Spammer, 5th February: Hi Gabriel,
I noticed that you have a broken link to a website called eFinancialNews.com. That site was first published way back in 2000 but unfortunately, it is no longer a working website.
You link to eFinancialNews on this page: http://gssq.blogspot.com/2010_08_15_archive.html
We recently published an article that explains what happened to the site. I think it's an interesting story, and it could be useful to your readers.
In addition, since all of the financial content on that site is no longer available, we have included a curated list of the best financial news resources that are still being published.
Here's the article if you want to take a look: *Removed*
Would you consider swapping out the broken link for our article?
Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
-Chris
Spammer, 12th February: Hi again,
I wanted to check in and see if you got my note about the broken link on your site?
Thanks!
Chris
Me, 12th February: I have no interest in linking your article and doubt my readers do either. Even if anyone happens to notice the 404 they'll be more likely to want to read the original article rather than one about what happened to the site originally hosting it, an issue about which they in all likelihood could care less about
I hope you have more success promoting your SEO through link insertion to other sites
Spammer, 12th February: Fair enough, thanks Gabriel.
