On historical heritage

"When I visited the British Museum and the British Library in London last month, I gained a healthy respect for how the British have kept the historical artifacts in pristine condition and made it open to all. (I was surprised how easy it was for me to have a first hand look at the Codex Sinaiticus (the world’s oldest near complete Bible) at the British Library and how every page is available for browsing in their website.) Repatriation to Egypt or Greece or Iraq would mean that it would be the last time the public would get a chance to see them."
