overtake the old. That is what queering MEANS.  Queer theory is a specific teaching. It is taught in many colleges. It is designed to break down the norms surrounding sexuality. That is why you will see academic papers like these. That are queering these taboo topics. This is intentional. There are many papers on queering. I’m sure some of the replies will include more information about it.  This was the intention of the organizer Thomas Jolly who wrote that he promised to challenge the current models and our way of seeing. You saw how he challenged our ways. It was very very clear. No mystery at all.  So when he says it wasn’t their intention to offend that is a barefaced lie.  What they are trying to do is gaslight you. Make you think nothing happened. They want to hide it.  Worse, they want YOU to look bad if you challenge this. It is just you being unaccepting, intolerant. It is all a part of the theory and how to push it through society. They don’t like sunlight on their actions. They work better through stealth; through normalizing what they are doing. Pretending it you that has something wrong with them.  They will use lots of insults to get you to stop talking about what they are doing. Again. I WANT to forgive the Olympics. I really really want to. But I really don’t like it when anyone tries to deceive me.  That apology was a gaslight. A technique designed to make you look bad if you don’t accept."

👑💥 Serenity 💥👑 on X - "The people posting about not being offended by the parody of the Last Supper, are the same people who were offended by pancakes and butter…"

What does La Cene Sur La Scene Sur La Seine mean? Netizens refute Dutch historian's claim that Paris Olympics did not mock 'The Last Supper' - "Dutch art and architectural historian Walther Schoonenberg took to X on July 28 and wrote... Schoonenberg, who is a curator and Secretary of the Association of Friends at the Amsterdam City Center, shared side-by-side images of the controversial Paris Olympics performance and Bijlert’s The Feast of the Gods painting, seemingly to show their similarities under his post. However, the internet doesn’t seem convinced and is refuting this viral claim. Many claimed that the performance was titled ‘La Cene Sur La Scene Sur La Seine’ in French, which when translated to English means ‘The Last Supper on the stage on the [River] Seine.’ Notably, while the Olympics organizers did not officially use the title, French news outlets, including Le Soir, used it in their publications...  in the aftermath of the performance, French DJ, producer, and LGBTQ advocate Barbara Butch, who was at the center of it, re-shared multidisciplinary artist Flavio Juan Nunez's collage of the former's act alongside the original The Last Supper painting.      “Oh Yes! Oh Yes! The New Gay Testament!," Butch reportedly wrote on her Instagram Story... 2024 Paris Olympics producers told The Wrap exclusively on Sunday that “For the ‘Festivities’ segment, Thomas Jolly took inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting to create the setting.” They further added how Jolly was “not the first artist to make a reference to what is a world-famous work of art. From Andy Warhol to The Simpsons, many have done it before him.”"

'No question of Christians being offended': Dutch historian explains why Paris Olympics 2024 wasn't mocking 'The Last Supper' : r/europe - "Actors refered to the Last Supper in interviews. You'd think they would be the first to know what god they were representing."
JO 2024 : la parodie de la Cène de la cérémonie d’ouverture sème le trouble en France mais aussi à l’étranger

Balqees on X - "‘They'd never mock Islam like this’ is often spouted by Islamophobes to suggest that Muslims have a special privilege and protection from mockery, ignoring Europe's long history of mocking Islam. Europe is the home of Charlie Hebdo, known for its vulgarity towards Islam and the Prophet Muhammad, and Quran burnings. So yes, they actually do mock Islam, often in the most grotesque manner."
Wilfred Reilly on X - "Muslims literally killed the anti-Islam cartoonists being referred to here. It is literally impossible, in modern Europe, to imagine 30 seconds of globally televised mockery of Islam at the start of the Olympics."

Chants of 'Heil Hitler' rain down during Israel soccer matchup - "A wave of "Heil Hitler" chants from antisemitic protesters rang out during the Israel-Paraguay soccer matchup on Saturday night.  During Israel's national anthem, a group of protesters began booing shouting "Heil Hitler" while seemingly performing Nazi salutes in the Parc de Princes."
Nazi invocations only disqualify causes that don't push the left wing agenda

Eyal Yakoby on X - "Breaking: An Iranian weightlifter was banned for life because he shook hands with his Israeli opponent. The Iranian Olympic Federation described the handshake as “unforgivable.” When discussing peace, it’s important to recognize who is leading and sponsoring hate and terrorism."
Clearly they are honouring the spirit of the Olympics and Iran should be praised and continued to be allowed to compete

Katy Montgomerie 🦗 on X - "There is one trans boxer at the Olympics, but it's not a trans woman (there are none good enough to have qualified), it's a trans man called Hergie Bacyadan That doesn't fit the bigots narrative so they'll ignore it and lie instead"
Ironic. The left misses the point once again. This is basically an admission that it's not "transphobia" which drives the objections, but concerns about fairness
Weird how the left, which believes in gender self-identification, is okay with a "man" competing in women's sports

Paris Olympics 2024: Philippines fighter Hergie Bacyadan says XY chromosome boxers should not be allowed to compete against females - "Philippines fighter Hergie Bacyadan, a female boxer who identifies as a trans man, said athletes born with XY chromosomes should not be allowed to compete in the women's competition in Paris but should permitted to spar other female fighters... Philippines coaches declared "she was born a female and is a female" when quizzed about the fighter's gender... Bacyadan also declared that fighters who have previously failed testosterone and gender-eligibility tests should be banned from competing in the women's events."
Oops
The coaches need to be fired for misgendering it

Algeria FC on X - "Isn’t it interesting how at the 2020 Olympics, when Imane Khelif lost to Kellie Harrington 🇮🇪 in the quarterfinals, literally no one accused her of being a man? It’s almost as if brain dead right wing morons will hope on any conspiracy theory train"
It's almost as if people don't get upset at perceived cheaters if they lose, because they're not taking someone else's spot

Meme - Qinwen Zheng: "Years of training

Yusuf Dikec: "Imagining your target as Armenian children"

The Internet’s Todd Holloman on X - ""The Olympics went woke and gay!" My brothers and sisters in Christ, I'd like to introduce you to the ancient Greeks."
The original Olympics banned women, so now that's okay

Giorgia Villa is living everyone’s dream with her parmesan cheese sponsorship in Paris Olympics - "Giorgia Villa has become the latest breakout star from the Paris 2024 Olympics, and not just because she helped Italy score its first-ever team gymnastics medal. Rather, it’s because the Olympian was at one point sponsored by none other than parmesan cheese... In one viral photo shared online, Villa posed in her gymnastics leotard and hugged a giant wheel of parmesan cheese, as she pretended to eat a block in a second image. Another snap from Parmigiano Reggiano showed Villa sitting on top of three wheels of cheese."

Meme - jeft_irwin_: "It's kinda cringe that they're referring to women at the olympics as "femmes""

"FEMMES QUALIFICATION SUBDIVISION 2"

Olympic ‘Last Supper’ scene was in fact based on painting of Greek gods, say art experts - "A controversial tableau in the Olympics opening ceremony denounced by Christian and conservative critics as an offensive parody of The Last Supper was in fact inspired by a 17th-century Dutch painting of the Greek Olympian gods, art historians have said. “Does this painting remind you of something?” the Magnin Museum in the French city of Dijon asked (with a wink) on X, inviting people to “come and admire” The Feast of the Gods, painted by the artist Jan van Bijlert between 1635 and 1640."
Weird how the "experts" didn't know this

Reason behind Olympic 'Blue Scrotum' performance at opening ceremony explained amid backlash from viewers - ""I wrote a song called 'Nude' and, while making it, I thought that for the Olympics, it would be good. During the first Olympic Games in Greece, the athletes were naked according to the representations of the time on engravings and vases. Nudity is really the very origin of the Games. At the beginning, they were naturist Olympics. So I sent my video, a little motivational tape to Thomas Jolly in February and he liked it." Katerine noted he's 'a bit of an exhibitionist' and the performance is his 'culture' and he's 'proud' of it."
But if you say there shouldn't be public nudity for such a major event that's not targeted only at adults, you're ignorant and hateful

The Paris Opening Ceremonies weren’t awful, they were French - "Whatever people may have disagreed with or have hoped for in the Opening Ceremonies, they offer a valuable lesson: culture still matters. Culture still matters a lot. Those who deride the modern takes on history or the drag queens populating a live enactment of Da Vinci’s The Last Supper, or the rather odd blue people in fruit plates, miss a central point: running through the entire ceremony were identifiable and rock solid cultural references for the French and those familiar with their country."

Paris Olympics: Ariarne Titmus slams conditions in the Paris Olympic village - forcing Australia's head swimming coach to hit back - "Australia's queen of the pool Ariarne Titmus has unleashed on the 'ridiculous' conditions inside the Olympic Village. The triple gold medalist is among a host of current and present Aussie athletes who have weighed in on the 'eco friendly' accommodation arrangements in Paris, which include polythene mattresses and beds made from cardboard. Others have complained about the food options... 'It probably wasn't the time I thought I was capable of, but living in the Olympic Village makes it hard to perform,' she admitted in an interview on Sunday. 'It's definitely not made for high performance, so it's about who can really keep it together in the mind.'... The beds in the Olympic Village have been the focus of controversy for their lack of comfort and their 'wokeness'. The single beds, produced by Airwave, feature cardboard frames as part of the organisers' sustainability efforts... The 'anti-sex' cardboard beds went down like a lead balloon with Aussie water polo star Tilly Kearns and teammate Gabi Palm, who said 'my back is about to fall off' after their first night. Tennis star Daria Saville also revealed that the village is nothing like being in a hotel in a social media post on Tuesday. 'We don't really have hotel-like housekeeping here in the Olympic Village, so you have to get your own toilet paper,' she wrote in a caption alongside video of herself grabbing several rolls. It comes after retired Olympic swimmer James Magnussen took a swipe at the Olympics, claiming that the so eco-friendly stance is ruining athletes' chances of setting world records. Magnussen won gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Olympic Games in 2012 and 2016. He also secured the title of 100m freestyle world champion in 2011 and 2013. Magnussen retired from competitive swimming in 2019. He believes that the pinnacle sporting event in the world has an eco-friendly, vegan-first mentality that is damaging performance."
This won't stop elites trying to impose this nightmare on the masses

Magnussen: Why vegan-first mentality is damaging Olympics - "The Olympic Games are about trying to get the perfect performance in the most imperfect environment. There are so many extenuating circumstances that make the Olympic Games the hardest environment to perform at your best. We’ve already heard the likes of Ariarne Titmus talk about how difficult life is in the village, so we can’t dismiss those complaints as an athlete whining because they didn’t win gold. There’s multiple factors that make village life far from ideal. It’s the cardboard beds, which can’t give you optimal sleep. It’s the no airconditioning, which is going to play a bigger factor as the week goes. It was 20 degrees and raining yesterday. It’s going to be mid 30s in the coming days. That’s going to play a factor and the Australian team having their own portable air conditioners will be a welcome relief. It’s the crowded buses with no air flow. It’s all of the walking everywhere. The one thing we noticed in London was I was getting up to 6000-7000 steps a day, going from my room, to the food hall, to the bus stop, to the pool... You add those extenuating circumstances of village life on top of that layer of pressure and expectation in a nation like Australia, it’s actually amazing that athletes can manage to perform at their best or break world records at an Olympic Games. From our sample size thus far, this Olympics is showing that it may be one of the toughest environments we’ve seen to produce world record swims. The lack of world records boils down to this whole eco-friendly, carbon footprint, vegan-first mentality rather than high performance. They had a charter that said 60 per cent of food in the village had to be vegan friendly and the day before the opening ceremony they ran out of meat and dairy options in the village because they hadn’t anticipated so many athletes would be choosing the meat and dairy options over the vegan friendly ones. The caterer had to rejig their numbers and bring in more of those products because surprise, surprise — world class athletes don’t have vegan diets. They must have watched the Netflix doco Game Changers and assumed everyone was the same. But let me tell you, Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps, Roger Federer — none of those guys are on a vegan diet. It seemed Paris wanted to be eco first, performance second at the Games. I don’t know if that’s a political stance, or if it’s a cost stance, but I think in the future we need to look to other options because the Olympics is the pinnacle sporting event in the world."

Organisers meet athletes demands after food, transport complaints - "The quality and quantity of food drew criticism from athletes after catering staff rationed breakfast eggs last week. Organisers had promised fresh produce mostly made in France, with a focus on local and organic products and more vegetarian options. Some demanded more meat, however... "There has been a reinforcement in animal proteins with 700 kilos of eggs and a ton of meat (available) to meet the demands of the athletes, who we place at the heart of the Paris 2024 experience." Six South Korean swimmers preparing for the Olympics moved out of the athletes' village on Friday to stay at a hotel near their competition venue, the sport's top national official said. This was the Korea Swimming Federation's response after two of the swimmers, Kim Woo-min and Hwang Sun-woo, had the previous day complained about a long commute in hot buses... The Australia delegation, with 460 athletes, came prepared by bringing with them more than three tons of tuna, 10,000 muesli bars and 2,400 meat pies, as well as three baristas who expect to make more 20,000 shots of coffee during the Games."

No AC for Olympic athletes in Paris? Good intention, but bad idea - Los Angeles Times - "Instead of installing A/C to keep housing safe and comfortable for thousands of athletes staying in the Olympic village, organizers planned to rely on a geothermal system that pipes in cool water underneath the floors. But their assurances that the system was capable of keeping indoor temperatures about 11 degrees cooler than outdoors did not inspire much confidence during a year that’s on track to be the hottest on record. The plan prompted concerns from many countries — including the United States — that runners, gymnasts, swimmers and other athletes in the biggest competition of their lives would not get the rest and recovery they need to perform their best as temperatures reach the upper 80s and 90s. As Matt Carroll with the Australian Olympic Committee put it last year, “We’re not going for a picnic.”... it’s an odd position, given that France has a pretty low-carbon electrical grid due to most of its power coming from nuclear as well as experience with devastating heat waves, such as the ones that killed 5,000 people last summer and in 2003. In the lead-up to the Games, French officials were uncompromising in their view that A/C would be unnecessary and unacceptable because of the impact of energy consumption on the climate. “I have a lot of respect for the comfort of athletes, but I think a lot more about the survival of humanity,” Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo told a French radio station last year. Given the high temperatures expected in July and August, the U.S., Canada, Australia, Japan and a number of other wealthy countries decided to provide portable air conditioners for their athletes. That raised questions of fairness"

Olympian sent home for sneaking out of village with boyfriend | news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site - "Ana Carolina Vieira, from Brazil, was sent packing after being caught short as she attempted to flout the rules to party with her partner. The 22-year-old was a member of the country’s 4x100m freestyle relay team which crashed out of the tournament ahead of the final on 27th July. But the night before, on 26th July, Vieira and her boyfriend swimmer Gabriel Santos, sneaked out of the Olympic Village to sample Parisian night-life... when the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) tried to discipline her, she reportedly abused them and was immediately booked on a flight home. Santos, who had been eliminated in the heats of the men’s 4x100 freestyle, was reprimanded after apologising"
Olympics star breaks silence after being sent home for breaking golden rule with boyfriend - ""Ana Carolina, in a disrespectful and aggressive manner, contested the technical decision taken by the Brazilian Swimming Team committee"... Vieira has since spoken out about the situation on her Instagram story, claiming to have done nothing wrong and to have filed a harassment complaint with the COB... The head of Brazil's swimming team, Gustavo Otstuka, has condemned Vieira's actions as "completely inappropriate". Otstuka told Reuters: "We're not here playing or taking a vacation. We're here working for Brazil, for the 200 million taxpayers who are working for us."
Clear proof of sexism and patriarchy!
