Terror on US College Campuses (including Palestine)

We are still told that the left don't hate their countries and don't support terrorism:

Thread by @ShaiDavidai on Thread Reader App – Thread Reader App

"Many people are wondering about what’s happening on U.S. campuses.

While I can’t speak about all other college campuses, I can definitely give you an insider’s view about @Columbia University...

At @Columbia, the pro-Hamas protests have been primarily led by Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine (SJP)...

So, what is Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine all about?

This organization was founded in 2001 by Hatem Bazian at @UCBerkely.

From its inception (and despite the lies they perpetuate), SJP called for violence in the United States

Here is a short clip of the founder of Students for 'Justice' in Palestine calling for an armed uprising in the U.S., just like the one in Iraq.

Reminder: Hatem Bazian is, at this very moment, a professor @UCBerkely

SJP has never hidden its support for terror.

In 2014, SJP raised funds for Rasmea Odeh – a terrorist convicted of bombing a crowded supermarket and murdering Leon Kanner and Eddie Joffe – two undergraduate students at @HebrewU

*This is what makes SJP a pro-terror organization*

For years, SJP has openly supported Hamas.

Hamas is a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

Don’t take my word for it.

Here is the official list of foreign terror organizations that are recognized by the U.S. State Department Bureau of Counterterrorism,

So, what does this support of Hamas look like?

SJP’s social media accounts glorify terrorists who have orchestrated the murder and kidnapping of civilians.

This is akin to celebrating Osama Bin Laden for orchestrating 9/11.

*This is what makes SJP a pro-terror organization*

Every July, SJP celebrates the life of Ghassan Kanafani – a terrorist who orchestrated the largest massacre of Israeli civilians prior to October 7.

(my family lives 15 minutes away from Lod airport)

*This is what makes SJP a pro-terror organization*

Lod Airport massacre - Wikipedia

SJP celebrates terrorists who target any civilian, not just Israeli ones.

Here is a post celebrating a terrorist who hijacked an *American airplane*.

On board was Thomas Boyatt – a high ranking U.S. diplomat.

*This is what makes SJP a pro-terror organization*

Now, let’s take a look at what SJP had to say about the October 7 Massacre, in which Hamas terrorist raped teenage girls, executed babies, and kidnapped more than 250 civilians (*including 14 U.S. citizens!*)

Here are some excerpts from the official letter from the national chapter of SJP, *written on the day of the October 7 massacre*

SJP calls rape, torture, murder, and kidnapping of civilians a ‘historic win’

*This is what makes SJP a pro-terror organization*

The national chapter of SJP calls terrorists who rape teenagers, murder babies, and kidnap old women “resistance fighters” and “martyrs”

(Notice the first person plural. They view Hamas terrorists as *their* martyrs)

*This is what makes SJP a pro-terror organization*

Celebrating violence against Israeli civilians is not enough for SJP.

They also call for confrontations on all U.S campuses.

(Some people may find this extremely telling - the national chapter of Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine refuses to acknowledge the U.S. by name)

SJP views rape, murder, and kidnapping as *legitimate* and *necessary*

My 93 years old grandmother lives in Israel. SJP believes that kidnapping her would be a necessary act of resistance.

These are their words, not mine.

*This is what makes SJP a pro-terror organization*

But here is the smoking gun.

Maybe the most telling thing about Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine is that they are merely a mouthpiece for Hamas.

Again, don’t take my word for it.

Listen to this message from a Hamas spokesperson on the day of the October 7 Massacre

Now, let’s focus on @Columbia.

SJP at @Columbia will tell you that they are merely protesting the war in Gaza.

That’s a lie.

As you can clearly see, the @Columbia SJP chapter already mobilized on October 7, *while the massacre of civilians by Hamas was still taking place*

In fact, a mere five days after the October 7 massacre (and weeks before even a single Israeli soldier set foot in Gaza), the @Columbia chapter of SJP orchestrated a protest to celebrate the rape, murder, and kidnapping of Israeli civilians.

After repeatedly breaking @Columbia’s policies for holding unauthorized protests, SJP was temporarily suspended from campus.

In response, they call their friends from Within Our Lifetime (WOL) – an even more radical pro-terror organization.

Like @Columbia’s chapter of SJP, Within Our Lifetime also believe that raping teenagers, executing babies, and kidnapping the elderly are all legitimate forms of resistance.

So, what is this organization called Within Our Lifetime?

In February 2018, the New York City chapter of Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine was renamed Within Our Lifetime.

*WOL is basically SJP, re-branded.*
In fact, Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine clearly take their cues from the Within Our Lifetime playbook.

Here are some recommended chants from the WOL ‘rally toolkit’:

@NYPD, KKK, IDF, They’re all the same

There is only one solution! Intifada revolution!

And, of course, their personal favorite:

(Notice that they are not even pretending to say that they are chanting for coexistence. They don’t want Jews in Israel. They are literally saying the quiet part out loud.)

If you still have doubts about what Intifada means in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, see here...

Remember: these organizations don’t just hate Israel. They deeply despise the U.S. as well.

Here’s a video from a Within Our Lifetime *on July 4* in which protestors cheer for the burning of both the Israeli and American flags...

Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine and Within Our Lifetime will tell you that they are non-violent.

This is a lie.

They regularly incite riots all across New York City in which they target @NYPD police officers.

Don’t take my word for it.

Here is a video from May 2021 of Within Our Lifetime protestors rioting against @NYPD officers.

This is happening here, in the U.S. Not in Israel. Not in Gaza. Here, in New York City.

After being dispersed by the cops, the Within Our Lifetime mob went on an antisemitic rampage across New York City.

In one instance, they targeted a 31-year-old Jewish man, just because he was wearing his yarmulke...

Remember: Within Our Lifetime is just SJP re-branded.

*This is what makes SJP a pro-terror organization*...

Here is what one of the assailants had to say about the attack:

“If I could do it again, I would do it again, I have no problem doing it again.”

There are many more examples of the terror-sympathizing, hateful rhetoric of Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine.

This is not about individual students.

*This is about a well-funded pro-terror organization that operates across more than 200 (!) U.S. campuses.*

This is what the President of @Columbia University is unwilling to put a stop to.

This is why we must all ask Congresswoman @virginiafoxx to issue a subpoena and force the President of @Columbia to testify in front of the U.S. Congress.

To learn more about the how Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine operate, orchestrate their lies, and recruit naïve students all across the U.S., I recommend that you follow this guy: @thestustustudio

If you've made it all the way to the end of these thread, I kindly ask you to retweet this, so we can get the word out.

Every American parent needs to know about this pro-terror organization that is operating on their kids' college campus."

"For three months, I've raised the alarm about pro-terror organizations on U.S. campuses.

I've said this from the very beginning: this isn't about Israel or Palestine.

This is about supporting terrorism.

Now the SJP is going after the U.S...

Last week, in response to repeated attacks on American ships by the Houthis (a terrorist organization that controls western Yemen) the U.S. army responded with a targeted attack of the organization's targets...

Just like Hamas and Hezbollah, the Houthis are an Iranian-backed terrorist organization who views Israel and the U.S. as the devil.

The Houthi flag is just five sentences in green in red:

Allah (God) is great.
Death to America
Death to Israel
Curse the Jews
Victory to Islam

The Houthis oppose everything the West stands for, including women's right to life and liberty.

A 2023 report by Human Rights Watch (@hrw) found that women are not permitted to travel anywhere within Houthi-controlled areas without a male chaperone...

Don't take my word for it.

Take the words of Yemeni women suffering under this terrorist organization.

It's important to remember that even the official government in Yemen considers the Houthis as terrorists

Here is a minister of the government of Yemen denouncing the Houthis as the vile terrorist organization that it is.

The Houthis, on their part, have vowed to keep attacking "The American Enemy" (read: you and I)...

Now, why is it important to understand what this terrorist organization is all about?

Because Students for 'Justice' in Palestine (SJP) - the same organization that supports Hamas - has also expressed support for the Houthis.

This is what makes SJP a pro-terror organization

Here is Students for 'Justice' in Palestine (SJP) from @UHouston and @RiceUniversity blaming the U.S. for *defending itself from terrorism*

(Reminder: the U.S. attacked the Houthis *after* being attacked by them)

** This is what makes SJP a pro-terror organization **

Here is Students for 'Justice' in Chicago railing AGAINST the U.S. for defending itself from terrorism

** This is what makes SJP a pro-terror organization **

Of course, SJP can't do this alone.

As you can see, AMP - the shady funder and organizer of SJP with clear links to Hamas - is also blaming the U.S. for protecting itself from the Houthis...

And, of course, Within Our Lifetime (the rebranded version of @CUNY SJP with close ties to @Columbia SJP) also believes that protecting terrorists is more important than protecting American lives...

To sum:

(a) Houthis (a fundamentalist terror organization whose flag literally says "Death to America") repeatedly attack American ships

(b) In response, the U.S. attacks terrorist targets

(c) SJP - a pro-terror student organization - attacks the U.S. for protecting itself

Why is this important?

Because @Columbia University REFUSES to take action against this pro-terror organization.

If @Columbia doesn't permanently ban SJP (and their JVP pals) from campus, they will be back on campus *next week*

And they're coming back with a vengeance

Remember: It was never about Israel or Palestine.

It's always been about their hate for American values.

Just read their propaganda and listen to them preaching the gospel of Hamas.

This is not a Jewish problem.

This is an American problem.

The President of @Columbia thinks that ignoring the problem will make it go away.

This is not going away. But neither are we...

The message is simple: Pro-terror organizations have no place on campus."

"U.S. campuses have been terrorized by pro-Hamas protests, primarily led by Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine.

To understand these protests, one must look at who’s behind this organization.

Three words: Follow the money...

So, who is behind Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine?

Who gives them money? Where do they get their training?

Remember Hatem Bazian, the @UCBerkeley professor who founded SJP in 2001?

(as a reminder, here is a short clip of Bazian calling for an armed uprising in the U.S.)

Bazian’s violent antisemitic rhetoric has been known to the University of California system and @UCBerkeley for at least six years, and they have chosen to do nothing about it.

In 2006, Bazian founded American Muslims for Palestine (AMP)

AMP was established by more than half a dozen staff of three defunct Hamas-linked charities:

1. Holy Land Foundation
2. Islamic Foundation for Palestine
3. Kindhearts for Charitable Development

These three organizations were dissolved and/or had their assets frozen by the U.S. government *for fundraising in the United States in support of Hamas*

This flowchart clearly shows how these Hamas-supporting organizations regrouped as American Muslims for Palestine (AMP)

It gets even more surreal.

In a recent video, a Hamas spokesperson explicitly said that one goal of the massacre of October 7 and the kidnapping of more than 250 civilians (including 14 American civilians) was the release of these organizations’ directors *from U.S. prisons *

So, who is pulling the strings at American Muslims for Palestine (AMP)?

Let’s take a look at their board of directors.

Here is Dr. Osama Abuirshaid, the Executive Director of AMP, calling Israel a bloodsucking parasite

Abuirshaid has repeatedly expressed support for Hamas and its desire to “free Palestine from the river to the sea”

This is the exact same genocidal chants used by Students for 'Justice' in Palestine across U.S. campuses

Again, don’t take my word for it.

Here is Abuirshaid – the Executive Director of American Muslims for Palestine - contributing to the website of Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of Hamas.

Of course, Abuirshaid is not the only problematic individual at AMP

Taher Herzallah is the Director of Outreach and Grassroots Organizing at AMP.

AMP officials will tell you that they are not antisemitic.

That’s a lie.

Herzalla sees every Jewish person as the enemy

In his prior role at the organization, Herzallah was the National Campus Coordinator for American Muslims for Palestine...

In this role, Herzallah helped American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) coordinate the many college chapters of Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine (SJP) all across the U.S.

Here is @JSchanzertestifying in front of Congress about the link between AMP and SJP

Finally, here is Tarek Khalil, the current Education Coordinator at American Muslims for Palestine.

He is the man who is in charge of coordinating the antisemitic agenda of SJP.

Is this the guy you want engaging with college students all across the United States?

Last week, AMP held their national convention in Tinley Park, Illinois, in which they ran a special program for students called “Campus Activism Track”

In this session, Khalil taught college students how to coordinate the language they use in their pro-Hamas protests

He also led a “Youth Program”, presumably for pre-college teens who are still in high school

This wouldn’t be surprising, since American Muslims for Palestine has been trying to get into American high schools since as early as 2012

American Muslims for Palestine don’t even try to hide their involvement in nationally coordinating the pro-Hamas protests all across the U.S...

But let’s take a step back. How did we get here?

Well, things seem to have really kicked-off in 2010, the year that American Muslims for Palestine facilitated a National convention of Students for 'Justice' in Palestine

During that year’s convention’s program, American Muslims for Palestine explicitly called for the creation of a National organization of Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine

They even paid students to attend!

In addition to helping Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine coordinate their pro-Hamas protests, American Muslims for Palestine have also been providing material support to SJP chapters across the country

So far, we’ve seen how American Muslims for Palestine – an organization led by antisemitic, Hamas-supporting directors – supports and coordinates SJP, the so-called ‘spontaneous’ and ‘grassroots’ movement in colleges all across the U.S.

But there is more.

In 1996, David Boim *a 17 year old American teenager* was shot and killed by Hamas terrorists at a bus stop near Jerusalem.

David’s parents have sued American Muslims for Palestine for allegedly giving material support to Hamas

And, on October 31, 2023, @JasonMiyaresVA - the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Virginia - opened an investigation into American Muslims for Palestine under suspicion of giving material support to Hamas.

Maybe the most alarming thing is that the U.S. congress has known about American Muslims for Palestine and their connection to Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine for at least 7 years...

It’s difficult to know why Congress has yet to act on this issue.

One reason may be that the complicated corporate structure of American Muslims for Palestine also has a lobbying arm called AJP Action

For years, this lobbying arm has been lobbying the same radical politicians who we have publicly supported Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine, including at @Columbia University

In sum:

Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine (SJP) receive guidance and financial support from American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) whose directors have strong links to three pro-terror organizations that were dissolved by the U.S. government for fundraising money for Hamas

This is why I find @Columbia University’s support of Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine highly disturbing, to say the least.

This is why we must all ask Congresswoman @virginiafoxx to issue a subpoena and force the President of @Columbia to testify in front of the U.S. Congress"

"The Presidents of @Columbia University and @BarnardCollege don't give a fuck about their Jewish and Israeli students, faculty, or staff...

@BarnardCollege and @Columbia invited Hatem Bazian to lead a "day of dialogue".

This is like inviting David Duke to teach about racial tolerance.

This man is the most antisemitic professor in the U.S.

He founded the pro-terror SJP and runs the Hamas-linked AMP.

Here's a clip of Hatem Bazian calling for an armed uprising in the U.S., just like the one in Iraq

This is the person that @Columbia invited to lead a "day of dialogue"...

Hatem Bazian has impersonated being a Jew multiple times.

This is so incredibly offensive and antisemitic."
